1. తొమ్మిదియవ సంవత్సరము పదియవ నెల పదియవ దినమున యెహోవా వాక్కు నాకు ప్రత్యక్షమై యీలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను

1. And there is a word of Jehovah unto me, in the ninth year, in the tenth month, in the tenth of the month, saying,

2. నరపుత్రుడా, ఈదినము పేరు వ్రాసి యుంచుము, నేటిదినము పేరు వ్రాసి యుంచుము, ఈ దినము బబులోను రాజు యెరూషలేము మీదికి వచ్చు చున్నాడు.

2. 'Son of man, write for thee the name of the day -- this self-same day leaned hath the king of Babylon toward Jerusalem in this self-same day --

3. మరియు తిరుగుబాటుచేయు ఈ జనులను గూర్చి యుపమానరీతిగా ఇట్లు ప్రకటింపుము ప్రభువైన యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చునదేమనగా కుండను తెచ్చి దానిలో నీళ్లు పోసి దానిని పొయ్యిమీద పెట్టుము.

3. and use unto the rebellious house a simile, and thou hast said unto them: Thus said the Lord Jehovah: To set on the pot, to set [it] on, and also to pour into it water,

4. తొడజబ్బ మొదలగు మంచి మంచి ముక్కలన్నియు చేర్చి అందులో వేసి, మంచి యెముకలను ఏరి దాని నింపుము.

4. To gather its pieces unto it, every good piece, Thigh and shoulder, the choice of the bones to fill in.

5. మందలో శ్రేష్ఠమైనవాటిని తీసికొనుము, అందున్న యెముకలు ఉడుకునట్లు చాల కట్టెలు పోగుచేయుము, దానిని బాగుగా పొంగించుము, ఎముకలను చాలునంతగా ఉడి కించుము.

5. The choice of the flock to take, And also to pile of the bones under it, Boil it thoroughly, yea, cook its bones in its midst.

6. కాబట్టి ప్రభువైన యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చునదేమనగా నరహంతకులున్న పట్టణమునకు శ్రమ; మడ్డిగల కుండా, మానకుండ మడ్డిగలిగియుండు కుండా, నీకు శ్రమ; చీటి దాని వంతున పడలేదు, వండినదానిని ముక్కవెంబడి ముక్కగా దానిలోనుండి తీసికొని రమ్ము.

6. Therefore, thus said the Lord Jehovah: Woe [to] the city of blood, A pot whose scum [is] in it, And its scum hath not come out of it, By piece of it, by piece of it bring it out, Not fallen on it hath a lot.

7. దానిచేత చిందింపబడిన రక్తము దానిలో కనబడుచున్నది, మట్టితో దాని కప్పివేయునట్లు దానిని నేలమీద కుమ్మరింపక వట్టి బండమీద దానిని చిందించెను.

7. For her blood in her midst hath been, On a clear place of a rock she hath set it, She hath not poured it on the earth, To cover it over with dust.

8. కావున నా క్రోధము రానిచ్చి, నేను ప్రతికారము చేయునట్లు అది చిందించిన రక్తము కప్పబడకుండ దానిని వట్టిబండమీద నేనుండ నిచ్చితిని.

8. To cause fury to come up to take vengeance, I have put her blood on a clear place of a rock -- not to be covered.

9. ప్రభువైన యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చునదేమనగా నరహంతకులున్న పట్టణమునకు శ్రమ, నేనును విస్తరించి కట్టెలు పేర్చబోవుచున్నాను.

9. Therefore, thus said the Lord Jehovah: Woe [to] the city of blood, yea, I -- I make great the pile.

10. చాల కట్టెలు పేర్చుము, అగ్ని రాజ బెట్టుము, మాంసమును బాగుగా ఉడకబెట్టుము. ఏమియు ఉండకుండ ఎముకలు పూర్తిగా ఉడుకునట్లు చారు చిక్కగా దింపుము.

10. Make abundant the wood, Kindle the fire, consume the flesh, And make the compound, And let the bones be burnt.

11. తరువాత దానికి తగిలిన మష్టును మడ్డియు పోవునట్లు అది వేడియై మెరుగు పట్టువరకు వట్టిచట్టి పొయ్యిమీదనే యుంచుము.

11. And cause it to stand on its coals empty, So that its brass is hot and burning, Melted hath been in its midst its uncleanness, Consumed is its scum.

12. అలసట పుట్టు వరకు ఇంతగా శ్రద్ధపుచ్చుకొనినను దాని విస్తారమైన మష్టు పోదాయెను, మష్టుతోకూడ దానిని అగ్నిలో వేయుము,

12. [With] sorrows she hath wearied herself, And the abundance of her scum goeth not out of her, In the fire [is] her scum.

13. నీకు కలిగిన అపవిత్రత నీ కామాతురతయే; నిన్ను శుభ్రపరచుటకు నేను పూనుకొనినను నీవు శుభ్రపడకపోతివి, నా క్రోధమును నీమీద తీర్చుకొనువరకు నీవు శుభ్ర పడకయుందువు.

13. In thine uncleanness [is] wickedness, Because I have cleansed thee, And thou hast not been cleansed, From thine uncleanness thou art not cleansed again, Till I have caused My fury to rest on thee.

14. యెహోవానైన నేను మాటయిచ్చి యున్నాను, అది జరుగును, నేనే నెరవేర్చెదను నేను వెనుకతీయను, కనికరింపను, సంతాపపడను, నీ ప్రవర్తనను బట్టియు నీ క్రియలనుబట్టియు నీకు శిక్ష విధింపబడును, ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు.

