1. మరియు యెహోవా వాక్కు నాకు ప్రత్యక్షమై యీలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను.

1. Moreover, the word of the LORD came unto me, and said:

2. నరపుత్రుడా, ప్రాణహాని చేయు ఈ పట్టణమునకు నీవు తీర్పు తీర్చుదువా? దానికి నీవు తీర్పు తీర్చునెడల అదిచేయు హేయక్రియలన్నిటిని దానికి తెలియజేసి యీలాగున ప్రకటింపవలెను.

2. Thou son of man, wilt thou not reprove this bloodthirsty city? Shew them their abominations,

3. ప్రభువైన యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చునదేమనగా నీ కాలము వచ్చునట్లు నరహత్యలు చేయు పట్టణమా, నిన్ను అపవిత్రపరచుకొనునట్లు విగ్రహములు పెట్టుకొను పట్టణమా, నీవు చేసిన నరహత్యలచేత నీకు నీవే నేరస్థాపన చేసి కొంటివి, నీవు పెట్టుకొనిన విగ్రహములచేత నిన్ను నీవే అపవిత్రపరచుకొంటివి,

3. and tell them: Thus sayeth the Lord GOD:(LORDE God) O thou city, that sheddest blood in the middest of thee, that thy time may come also: and makest the Idols to defile thee withal.

4. నీకు నీవే శిక్ష తెప్పించు కొంటివి, శిక్షా సంవత్సరములు వచ్చుటకు నీవే కారణ మైతివి. కాబట్టి అన్యజనములలో నిందాస్పదముగాను, సకలదేశములలో అపహాస్యాస్పదముగాను నిన్ను నియ మించుచున్నాను.

4. Thou hast made thy self guilty in the blood that thou hast shed, and defiled thee in the Idols, which thou hast made. Thou hast caused thy days to draw nigh, and made the time of thy years to come. Therefore will I make thee to be confounded among the heathen, and to be despised in all the lands,

5. సమీపస్థులేమి దూరస్థులేమి అందరును అపకీర్తి పొందినదానవనియు అల్లరితో నిండినదాన వనియు నిన్ను అపహసింతురు.

5. whether they be nigh or far from thee: they shall laugh thee to scorn, thou that hast gotten thee so foul a name, and art full of mischief.

6. నీలోని ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల ప్రధానులందరును తమ శక్తికొలది నరహత్యచేయుదురు,

6. Behold, the rulers of Israel have brought every man his power, to shed blood in thee.

7. నీలో తలిదండ్రులు అవమానమొందుదురు, నీ మధ్యనున్న పరదేశులు దౌర్జన్యము నొందుదురు, నీలో తండ్రిలేని వారును విధవరాండ్రును హింసింపబడుదురు,

7. In thee have they despised father and mother, in thee have they oppressed the stranger, in thee have they vexed the widow and the fatherless.

8. నాకు ప్రతిష్ఠితములగు వస్తువులను నీవు తృణీకరించుచున్నావు, నా విశ్రాంతిదినములను నీవు అపవిత్రపరచుచున్నావు.

8. Thou hast despised my Sanctuary, and unhallowed my Sabbath.

9. కొండెములు చెప్పి నరహత్య చేయువారు నీలో కాపురమున్నారు, పర్వతములమీద భోజనము చేయువారు నీ మధ్య నివసించుచున్నారు, నీలో కామ వికార చేష్టలు జరుగుచున్నవి.

9. Murderers are there in thee, that shed blood, and eat upon the hills, and in thee they use unhappiness.

10. తమ తండ్రి మానాచ్ఛాదనము తీయు వారు నీలో నున్నారు, అశుచియై బహిష్టియైన స్త్రీని చెరుపువారు నీలో కాపురమున్నారు.

10. In thee have they discovered their fathers' shame, in thee have they vexed women in their sickness.

11. ఒకడు తన పొరుగువాని భార్యను కూడి హేయక్రియలు చేయును, మరియొకడు కామాతురుడై తన కోడలిని అపవిత్రపరచును, నీలో జనులు తండ్రి కుమార్తెయగు తమ సహోదరిని చెరుపుదురు.

