1. మోయాబును గూర్చినది. ఇశ్రాయేలు దేవుడగు యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చు చున్నాడు. నెబోకు శ్రమ, అది పాడైపోవుచున్నది. కిర్యతాయిము పట్టబడినదై అవమానము నొందుచున్నది ఎత్తయిన కోట పడగొట్టబడినదై అవమానము నొందుచున్నది ఇకను మోయాబునకు ప్రసిద్ధియుండదు.

1. The LORD God of Israel who rules over all spoke about Moab. 'Sure to be judged is Nebo! Indeed, it will be destroyed! Kiriathaim will suffer disgrace. It will be captured! Its fortress will suffer disgrace. It will be torn down!

2. హెష్బోనులో వారు అది ఇకను జనము కాకపోవునట్లు దాని కొట్టివేయుదము రండని చెప్పుకొనుచు దానికి కీడు చేయ నుద్దేశించుచున్నారు మద్మేనా, నీవును ఏమియు చేయలేకపోతివి. ఖడ్గము నిన్ను తరుముచున్నది.

2. People will not praise Moab any more. The enemy will capture Heshbon and plot how to destroy Moab, saying, 'Come, let's put an end to that nation!' City of Madmen, you will also be destroyed. A destructive army will march against you.

3. ఆలకించుడి, హొరొనయీమునుండి రోదనధ్వని వినబడుచున్నది దోపుడు జరుగుచున్నది మహాపజయము సంభవించు చున్నది.

3. Cries of anguish will arise in Horonaim, 'Oh, the ruin and great destruction!'

4. మోయాబు రాజ్యము లయమై పోయెను దాని బిడ్డల రోదనధ్వని వినబడుచున్నది.

4. 'Moab will be crushed. Her children will cry out in distress.

5. హొరొనయీము దిగుదలలో పరాజితుల రోదనధ్వని వినబడుచున్నది జనులు లూహీతు నెక్కుచు ఏడ్చుచున్నారు ఏడ్చుచు ఎక్కుచున్నారు.

5. Indeed they will climb the slopes of Luhith, weeping continually as they go. For on the road down to Horonaim they will hear the cries of distress over the destruction.

6. పారిపోవుడి మీ ప్రాణములను దక్కించుకొనుడి అరణ్యములోని అరుహవృక్షమువలె ఉండుడి.

6. They will hear, 'Run! Save yourselves! Even if you must be like a lonely shrub in the desert!'

7. నీవు నీ క్రియలను ఆశ్రయించితివి నీ నిధులను నమ్ము కొంటివి నీవును పట్టుకొనబడెదవు, కెమోషుదేవత చెరలోనికి పోవును ఒకడు తప్పకుండ వాని యాజకులును అధిపతులును చెరలోనికి పోవుదురు.

7. 'Moab, you trust in the things you do and in your riches. So you too will be conquered. Your god Chemosh will go into exile along with his priests and his officials.

8. యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చునట్లు సంహారకుడు ప్రతి పట్టణముమీదికి వచ్చును ఏ పట్టణమును తప్పించుకొనజాలదు లోయకూడ నశించును మైదానము పాడైపోవును.

8. The destroyer will come against every town. Not one town will escape. The towns in the valley will be destroyed. The cities on the high plain will be laid waste. I, the LORD, have spoken!

9. మోయాబునకు రెక్కలు పెట్టుడి అది వేగిరముగా బయలుదేరి పోవలెను. నివాసి యెవడును లేకుండ దాని పట్టణములు పాడగును.

9. Set up a gravestone for Moab, for it will certainly be laid in ruins! Its cities will be laid waste and become uninhabited.'

10. యెహోవా కార్యమును అశ్రద్ధగా చేయువాడు శాపగ్రస్తు డగును గాక రక్తము ఓడ్చకుండ ఖడ్డము దూయువాడు శాపగ్రస్తు డగును గాక.

10. A curse on anyone who is lax in doing the LORD's work! A curse on anyone who keeps from carrying out his destruction!

11. మోయాబు తన బాల్యమునుండి నెమ్మది నొందెను ఈ కుండలోనుండి ఆ కుండలోనికి కుమ్మరింపబడకుండ అది మడ్డిమీద నిలిచెను అదెన్నడును చెరలోనికి పోయినది కాదు అందుచేత దాని సారము దానిలో నిలిచియున్నది దాని వాసన ఎప్పటివలెనే నిలుచుచున్నది.

11. 'From its earliest days Moab has lived undisturbed. It has never been taken into exile. Its people are like wine allowed to settle undisturbed on its dregs, never poured out from one jar to another. They are like wine which tastes like it always did, whose aroma has remained unchanged.

12. యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు రాగల దినములలో నేను దానియొద్దకు కుమ్మరించు వారిని పంపెదను. వారు దాని కుమ్మరించి దాని పాత్రలను వెలితిచేసివారి జాడీలను పగులగొట్టెదరు.

12. But the time is coming when I will send men against Moab who will empty it out. They will empty the towns of their people, then will lay those towns in ruins. I, the LORD, affirm it!

13. ఇశ్రాయేలువారు తామాశ్రయించిన బేతేలునుబట్టి సిగ్గుపడినట్లు మోయాబీయులును కెమోషునుబట్టి సిగ్గుపడుచున్నారు

13. The people of Moab will be disappointed by their god Chemosh. They will be as disappointed as the people of Israel were when they put their trust in the calf god at Bethel.

14. మేము బలాఢ్యులమనియు యుద్ధశూరులమనియు మీరెట్లు చెప్పుకొందురు?

14. How can you men of Moab say, 'We are heroes, men who are mighty in battle?'

15. మోయాబు పాడైపోవుచున్నది శత్రువులు దాని పట్టణములలో చొరబడుచున్నారు వారి యౌవనులలో శ్రేష్ఠులు వధకు పోవుచున్నారు సైన్యములకధిపతియగు యెహోవా అను పేరుగల రాజు సెలవిచ్చినమాట యిదే.

15. Moab will be destroyed. Its towns will be invaded. Its finest young men will be slaughtered. I, the King, the LORD who rules over all, affirm it!

16. మోయాబునకు సమూలనాశనము సమీపించుచున్నది దానికి సంభవించు దుఃఖము త్వరపడి వచ్చుచున్నది.

16. Moab's destruction is at hand. Disaster will come on it quickly.

17. దానిచుట్టునున్న మీరందరు దానినిగూర్చి అంగలార్చుడి దాని కీర్తినిగూర్చి విననివారలారా, అంగలార్చుడి బలమైన రాజదండము ప్రభావముగల రాజదండము విరిగిపోయెనే యని చెప్పుకొనుడి.

17. Mourn for that nation, all you nations living around it, all of you nations that know of its fame. Mourn and say, 'Alas, its powerful influence has been broken! Its glory and power have been done away!'

18. దేబోనులో ఆసీనురాలై యుండుదానా, మోయాబును పాడుచేసినవాడు నీ మీదికి వచ్చు చున్నాడు. నీ కోటలను నశింపజేయుచున్నాడు. నీ గొప్పతనము విడిచి దిగిరమ్ముఎండినదేశములో కూర్చుండుము.

18. Come down from your place of honor; sit on the dry ground, you who live in Dibon. For the one who will destroy Moab will attack you; he will destroy your fortifications.

19. ఆరోయేరు నివాసీ, త్రోవలో నిలిచి కనిపెట్టుము పారిపోవుచున్న వారియొద్ద విచారించుము తప్పించుకొనిపోవుచున్నవారిని అడుగుము ఏమి జరిగినదో వారివలన తెలిసికొనుము.

19. You who live in Aroer, stand by the road and watch. Question the man who is fleeing and the woman who is escaping. Ask them, 'What has happened?'

20. మోయాబు పడగొట్టబడినదై అవమానము నొంది యున్నది గోలయెత్తి కేకలువేయుము మోయాబు అపజయము నొందెను. అర్నోనులో ఈ సంగతి తెలియజెప్పుడి

20. They will answer, 'Moab is disgraced, for it has fallen! Wail and cry out in mourning! Announce along the Arnon River that Moab has been destroyed.'

21. మైదానములోని దేశమునకు శిక్ష విధింపబడియున్నది హోలోనునకును యాహసునకును మేఫాతునకును దీబోనుకును

21. 'Judgment will come on the cities on the high plain: on Holon, Jahzah, and Mephaath,

22. నెబోకును బేత్‌దిబ్లాతయీమునకును కిర్యతాయిమున కును బేత్గామూలునకును

22. on Dibon, Nebo, and Beth Diblathaim,

23. బేత్మెయోనునకును కెరీయోతునకును బొస్రాకును దూరమైనట్టియు సమీపమైనట్టియు

23. on Kiriathaim, Beth Gamul, and Beth Meon,

24. మోయాబుదేశ పురములన్నిటికిని శిక్ష విధింపబడి యున్నది.

24. on Kerioth and Bozrah. It will come on all the towns of Moab, both far and near.

25. మోయాబు శృంగము నరికివేయబడియున్నది దాని బాహువు విరువబడియున్నది యెహోవా వాక్కు ఇదే.

