1. It happened, that in the eleventh year, and the first day of the Month, the word of the LORD came unto me, saying:

2. నరపుత్రుడా, యెరూషలేమునుగూర్చి - ఆహా జనములకు ద్వారముగానున్న పట్టణము పడగొట్టబడెను, అది నావశమాయెను, అది పాడైపోయినందున నేను పరిపూర్ణము నొందితిని అని తూరు చెప్పెను గనుక

2. Thou son of man, because that Tyre hath spoken upon Jerusalem: Aha, now I trow the ports of the people be broken, and she turned unto me, for I have destroyed my belly full.

3. ప్రభువైన యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చున దేమనగా తూరుపట్టణమా, నేను నీకు విరోధి నైతిని, సముద్రము దాని తరంగములను పొంగజేయు రీతిగా నేను అనేకజనములను నీ మీదికి రప్పించెదను.

3. Yea therefore sayeth the Lord GOD:(LORDE God) Behold O Tyre, I will upon thee, I will bring a great multitude of people against thee, like as when the sea ariseth with his waves:

4. వారు వచ్చి తూరుయొక్క ప్రాకారములను కూల్చి దాని కోటలను పడగొట్టుదురు, నేను దానిమీదనున్న మంటిని తుడిచి వేయుదును, దానిని వట్టిబండగా చేసెదను.

4. These shall break the walls of Tyre, and cast down her towers: I will scrape the ground from her, and make her a bare stone:

5. సముద్రము దాని నావరించును, అది వలలు పరచుటకు చోటగును, నేనేమాట యిచ్చితిని, ఇదే ప్రభువగు యెహోవా వాక్కు అది జనములకు దోపుడుసొమ్మగును.

5. Yea as the drying place, where the fishers hang up their nets by the sea side. Even I have spoken it, sayeth the Lord GOD.(LORDE God) The Gentiles shall spoil her:

6. బయటి పొలములో నున్న దాని కుమార్తెలు కత్తిపాలగుదురు, అప్పుడు నేను యెహోవానై యున్నానని వారు తెలిసికొందురు.

6. her daughters upon the field shall perish with the sword, that they may know, how that I am the LORD.

7. ప్రభువైన యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చునదేమనగా రారాజగు బబులోనురాజైన నెబుకద్రెజరును నేను తూరుపట్టణము మీదికి రప్పించుచున్నాను, అతడు గుఱ్ఱములతోను రథములతోను రౌతులతోను గుంపులు గుంపులుగానున్న సైన్యముతోను ఉత్తరదిక్కునుండివచ్చి

7. For thus sayeth the Lord GOD:(LORDE God) Behold, I will bring hither Nabuchodonosor (which is the king of Babylon and a king of kings) from the North upon Tyre, with horses, chariots, horsemen, and with a great multitude of people.

8. బయటిపొలము లోని నీ కుమార్తెలను ఖడ్గముతో చంపి, నీ కెదురుగా బురుజులు కట్టించి దిబ్బవేయించి నీ కెదురుగా డాలు నెత్తును.

8. Thy daughters that are in the land, shall he slay with the sword: but against thee, he shall make bulwarks and grave up ditches about thee, and lift up his shield against thee.

9. మరియు అతడు నీ ప్రాకారములను పడగొట్టుటకై యంత్రములు సంధించి గొడ్డండ్రతో నీ కోటలను పడగొట్టును.

9. His slings and battlerams shall he prepare for thy walls, and with his weapons break down thy towers.

10. అతనికి గుఱ్ఱములు బహు విస్తారముగా ఉన్నవి, అవి ధూళి యెగరగొట్టగా అది నిన్ను కమ్మును, బీటసందులుగల పట్టణములోనికి సైనికులు చొర బడినట్లు అతడు నీ కోటలలో ప్రవేశించునప్పుడు రౌతుల యొక్కయు చక్రములయొక్కయు రథములయొక్కయు ధ్వనిచేత నీ ప్రాకారములు కంపించును.

10. The dust of his horses shall cover thee, they shall be so many: thy walls shall shake at the noise of the horsemen, chariots and wheels: when he cometh to thy ports, as men do into an open city.

11. అతడు తన గుఱ్ఱ ముల డెక్కలచేత నీ వీధులన్నియు అణగద్రొక్కించును, నీ జనులను ఖడ్గముతో హతము చేయును, నీ ప్రభావము నకు చిహ్నములైన స్తంభములు నేలను కూలును.

11. With the hoofs of his horse's feet, shall he tread down all thy streets. He shall slay thy people with the sword, and break down the pillars of thy strength.

12. వారు నీ ఐశ్వర్యమును దోచుకొందురు, నీ వర్తకమును అపహరింతురు, నీ ప్రాకారములను పడగొట్టుదురు, నీ విలాస మందిరములను పాడుచేయుదురు, నీ రాళ్లను నీ కలపను నీ మంటిని నీళ్లలో ముంచివేయుదురు.

