1. పదియవ సంవత్సరము పదియవ నెల పండ్రెండవ దినమున యెహోవా వాక్కు నాకు ప్రత్యక్షమై యీలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను

1. On the twelfth day of the tenth month in the tenth year, the Word of the Lord came to me saying,

2. నరపుత్రుడా, నీ ముఖమును ఐగుప్తురాజైన ఫరోవైపు త్రిప్పుకొని అతనిగూర్చియు ఐగుప్తు దేశ మంతటినిగూర్చియు ఈ సమాచారమెత్తి ప్రవచింపుము ప్రభువగు యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చునదేమనగా

2. 'Son of man, look toward Pharaoh king of Egypt, and speak against him and against all Egypt.

3. ఐగుప్తు రాజైన ఫరో, నైలునదిలో పండుకొనియున్న పెద్దమొసలీ, నేను నీకు విరోధిని; నైలునది నాది, నేనే దాని కలుగ జేసితిని అని నీవు చెప్పుకొనుచున్నావే;

3. Tell them, 'The Lord God says, 'I am against you, Pharaoh king of Egypt. You are the big animal that lies in his rivers and says, 'The Nile is mine. I made it.'

4. నేను నీ దవుడలకు గాలములు తగిలించి, నీ నదులలోనున్న చేపలను నీ పొలుసులకు అంటజేసి, నైలులోనుండి నిన్నును నీ పొలుసులకు అంటిన నైలు చేపలన్నిటిని బయటికి లాగెదను.

4. I will put hooks in your mouth. I will make the fish of your rivers stick to your hard skin. And I will pull you up out of your rivers, with the fish that stick to your hard skin.

5. నిన్నును నైలునది చేపలన్నిటిని అరణ్యములో పారబోసెదను, ఎత్తు వాడును కూర్చువాడును లేక నీవు తెరపనేల మీద పడుదువు, అడవిమృగములకును ఆకాశపక్షులకును ఆహారముగా నిచ్చెదను.

5. Then I will leave you in the desert, you and all the fish of your rivers. You will fall on the open field, and not be gathered or buried. I will feed you to the wild animals of the earth and to the birds of the sky.

6. అప్పుడు నేను యెహోవానై యున్నానని ఐగుప్తీయులందరు తెలిసికొందరు. ఐగుప్తు ఇశ్రాయేలీయులకు రెల్లుపుల్లవంటి చేతికఱ్ఱ ఆయెను;

6. Then all the people of Egypt will know that I am the Lord. They have been only a weak piece of river grass to the people of Israel.

7. వారు నిన్ను చేత పట్టుకొనినప్పుడు నీవు విరిగిపోయి వారి ప్రక్కలలో గుచ్చుకొంటివి, వారు నీమీద ఆనుకొనగా నీవు విరిగిపోయి వారి నడుములు విరిగిపోవుటకు కారణమైతివి.

7. When they took hold of you with their hands, you broke and tore all their shoulders. When they rested on you, you broke and hurt their backs.'

8. కాబట్టి ప్రభువైన యెహోవా ఈ మాట సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు నేను నీమీదికి ఖడ్గము రప్పించి, మనుష్యులను పశువులను నీలోనుండి నిర్మూలము చేసెదను,

8. So the Lord God says, 'I will bring a sword against you and kill your people and animals.

9. ఐగుప్తుదేశము నిర్మానుష్యమై పాడుగా ఉండును, అప్పుడు నేను యెహోవానై యున్నానని వారు తెలిసికొందురు. నైలునది నాది, నేనే దాని కలుగజేసితినని అతడనుకొను చున్నాడు గనుక

9. And the land of Egypt will be destroyed and laid waste. Then they will know that I am the Lord. 'Because you said, 'The Nile is mine, and I made it,'

10. నేను నీకును నీ నదికిని విరోధినైతిని, ఐగుప్తు దేశమును మిగ్దోలు మొదలుకొని సెవేనేవరకు కూషు సరిహద్దు వరకు బొత్తిగా పాడుచేసి యెడారిగా ఉంచెదను.

10. I am against you and against your rivers. I will destroy Egypt and make it nothing but waste from Migdol to Syene and even to the land of Ethiopia.

11. దానిలో మనుష్యులు సంచరించరు, పశువులు తిరుగవు; నలువది సంవత్సరములు అది నిర్నివాసముగా ఉండును.

