1. మరియు పదకొండవ సంవత్సరము నెల మొదటి దినమున యెహోవా వాక్కు నాకు ప్రత్యక్షమై యీలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను

1. And it came to pass in the eleventh year, on the first of the month, that the word of Yahweh came unto me, saying:

2. నరపుత్రుడా, యెరూషలేమునుగూర్చి - ఆహా జనములకు ద్వారముగానున్న పట్టణము పడగొట్టబడెను, అది నావశమాయెను, అది పాడైపోయినందున నేను పరిపూర్ణము నొందితిని అని తూరు చెప్పెను గనుక

2. Son of man, Because Tyre hath said concerning Jerusalem. Aha! She is broken that was the doors of the peoples. She is turned unto me, I shall be fled, She is laid waste,

3. ప్రభువైన యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చున దేమనగా తూరుపట్టణమా, నేను నీకు విరోధి నైతిని, సముద్రము దాని తరంగములను పొంగజేయు రీతిగా నేను అనేకజనములను నీ మీదికి రప్పించెదను.

3. Therefore, Thus, saith My Lord Yahweh, Behold me! against thee O Tyre, So then I will bring up against thee many nations, As the sea bringeth up its rolling waves;

4. వారు వచ్చి తూరుయొక్క ప్రాకారములను కూల్చి దాని కోటలను పడగొట్టుదురు, నేను దానిమీదనున్న మంటిని తుడిచి వేయుదును, దానిని వట్టిబండగా చేసెదను.

4. And they shall destroy the walls of Tyre. And break down her towers, And I will scrape clean her dust from off her, And make of her the glaring face of a cliff:

5. సముద్రము దాని నావరించును, అది వలలు పరచుటకు చోటగును, నేనేమాట యిచ్చితిని, ఇదే ప్రభువగు యెహోవా వాక్కు అది జనములకు దోపుడుసొమ్మగును.

5. A place for the spreading of nets, shall she become, in the midst of the sea, For, I, have spoken Declareth My Lord. Yahweh, And she shall become a prey to the nations.

6. బయటి పొలములో నున్న దాని కుమార్తెలు కత్తిపాలగుదురు, అప్పుడు నేను యెహోవానై యున్నానని వారు తెలిసికొందురు.

6. And her daughters that are in the field: with the sword shall be slain: ho shall they know that I am Yahweh.

7. ప్రభువైన యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చునదేమనగా రారాజగు బబులోనురాజైన నెబుకద్రెజరును నేను తూరుపట్టణము మీదికి రప్పించుచున్నాను, అతడు గుఱ్ఱములతోను రథములతోను రౌతులతోను గుంపులు గుంపులుగానున్న సైన్యముతోను ఉత్తరదిక్కునుండివచ్చి

7. For thus saith My Lord. Yahweh, Behold me! bringing against Tyre. Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon out of the North. a king of kings, with horses and with chariots and with horsemen, and a gathered host, and much people.

8. బయటిపొలము లోని నీ కుమార్తెలను ఖడ్గముతో చంపి, నీ కెదురుగా బురుజులు కట్టించి దిబ్బవేయించి నీ కెదురుగా డాలు నెత్తును.

8. Thy daughters in the field with the sword, shall he slay, And shall set against thee a siege-wall And cast up against thee an earthwork, And set up against thee a large shield;

9. మరియు అతడు నీ ప్రాకారములను పడగొట్టుటకై యంత్రములు సంధించి గొడ్డండ్రతో నీ కోటలను పడగొట్టును.

9. And the stroke of his attacking-engine, will he direct against thy walls, And thy tower., will he break down with his axes.

10. అతనికి గుఱ్ఱములు బహు విస్తారముగా ఉన్నవి, అవి ధూళి యెగరగొట్టగా అది నిన్ను కమ్మును, బీటసందులుగల పట్టణములోనికి సైనికులు చొర బడినట్లు అతడు నీ కోటలలో ప్రవేశించునప్పుడు రౌతుల యొక్కయు చక్రములయొక్కయు రథములయొక్కయు ధ్వనిచేత నీ ప్రాకారములు కంపించును.

10. By reason of the multitude of his horses, their dust shall cover thee, At the noise of horseman and wheel and chariot, shall thy walls tremble, when he entereth into thy gates Just as they do who enter a city broken open.

11. అతడు తన గుఱ్ఱ ముల డెక్కలచేత నీ వీధులన్నియు అణగద్రొక్కించును, నీ జనులను ఖడ్గముతో హతము చేయును, నీ ప్రభావము నకు చిహ్నములైన స్తంభములు నేలను కూలును.

11. With the hoofs of his horses, shall he tread down all thy streets, Thy people-with the sword, shall he slay, And thy pillars of strength to the earth, shall go down.

