2. Thou son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy and speak unto them: Thus sayeth the Lord GOD:(LORDE God) Woe be unto the shepherds of Israel, that feed themselves. Should not the shepherds feed the flocks?

3. మీరు క్రొవ్విన గొఱ్ఱెలను వధించి క్రొవ్వును తిని బొచ్చును కప్పుకొందురు గాని గొఱ్ఱె లను మేపరు,

3. Ye have eaten up the fat, ye have clothe you with the wool: the best fed have ye slain, but the flock have ye not nourished.

4. బలహీనమైనవాటిని మీరు బలపరచరు, రోగముగలవాటిని స్వస్థపరచరు, గాయపడిన వాటికి కట్టుకట్టరు, తోలివేసిన వాటిని మరల తోలుకొనిరారు, తప్పిపోయినవాటిని వెదకరు, అది మాత్రమేగాక మీరు కఠినమనస్కులై బలాత్కారముతో వాటిని ఏలుదురు.

4. The weak have ye not holden up, the sick have ye not healed: the broken have ye not bound together, the outcasts have ye not brought again: the lost have ye not sought, but churlishly and cruelly have ye ruled them.

5. Thus are they scattered here and there without a shepherd: yea all the beasts of the field devour them, and they go astray.

6. My sheep go wandering upon all mountains, and upon every high hill. Yea they be scattered abroad in all fields, and there is no man, that careth for them, or seeketh after them.

7. Therefore O ye shepherds, hear the word of the LORD.

8. కాపరులు లేకుండ నా గొఱ్ఱెలు దోపుడుసొమ్మయి సకలమైన అడవిమృగములకు ఆహార మాయెను; కాపరులు నా గొఱ్ఱెలను విచారింపరు, తమ కడుపు మాత్రమే నింపుకొందురు గాని గొఱ్ఱెలను మేపరు; ఇదే ప్రభువైన యెహోవా వాక్కు.

8. Thus sayeth the Lord GOD:(LORDE God) As truly as I live, for so much as my sheep are robbed, and devoured of all the wild beasts of the field, having no shepherd: and seeing that my shepherds take no regard of my sheep, but feed themselves only, and not my sheep:

9. కాబట్టి కాపరులారా యెహోవా మాట ఆలకించుడి.

9. Therefore hear the word of the LORD, O ye shepherds:

10. ప్రభువైన యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చునదేమనగా నా జీవముతోడు నేను ఆ కాపరులకు విరోధినైతిని, నా గొఱ్ఱెలనుగూర్చి వారియొద్ద విచారించెదను, వారు గొఱ్ఱెలు మేపుట మాన్పించెదను, ఇకను కాపరులు తమ కడుపు నింపుకొన జాలక యుందురు; నా గొఱ్ఱెలు వారికి తిండికాకుండ వారి నోటనుండి వాటిని తప్పించెదను, ఇదే ప్రభువైన యెహోవా వాక్కు.

10. Thus sayeth the Lord GOD:(LORDE God) Behold, I myself will upon the shepherds, and require my sheep from their hands, and make them cease from feeding of my sheep: Yea the shepherds shall feed themselves no more: For I will deliver my sheep out of their mouths, so that they shall not devour them after this.

11. ప్రభువైన యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చునదేమనగా ఇదిగో నేను నేనే నా గొఱ్ఱెలను వెదకి వాటిని కనుగొందును.

11. For thus sayeth the Lord GOD:(LORDE God) Behold, I will look to my sheep myself, and seek them.

12. తమ గొఱ్ఱెలు చెదరిపోయినప్పుడు కాపరులు వాటిని వెదకునట్లు నేను నా గొఱ్ఱెలను వెదకి, చీకటిగల మబ్బుదినమందు ఎక్కడెక్కడికి అవి చెదరిపోయెనో అక్కడనుండి నేను వాటిని తప్పించి

12. Like as a shepherd among the flock seeketh after the sheep that are scattered abroad, even so will I seek after my sheep, and gather them together out of all places, where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day.