11. Every man hath dealt shamefully with his neighbour's wife, and abominably defiled his daughter-in-law. In thee hath every man forced his own sister, even his father's daughter.

12. నన్ను మరచిపోయి నరహత్యకై లంచము పుచ్చుకొనువారు నీలో నున్నారు, అప్పిచ్చి వడ్డి పుచ్చుకొని నీ పొరుగువారిని బాధించుచు నీవు బలవంతముగా వారిని దోచుకొనుచున్నావు; ఇదే ప్రభువైన యెహోవా వాక్కు.

12. Yea gifts have been received in thee, to shed blood. Thou hast taken usury and increase, thou hast oppressed thy neighbours by extortion, and forgotten me, sayeth the Lord GOD.(LORDE God)

13. నీవు పుచ్చుకొనిన అన్యాయ లాభమును, నీవు చేసిన నరహత్యలను నేను చూచి నా చేతులు చరచుకొనుచున్నాను.

13. Behold, I have smitten my hands upon thy covetousness, that thou hast used, and upon the blood which hath been shed in thee.

14. నేను నీకు శిక్ష విధింప బోవుకాలమున ఓర్చుకొనుటకు చాలినంత ధైర్యము నీ హృదయమునకు కలదా? సహించునంత బలము నీ కుండునా? యెహోవానగు నేనే మాట ఇచ్చియున్నాను, దానిని నేను నెరవేర్తును, నీ అపవిత్రతను బొత్తిగా తీసి వేయుటకై

14. Is thy heart able to endure it, or may thy hands defend themselves, in the time that I shall bring upon thee? Even I the LORD that speak it, will bring it also to pass.

15. అన్యజనులలో నిన్ను చెదరగొట్టుదును, ఇతర దేశములకు నిన్ను వెళ్లగొట్టుదును.

15. I will scatter thee among the heathen, and strow thee about in the lands, and will cause thy filthiness to cease out of thee.

16. అచ్చట అన్యజనుల ఎదుటనే నీ అంతట నీవే భ్రష్ఠుడవై నేను యెహోవానని నీవు తెలిసికొందువు.

16. Yea and I will have thee in possession in the sight of the Heathen, that thou mayest know that I am the LORD.

17. మరియు యెహోవా వాక్కు నాకు ప్రత్యక్షమై యీలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను

17. And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying:

18. నరపుత్రుడా, ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు నా దృష్టికి మష్టువంటివారైరి, అందరును కొలిమి లోని ఇత్తడియు తగరమును ఇనుమును సీసము నైరి, వారు వెండి మష్టువంటివారైరి.

18. Thou son of man, the house of Israel is turned to dross. All they that should be brass, tin, iron and lead, are in the fire become dross.

19. కావున ప్రభువైన యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చునదేమనగా మీరందరును మష్టు వంటివారైతిరి. నేను మిమ్మును యెరూషలేము మధ్యను పోగుచేసెదను, ఒకడు వెండియు ఇత్తడియు ఇనుమును సీసమును తగరమును పోగుచేసి కొలిమిలో వేసి దానిమీద అగ్ని ఊది కరిగించినట్లు

19. Therefore, thus sayeth the Lord GOD:(LORDE God) for so much as ye all are turned into dross, behold: I will bring you together unto Jerusalem,

20. నా కోపము చేతను రౌద్రముచేతను మిమ్మును పోగుచేసి అక్కడ మిమ్మును కరిగింతును.

20. like as silver, and brass, iron, tin, and lead, are put together in the furnace and the fire blown there under to melt them: Even so will I gather you, put you in together, and melt you in my wrath and indignation.

21. మిమ్మును పోగుచేసి నా కోపాగ్నిని మీమీద ఊదగా నిశ్చయముగా మీరు దానిలో కరిగిపోవుదురు.

21. I will bring you together, and kindle the fire of my cruel displeasure under you, that ye may be melted therein.

22. కొలి మిలో వెండి కరుగునట్లు మీరు దానిలో కరిగిపోవుదురు, అప్పుడు యెహోవానైన నేను నా క్రోధమును మీమీద కుమ్మరించితినని మీరు తెలిసికొందురు.