25. Moab's might will be crushed. Its power will be broken. I, the LORD, affirm it!

26. మోయాబు యెహోవాకు విరోధముగా తన్ను తాను గొప్పచేసికొనెను దాని మత్తిల్లజేయుడి మోయాబు తన వమనములో పొర్లుచున్నది అది అపహాస్యమునొందును.

26. 'Moab has vaunted itself against me. So make him drunk with the wine of my wrath until he splashes around in his own vomit, until others treat him as a laughingstock.

27. ఇశ్రాయేలును నీవు అపహాస్యాస్పదముగా ఎంచలేదా? అతడు దొంగలకు జతగాడైనట్టుగా నీవు అతనిగూర్చి పలుకునప్పుడెల్ల తల ఆడించుచు వచ్చితివి

27. For did not you people of Moab laugh at the people of Israel? Did you think that they were nothing but thieves, that you shook your head in contempt every time you talked about them?

28. మోయాబు నివాసులారా, పట్టణములు విడువుడి కొండపేటు సందులలో గూడు కట్టుకొను గువ్వలవలె కొండలో కాపురముండుడి.

28. Leave your towns, you inhabitants of Moab. Go and live in the cliffs. Be like a dove that makes its nest high on the sides of a ravine.

29. మోయోబీయుల గర్వమునుగూర్చి వింటిమి, వారు బహు గర్వపోతులు వారి అతిశయమునుగూర్చియు గర్వమునుగూర్చియు

29. I have heard how proud the people of Moab are, I know how haughty they are. I have heard how arrogant, proud, and haughty they are, what a high opinion they have of themselves.

30. అహంకారమునుగూర్చియు పొగరునుగూర్చియు మాకు సమాచారము వచ్చెను వారి తామసమును వచించరాని వారి ప్రగల్భములును నాకు తెలిసేయున్నవి చేయదగని క్రియలు వారు బహుగా చేయుచున్నారు ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు

30. I, the LORD, affirm that I know how arrogant they are. But their pride is ill-founded. Their boastings will prove to be false.

31. కాబట్టి మోయాబు నిమిత్తము నేను అంగలార్చు చున్నాను మోయాబు అంతటిని చూచి కేకలు వేయుచున్నాను వారు కీర్హరెశు జనులు లేకపోయిరని మొఱ్ఱపెట్టుచున్నారు.

31. So I will weep with sorrow for Moab. I will cry out in sadness for all of Moab. I will moan for the people of Kir Heres.

32. సిబ్మా ద్రాక్షవల్లీ, యాజెరునుగూర్చిన యేడ్పును మించునట్లు నేను నిన్నుగూర్చి యేడ్చుచున్నాను నీ తీగెలు ఈ సముద్రమును దాటి వ్యాపించెను అవి యాజెరుసముద్రమువరకు వ్యాపించెను నీ వేసవికాల ఫలములమీదను ద్రాక్షగెలలమీదను పాడుచేయువాడు పడెను.

32. I will weep for the grapevines of Sibmah just like the town of Jazer weeps over them. Their branches once spread as far as the Dead Sea. They reached as far as the town of Jazer. The destroyer will ravage her fig, date, and grape crops.

33. ఫలభరితమైన పొలములోనుండియు మోయాబు దేశములోనుండియు ఆనందమును సంతోషమును తొలగిపోయెను ద్రాక్షగానుగలలో ద్రాక్షారసమును లేకుండ చేయు చున్నాను జనులు సంతోషించుచు త్రొక్కరు సంతోషము నిస్సంతోషమాయెను.

33. Joy and gladness will disappear from the fruitful land of Moab. I will stop the flow of wine from the winepresses. No one will stomp on the grapes there and shout for joy. The shouts there will be shouts of soldiers, not the shouts of those making wine.

34. నిమీములో నీళ్లు సహితము ఎండిపోయెను హెష్బోను మొదలుకొని ఏలాలేవరకును యాహసు వరకును సోయరు మొదలుకొని హొరొనయీమువరకును ఎగ్లాత్షాలిషావరకును జనులు కేకలువేయుచున్నారు.

34. Cries of anguish raised from Heshbon and Elealeh will be sounded as far as Jahaz. They will be sounded from Zoar as far as Horonaim and Eglath Shelishiyah. For even the waters of Nimrim will be dried up.

35. ఉన్నతస్థలమున బలులు అర్పించువారిని దేవతలకు ధూపమువేయువారిని మోయాబులో లేకుండజేసెను ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు.

35. I will put an end in Moab to those who make offerings at her places of worship. I will put an end to those who sacrifice to other gods. I, the LORD, affirm it!

