1. మిగ్దోలులోగాని తహపనేసులోగాని నొపులోగాని పత్రోసులోగాని ఐగుప్తుదేశవాసము చేయుచున్న యూదులనందరినిగూర్చి ఇశ్రాయేలు దేవుడును సైన్యముల కధిపతియునగు యెహోవా వాక్కు యిర్మీయాకు ప్రత్యక్షమై యీలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను

1. This is the word that was shewed to Jeremy concerning all the Jews, which dwelt in Egypt: at Magdal, at Thaphnis, at Memphis, and in the land of Patures.

2. నేను యెరూషలేము మీదికిని యూదా పట్టణములన్నిటి మీదికిని రప్పించిన కీడంతయు మీరు చూచుచునే యున్నారు.

2. Thus sayeth the LORD of Hosts the God of Israel: Ye have seen all the misery that I have brought upon Jerusalem, and upon all the cities of Judah: so that this day they are desolate, and no man dwelling therein:

3. మీరైనను మీ పితరులైనను ఎరుగని అన్యదేవతలను అనుసరించుచు పూజించుచు వాటికి ధూపము వేయుచు వచ్చుటవలన వాటి నివాసులు తాము చేసికొనిన దోషముచేత నాకు కోపము పుట్టించిరి గనుక నేడు నివాసులులేకుండ అవి పాడుపడి యున్నవి గదా.

3. and that because of the great blasphemies, which they committed, to provoke me unto anger: In that they went back to do sacrifice, and worship unto strange gods: whom neither they, nor ye, nor your fathers have known.

4. మరియు నేను పెందలకడ లేచి ప్రవక్తలైన నా సేవకులందరిని మీయొద్దకు పంపుచు, నాకసహ్యమైన యీ హేయకార్యమును మీరు చేయకుండుడి అని నేను చెప్పుచువచ్చితిని గాని

4. How be it, I sent unto them my servants all the prophets: I rose up early, I sent unto them, and gave them warning: O do no such abominable things, and things that I hate.

5. వారు అలకింపక పోయిరి, అన్యదేవతలకు ధూపార్పణముచేయుట మానకపోయిరి, తమ దుర్మార్గతను విడువకపోయిరి చెవి యొగ్గకపోయిరి.

5. But they would not follow nor hearken, to turn from their wickedness, and to do no more sacrifice unto strange gods.

6. కావున నా ఉగ్రతయు నా కోపమును కుమ్మరింపబడి, యూదా పట్టణములలోను యెరూషలేము వీధులలోను రగులుకొనెను, గనుక నేడున్నట్లుగా అవి పాడై యెడారి ఆయెను.

6. Wherefore mine indignation and wrath was kindled, and it brent up the cities of Judah, the fields with the streets of Jerusalem, so that they were made waste and desolate, as it is come to pass this day.

7. కాబట్టి ఇశ్రాయేలు దేవుడును సైన్యముల కధిపతియునగు యెహోవా ఈలాగు అజ్ఞ ఇచ్చుచున్నాడు ఏమియు శేషములేకుండ స్త్రీ పురుషులును శిశువులును చంటి బిడ్డలును యూదా మధ్య నుండ కుండ నిర్మూలము చేయబడునట్లుగా మీరేల ఈ గొప్ప తప్పిదమును మీకు విరోధముగా చేసికొనుచున్నారు?

7. Now therefore thus sayeth the LORD of Hosts the God of Israel: How happeneth it, that ye do so great evil unto your own souls, thus to destroy the men and women, children and babes of Judah? so that none of you is left,

8. మీకుమీరే సమూలనాశనము తెచ్చుకొనునట్లును, భూమి మీదనున్న జనములన్నిటిలో మీరు దూషణపాలై తిరస్కరింపబడునట్లును, మీరు కాపురముండుటకు పోయిన ఐగుప్తులో అన్యదేవతలకు ధూపార్పణము చేయుదురు. మీరేల యీలాగున చేయుచు మీ చేతిక్రియలచేత నాకు కోపము పుట్టించుచున్నారు?

8. because ye provoke me unto wrath with the works of your own hands: when ye offer unto strange gods in the land of Egypt where as ye be gone to dwell: That ye might utterly perish, and that ye might be reviled and shamefully intreated of all nations.