13. ఆ యా జనులలోనుండి వాటిని తోడుకొని వచ్చి, ఆ యా దేశములలోనుండి వాటిని సమకూర్చి వాటి స్వదేశము లోనికి వాటిని తెచ్చి పర్వతములమీదను వాగులయొద్దను దేశమందున్న సకలమైన కాపురపు స్థలములందును వాటిని మేపెదను.

13. I will bring them out from all people, and gather them together out of all lands, I will bring them into their own land, and feed them upon the mountains of Israel, by the rivers, and in all the places of the country.

14. నేను మంచి మేతగలచోట వాటిని మేపెదను, ఇశ్రాయేలుయొక్క ఉన్నతస్థలములమీద వాటికి దొడ్డి యేర్పడును, అక్కడ అవి మంచి దొడ్డిలో పండు కొనును, ఇశ్రాయేలు పర్వతములమీద బలమైన మేతగల స్థలమందు అవి మేయును,

14. I will feed them in right good pastures, and upon the high mountains of Israel shall their folds be. There shall they lie in a good fold, and in a fat pasture shall they feed: even upon the mountains of Israel.

15. I will feed my sheep myself, and bring them to their rest, sayeth the Lord GOD.(LORDE God)

16. తప్పిపోయిన దానిని నేను వెదకుదును, తోలివేసిన దానిని మరల తోలుకొని వచ్చెదను, గాయపడినదానికి కట్టు కట్టు దును, దుర్బలముగా ఉన్నదానిని బలపరచుదును; అయితే క్రొవ్వినవాటికిని బలముగలవాటికిని శిక్షయను మేతపెట్టి లయపరచెదను.

16. Such as be lost, will I seek: such as go astray, will I bring again: such as be wounded, will I bind up: such as be weak, will I make strong, such as be fat and well liking, those will I preserve, and feed them with the thing that is lawful.

17. నా మందా, మీ విషయమై దేవుడనైన యెహోవానగు నేను సెలవిచ్చునదేమనగా గొఱ్ఱెకును గొఱ్ఱెకును మధ్యను, గొఱ్ఱెలకును పొట్టేళ్ల కును మధ్యను, గొఱ్ఱెలకును మేకపోతులకును మధ్యను భేదము కనుగొని నేను తీర్పుతీర్చెదను.

17. And as for you (O my sheep) sayeth the Lord GOD:(LORDE God) I will put a difference among the sheep, among the wethers and the goats.

18. విశేషముగా మేతమేసి మిగిలిన దానిని కాళ్లతో త్రొక్కుట మీకు చాలదా?

18. Was it not enough for you, to eat up the good pasture, but ye must tread down the residue of your pastures with your feet also? Was it not enough for you to drink clear water, but ye must trouble the residue also with your feet?

19. మీరు స్వచ్ఛమైన నీరుత్రాగి మిగిలినదానిని కాళ్ళతో కలకలు చేయుట మీకుచాలదా? మీరు కాళ్లతో త్రొక్కినదానిని నా గొఱ్ఱెలు మేయవలెనా? కాళ్లతో మీరు బురదగా కలిపినదానిని అవి త్రాగవలెనా?

19. Thus my sheep must be fain to eat the thing, that ye have trodden down with your feet, and to drink it, that ye with your feet have defiled.

20. కాబట్టి ప్రభువైన యెహోవా ఈ మాట సెలవిచ్చు చున్నాడు ఇదిగో నేను నేనే క్రొవ్విన గొఱ్ఱెలకును చిక్కిపోయిన గొఱ్ఱెలకును మధ్య భేదము కనుగొని తీర్పు తీర్చుదును.

20. Therefore, thus sayeth the Lord GOD(LORDE God) unto them: Behold, I will sever the fat sheep from the lean:

21. మీరు భుజముతోను ప్రక్కతోను త్రోసి, కొమ్ములతో రోగముగల వాటినన్నిటిని పొడిచి చెదర గొట్టెదరు.

21. for so much as ye have shot the weak sheep upon the sides and shoulders, and run upon them with your horns, so long till ye have utterly scattered them abroad.