22. Like as the silver is melted in the fire, so shall ye also be melted therein: that ye may know, how that I the LORD have poured my wrath upon you.

23. మరియు యెహోవా వాక్కు నాకు ప్రత్యక్షమై యీలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను

23. And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying:

24. నరపుత్రుడా, యెరూషలేమునకు నీవీమాట ప్రకటింపుము నీవు పవిత్రము కాని దేశమువై యున్నావు

24. Thou son of man, tell her: Thou art an unclean land, which is not rained upon in the day of the cruel wrath:

25. ఉగ్రత దినమందు నీకు వర్షము రాదు, అందులో ప్రవక్తలు కుట్రచేయుదురు, గర్జించు చుండు సింహము వేటను చీల్చునట్లు వారు మనుష్యులను భక్షింతురు. సొత్తులను ద్రవ్యమును వారు పట్టుకొందురు, దానిలో చాలామందిని వారు విధవరాండ్రుగా చేయుదురు,

25. thy Prophets that are in thee, are sworn together to devour souls, like as a roaring Lion, that liveth by his prey. They receive riches and good, and make many widows in thee.

26. దాని యాజకులు నా ధర్మశాస్త్రమును నిరాక రించుదురు, నాకు ప్రతిష్ఠితములగు వస్తువులను అపవిత్ర పరచుదురు, ప్రతిష్ఠితమైనదానికిని సాధారణమైనదానికిని భేదమెంచరు, పవిత్రమేదో అపవిత్రమేదో తెలిసికొను టకు జనులకు నేర్పరు, నేను విధించిన విశ్రాంతిదినములను ఆచరింపరు, వారి మధ్య నేను దూషింపబడుచున్నాను.

26. Thy priests break my law, and defile my Sanctuary. They put no difference between the holy and unholy, neither discern between the clean and unclean: they turn their eyes from my Sabbaths, and I am unhallowed among them.

27. దానిలో అధిపతులు లాభము సంపాదించుటకై నరహత్య చేయుటలోను మనుష్యులను నశింపజేయుటలోను వేటను చీల్చు తోడేళ్లవలె ఉన్నారు.

27. Thy rulers in thee are like ravishing wolves, to shed blood, and to destroy souls, for their own covetous lucre.

28. మరియు దాని ప్రవక్తలు వ్యర్థమైన దర్శనములు కనుచు, యెహోవా ఏమియు సెలవియ్యనప్పుడు ప్రభువైన యెహోవా యీలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడని చెప్పుచు, వట్టిసోదెగాండ్రయి జనులు కట్టిన మంటిగోడకు గచ్చుపూతపూయువారై యున్నారు.

28. As for thy Prophets, they daub with untempered clay, they see vanities, and prophesy lies unto thee, saying: the Lord GOD(LORDE God) sayeth so, where as the LORD hath not spoken.

29. మరియు సామాన్య జనులు బలాత్కారముచేయుచు దొంగిలించుదురు, వారు దీనులను దరిద్రులను హింసించుదురు, అన్యాయముగా వారు పరదేశులను బాధించుదురు.

29. The people in the land useth wicked extortion and robbery. They vex the poor and needy and oppress the stranger against right.

30. నేను దేశమును పాడుచేయకుండునట్లు ప్రాకారమును దిట్టపరచుటకును, బద్దలైన సందులలో నిలుచుటకును, తగిన వాడెవడని నేను ఎంత విచారించినను ఒకడైనను కనబడ లేదు.

30. And I sought in the land for a man, that would make up the hedge, and set himself in the gap before me in the lands behalf, that I should not utterly destroy it: but I could find none.

31. కావున నేను నా క్రోధమును వారిమీద కుమ్మరింతును, వారి ప్రవర్తన ఫలము వారిమీదికి రప్పించి నా ఉగ్రతాగ్నిచేత వారిని దహింతును; ఇదే ప్రభువైన యెహోవా వాక్కు.
ప్రకటన గ్రంథం 16:1

31. Therefore will I poured out my cruel displeasure upon them, and burn them in the fire of my wrath: their own ways will I recompense upon their heads, sayeth the Lord GOD.(LORDE God)
