1. This word came to Yirmeyahu from ADONAI:

2. నీవు యెహోవా మందిర ద్వారమున నిలువ బడి ఈ మాట అచ్చటనే ప్రకటింపుము యెహోవాకు నమస్కారముచేయుటకై యీ ద్వారములలో బడి ప్రవేశించు యూదావారలారా, యెహోవా మాట వినుడి.

2. 'Stand at the gate of the house of ADONAI and proclaim this word: 'Listen to the word of ADONAI, all you from Y'hudah who enter these gates to worship ADONAI!

3. సైన్యములకధిపతియు ఇశ్రాయేలుయొక్క దేవుడునగు యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు నేను ఈ స్థలమున మిమ్మును నివసింపజేయునట్లు మీ మార్గములను మీ క్రియలను దిద్దుకొనుడి

3. Here is what ADONAI-[Tzva'ot], the God of Isra'el, says: 'Improve your ways and actions, and I will let you stay in this place.

4. ఈ స్థలము యెహోవా ఆలయము, ఈ స్థలము యెహోవా ఆలయము, ఈ స్థలము యెహోవా ఆలయము అని మీరు చెప్పుకొనుచున్నారే; యీ మోసకరమైన మాటలు ఆధారము చేసికొనకుడి.

4. Don't rely on that deceitful slogan, 'The temple of ADONAI, the temple of [ADONAI-] these [[buildings]] are the temple of ADONAI.'

5. ఆలాగనక, మీ మార్గములను మీ క్రియలను మీరు యథార్థముగా చక్కపరచుకొని, ప్రతివాడు తన పొరుగు వానియెడల తప్పక న్యాయము జరిగించి.

5. No, but if you really improve your ways and actions; if you really administer justice between people;

6. పరదేశులను తండ్రిలేని వారిని విధవరాండ్రను బాధింపకయు ఈ చోట నిర్దోషిరక్తము చిందింపకయు, మీకు కీడు కలుగజేయు అన్యదేవతలను అనుసరింపకయు నుండినయెడల

6. if you stop oppressing foreigners, orphans and widows; if you stop shedding innocent blood in this place; and if you stop following other gods, to your own harm;

7. ఈ స్థలమున తమకు నిత్యముగా నుండుటకై పూర్వకాలమున నేను మీ పితరులకిచ్చిన దేశమున మిమ్మును కాపురముంచుదును.

7. then I will let you stay in this place, in the land I gave to your ancestors forever and ever.

8. ఇదిగో అబద్ధపుమాటలను మీరు నమ్ముకొను చున్నారు. అవి మీకు నిష్‌ప్రయోజనములు.

8. Look! You are relying on deceitful words that can't do you any good.

9. ఇదేమి? మీరు జారచోర క్రియలను నరహత్యను చేయుచు

9. First you steal, murder, commit adultery, swear falsely, offer to Ba'al and go after other gods that you haven't known.

10. అబద్ధసాక్ష్యము పలుకుచు బయలునకు ధూపమువేయుచు మీరెరుగని దేవతలను అనుసరించుచున్నారే; అయినను నా నామము పెట్టబడిన యీ మందిరములోనికి వచ్చి నా సన్నిధిని నిలుచుచు విడుదలనొందియున్నామని మీరు చెప్పుదురు; ఈ హేయక్రియలన్నియు జరిగించుటకేనా మీరు విడుదలనొందితిరి?

10. Then you come and stand before me in this house that bears my name and say, 'We are saved'- so that you can go on doing these abominations!

11. నాదని చాటబడిన యీ మంది రము మీ దృష్టికి దొంగలగుహయైనదా? ఆలోచించుడి, నేనే యీ సంగతి కనుగొనుచున్నాను. ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు.

11. Do you regard this house, which bears my name, as a cave for bandits? I can see for myself what's going on,' says ADONAI.

12. పూర్వమున నేను నా నామము నిలిపిన షిలోహునందున్న నా స్థలమునకు పోయి విచారణ చేయుడి, ఇశ్రాయేలీయులైన నా జనుల దుష్టత్వమును బట్టి నేను దానికి చేసిన కార్యము చూడుడి; ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు.

12. 'Go to the place in Shiloh that used to be mine, that used to bear my name, and see what I did to it because of the wickedness of my people Isra'el.

