1. అప్పుడు యెహోవా వాక్కు నాకు ప్రత్యక్షమై యీలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను

1. Then this message came to me from the LORD:

2. నరపుత్రుడా, యెరూషలేము తట్టు నీ ముఖము త్రిప్పుకొని, పరిశుద్ధ స్థలములనుబట్టి ఇశ్రాయేలీయులదేశమును గూర్చి ప్రవచించి ఇట్లనుము

2. 'Son of man, turn and face Jerusalem and prophesy against Israel and her sanctuaries.

3. యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చునదేమనగా నేను నీకు విరోధినై తిని. నీతిపరులనేమి దుష్టులనేమి నీలో ఎవరు నుండకుండ అందరిని నిర్మూలము చేయుటకై నా ఖడ్గము ఒరదూసి యున్నాను.

3. Tell her, 'This is what the LORD says: I am your enemy, O Israel, and I am about to unsheath my sword to destroy your people-- the righteous and the wicked alike.

4. నీతిపరులేమి దుష్టులేమి యెవరును మీలో ఉండకుండ దక్షిణదిక్కు మొదలుకొని ఉత్తరదిక్కువరకు అందరిని నిర్మూలము చేయుటకై నా ఖడ్గము దాని ఒరలో నుండి బయలుదేరియున్నది.

4. Yes, I will cut off both the righteous and the wicked! I will draw my sword against everyone in the land from south to north.

5. యెహోవానైన నేను నా ఖడ్గము మరల ఒరలోపడకుండ దాని దూసియున్నానని జనులందరు తెలిసికొందురు.

5. Everyone in the world will know that I am the LORD. My sword is in my hand, and it will not return to its sheath until its work is finished.'

6. కావున నరపుత్రుడా, నిట్టూర్పు విడువుము, వారు చూచుచుండగా నీ నడుము బద్దలగునట్లు మనోదుఃఖముతో నిట్టూర్పు విడువుము.

6. 'Son of man, groan before the people! Groan before them with bitter anguish and a broken heart.

7. నీవు నిట్టూర్పు విడిచెదవేమని వారు నిన్నడుగగా నీవుశ్రమదినము వచ్చుచున్నదను దుర్వార్త నాకు వినబడినది, అందరి గుండెలు కరిగిపోవును, అందరి చేతులు బల హీనమవును, అందరి మనస్సులు అధైర్యపడును, అందరి మోకాళ్లు నీరవును, ఇంతగా కీడు వచ్చుచున్నది; అది వచ్చేయున్నది అని చెప్పుము; ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు.

7. When they ask why you are groaning, tell them, 'I groan because of the terrifying news I have heard. When it comes true, the boldest heart will melt with fear; all strength will disappear. Every spirit will faint; strong knees will become as weak as water. And the Sovereign LORD says: It is coming! It's on its way!''

8. మరియు యెహోవా వాక్కు నాకు ప్రత్యక్షమై యీలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను.

8. Then the LORD said to me,

9. నరపుత్రుడా, నీవు ఈ మాటలు ప్రకటనచేసి ఇట్లనుము యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చునదేమనగా అదిగో ఖడ్గము ఖడ్గమే కనబడుచున్నది, అది పదునుగలదై మెరుగుపెట్టియున్నది.

9. 'Son of man, give the people this message from the LORD: 'A sword, a sword is being sharpened and polished.

10. అది గొప్ప వధ చేయుటకై పదును పెట్టియున్నది, తళతళలాడునట్లు అది మెరుగుపెట్టియున్నది; ఇట్లుండగా నా కుమారుని దండము ఇతర దండములన్నిటిని తృణీకరించునది అని చెప్పి మనము సంతోషించెదమా?

10. It is sharpened for terrible slaughter and polished to flash like lightning! Now will you laugh? Those far stronger than you have fallen beneath its power!

11. మరియు దూయుటకు సిద్ధమగునట్లు అది మెరుగుపెట్టువానియొద్ద నుంచ బడియుండెను, హతము చేయువాడు పట్టుకొనునట్లుగా అది పదునుగలదై మెరుగు పెట్టబడియున్నది.