22. నా గొఱ్ఱెలు ఇక దోపుడు కాకుండ గొఱ్ఱె కును గొఱ్ఱెకును మధ్య తీర్పుతీర్చి నేను వాటిని రక్షించెదను.

22. I will help my sheep, so that they shall no more be spoiled: yea I will discern one sheep from another.

23. వాటిని మేపుటకై నేను నా సేవకుడైన దావీదును వాటిమీద కాపరినిగా నియమించెదను, అతడు వాటికి కాపరిగా ఉండి వాటిని మేపును.

23. I will raise up to them one only shepherd: even my servant David, he shall feed them, and he shall be their shepherd.

24. యెహోవానైన నేను వారికి దేవుడనై యుందును, నా సేవకుడైన దావీదు వారిమధ్య అధిపతిగా ఉండును, యెహోవానైన నేను మాటయిచ్చియున్నాను.

24. I the LORD will be their God, and my servant David shall be their prince: Even I the LORD have spoken it.

25. మరియు అవి అరణ్యములో నిర్భయముగా నివసించునట్లును, అడవిలో నిర్భయముగా పండుకొనునట్లును నేను వారితో సమాధానార్థ నిబంధన చేయుదును, దుష్టమృగములు దేశములో లేకుండ చేయుదును.

25. Moreover, I will make a covenant of peace with them, and drive all evil beasts out of the land: so that they may dwell safely in the wilderness, and sleep in the woods.

26. వారిని నా పర్వతము చుట్టుపట్ల స్థలములను దీవెనకరముగా చేయుదును. ఋతువుల ప్రకారము వర్షము కురిపించెదను, దీవెనకరమగు వర్షములు కురియును,

26. Good fortune and prosperity will I give them, and unto all that be round about my hill. A prosperous shewer and rain will I send them in due season,

27. ఫలవృక్ష ములు ఫలములిచ్చును, భూమి పంట పండును, వారు దేశములో నిర్భయముగా నివసింతురు, నేను వారి కాడికట్లను తెంపి వారిని దాసులుగా చేసినవారి చేతిలో నుండి వారిని విడిపింపగా నేను యెహోవానైయున్నానని వారు తెలిసికొందురు.

27. that the trees in the wood may bring forth their fruits, and the ground her increase. They shall be safe in their land, and shall know, that I am the LORD. which have broken their yoke, and delivered them out of the hands of those, that held them in subjection.

28. ఇక వారు అన్యజనులకు దోపుడు సొమ్ముగా ఉండరు, దుష్టమృగములు వారినిక భక్షింపవు, ఎవరివలనను భయము లేకుండ వారు సురక్షితముగా నివసించెదరు.

28. They shall no more be spoiled of the Heathen, nor devoured with the beasts of the land: but safely shall they dwell, and no man shall fraye them.

29. మరియు వారు ఇక దేశములో కరవు కలిగి నశించిపోకుండను అన్యజనులవలన వారి కవమానము ప్రాప్తించకుండను వారి ప్రఖ్యాతికొరకై తోట యొకటి నే నేర్పరచెదను.

29. I will set up an excellent plant for them, so that they shall suffer no more hunger in the land, neither bear the reproof of the Heathen any more.

30. అప్పుడు తమ దేవుడైన యెహోవానగు నేను తమకు తోడుగా ఉన్నాననియు, ఇశ్రాయేలీయులైన తాము నా జనులైయున్నారనియు వారు తెలిసికొందురు; ఇదే ప్రభువగు యెహోవా వాక్కు.

30. Thus shall they understand, that I the LORD their God am with them, and that they (even the house of Israel) are my people, sayeth the Lord GOD.(LORDE God)

31. నా గొఱ్ఱెలును నేను మేపుచున్న గొఱ్ఱెలు నగు మీరు మనుష్యులు, నేను మీ దేవుడను; ఇదే ప్రభువైన యెహోవా వాక్కు.

31. Ye men are my flock, ye are the sheep of my pasture: and I am your God, sayeth the Lord GOD.(LORDE God)