13. నేను మీతో మాటలాడినను పెందలకడ లేచి మీతో మాటలాడినను మీరు వినకయు, మిమ్మును పిలిచినను మీరు ఉత్తరమియ్యకయు నుండినవారై యీ క్రియలన్నిటిని చేసితిరి గనుక

13. I spoke to you again and again, but you wouldn't listen. I called you, but you wouldn't answer. Now,' says ADONAI, 'because you have done all these things,

14. నేను షిలోహునకు చేసినట్లు మీకు ఆశ్రయమై నా నామముపెట్టబడిన యీ మందిరమునకును మీకును మీ తండ్రులకును నేనిచ్చిన స్థలమునకును నేను ఆలాగే చేయుదును.

14. I will do to the house that bears my name, on which you rely, and to the place I gave you and your ancestors, what I did to Shiloh;

15. ఎఫ్రాయిము సంతానమగు మీ సహోదరులనందరిని నేను వెళ్లగొట్టినట్లు మిమ్మును నా సన్నిధినుండి వెళ్లగొట్టుదును.

15. and I will drive you out of my presence, just as I drove out all your kinsmen, all the descendants of Efrayim.''

16. కాబట్టి నీవు ఈ జనము కొరకు ప్రార్థనచేయకుము, వారికొరకు మొఱ్ఱ నైనను ప్రార్థననైనను చేయకుము, నన్ను బతిమాలుకొనకుము, నేను నీ మాట వినను.

16. 'So you, [[Yirmeyahu,]] don't pray for this people! Don't cry, pray or intercede on their behalf with me; because I won't listen to you.

17. యూదాపట్టణములలోను యెరూషలేము వీధులలోను వారు చేయుచున్న క్రియలను నీవు చూచుచున్నావు గదా.

17. Don't you see what they are doing in the cities of Y'hudah and in the streets of Yerushalayim?

18. నాకు కోపము పుట్టించునట్లు ఆకాశరాణి దేవతకు పిండివంటలు చేయవలెననియు, అన్య దేవతలకు పానార్పణములు పోయవలెననియు పిల్లలు కట్టెలు ఏరుచున్నారు తండ్రులు అగ్ని రాజ బెట్టుచున్నారు స్త్రీలు పిండి పిసుకుచున్నారు.

18. The children gather the wood, the fathers light the fire, and the women knead the dough to make cakes for the queen of heaven; and, just to provoke me, they pour out drink offerings to other gods!

19. నాకే కోపము పుట్టించునంతగా వారు దాని చేయుచున్నారా? తమకే అవమానము కలుగు నంతగా చేయుచున్నారు గదా, యిదే యెహోవా వాక్కు.

19. Are they really provoking me,' asks ADONAI, 'or are they provoking themselves, to their own ruin?'

20. అందువలన ప్రభువగు యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు ఈ స్థలముమీదను నరులమీదను జంతువులమీదను పొలముల చెట్లమీదను భూమిపంట మీదను నా కోపమును నా ఉగ్రతను కుమ్మరించెదను, ఆర్పశక్యము కాకుండ అది మండును.

20. Therefore, here is what [Adonai ELOHIM] says: 'My anger and fury will be poured out on this place, on men, animals, trees in the fields and produce growing from the ground; and it will burn without being quenched.'

21. సైన్యములకధిపతియు ఇశ్రాయేలు దేవుడునగు యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు మీ దహన బలులను మీ బలులను కలిపి మాంసము భక్షించుడి.

21. Thus says ADONAI-[Tzva'ot], the God of Isra'el: 'You may as well eat the meat of your burnt offerings along with that of your sacrifices.

22. నేను ఐగుప్తు దేశములోనుండి మీ పితరులను రప్పించిన దినమున దహనబలులనుగూర్చిగాని బలులనుగూర్చిగాని నేను వారితో చెప్పలేదు, అట్టి వాటినిగూర్చి నేను ఏ ఆజ్ఞయు ఇయ్యలేదు, ఈ ఆజ్ఞను మాత్రమే నేను వానికిచ్చి తిని

22. For I didn't speak to your ancestors or give them orders concerning burnt offerings or sacrifices when I brought them out of the land of Egypt.

23. ఏదనగానా మాటలు మీరు అంగీకరించినయెడల నేను మీకు దేవుడనై యుందును మీరు నాకు జనులై యుందురు; మీకు క్షేమము కలుగునట్లు నేను మీకాజ్ఞా పించుచున్న మార్గమంతటియందు మీరు నడుచుకొనుడి.

23. Rather, what I did order them was this: 'Pay attention to what I say. Then I will be your God, and you will be my people. In everything, live according to the way that I order you, so that things will go well for you.'

24. అయితే వారు వినకపోయిరి, చెవియొగ్గకుండిరి, ముందుకు సాగక వెనుకదీయుచు తమ ఆలోచనలనుబట్టి తమ దుష్ట హృదయకాఠిన్యము ననుసరించి నడుచుచు వచ్చిరి.