9. వారు యూదాదేశములోను యెరూషలేము వీధుల లోను జరిగించిన క్రియలను అనగా మీ పితరులు చేసిన చెడుతనమును యూదా రాజులు చేసిన చెడుతనమును వారి భార్యలు చేసిన చెడుతనమును, మీమట్టుకు మీరు చేసిన చెడుతనమును మీ భార్యలు చేసిన చెడుతనమును మరచి పోతిరా?

9. Or have ye now forgotten the wickedness of your forefathers, the wickedness of the kings of Judah and their wives, the wickedness that ye yourselves and your wives have done in the land of Judah, in the city and in the land of Jerusalem?

10. నేటివరకు వారు దీనమనస్సు ధరింపకున్నారు, భయము నొందకున్నారు, నేను మీకును మీ పితరులకును నియమించిన ధర్మశాస్త్రము నైనను కట్టడలనైనను అనుసరింపకయే యున్నారు.

10. Yet are ye not sorry this day, ye fear not, neither walk ye in my law and my commandments, that I have given unto you and your forefathers.

11. కాబట్టి ఇశ్రాయేలు దేవుడును సైన్యములకధిపతియగు యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు మీకు కీడు చేయునట్లు,

11. Therefore thus sayeth the LORD of Hosts the God of Israel: I am steadfastly advised and determined, to punish you, and to root out all Judah.

12. అనగా యూదావారినందరిని నిర్మూలము చేయునట్లు, నేను మీకు అభిముఖుడనగుదును; ఐగుప్తు దేశములో కాపురముందుమని అచ్చటికి వెళ్ల నిశ్చయించుకొను యూదాశేషులను నేను తోడుకొని పోవుదును, వారందరు ఐగుప్తు దేశములోనే నశించెదరు; అల్పులేమి ఘనులేమి వారందరు కూలుదురు, ఖడ్గముచేతనైనను క్షామముచేతనైనను నశింతురు, ఖడ్గముచేతనైనను క్షామము చేతనైనను వారు చత్తురు, శాపాస్పదమును భీతి పుట్టించు వారుగాను దూషణపాలుగాను తిరస్కారము నొందిన వారుగాను ఉందురు.

12. As for the remnant of Judah that purposely went into Egypt, there to ease them of their misery: I will take them and they shall all be destroyed. In the land of Egypt shall they perish, being consumed with the sword and with hunger. For from the least unto the most, they shall perish with the sword and with hunger. More over they shall be reviled, abhorred, shamed and confounded.

13. యెరూషలేము నివాసులను నేనే లాగు శిక్షించితినో ఆలాగే ఐగుప్తుదేశములో నివసించు వీరిని ఖడ్గముచేతగాని క్షామముచేతగాని తెగులుచేతగాని శిక్షించెదను.

13. For I will visit(upset) them that dwell in Egypt, as I have visited Jerusalem: with the sword, with hunger and with pestilence:

14. కావున తాము మరలి వచ్చి యూదాదేశములో కాపురముండవలెనన్న మక్కువచేత ఐగుప్తులో ఆగుటకై అక్కడికి వెళ్లు యూదా వారిలోని శేషము ఎవరును తప్పించుకొనరు, శేషమేమియు ఉండదు, పారి పోవువారు గాక మరి ఎవరును తిరిగిరారు.

14. So that none of the remnant of Judah, which are gone to dwell in Egypt shall be left to come again into the land of Judah all though they think to come thither again, and to dwell there. For none shall come again, but such as are fled away.

15. అప్పుడు తమ భార్యలు అన్యదేవతలకు ధూపము వేయుదురని యెరిగియున్న పురుషులందరును, అక్కడ నిలిచియున్న స్త్రీలును,

15. Then all the men which knew that their wives had offered unto strange gods, and a great sort of wives that stood there, yea and all the people that dwelt there in Egypt in the city of Patures, answered Jeremy, and said:

16. మహా సమాజముగా కూడిన వారును ఐగుప్తు దేశమందలి పత్రోసులో కాపురముండు జనులందరును యిర్మీయాకు ఈలాగు ప్రత్యుత్తర మిచ్చిరి యెహోవా నామమునుబట్టి నీవు మాకు ప్రకటించు ఈ మాటను మేమంగీకరింపము,

16. As for the words that thou hast spoken unto us in the name of the LORD, we will in no wise hear them:

17. మేము నీతో చెప్పిన సంగతులన్నిటిని నిశ్చయముగా నెరవేర్చ బోవుచున్నాము; మేమును మా పితరులును మా రాజులును మా యధిపతులును యూదా పట్టణములలోను యెరూషలేము వీధుల లోను చేసినట్లే ఆకాశరాణికి ధూపము వేయుదుము, ఆమెకు పానార్పణములు అర్పింతుము; ఏలయనగా మేము ఆలాగు చేసినప్పుడు మాకు ఆహారము సమృద్ధిగా దొరికెను, మేము క్షేమముగానే యుంటిమి, యే కీడును మాకు కలుగలేదు.

