1. అన్యజనులనుగూర్చి ప్రవక్తయైన యిర్మీయాకు ప్రత్యక్షమైన యెహోవా వాక్కు

1. The LORD spoke to me about the nations,

2. ఐగుప్తునుగూర్చిన మాట, అనగా యోషీయా కుమారుడును యూదారాజునైన యెహోయాకీము ఏలుబడియందు నాలుగవ సంవత్సరమున నెబుకద్రెజరు కర్కెమీషులో యూఫ్రటీసునదిదగ్గర ఓడించిన ఫరోనెకో దండును గూర్చిన మాట.

2. beginning with Egypt. This is what he said about the army of King Neco of Egypt, which King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylonia defeated at Carchemish near the Euphrates River in the fourth year that Jehoiakim was king of Judah:

3. డాలును కేడెమును స్థిరపరచుకొనుడి యుద్ధమునకు రండి

3. The Egyptian officers shout, 'Get your shields ready and march into battle!

4. గుఱ్ఱములను కట్టుడి, రౌతులారా, కవచము తొడిగి ఎక్కుడి శిరస్త్రాణములను ధరించుకొనుడి ఈటెలకు పదును పెట్టుడి కవచములు వేసికొనుడి.

4. Harness your horses and mount them! Fall in line and put on your helmets! Sharpen your spears! Put on your armor!'

5. నాకేమి కనబడుచున్నది? వారు ఓడిపోవుచున్నారు వెనుకతీయుచున్నారు వారి బలాఢ్యులు అపజయము నొందుచున్నారు తిరిగిచూడక వేగిరముగా పారిపోవుచున్నారు ఎటుచూచిన భయమే; యెహోవా మాట యిదే.

5. 'But what do I see?' asks the LORD. 'They are turning back in terror. Their soldiers are beaten back; overcome with fear, they run as fast as they can and do not look back.

6. త్వరగ పరుగెత్తువారు పారిపోజాలకున్నారు బలాఢ్యులు తప్పించుకొనజాలకున్నారు ఉత్తరదిక్కున యూఫ్రటీసు నదీతీరమందు వారు తొట్రిల్లిపడుచున్నారు.

6. Those who run fast cannot get away; the soldiers cannot escape. In the north, by the Euphrates, they stumble and fall.

7. నైలునదీప్రవాహమువలె వచ్చు నితడెవడు? ఇతని జలములు నదులవలె ప్రవహించుచున్నవి

7. Who is this that rises like the Nile, like a river flooding its banks?

8. ఐగుప్తీయుల దండు నైలునదివలె ప్రవహించుచున్నది. దాని జలములు తొణకునట్లుగా అది వచ్చుచున్నది. నేనెక్కి భూమిని కప్పెదనుపట్టణమును దాని నివాసులను నాశనము చేసెదను.

8. It is Egypt, rising like the Nile, like a river flooding its banks. Egypt said, 'I will rise and cover the world; I will destroy cities and the people who live there.

9. గుఱ్ఱములారా, యెగురుడి; రథములారా, రేగుడి బలాఢ్యులారా, బయలుదేరుడి డాళ్లు పట్టుకొను కూషీయులును పూతీయులును విలుకాండ్రైన లూదీయులును బయలుదేరవలెను.

9. Command the horses to go and the chariots to roll! Send out the soldiers: men from Ethiopia and Libya, carrying shields, and skilled archers from Lydia.' '

10. ఇది ప్రభువును సైన్యములకధిపతియునగు యెహోవాకు పగతీర్చు దినము. ఆయన తన శత్రువులకు ప్రతిదండనచేయును ఖడ్గము కడుపార తినును, అది తనివితీర రక్తము త్రాగును. ఉత్తర దేశములో యూఫ్రటీసునదియొద్ద ప్రభువును సైన్యముల కధిపతియునగు యెహోవా బలి జరి గింప బోవుచున్నాడు.

