1. ఆరవ సంవత్సరము ఆరవ నెల అయిదవ దినమున నేను నా యింట కూర్చునియుండగాను యూదా పెద్దలు నా యెదుట కూర్చుండియుండగాను ప్రభువైన యెహోవా హస్తము నామీదికి వచ్చెను.

1. It happened, that in the sixte yeare, the fifth daye of the sixte Moneth I sat in my house, and the LORDES off the councell off Iuda with me: and the honde off the LORDE God fell euen there vpo me.

2. అంతట నేను చూడగా అగ్నిని పోలిన ఆకారము నాకు కనబడెను, నడుము మొదలుకొని దిగువకు అగ్నిమయమైనట్టుగాను, నడుము మొదలుకొని పైకి తేజోమయమైనట్టుగాను, కరుగుచున్న అపరంజియైనట్టుగాను ఆయన నాకు కనబడెను.

2. And as I loked vp, I sawe as it were a licknesse off fyre from his loynes downwarde, and from his loynes vpwarde it shyned maruelous cleare.

3. మరియు చెయ్యివంటిది ఒకటి ఆయన చాపి నా తలవెండ్రుకలు పట్టుకొనగా ఆత్మ భూమ్యాకాశముల మధ్యకు నన్నెత్తి, నేను దేవుని దర్శనములను చూచుచుండగా యెరూష లేమునకు ఉత్తరపువైపుననున్న ఆవరణ ద్వారముదగ్గర రోషము పుట్టించు విగ్రహస్థానములో నన్ను దించెను.

3. This symilitude stretched out an honde, and toke me by the hayrie lockes off my heade, and the sprete lift me vp betwixte heauen and earth: and God brought me in a vision to Ierusalem, in to the courte off the inwarde porte that lieth towarde the north: there stode an ymage, with whom he that hath all thinges in his power, was very wroth.

4. అంతట లోయలో నాకు కనబడిన దర్శనరూపముగా ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల దేవుని ప్రభావము అచ్చట కనబడెను.

4. And beholde, the glory off the God off Israel was in the same place: eue as I had sene it afore in the felde.

5. నర పుత్రుడా, ఉత్తరపువైపు తేరి చూడుమని యెహోవా నాకు సెలవియ్యగా నేను ఉత్తరపువైపు తేరి చూచితిని; ఉత్తరపువైపున బలిపీఠపు గుమ్మము లోపల రోషము పుట్టించు ఈ విగ్రహము కనబడెను.

5. And he sayde vnto me: Thou sonne off man, O lift vp thine eyes, and loke towarde the north. Then lift I vp myne eyes towarde the north, and beholde: Besyde the porte northwarde, there was an aulter made vnto the ymage off prouocacion in the very entrynge in.

6. అంతట ఆయన నాతో ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చెనునరపుత్రుడా, వారు చేయు దానిని నీవు చూచుచున్నావు గదా; నా పరిశుద్ధస్థలమును నేను విడిచిపోవునట్లుగా ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు ఇక్కడ చేయు అత్యధికమైన హేయకృత్యములు చూచితివా? యీతట్టు తిరిగినయెడల వీటికంటె మరి యధికమైన హేయక్రియలు చూచెదవు.

6. And he sayde furthermore vnto me: Thou sonne off man, Seist thou what these do? Seist thou the greate abhominacions that the house off Israel commytte in this place? which ought not to be done in my sanctuary? But turne the aboute, and thou shalt se yet greater abhominacions.

7. అప్పుడు ఆవరణద్వారముదగ్గర నన్ను ఆయన దింపగా గోడలోనున్న సందు ఒకటి నాకు కన బడెను.

7. And with that brought he me to the courte gate: and whe I loked, beholde, there was an hole in the wall.

8. నరపుత్రుడా, ఆ గోడకు కన్నము త్రవ్వు మని ఆయన నాకు సెలవియ్యగా నేను గోడకు కన్నము త్రవ్వినంతలో ద్వారమొకటి కనబడెను.

8. Then sayde he vnto me: Thou sonne off man, dygge thorow the wall. And when I dygged thorow the wall, beholde, there was a dore.

9. నీవు లోపలికి చొచ్చి, యిక్కడ వారెట్టి హేయకృత్యములు చేయు చున్నారో చూడుమని ఆయన నాకు సెలవియ్యగా

9. And he sayde vnto me: go thy waye in, & loke what wicked abhominacions they do there.

10. నేను లోపలికి పోయి చూచితిని; అప్పుడు ప్రాకెడి సకల జంతువుల ఆకారములును హేయమైన మృగముల ఆకారములును, అనగా ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల దేవతల విగ్రహ ములన్నియు గోడమీద చుట్టును వ్రాయబడియున్నట్టు కనబడెను.

