1. పిమ్మట ఆత్మ నన్ను ఎత్తి యెహోవా మందిరపు తూర్పు గుమ్మము నొద్దకు చేర్చి నన్నుదింపగా గుమ్మపు వాకిట ఇరువదియైదుగురు మనుష్యులు కనబడిరి; వారిలో జనులకు ప్రధానులైన అజ్జూరు కుమారుడగు యజన్యాయు బెనాయా కుమారుడగు పెలట్యాయు నాకు కనబడిరి.

1. Then the Spirit picked me up and took me to the gate of the Temple that faces east. There were twenty-five men standing at the gate. I recognized the leaders, Jaazaniah son of Azzur and Pelatiah son of Benaiah.

2. అప్పుడాయన నాకీలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను నరపుత్రుడా యీ పట్టణము పచనపాత్రయనియు, మనము మాంసమనియు, ఇండ్లు కట్టుకొన అవసరములేదనియు చెప్పు కొనుచు

2. GOD said, 'Son of man, these are the men who draw up blueprints for sin, who think up new programs for evil in this city.

3. ఈ పట్ణణములో పాపము యోచించి దురాలోచన చేయువారు వీరే.

3. They say, 'We can make anything happen here. We're the best. We're the choice pieces of meat in the soup pot.'

4. కావున వారికి విరోధముగా ప్రవచింపుము; నరపుత్రుడా, ప్రవచింపుము.

4. 'Oppose them, son of man. Preach against them.'

5. అంతట యెహోవా ఆత్మ నామీదికి వచ్చి ఆజ్ఞ ఇచ్చిన దేమనగా నీవు నీ మాట వారికి తెలియజేయుము, యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చిన మాట యిదే ఇశ్రాయేలీయులారా, మీరీ లాగున పలుకుచున్నారే, మీ మనస్సున పుట్టిన అభిప్రాయములు నాకు తెలిసేయున్నవి.

5. Then the Spirit of GOD came upon me and told me what to say: 'This is what GOD says: 'That's a fine public speech, Israel, but I know what you are thinking.

6. ఈ పట్టణములో మీరు బహుగా హత్య జరిగించితిరి, మీచేత హతులైన వారితో వీధులు నిండియున్నవి.

6. You've murdered a lot of people in this city. The streets are piled high with corpses.'

7. కాబట్టి ప్రభువైన యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చునదేమనగా మీరు హతముచేసి పట్టణములో పడవేసిన శవములే మాంసము, ఈ పట్టణమే పచన పాత్ర, యీ పట్టణములోనుండి మిమ్మును వెళ్ల గొట్టుదును.

7. 'Therefore this is what GOD, the Master, says: 'The corpses that you've piled in the streets are the meat and this city is the soup pot, and you're not even in the pot! I'm throwing you out!

8. మీరు ఖడ్గమునకు భయపడుచున్నారే, నేనే మీమీదికి ఖడ్గము రప్పించెదను; ఇదే ప్రభువైన యెహోవా వాక్కు.

8. You fear war, but war is what you're going to get. I'm bringing war against you.

9. మరియు మీకు శిక్ష విధించి పట్టణములోనుండి మిమ్మును వెళ్లగొట్టి అన్యులచేతికి మిమ్మునప్పగించుదును.

9. I'm throwing you out of this city, giving you over to foreigners, and punishing you good.

10. ఇశ్రాయేలు సరిహద్దులలోగానే మీరు ఖడ్గముచేత కూలునట్లు నేను మీకు శిక్ష విధింపగా నేనే యెహోవానని మీరు తెలిసికొందురు.

10. You'll be killed in battle. I'll carry out judgment on you at the borders of Israel. Then you'll realize that I am GOD.

11. మీరు దాని మధ్య మాంసముగా ఉండునట్లు ఈ పట్టణము మీకు పచనపాత్రగా ఉండదు; నేను ఇశ్రాయేలు సరిహద్దుల యొద్దనే మీకు శిక్ష విధింతును.

11. This city will not be your soup pot and you won't be the choice pieces of meat in it either. Hardly. I will carry out judgment on you at the borders of Israel

12. అప్పుడు మీ చుట్టు నున్న అన్యజనుల విధుల నాచరించుటకై మీరు ఎవని కట్టడల ననుసరింపక మానితిరో యెవని విధులను ఆచరింపకపోతిరో, ఆ యెహోవానగు నేనే ఆయననని మీరు తెలిసికొందురు.

12. and you'll realize that I am GOD, for you haven't followed my statutes and ordinances. Instead of following my ways, you've sunk to the level of the laws of the nations around you.''

13. నేను ఆ ప్రకారము ప్రవచింపు చుండగా బెనాయా కుమారుడైన పెలట్యా చచ్చెను గనుక నేను సాష్టాంగపడి యెలుగెత్తి–అయ్యో, ప్రభువా, యెహోవా, ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల శేషమును నీవు నిర్మూలము చేయుదువా? అని మొఱ్ఱపెట్టితిని.