17. But whatsoever goeth out of our own mouth, that will we do: We will do sacrifice, and offer oblations unto the Queen of heaven: like as we and our forefathers, our kings and our heads have done in the cities of Judah, and in the streets and fields of Jerusalem. For then had we plenteousness of vitailles, then were we in prosperity, and no misfortune came upon us.

18. మేము ఆకాశరాణికి ధూపము వేయకయు ఆమెకు పానార్పణములు అర్పింపకయు మానినప్పటినుండి సమస్తము మాకు తక్కువైనది, మేము ఖడ్గముచేతను క్షామముచేతను క్షీణించుచున్నాము.

18. But since we left,(left off) to offer, and to do sacrifice unto the Queen of heaven, we have had scarceness of all things, and perish with the sword and hunger.

19. మేము ఆకాశ రాణికి ధూపము వేయగాను, ఆమెకు పానార్పణములు అర్పింపగాను, మా పురుషుల సెలవులేకుండ ఆమెకు పిండి వంటలు చేయుచున్నామా? ఆమెకు పానార్పణములు పోయుచున్నామా? అని వారు చెప్పగా

19. Last of all, when we women did sacrifice and offered unto the Queen of heaven, did we make her cakes and pour unto her drink offerings, to do her service, without our husbands' wills?

20. యిర్మీయా ఆ స్త్రీ పురుషులందరితో, అనగా తనకు అట్లు ప్రత్యుత్తర మిచ్చిన ప్రజలందరితో ఇట్లనెను

20. Then said Jeremy unto all the people, to the men, to the women, and to all the folk, which had given him that answer:

21. యూదాపట్టణముల లోను యెరూషలేము వీధులలోను మీరును మీ పితరులును మీ రాజులును మీ యధిపతులును దేశప్రజలును ధూపము వేసిన సంగతి యెహోవా జ్ఞాపకముచేసికొనలేదా? అదే గదా ఆయన మనస్సునకు వచ్చెను.

21. Did not the LORD remember the sacrifices that ye, your forefathers, your kings and rulers (with all the people) have offered in the cities of Judah, in the streets and land of Jerusalem? and hath he not considered this in his mind?

22. యెహోవా మీ దుష్టక్రియలను చూచి మీరు చేయు హేయకృత్యములను ఎంచి యికను సహింపలేకపోయెను గనుక నేడున్నట్లుగా మీ దేశము పాడుగాను ఎడారిగాను శాపాస్పదముగాను నిర్జనము గాను ఆయన చేసెను.

22. In so much, that the LORD might no longer suffer the wickedness of your inventions, and the abominable things which ye did? Is not your land desolate and void, yea and abhorred, so that no man dwelleth therein any more, as it is come to pass this day?

23. యెహోవా మాట వినక, ఆయన ధర్మశాస్త్రమునుబట్టియు కట్టడలనుబట్టియు ఆయన తనకు సాక్ష్యార్థముగా ఇచ్చిన ఆజ్ఞనుబట్టియు నడువక, మీరు ధూపమువేయుచు యెహోవాకు విరోధముగా పాపము చేసితిరి గనుకనే నేడున్నట్లుగా ఈ కీడు మీకు సంభవించెను.

23. Did not all this happen unto you, because ye made such sacrifice, and sinned against the LORD? Ye have not followed his voice, to walk in his law, in his ordinances and statutes. Yea this is the cause, that all misfortune happened unto you, as it is come to pass this day.

24. మరియు యిర్మీయా ప్రజలనందరిని స్త్రీలనందరిని చూచి వారితో ఇట్లనెను ఐగుప్తులోనున్న సమస్తమైన యూదులారా, యెహోవా మాట వినుడి.