10. So I wente in, and sawe: and beholde, there were all maner ymages off wormes & beastes, all Idols and abhominacions of ye house off Israel paynted euerychone rounde aboute the wall.

11. మరియు ఒక్కొకడు తన చేతిలో ధూపార్తి పట్టుకొని ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల పెద్దలు డెబ్బది మందియు, వారిమధ్యను షాఫాను కుమారుడైన యజన్యాయు, ఆ యాకారములకు ఎదురుగా నిలిచి యుండగా, చిక్కని మేఘమువలె ధూపవాసన ఎక్కుచుండెను.

11. There stode also before the ymages lxx. lordes of the councell off the house off Israel: and in the myddest off them stode Iaasanias the sonne off Saphan: And euery one off them had a censoure in his honde, & out off the incense, there wente a smoke, as it had bene a cloude.

12. అప్పుడా యన నాకు సెలవిచ్చినదేమనగానరపుత్రుడా యెహోవా మమ్మును కానక యుండును, యెహోవా దేశ మును విసర్జించెను అని యనుకొని, ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల పెద్దలు చీకటిలో తమ విగ్రహపు గదులలో వారిలో ప్రతివాడు చేయుదానిని నీవు చూచుచున్నావు గదా.

12. Then sayde he vnto me: Thou sonne off man, hast thou sene what the Senatours off the house off Israel do secretly, euery one in his chambre? For they saye: Tush, the LORDE seth vs not, the LORDE regardeth not the worlde.

13. మరియు ఆయననీవు ఈతట్టు తిరుగుము, వీటిని మించిన అతి హేయకృత్యములు వారు చేయుట చూతువని నాతో చెప్పి

13. And he sayde vnto me: Turne the yet agayne, and thou shat se the greate abhominacions that they do.

14. యెహోవా మందిరపు ఉత్తర ద్వారము దగ్గర నన్ను దింపగా, అక్కడ స్త్రీలు కూర్చుండి తమ్మూజు దేవతనుగూర్చి యేడ్చుట చూచితిని.

14. And with that, he brought me to the dore off the porte off the LORDES house, towarde the north. And beholde, there sat women mournynge for Thamus.

15. అప్పుడాయననరపుత్రుడా, యిది చూచితివి గాని నీవు తిరిగి చూచిన యెడల వీటిని మించిన హేయకృత్యములు చూతువని నాతో చెప్పి

15. Then sayde he vnto me: hast thou sene this, thou sonne of ma? Turne ye aboute, & thou shalt se yet greater abhominacions.

16. యెహోవా మందిరపు లోపలి ఆవరణ ములో నన్ను దింపగా, అక్కడ యెహోవా ఆలయ ద్వారము దగ్గరనున్న ముఖమంటపమునకును బలిపీఠమున కును మధ్యను ఇంచుమించు ఇరువది యయిదుగురు మను ష్యులు కనబడిరి. వారి వీపులు యెహోవా ఆలయము తట్టును వారి ముఖములు తూర్పుతట్టును తిరిగి యుండెను; వారు తూర్పున నున్న సూర్యునికి నమస్కారము చేయు చుండిరి.

16. And so he brought me in to the inwarde courte of the LORDES house: & beholde, at the porte of the LORDES house, betwixte the fore entrie and the aulter, there were fyue and twenty men, that turned their backes vpon the Temple of the LORDE, & their faces towarde the easte, and these worshipped the Sonne.

17. అప్పుడాయన నాతో ఇట్లనెనునరపుత్రుడా, నీవు చూచితివే; యూదావారు ఇక్కడ ఇట్టి హేయ కృత్యములు జరిగించుట చాలదా? వారు దేశమును బలా త్కారముతో నింపుచు నాకు కోపము పుట్టించుదురు, తీగె ముక్కునకు పెట్టుచు మరి ఎక్కువగా నాకు కోపము పుట్టించుదురు.

17. And he sayde vnto me: hast thou sene this, thou sonne of man? Thinketh the house of Israel, that it is but a trifle, to do these abhominacions here? Shulde they fyll the londe full of wickednesse, and vndertake to prouoke me vnto anger? Yee & purposly to cast vp their noses vpon me?

18. కాబట్టి కటాక్షము లేకయు కనికరము చూపకయు నేను నా క్రోధమునగుపరచి, వారు నా చెవులలో ఎంత బిగ్గరగా మొఱ్ఱపెట్టినను నేను ఆలకింప కుందును.

18. Therfore wil I also do some thinge in my wrothfull displeasure, so that myne eye shall not ouersee them, nether wil I spare them. Yee and though they crie in myne eares with loude voyce, yet wil I not heare them.