12. వారు నీ ఐశ్వర్యమును దోచుకొందురు, నీ వర్తకమును అపహరింతురు, నీ ప్రాకారములను పడగొట్టుదురు, నీ విలాస మందిరములను పాడుచేయుదురు, నీ రాళ్లను నీ కలపను నీ మంటిని నీళ్లలో ముంచివేయుదురు.

12. And they shall spoil thy wealth And make a prey of thy merchandise, And break down thy walls And thy pleasant houses, shall they lay in ruins; And thy stones and thy timber and thy dust in the midst of the waters, shall they lay.

13. ఇట్లు నేను నీ సంగీతనాదమును మాన్పించెదను, నీ సితారా నాదమికను వినబడదు,

13. And I will cause to cease the hum of thy songs; And the sound of thy lyres, shall not be heard any more.

14. నిన్ను వట్టిబండగా చేయుదును, వలలు పరచుకొనుటకు చోటగుదువు నీవికను కట్టబడక యుందువు. నేనే మాట యిచ్చియున్నాను; ఇదే ప్రభువగు యెహోవా వాక్కు.

14. And I will make of thee the glaring face of a cliff. A place for the spreading of nets, shalt thou become, Thou shalt not be but any more, For I. Yahweh have spoken it, Declareth My Lord Yahweh.

15. తూరునుగూర్చి ప్రభువగు యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చు నదేమనగా నీవు కూలునప్పుడు కలుగు ధ్వనియు, హతులగుచున్నవారి కేకలును, నీలో జరుగు గొప్పవధయు ద్వీపములు విని కంపించును.

15. Thus saith My Lord. Yahweh, to Tyre: Shall it not be that. At the sound of thy fall. With the groan of thy pierced one. With the slaughter made in thy midst, The Coastlands shall tremble?

16. సముద్రపు అధిపతులందరును తమ సింహాసనములమీదనుండి దిగి, తమ చొక్కాయి లను విచిత్రమైన వస్త్రములను తీసివేసి, దిగులుపడిన వారై నేలను కూర్చుండి గడగడ వణకుచు నిన్ను చూచి విస్మయపడుదురు.

16. Then shall come down from off their thrones all the princes of the sea, And shall lay aside their robes. And their embroidered garments, shall strip off, With tremblings, shall they clothe them. selves Upon the ground, shall they sit, And shall tremble every moment and be astonished over thee.

17. వారు నిన్నుగూర్చి అంగలార్పు వచన మెత్తి ఈలాగున అందురుసముద్ర నివాసమైనదానా, ఖ్యాతినొందిన పట్ణణమా, నీవెట్లు నాశనమైతివి? సముద్ర ప్రయాణము చేయుటవలన దానికిని దాని నివాసులకును బలము కలిగెను, సముద్రవాసులందరిని భీతిల్లచేసినది ఇదే.

17. Then shall they take up over thee a dirge, And say to thee, How hast thou perished, And ceased from the seas, The city renowned which was strong in the sea She and they who dwelt in her, Who imparted their terror To all who dwelt in her.

18. ఇప్పుడు నీవు కూలినందున ద్వీపములు కంపించుచున్నవి, నీవు వెళ్లిపోవుట చూచి సముద్రద్వీపములు కదలు చున్నవి.

18. Now, shall tremble the Coastlands, In the day of thy fall, And shall shudder the isles that are in the sea. At thine exit!

19. ప్రభువైన యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చునదేమనగా నివాసులులేని పట్టణములవలెనే నేను నిన్ను పాడుచేయునప్పుడు మహా సముద్రము నిన్ను ముంచునట్లుగా నీ మీదికి నేను అగాధజలములను రప్పించెదను, పురాతన కాలమందు పాతాళములోనికి దిగిపోయినవారియొద్ద నీ వుండునట్లు నేను నిన్ను పడవేసి, నీవు జనములేని దాన వగుటకై పురాతనకాలములో పాడైన జనులయొద్ద భూమి క్రిందనున్న స్థలములలో నీకు నివాసము నిర్ణయింతును, పాతాళములోనికి దిగి పోవువారితో కూడ నిన్ను నివసింప జేసెదను.

19. For thus saith My Lord Yahweh, When I make thee a desolate city, Like cities which cannot be dwelt in, When I bring up over thee the roaring deep, And the mighty waters cover thee,

20. మరియు సజీవులు నివసించు భూమిమీద నేను మహాఘనకార్యము కలుగజేతును;

20. Then will I bring thee down with them that go down into the pit. Unto the people of age-past times And cause thee to dwell in the earth below Among the desolations from age-past times With them that go down into the pit That thou mayest not be dwelt in, Nor yet present thyself in the land of the living.

21. నిన్ను భీతికి కారణముగా జేతును, నీవు లేకపోవుదువు, ఎంత వెదకినను నీవెన్నటికిని కనబడక యుందువు; ఇదే ప్రభువైన యెహోవా వాక్కు.

21. A terror, will I make thee And thou shalt not be: Though thou be sought for, Thou shalt not be found any more To times age-abiding, Declareth My Lord, Yahweh.