14. I, Jehovah, hath spoken, It hath come, and I have done [it], I do not free, nor do I spare, nor do I repent, According to thy ways, and according to thine acts, they have judged thee, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah.'

15. మరియు యెహోవా వాక్కు నాకు ప్రత్యక్షమై యీలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను

15. And there is a word of Jehovah unto me, saying,

16. నరపుత్రుడా, నీ కన్నుల కింపైన దానిని నీ యొద్దనుండి ఒక్కదెబ్బతో తీసివేయ బోవుచున్నాను, నీవు అంగలార్చవద్దు ఏడువవద్దు కన్నీరు విడువవద్దు.

16. 'Son of man, lo, I am taking from thee the desire of thine eyes by a stroke, and thou dost not mourn, nor weep, nor let thy tear come.

17. మృతులకై విలాపముచేయక నిశ్శబ్దముగా నిట్టూర్పు విడువుము, నీ శిరోభూషణములు ధరించుకొని పాదరక్షలు తొడుగుకొనవలెను, నీ పెదవులు మూసికొన వద్దు జనుల ఆహారము భుజింపవద్దు

17. Cease to groan, [for] the dead thou dost make no mourning, thy bonnet bind on thee, and thy shoes thou dost put on thy feet, and thou dost not cover over the upper lip, and bread of men thou dost not eat.'

18. ఉదయమందు జనులకు నేను ప్రకటించితిని, సాయంతనమున నా భార్య చనిపోగా ఆయన నా కాజ్ఞాపించినట్లు మరునాటి ఉదయమున నేను చేసితిని.

18. And I speak unto the people in the morning, and my wife dieth in the evening, and I do in the morning as I have been commanded.

19. నీవు చేసినవాటివలన మేము తెలిసికొనవలసిన సంగతి నీవు మాతో చెప్పవా అని జనులు నన్నడుగగా

19. And the people say unto me, 'Dost thou not declare to us what these [are] to us, that thou art doing?'

20. నేను వారితో ఇట్లంటిని యెహోవా వాక్కు నాకు ప్రత్యక్షమై యీలాగు సెల విచ్చెను.

20. And I say unto them, 'A word of Jehovah hath been unto me, saying:

21. ఇశ్రాయేలీయులకు నీవీలాగున ప్రకటింపుము ప్రభువైన యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చునదేమనగా మీకు అతిశయాస్పదముగాను, మీ కన్నులకు ముచ్చట గాను, మీ మనస్సునకు ఇష్టముగాను ఉన్న నా పరిశుద్ధ స్థలమును నేను చెరపబోవుచున్నాను, మీరు వెనుక విడిచిన మీ కుమారులును కుమార్తెలును అక్కడనే ఖడ్గముచేత కూలుదురు.

21. Say to the house of Israel: Thus said the Lord Jehovah: Lo, I am polluting My sanctuary, The excellency of your strength, The desire of your eyes, and the pitied of your soul, And your sons and your daughters whom ye have left, by sword they do fall.

22. అప్పుడు నేను చేసినట్లు మీరును చేయుదురు, మీ పెదవులు మూసికొనకయుందురు, జనుల ఆహారమును మీరు భుజింపకయుందురు.

22. And ye have done as I have done, On the upper lip ye are not covered, And bread of men ye do not eat.

23. మీ శిరో భూషణములను తలలమీదనుండి తీయకయు, మీ పాద రక్షలను పాదములనుండి తీయకయు, అంగలార్చకయు, ఏడ్వకయు నుందురు, ఒకని నొకరుచూచి నిట్టూర్పులు విడుచుచు మీరు చేసిన దోషములనుబట్టి మీరు క్షీణించి పోవుదురు.

23. And your bonnets [are] on your heads, And your shoes [are] on your feet, Ye do not mourn nor do ye weep, And ye have wasted away for your iniquities, And ye have howled one unto another.

24. యెహెజ్కేలు మీకు సూచనగా ఉండును, అతడు చేసినదంతటి ప్రకారము మీరును చేయుదురు, ఇది సంభవించునప్పుడు నేను ప్రభువైన యెహోవానై యున్నానని మీరు తెలిసికొందురు.

24. And Ezekiel hath been to you for a type, According to all that he hath done ye do; In its coming in -- ye have known that I [am] the Lord Jehovah.

25. నరపుత్రుడా, వారి ఆశ్రయమును అతిశయాస్పదమును వారికి కన్నుల కింపైనదానిని వారు ఇచ్ఛయించు దానిని, వారి కుమారులను కుమార్తెలను నేను తీసివేయు దినమునందు నీకు సమాచారము తెలియజేయుటకై తప్పించుకొని వచ్చిన యొకడు నీయొద్దకు వచ్చును.

25. And thou, son of man, Is it not in the day of My taking from them their strength, The joy of their beauty, the desire of their eyes, And the song of their soul, Their sons and their daughters?

26. ఆ దినముననే నీవికను మౌనముగా ఉండక, తప్పించుకొని వచ్చిన వానితో స్పష్టముగా మాటలాడుదువు;

26. In that day come doth the escaped one to thee. To cause the ears to hear.

27. నేను యెహోవానై యున్నానని వారు తెలిసికొనునట్లు నీవు ఈ రీతిని వారికి సూచనగా ఉందువు.

27. In that day opened is thy mouth with the escaped, And thou speakest, and art not silent any more, And thou hast been to them for a type. And they have known that I [am] Jehovah.'