12. They shall waste away thy riches, and spoil thy merchandise. Thy walls shall they break down, and destroy thy houses of pleasure. Thy stones, thy timber and foundations shall they cast in the water.

13. ఇట్లు నేను నీ సంగీతనాదమును మాన్పించెదను, నీ సితారా నాదమికను వినబడదు,

13. Thus will I bring the melody of thy songs, and the voice of thy minstrelsy to an end, so that they shall no more be heard.

14. నిన్ను వట్టిబండగా చేయుదును, వలలు పరచుకొనుటకు చోటగుదువు నీవికను కట్టబడక యుందువు. నేనే మాట యిచ్చియున్నాను; ఇదే ప్రభువగు యెహోవా వాక్కు.

14. I will make a bare stone of thee, yea a drying place for nets, an shall never be builded again: For even I the LORD have spoken it, sayeth the Lord GOD:(LORDE God)

15. తూరునుగూర్చి ప్రభువగు యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చు నదేమనగా నీవు కూలునప్పుడు కలుగు ధ్వనియు, హతులగుచున్నవారి కేకలును, నీలో జరుగు గొప్పవధయు ద్వీపములు విని కంపించును.

15. Thus hath the Lord GOD(LORDE God) spoken concerning Tyre; The isles shall be moved at the noise of thy fall, and at the cry of the slain, that shall be murdered in thee.

16. సముద్రపు అధిపతులందరును తమ సింహాసనములమీదనుండి దిగి, తమ చొక్కాయి లను విచిత్రమైన వస్త్రములను తీసివేసి, దిగులుపడిన వారై నేలను కూర్చుండి గడగడ వణకుచు నిన్ను చూచి విస్మయపడుదురు.

16. All kings of the sea shall come down from their seats regal: they shall lay away their robes, and put off their costly clothing: Yea with trembling shall they be clothed, they shall sit upon the ground: they shall be afraid at thy sudden fall, and be abashed at thee.

17. వారు నిన్నుగూర్చి అంగలార్పు వచన మెత్తి ఈలాగున అందురుసముద్ర నివాసమైనదానా, ఖ్యాతినొందిన పట్ణణమా, నీవెట్లు నాశనమైతివి? సముద్ర ప్రయాణము చేయుటవలన దానికిని దాని నివాసులకును బలము కలిగెను, సముద్రవాసులందరిని భీతిల్లచేసినది ఇదే.

17. They shall mourn for thee, and say unto thee: O thou noble city, that hast been so greatly occupied of old, thou that hast been the strongest upon the sea with thine inhabiters of whom all men stood in fear: How art thou now so utterly destroyed?

18. ఇప్పుడు నీవు కూలినందున ద్వీపములు కంపించుచున్నవి, నీవు వెళ్లిపోవుట చూచి సముద్రద్వీపములు కదలు చున్నవి.

18. Now at the time of thy fall the inhabiters of the Isles; Yea and the Iles themselves, shall stand in fear at thine end.

19. ప్రభువైన యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చునదేమనగా నివాసులులేని పట్టణములవలెనే నేను నిన్ను పాడుచేయునప్పుడు మహా సముద్రము నిన్ను ముంచునట్లుగా నీ మీదికి నేను అగాధజలములను రప్పించెదను, పురాతన కాలమందు పాతాళములోనికి దిగిపోయినవారియొద్ద నీ వుండునట్లు నేను నిన్ను పడవేసి, నీవు జనములేని దాన వగుటకై పురాతనకాలములో పాడైన జనులయొద్ద భూమి క్రిందనున్న స్థలములలో నీకు నివాసము నిర్ణయింతును, పాతాళములోనికి దిగి పోవువారితో కూడ నిన్ను నివసింప జేసెదను.

19. For thus sayeth the Lord GOD:(LORDE God) when I make thee a desolate city, (as other cities be, that no man dwell in) and when I bring the deep upon thee, that great waters may cover thee:

20. మరియు సజీవులు నివసించు భూమిమీద నేను మహాఘనకార్యము కలుగజేతును;

20. Then will I cast thee down unto them, that descend into the pit, unto a people that hath been long dead, and set thee in a land that is beneath, like the old wilderness, with them which go down to their graves, so that no man shall dwell more in thee. And I will make thee to be no more in honor, in the land of the living.

21. నిన్ను భీతికి కారణముగా జేతును, నీవు లేకపోవుదువు, ఎంత వెదకినను నీవెన్నటికిని కనబడక యుందువు; ఇదే ప్రభువైన యెహోవా వాక్కు.

21. I will make an end of thee, and thou shalt be gone. Though thou be sought for, yet shalt thou not be found for evermore, sayeth the Lord GOD.(LORDE God)