11. No foot of man or animal will pass through it, and no one will live there for forty years.

12. నిర్మానుష్యముగానున్న దేశముల మధ్యను ఐగుప్తుదేశమును పాడగునట్టుగా చేసెదను, పాడై పోయిన పట్టణములమధ్యను దాని పట్టణములు నలువది సంవత్సరములు పాడైయుండును, ఐగుప్తీయులను జనముల లోనికి చెదరగొట్టుదును, ఆ యా దేశములకు వారిని వెళ్ల గొట్టుదును.

12. I will make the land of Egypt a waste among the lands which are laid waste. Her cities will be a waste for forty years among cities that are laid waste. I will divide the Egyptians among the nations and spread them out among the lands.'

13. ప్రభువైన యెహోవా ఈ మాట సెల విచ్చుచున్నాడు నలువది సంవత్సరములు జరిగిన తరువాత ఐగుప్తీయులు చెదరిపోయిన జనులలోనుండి నేను వారిని సమకూర్చెదను.

13. 'For the Lord God says, 'At the end of forty years I will gather the Egyptians from the nations where they were divided.

14. చెరలోనుండి వారిని తోడుకొని పత్రోసు అను వారి స్వదేశములోనికి వారిని మరల రప్పించెదను, అక్కడ వారు హీనమైన యొక రాజ్యముగా ఉందురు,

14. I will bring them back to Egypt and let them live in Pathros, the land they came from. And there they will be a small nation.

15. వారికను జనములమీద అతిశయపడకుండు నట్లు రాజ్యము లన్నిటిలో వారు హీనమైన రాజ్యముగా ఉందురు; వారు ఇక రాష్ట్రములమీద ప్రభుత్వము చేయ కుండునట్లు నేను వారిని తగ్గించెదను.

15. It will be the least of the nations, and will never lift itself up above other nations again. I will make them so small that they will never rule over the nations.

16. ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు తాము చేసిన దోషము మనస్సునకు తెచ్చుకొని వారి తట్టు తిరిగినయెడల ఐగుప్తీయులు ఇక వారికి ఆధారముగా ఉండరు, అప్పుడు నేను ప్రభువైన యెహోవానై యున్నానని వారు తెలిసికొందురు.

16. It will never again be a hope for the people of Israel. They will remember their sin in turning to Egypt for help in the past. Then they will know that I am the Lord God.' ' '

17. ఇరువదియేడవ సంవత్సరము మొదటినెల మొదటి దినమున యెహోవా వాక్కు నాకు ప్రత్యక్షమై యీలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను.

17. On the first day of the first month in the twenty-seventh year, the Word of the Lord came to me saying,

18. నరపుత్రుడా, తూరు పట్టణముమీద బబులోనురాజైన నెబుకద్రెజరు తన సైన్యముచేత బహు ఆయాసకరమైన పని చేయించెను, వారందరి తలలు బోడి వాయెను, అందరి భుజములు కొట్టుకొని పోయెను; అయినను తూరుపట్టణముమీద అతడు చేసిన కష్టమునుబట్టి అతనికైనను, అతని సైన్యమునకైనను కూలి యెంత మాత్రమును దొరకకపోయెను.

18. 'Son of man, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon made his army work hard against Tyre. Every head lost its hair, and skin was rubbed off every shoulder. But he and his army did not receive anything from Tyre to pay for the work he had done against it.'

19. కాబట్టి ప్రభువైన యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చునదేమనగా ఐగుప్తుదేశమును బబులోను రాజైన నెబుకద్రెజరునకు నేను అప్పగించు చున్నాను, అతడు దాని ఆస్తిని పట్టుకొని దాని సొమ్మును దోచుకొని కొల్లపెట్టును, అది అతని సైన్యమునకు జీతమగును.

19. So the Lord God says, 'I will give the land of Egypt to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon. And he will carry away her riches. He will take all her good things, and they will be pay for his army.

20. తూరుపట్టణముమీద అతడు చేసినది నా నిమిత్తమే చేసెను గనుక అందుకు బహుమానముగా దానిని అప్పగించుచున్నాను; ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు.

20. I have given him the land of Egypt for the work he has done, because he and his army worked for Me,' says the Lord God.

21. ఆ దినమందు నేను ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల కొమ్ము చిగిరింప జేసి వారిలో మాటలాడుటకు నీకు ధైర్యము కలుగజేసెదను, అప్పుడు నేను యెహోవానైయున్నానని వారు తెలిసికొందురు.

21. 'On that day I will make the people of Israel strong, and give you the power to speak among them. Then they will know that I am the Lord.'