13. Even while I was preaching, Pelatiah son of Benaiah died. I fell down, face to the ground, and prayed loudly, 'O Master, GOD! Will you completely wipe out what's left of Israel?'

14. అప్పుడు యెహోవా వాక్కు నాకు ప్రత్యక్షమై యీలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను.

14. The answer from GOD came back:

15. నరపుత్రుడా, యెరూషలేము పట్టణపువారు ఈ దేశము మాకు స్వాస్థ్యముగా ఇయ్య బడెను, మీరు యెహోవాకు దూరస్థులుగా నుండుడి, అని యెవరితో చెప్పుచున్నారో వారందరు ఇశ్రాయేలీయులై నీకు సాక్షాద్బంధువులును నీచేత బంధుత్వధర్మము నొందవలసినవారునై యున్నారు.

15. 'Son of man, your brothers--I mean the whole people of Israel who are in exile with you--are the people of whom the citizens of Jerusalem are saying, 'They're in the far country, far from GOD. This land has been given to us to own.'

16. కాబట్టి వారికి ఈ మాట ప్రకటింపుము ప్రభువైన యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చునదేమనగా దూరముననున్న అన్యజనులలోనికి నేను వారిని తోలివేసినను, ఆ యా దేశములలో వారిని చెదరగొట్టినను, వారు వెళ్ళిన ఆ యా దేశములలో కొంతకాలము నేను వారికి పరిశుద్ధాలయముగా ఉందును.

16. 'Well, tell them this: 'This is your Message from GOD, the Master. True, I sent you to the far country and scattered you through other lands. All the same, I've provided you a temporary sanctuary in the countries where you've gone.

17. కాగా నీవు ఈ మాట ప్రకటింపుము ప్రభువైన యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చున దేమనగా ఆ యా జనముల మధ్యనుండి నేను మిమ్మును సమకూర్చి, మీరు చెదరగొట్టబడిన దేశములలో నుండి మిమ్మును రప్పించి, ఇశ్రాయేలుదేశమును మీ వశము చేసెదను.

17. I will gather you back from those countries and lands where you've been scattered and give you back the land of Israel.

18. వారు అక్కడికి వచ్చి అక్కడ తాముంచియున్న విగ్రహములను తీసివేసి, తాము చేసియున్న హేయక్రియలు చేయుట మానుదురు.

18. You'll come back and clean house, throw out all the rotten images and obscene idols.

19. వారు నా కట్ట డలను నా విధులను అనుసరించి గైకొను నట్లు నేను వారి శరీరములలోనుండి రాతిగుండెను తీసివేసి వారికి మాంసపు గుండెను ఇచ్చి, వారికి ఏకమనస్సు కలుగజేసి వారియందు నూతన ఆత్మ పుట్టింతును.

19. I'll give you a new heart. I'll put a new spirit in you. I'll cut out your stone heart and replace it with a red-blooded, firm-muscled heart.

20. అప్పుడు వారు నాకు జనులై యుందురు నేను వారికి దేవుడనై యుందును.

20. Then you'll obey my statutes and be careful to obey my commands. You'll be my people! I'll be your God!

21. అయితే తమ విగ్రహములను అనుసరించుచు, తాము చేయుచు వచ్చిన హేయక్రియలను జరిగింప బూనువారి మీదికి తమ ప్రవర్తన ఫలము రప్పింతును; ఇదే ప్రభువైన యెహోవా వాక్కు.

21. ''But not those who are self-willed and addicted to their rotten images and obscene idols! I'll see that they're paid in full for what they've done.' Decree of GOD, the Master.'

22. కెరూబులు తమ రెక్కలు చాచెను, చక్రములును వాటి ప్రక్కనుండెను అంతలో ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల దేవుని మహిమ వాటికి పైన నుండెను.

22. Then the cherubim spread their wings, with the wheels beside them and the Glory of the God of Israel hovering over them.

23. మరియు యెహోవా మహిమ పట్టణములో నుండి పైకెక్కి పట్టణపు తూర్పుదిశనున్న కొండకుపైగా నిలిచెను.

23. The Glory of GOD ascended from within the city and rested on the mountain to the east of the city.

24. తరువాత ఆత్మ నన్ను ఎత్తి, నేను దైవాత్మవశుడను కాగా, దర్శనములో నైనట్టు కల్దీయులదేశమునందు చెరలో ఉన్నవారియొద్దకు నన్ను దింపెను. అంతలో నాకు కనబడిన దర్శనము కనబడకుండ పైకెక్కెను.

24. Then, still in the vision given me by the Spirit of God, the Spirit took me and carried me back to the exiles in Babylon. And then the vision left me.

25. అప్పుడు యెహోవా నాకు ప్రత్యక్షపరచిన వాటినన్నిటిని చెరలో ఉన్నవారికి నేను తెలియజేసితిని.

25. I told the exiles everything that GOD had shown me.