11. Yes, the sword is now being sharpened and polished; it is being prepared for the executioner.

12. నరపుత్రుడా అంగలార్చుము, కేకలువేయుము, అది నా జనులమీదికిని ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల ప్రధానులమీదికిని వచ్చుచున్నది, ఖడ్గభయము నా జనులకు తటస్థించినది గనుక నీ తొడను చరచుకొనుము.

12. 'Son of man, cry out and wail; pound your thighs in anguish, for that sword will slaughter my people and their leaders-- everyone will die!

13. శోధనకలిగెను, తృణీకరించు దండము రాకపోయిననేమి? ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు.

13. It will put them all to the test. What chance do they have? says the Sovereign LORD.

14. నరపుత్రుడా, చేతులు చరచుకొనుచు సమాచారము ప్రవచింపుము, ఖడ్గము ముమ్మారు రెట్టింపబడినదై జనులను హతముచేయునదై యున్నది, అది గొప్పవాని అంతఃపురము చొచ్చి వాని హతము చేయునది.

14. 'Son of man, prophesy to them and clap your hands. Then take the sword and brandish it twice, even three times, to symbolize the great massacre, the great massacre facing them on every side.

15. వారి గుండెలు కరిగిపోవునట్లును, పడద్రోయు అడ్డములు అధికములగునట్లును, వారి గుమ్మములలో నేను ఖడ్గము దూసెదను; అయ్యయ్యో అది తళతళలాడుచున్నది, హతము చేయుటకై అది దూయబడియున్నది.

15. Let their hearts melt with terror, for the sword glitters at every gate. It flashes like lightning and is polished for slaughter!

16. ఖడ్గమా, సిద్ధపడియుండుము; కుడివైపు చూడుము, ఎడమవైపు తిరుగుము, ఎక్కడ నీకు పని యుండునో అక్కడికి తిరుగుము

16. O sword, slash to the right, then slash to the left, wherever you will, wherever you want.

17. నేనుకూడ నా చేతులు చరచుకొని నా క్రోధము తీర్చుకొందును; యెహోవా నగు నేనే మాట ఇచ్చి యున్నాను.

17. I, too, will clap my hands, and I will satisfy my fury. I, the LORD, have spoken!'

18. మరియు యెహోవా వాక్కు నాకు ప్రత్యక్షమై యీలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను.

18. Then this message came to me from the LORD:

19. నరపుత్రుడా, బబులోను రాజు ఖడ్గమువచ్చుటకు రెండు మార్గములను ఏర్పరచుము. ఆరెండును ఒక దేశములోనుండి వచ్చునట్లు సూచించుటకై యొక హస్తరూపము గీయుము, పట్టణపు వీధి కొనను దాని గీయుము.

19. 'Son of man, make a map and trace two routes on it for the sword of Babylon's king to follow. Put a signpost on the road that comes out of Babylon where the road forks into two--

20. ఖడ్గమునకు అమ్మోనీయుల పట్టణమగు రబ్బాకు ఒక మార్గమును, యూదాదేశమందున్న ప్రాకారములు గల పట్టణమగు యెరూషలేమునకు ఒక మార్గమును ఏర్పరచుము.

20. one road going to Ammon and its capital, Rabbah, and the other to Judah and fortified Jerusalem.

21. బాటలు చీలుచోట రెండు మార్గములు చీలు స్థలమున శకునము తెలిసికొనుటకు బబులోను రాజు నిలుచుచున్నాడు; అతడు బాణములను ఇటు అటు ఆడించుచు, విగ్రహములచేత విచారణ చేయుచు, కార్యమునుబట్టి శకునము చూచుచున్నాడు.

21. The king of Babylon now stands at the fork, uncertain whether to attack Jerusalem or Rabbah. He calls his magicians to look for omens. They cast lots by shaking arrows from the quiver. They inspect the livers of animal sacrifices.

22. యెరూషలేము ఎదుట గుమ్మములను పడగొట్టు యంత్ర ములు పెట్టుమనియు, హతముచేయుదమనియు, ధ్వని ఎత్తుమనియు, జయధ్వని బిగ్గరగా ఎత్తుమనియు, గుమ్మ ములకు ఎదురుగా పడగొట్టు యంత్రములు ఉంచు మనియు, దిబ్బలు వేయుమనియు, ముట్టడి దిబ్బలు కట్టు మనియు యెరూషలేమునుగూర్చి తన కుడితట్టున శకునము కనబడెను.