24. Moreover, Jeremy spake unto all the people and to all the women: Hear the word of the LORD all Judah, ye that be in the land of Egypt:

25. ఇశ్రాయేలు దేవుడును, సైన్యములకధిపతియునగు యెహోవా ఈ మాట సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు ఆకాశరాణికి ధూపము వేయుదు మనియు, ఆమెకు పానార్పణములు అర్పింతుమనియు, మేము మ్రొక్కుకొనిన మ్రొక్కుబళ్లను నిశ్చయముగా నెరవేర్చుదుమనియు మీరును మీ భార్యలును మీ నోటితో పలికి మీ చేతులతో నెరవేర్చుచున్నారే; నిజముగానే మీ మ్రొక్కుబళ్లను మీరు మ్రొక్కుదురు, నిజముగానే మీ మ్రొక్కులను మీరు నెరవేర్తురు.

25. Thus sayeth the LORD of Hosts the God of Israel: Ye and your wives have spoken with your own mouth, the thing that ye have fulfilled in deed: Yea thus have ye said: We will not fail, but do the thing that pleaseth us: we will do sacrifice and pour out drink offerings to the Queen of heaven. Purposely have ye set up your own good meanings, and hastily have ye fulfilled your own intent.

26. కాబట్టి ఐగుప్తులో నివసించు సమస్తమైన యూదులారా, యెహోవామాటవినుడియెహోవా సెలవిచ్చునదేమనగా ప్రభువగు యెహోవా అను నేను నా జీవముతోడు ప్రమాణము చేయుచు, ఐగుప్తులో నివసించు యూదు లలో ఎవరును ఇకమీదట నా నామము నోట పలకరని నా ఘనమైన నామముతోడు నేను ప్రమాణము చేయు చున్నాను.

26. And therefore, hear the word of the LORD all Judah, ye that dwell in the land of Egypt. Behold, I have sworn by my great name, sayeth the LORD, that my name shall not be rehearsed thorow any man's mouth of Juda, in all the land of Egypt: to say: The Lord GOD(LORDE God) liveth,

27. మేలు చేయుటకు కాక కీడుచేయుటకే నేను వారిని కనిపెట్టుచున్నాను; వారు ఖడ్గముచేతనైనను క్షామముచేతనైనను క్షీణించిపోవుచు, ఐగుప్తుదేశములోనున్న యూదావారందరు శేషములేకుండ చత్తురు.

27. for I will watch, to plague them, and not for their wealth. And all the men of Judah that be in the land of Egypt, shall perish with the sword and with hunger, until they be utterly destroyed.

28. ఖడ్గము తప్పించుకొనువారు కొద్దిమందియై ఐగుప్తుదేశములో నుండి యూదాదేశమునకు తిరిగి వచ్చెదరు, అప్పడు ఐగుప్తుదేశములో కాపురముండుటకు వెళ్లిన యూదా వారిలో శేషము ఎవరి మాట నిలకడగా నుండునో, నాదో తమదో అది తెలిసికొందురు.

28. Nevertheless, those that fled away for the sword, shall come again into the land of Judah, but there shall be very few of them. And all the remnant of Judah, that are gone into Egypt, there to dwell, shall know whose words shall be found true: theirs or mine.

29. మీకు కీడు సంభవించు నట్లుగా నా మాటలు నిశ్చయముగా నిలుచునని మీకు తెలియబడుటకును, నేను ఈ స్థలమందు మిమ్మును శిక్షించు చున్నందుకును ఇది మీకు సూచనగా నుండును; ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు.

29. Take this for a token, that I will visit you in this place, sayeth the LORD, and that ye may know, how that I (without doubt) will perform my purpose upon you to punish you.

30. అతనికి శత్రువై అతని ప్రాణమును తీయ జూచుచుండిన నెబుకద్రెజరను బబులోను రాజుచేతికి నేను యూదారాజైన సిద్కియాను అప్పగించినట్లు ఐగుప్తురాజైన ఫరోహొఫ్రను అతని శత్రువులై అతని ప్రాణమును తీయజూచువారి చేతికి అప్పగించెదను.

30. Behold, sayeth the LORD, I will deliver Pharao Hophrea king of Egypt into the hands of his enemies, that seek after his life: even as I gave Zedekiah the king of Judah into the hands of Nabuchodonosor king of Babylon, which sought after his life.