10. This is the day of the Sovereign LORD Almighty: today he will take revenge; today he will punish his enemies. His sword will eat them until it is full, and drink their blood until it is satisfied. Today the Almighty sacrifices his victims in the north, by the Euphrates.

11. ఐగుప్తుకుమారీ, కన్యకా, గిలాదునకు వెళ్లి గుగ్గిలము తెచ్చుకొనుము విస్తారమైన ఔషధములు తెచ్చుకొనుట వ్యర్థమే నీకు చికిత్స కలుగదు

11. People of Egypt, go to Gilead and look for medicine! All your medicine has proved useless; nothing can heal you.

12. నీకు సిగ్గుకలిగిన సంగతి జనములకు వినబడెను నీ రోదనధ్వని దేశమందంతట వినబడుచున్నది బలాఢ్యులు బలాఢ్యులను తగిలి కూలుచున్నారు ఒకనిమీద ఒకడు పడి అందరు కూలుదురు.

12. Nations have heard of your shame; everyone has heard you cry. One soldier trips over another, and both of them fall to the ground.

13. బబులోనురాజైన నెబుకద్రెజరు బయలుదేరి వచ్చి ఐగుప్తీయులను హతముచేయుటను గూర్చి యిర్మీయాకు ప్రత్యక్షమైన యెహోవా వాక్కు.

13. When King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylonia came to attack Egypt, the LORD spoke to me. He said,

14. ఐగుప్తులో తెలియజేయుడి మిగ్దోలులో ప్రకటింపుడి నొపులోను తహపనేసులోను ప్రకటనచేయుడి ఏమనగాఖడ్గము నీ చుట్టునున్న ప్రదేశములను మింగివేయుచున్నది మీరు లేచి ధైర్యము తెచ్చుకొనుడి.

14. Proclaim it in the towns of Egypt, in Migdol, Memphis, and Tahpanhes: 'Get ready to defend yourselves; all you have will be destroyed in war!

15. నీలో బలవంతులైన వారేల తుడుపు పెట్టబడు చున్నారు? యెహోవా వారిని తోలివేయుచున్నాడు గనుకనే వారు నిలువకున్నారు.

15. Why has your mighty god Apis fallen? The LORD has struck him down!'

16. ఆయన అనేకులను తొట్రిల్ల జేయుచున్నాడు వారొకనిమీద ఒకడు కూలుచు లెండి, క్రూరమైన ఖడ్గమును తప్పించుకొందము రండి మన స్వజనులయొద్దకు మన జన్మభూమికి వెళ్లుదము రండి అని వారు చెప్పుకొందురు.

16. Your soldiers have stumbled and fallen; each one says to the other, 'Hurry! Let's go home to our people and escape the enemy's sword!'

17. ఐగుప్తురాజగు ఫరో యుక్తసమయము పోగొట్టుకొను వాడనియు వట్టిధ్వని మాత్రమేయని వారచ్చట చాటించిరి.

17. 'Give the king of Egypt a new name--- 'Noisy Braggart Who Missed His Chance.'

18. పర్వతములలో తాబోరు ఎట్టిదో సముద్రప్రాంతములలో కర్మెలు ఎట్టిదో నా జీవముతోడు అతడు అట్టివాడై వచ్చును రాజును సైన్యములకధిపతియునగు యెహోవా వాక్కు ఇదే.

18. I, the LORD Almighty, am king. I am the living God. As Mount Tabor towers above the mountains and Mount Carmel stands high above the sea, so will be the strength of the one who attacks you.

19. ఐగుప్తు నివాసులారా, నొపు పాడైపోవును అది నిర్జనమై కాల్చబడును ప్రయాణమునకు కావలసినవాటిని సిద్ధపరచుకొనుడి.

19. Get ready to be taken prisoner, you people of Egypt! Memphis will be made a desert, a ruin where no one lives.

20. ఐగుప్తు అందమైన పెయ్య ఉత్తరదిక్కుననుండి జోరీగ వచ్చుచున్నది వచ్చే యున్నది.