36. వారు సంపాదించినదానిలో శేషించినది నశించి పోయెను మోయాబునుగూర్చి నా గుండె పిల్లనగ్రోవివలె నాదము చేయుచున్నది కీర్హరెశువారినిగూర్చి నా గుండె పిల్లనగ్రోవివలె వాగు చున్నది.

36. So my heart moans for Moab like a flute playing a funeral song. Yes, like a flute playing a funeral song, my heart moans for the people of Kir Heres. For the wealth they have gained will perish.

37. నిశ్చయముగా ప్రతి తల బోడియాయెను ప్రతి గడ్డము గొరిగింపబడెను చేతులన్నిటిమీద నరుకులును నడుములమీద గోనెపట్టయు నున్నవి.

37. For all of them will shave their heads in mourning. They will all cut off their beards to show their sorrow. They will all make gashes in their hands. They will all put on sackcloth.

38. మోయాబు ఇంటి పైకప్పులన్నిటిమీదను దాని వీధులలోను అంగలార్పు వినబడుచున్నది ఒకడు పనికిమాలిన ఘటమును పగులగొట్టునట్లు నేను మోయాబును పగులగొట్టుచున్నాను ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు.

38. On all the housetops in Moab and in all its public squares there will be nothing but mourning. For I will break Moab like an unwanted jar. I, the LORD, affirm it!

39. అంగలార్చుడి మోయాబు సమూలధ్వంసమాయెను మోయాబూ, నీవు వెనుకకు తిరిగితివే, సిగ్గుపడుము. మోయాబు తన చుట్టునున్న వారికందరికి అపహాస్యాస్పదముగాను భయకారణముగాను ఉండును.

39. Oh, how shattered Moab will be! Oh, how her people will wail! Oh, how she will turn away in shame! Moab will become an object of ridicule, a terrifying sight to all the nations that surround her.'

40. యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చునదేమనగా పక్షిరాజు ఎగురునట్లు ఎగిరి అది మోయాబు మీద తన రెక్కలను చాపుచున్నది.

40. For the LORD says, 'Look! Like an eagle with outspread wings a nation will swoop down on Moab.

41. కోటలు పడగొట్టబడియున్నవి దుర్గములు పట్టబడి యున్నవి. ఆ దినమున మోయాబు శూరుల హృదయము ప్రసవించు స్త్రీ హృదయమువలె ఉండును.

41. Her towns will be captured. Her fortresses will be taken. At that time the soldiers of Moab will be frightened like a woman in labor.

42. మోయాబు యెహోవాకంటె గొప్పవాడనని అతిశయపడగా అది జనము కాకుండ నిర్మూలమాయెను.

42. Moab will be destroyed and no longer be a nation, because she has vaunted herself against the LORD.

43. మోయాబు నివాసీ, భయమును గుంటయు ఉరియు నీమీదికి వచ్చియున్నవి

43. Terror, pits, and traps are in store for the people who live in Moab. I, the LORD, affirm it!

44. ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు. భయము తప్పించుకొనుటకై పారిపోవువారు గుంటలో పడుదురు గుంటలోనుండి తప్పించుకొనువారు ఉరిలో చిక్కు కొందురు మోయాబుమీదికి విమర్శ సంవత్సరమును నేను రప్పించుచున్నాను ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు. దేశ పరిత్యాగులగువారు బలహీనులై హెష్బోనునీడలో నిలిచియున్నారు.

44. Anyone who flees at the sound of terror will fall into a pit. Anyone who climbs out of the pit will be caught in a trap. For the time is coming when I will punish the people of Moab. I, the LORD, affirm it!

45. హెష్బోనులోనుండి అగ్నియు సీహోను మధ్యనుండి జ్వాలలును బయలుదేరి

45. In the shadows of the walls of Heshbon those trying to escape will stand helpless. For a fire will burst forth from Heshbon. Flames will shoot out from the former territory of Sihon. They will burn the foreheads of the people of Moab, the skulls of those war-loving people.

46. మోయాబు శిరస్సును, సందడిచేయువారి నడినెత్తిని కాల్చివేయుచున్నవి. మోయాబూ, నీకు శ్రమ కెమోషుజనులు నశించియున్నారు నీ కుమారులు చెరపట్టబడిరి చెరపట్టబడినవారిలో నీ కుమార్తెలున్నారు.

46. Moab, you are doomed! You people who worship Chemosh will be destroyed. Your sons will be taken away captive. Your daughters will be carried away into exile.

47. అయితే అంత్యదినములలో చెరపట్టబడిన మోయాబు వారిని నేను తిరిగి రప్పించెదను ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు. ఇంతటితో మోయాబునుగూర్చిన శిక్షావిధి ముగిసెను.

47. Yet in days to come I will reverse Moab's ill fortune.' says the LORD. The judgment against Moab ends here.