22. The omen in his right hand says, 'Jerusalem!' With battering rams his soldiers will go against the gates, shouting for the kill. They will put up siege towers and build ramps against the walls.

23. ప్రమాణములు చేసికొనిన వారికి ఈ శకునము వ్యర్థముగా కనబడును; అయితే వారు పట్టబడునట్లు వారు చేసికొనిన పాపమును అతడు వారి జ్ఞాపకమునకు తెప్పించును.

23. The people of Jerusalem will think it is a false omen, because of their treaty with the Babylonians. But the king of Babylon will remind the people of their rebellion. Then he will attack and capture them.

24. కాబట్టి ప్రభువైన యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చు చున్నాడుమీ అతిక్రమములు బయలుపడుటవలన మీ సమస్త క్రియలలోనుండి మీ పాపములు అగుపడునట్లు మీ దోషము మీరు మనస్సునకు తెచ్చుకొనినందునను, నేను మిమ్మును జ్ఞాపకము చేసికొనినందునను మీరు చెయ్యి చిక్కియున్నారు.

24. 'Therefore, this is what the Sovereign LORD says: Again and again you remind me of your sin and your guilt. You don't even try to hide it! In everything you do, your sins are obvious for all to see. So now the time of your punishment has come!

25. గాయపడినవాడా, దుష్టుడా, ఇశ్రాయేలీయులకు అధిపతీ, దోషసమాప్తికాలమున నీకు తీర్పువచ్చియున్నది.

25. 'O you corrupt and wicked prince of Israel, your final day of reckoning is here!

26. ప్రభువైన యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడుతలాటమును తీసివేయుము కిరీట మును ఎత్తుము, ఇది యికను ఇట్లుండదు. ఇకమీదట నీచుని ఘనునిగాను ఘనుని నీచునిగాను చేయుము.

26. This is what the Sovereign LORD says: 'Take off your jeweled crown, for the old order changes. Now the lowly will be exalted, and the mighty will be brought down.

27. నేను దానిని పడద్రోయుదును పడద్రోయుదును పడ ద్రోయుదును; దాని స్వాస్థ్యకర్త వచ్చువరకు అదియు నిలువదు, అప్పుడు నేను దానిని అతనికిచ్చెదను.

27. Destruction! Destruction! I will surely destroy the kingdom. And it will not be restored until the one appears who has the right to judge it. Then I will hand it over to him.

28. 'And now, son of man, prophesy concerning the Ammonites and their mockery. Give them this message from the Sovereign LORD: 'A sword, a sword is drawn for your slaughter. It is polished to destroy, flashing like lightning!

29. శకునగాండ్రు నీకొరకు మాయా దర్శనములు చూచుచుండగను, వారు వ్యర్థమైన వాటిని మీకు చెప్పుచుండగను, దోషసమాప్తి కాలమున శిక్షనొంది హతులైన దుర్మార్గుల మెడల ప్రక్కన అది నిన్ను పడ వేయును.

29. Your prophets have given false visions, and your fortune-tellers have told lies. The sword will fall on the necks of the wicked for whom the day of final reckoning has come.

30. ఖడ్గమును ఒరలోవేయుము; నీవు సృష్టింప బడిన స్థలములోనే నీవు పుట్టిన దేశములోనే నేను నీకు శిక్ష విధింతును.

30. 'Now return the sword to its sheath, for in your own country, the land of your birth, I will pass judgment upon you.

31. అచ్చటనే నా రౌద్రమును నీమీద కుమ్మరించెదను, నా ఉగ్రతాగ్నిని నీమీద రగుల బెట్టెదను, నాశనము చేయుటయందు నేర్పరులైన క్రూరులకు నిన్ను అప్పగించెదను.

31. I will pour out my fury on you and blow on you with the fire of my anger. I will hand you over to cruel men who are skilled in destruction.

32. అగ్ని నిన్ను మింగును, నీ రక్తము దేశములో కారును, నీ వెన్నటికిని జ్ఞాపకమునకు రాకయుందువు; యెహోవానగు నేనే మాట ఇచ్చి యున్నాను.

32. You will be fuel for the fire, and your blood will be spilled in your own land. You will be utterly wiped out, your memory lost to history, for I, the LORD, have spoken!'