20. Egypt is like a splendid cow, attacked by a stinging fly from the north.

21. పరదేశులైన ఆమె కూలి సిఫాయిలు పెంపుడు దూడల వలె ఉన్నారు వారేగదా వెనుకతట్టు తిరిగిరి యొకడును నిలువకుండ పారిపోయిరి వారికి ఆపద్దినము వచ్చియున్నది శిక్షాదినము వారికాసన్నమాయెను.

21. Even her hired soldiers are helpless as calves. They did not stand and fight; all of them turned and ran. The day of their doom had arrived, the time of their destruction.

22. శత్రువులు దండెత్తి వచ్చుచున్నారు మ్రానులు నరుకువారివలె గొడ్డండ్లు పట్టుకొని దాని మీదికి వచ్చుచున్నారు ఆలకించుడి ఆమె ధ్వని ప్రాకిపోవు పాము చప్పుడు వలె వినబడుచున్నది యెహోవా వాక్కు ఇదే

22. Egypt runs away, hissing like a snake, as the enemy's army approaches. They attack her with axes, like people cutting down trees

23. లెక్కలేనివారై మిడతలకన్న విస్తరింతురు చొర శక్యముకాని ఆమె అరణ్యమును నరికివేయు దురు.

23. and destroying a thick forest. Their soldiers are too many to count; they outnumber the locusts.

24. ఐగుప్తు కూమారి అవమానపరచబడును ఉత్తరదేశస్థులకు ఆమె అప్పగింపబడును

24. The people of Egypt are put to shame; they are conquered by the people of the north. I, the LORD, have spoken.'

25. ఇశ్రాయేలు దేవుడును సైన్యములకధిపతియునగు యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు నోలోనుండు ఆమోను దేవతను ఫరోను ఐగుప్తును దాని దేవతలను దాని రాజులను ఫరోను అతని నాశ్రయించువారిని నేను దండించు చున్నాను.

25. The LORD Almighty, the God of Israel, says, 'I am going to punish Amon, the god of Thebes, together with Egypt and its gods and kings. I am going to take the king of Egypt and all who put their trust in him,

26. వారి ప్రాణము తీయజూచు బబులోనురాజైన నెబుకద్రెజరు చేతికిని అతని సేవకులచేతికిని వారిని అప్పగించుచున్నాను ఆ తరువాత అది మునుపటివలెనే నివాసస్థలమగును ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు.

26. and hand them over to those who want to kill them, to King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylonia and his army. But later on, people will live in Egypt again, as they did in times past. I, the LORD, have spoken.

27. నా సేవకుడవైన యాకోబూ, భయపడకుము ఇశ్రాయేలూ, జడియకుము దూరములోనుండి నిన్ను రక్షించుచున్నాను వారున్న చెరలోనుండి నీ సంతతివారిని రక్షించుచున్నాను ఎవరి భయమును లేకుండ యాకోబు తిరిగివచ్చును అతడు నిమ్మళించి నెమ్మదినొందును.

27. 'My people, do not be afraid, people of Israel, do not be terrified. I will rescue you from that faraway land, from the land where you are prisoners. You will come back home and live in peace; you will be secure, and no one will make you afraid.

28. నా సేవకుడవైన యాకోబు, నేను నీకు తోడై యున్నాను భయపడకుము నేనెక్కడికి నిన్ను చెదరగొట్టితినో ఆ సమస్త దేశప్రజలను సమూల నాశనము చేసెదను అయితే నిన్ను సమూల నాశనము చేయను నిన్ను శిక్షింపక విడువను గాని న్యాయమునుబట్టి నిన్ను శిక్షించెదను ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు.

28. I will come to you and save you. I will destroy all the nations where I have scattered you, but I will not destroy you. I will not let you go unpunished; but when I punish you, I will be fair. I, the LORD, have spoken.'