24. But they neither listened nor paid attention, but lived according to their own plans, in the stubbornness of their evil hearts, thus going backward and not forward.

25. మీ పితరులు ఐగుప్తు దేశములోనుండి బయలుదేరి వచ్చిన దినము మొదలుకొని నేటివరకు మీరు వెనుకదీయుచు వచ్చిన వారే; నేను అనుదినము పెందలకడ లేచి ప్రవక్తలైన నా సేవకులనందరిని మీ యొద్దకు పంపుచు వచ్చితిని.

25. You have done this from the day your ancestors came out of Egypt until today. Even though I sent you all my servants the prophets, sending them time after time,

26. వారు నా మాట వినకయున్నారు చెవియొగ్గకయున్నారు తమ మెడను వంచక మనస్సును కఠినపరచుకొనుచున్నారు; వారు తమ పితరులకంటె మరి దుష్టులైరి.

26. they would not listen or pay attention to me, but stiffened their necks; they did worse than their ancestors.

27. నీవు ఈ మాటలన్నియు వారితో చెప్పినను వారు నీ మాటలంగీకరింపరు, నీవు వారిని పిలిచినను వారు నీకుత్తరమియ్యరు

27. So tell them all this; but they won't listen to you; likewise, call to them; but they won't answer you.

28. గనుక నీవు వారితో ఈలాగు చెప్పుము - వీరు తమ దేవుడైన యెహోవా మాట విననివారు, శిక్షకు లోబడనొల్లనివారు, కాబట్టి నమ్మకము వారిలోనుండి తొలగిపోయియున్నది, అది వారి నోట నుండకుండ కొట్టి వేయబడియున్నది.

28. Therefore, say to them, 'This is the nation that has not listened to the voice of ADONAI their God. They won't take correction; faithfulness has perished; it has vanished from their mouths.

29. తనకు కోపము తెప్పించు తరమువారిని యెహోవా విసర్జించి వెళ్లగొట్టుచున్నాడు; సీయోనూ నీ తలవెండ్రు కలను కత్తిరించుకొనుము, వాటిని పారవేయుము, చెట్లులేని మెట్టలమీద ప్రలాపవాక్య మెత్తుము.

29. Cut off your hair, and throw it away, take up a lament on the bare hills, for ADONAI has rejected and abandoned the generation that rouses his anger.'

30. యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడుయూదా వారు నా దృష్టికి చెడ్డక్రియలు చేయుచున్నారు, నా నామముపెట్టబడిన మందిరము అపవిత్రపడునట్లు వారు దానిలో హేయ వస్తువులను ఉంచియున్నారు.

30. For the people of Y'hudah have done what is evil from my perspective,' says ADONAI; 'they have set up their detestable things in the house which bears my name, to defile it.

31. నేనాజ్ఞాపించని క్రియను నాకు తోచని క్రియను వారు చేసియున్నారు, అగ్నిలో తమ కుమారులను తమ కుమార్తెలను దహించుటకు బెన్‌ హిన్నోము లోయలోనున్న తోఫెతునందు బలిపీఠములను కట్టుకొనియున్నారు.

31. They have built the high places of Tofet in the Ben-Hinnom Valley, to burn their sons and daughters in the fire, something I never ordered; in fact, such a thing never even entered my mind!

32. కాలము సమీపించుచున్నది; అప్పుడు అది తోఫెతు అనియైనను బెన్‌హిన్నోము లోయ అనియైనను అనబడక వధలోయ అనబడును; పాతిపెట్టు టకు స్థలము లేకపోవువరకు తోఫెతులో శవములు పాతి పెట్టబడును; ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు.

32. Therefore, the days are coming,' says ADONAI, 'when it will no longer be called either Tofet or the Ben-Hinnom Valley, but the Valley of Slaughter- they will put the dead in Tofet, because there will be no space left [[anywhere else]].

33. ఈ జనుల శవములు ఆకాశపక్షులకును భూజంతువులకును ఆహారమగును, వాటిని తోలివేయువాడు లేకపోవును.

33. The corpses of this people will become food for the birds in the air and the wild animals; no one will frighten them away.

34. ఉల్లాస ధ్వనియు ఆనందధ్వనియు పెండ్లికుమారుని స్వరమును పెండ్లికుమార్తె స్వరమును యూదా పట్టణములలోను యెరూషలేము వీధులలోను లేకుండచేసెదను; ఈ దేశము తప్పక పాడైపోవును.

34. Then in the cities of Y'hudah and the streets of Yerushalayim I will silence the sounds of joy and gladness and the voices of bridegroom and bride; because the land will be reduced to ruins.
