1. ఆరవ సంవత్సరము ఆరవ నెల అయిదవ దినమున నేను నా యింట కూర్చునియుండగాను యూదా పెద్దలు నా యెదుట కూర్చుండియుండగాను ప్రభువైన యెహోవా హస్తము నామీదికి వచ్చెను.

1. And in the sixt yere, in the sixt moneth, and in the fift day of the moneth, as I sate in mine house, and the Elders of Iudah sate before me, the hand of the Lord God fell there vpon me.

2. అంతట నేను చూడగా అగ్నిని పోలిన ఆకారము నాకు కనబడెను, నడుము మొదలుకొని దిగువకు అగ్నిమయమైనట్టుగాను, నడుము మొదలుకొని పైకి తేజోమయమైనట్టుగాను, కరుగుచున్న అపరంజియైనట్టుగాను ఆయన నాకు కనబడెను.

2. Then I beheld, and lo, there was a likenesse, as the appearance of fire, to looke to, from his loynes downeward, and from his loynes vpward, as the appearance of brightnes, and like vnto amber.

3. మరియు చెయ్యివంటిది ఒకటి ఆయన చాపి నా తలవెండ్రుకలు పట్టుకొనగా ఆత్మ భూమ్యాకాశముల మధ్యకు నన్నెత్తి, నేను దేవుని దర్శనములను చూచుచుండగా యెరూష లేమునకు ఉత్తరపువైపుననున్న ఆవరణ ద్వారముదగ్గర రోషము పుట్టించు విగ్రహస్థానములో నన్ను దించెను.

3. And he stretched out the likenes of an had, and tooke me by an hearie locke of mine head, and the Spirit lift me vp betweene the earth, and the heauen, and brought mee by a Diuine vision to Ierusalem, into the entry of ye inner gate that lieth toward the North, where remained the idole of indignation, which prouoked indignation.

4. అంతట లోయలో నాకు కనబడిన దర్శనరూపముగా ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల దేవుని ప్రభావము అచ్చట కనబడెను.

4. And beholde, the glorie of the God of Israel was there according to the vision, that I saw in the fielde.

5. నర పుత్రుడా, ఉత్తరపువైపు తేరి చూడుమని యెహోవా నాకు సెలవియ్యగా నేను ఉత్తరపువైపు తేరి చూచితిని; ఉత్తరపువైపున బలిపీఠపు గుమ్మము లోపల రోషము పుట్టించు ఈ విగ్రహము కనబడెను.

5. Then saide he vnto mee, Sonne of man, lift vp thine eyes nowe towarde the North. So I lift vp mine eyes towarde the North, and beholde, Northward, at the gate of the altar, this idole of indignation was in the entrie.

6. అంతట ఆయన నాతో ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చెనునరపుత్రుడా, వారు చేయు దానిని నీవు చూచుచున్నావు గదా; నా పరిశుద్ధస్థలమును నేను విడిచిపోవునట్లుగా ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు ఇక్కడ చేయు అత్యధికమైన హేయకృత్యములు చూచితివా? యీతట్టు తిరిగినయెడల వీటికంటె మరి యధికమైన హేయక్రియలు చూచెదవు.

6. He said furthermore vnto me, Sonne of man, seest thou not what they doe? euen the great abominations that the house of Israel committeth here to cause me to depart from my Sanctuarie? but yet turne thee and thou shalt see greater abominations.

7. అప్పుడు ఆవరణద్వారముదగ్గర నన్ను ఆయన దింపగా గోడలోనున్న సందు ఒకటి నాకు కన బడెను.

7. And he caused me to enter at the gate of the court: and when I looked, beholde, an hole was in the wall.

8. నరపుత్రుడా, ఆ గోడకు కన్నము త్రవ్వు మని ఆయన నాకు సెలవియ్యగా నేను గోడకు కన్నము త్రవ్వినంతలో ద్వారమొకటి కనబడెను.

8. Then said he vnto me, Sonne of man, digge nowe in the wall. And when I had digged in the wall, beholde, there was a doore.

9. నీవు లోపలికి చొచ్చి, యిక్కడ వారెట్టి హేయకృత్యములు చేయు చున్నారో చూడుమని ఆయన నాకు సెలవియ్యగా

9. And he said vnto mee, Go in, and beholde the wicked abominations that they doe here.

10. నేను లోపలికి పోయి చూచితిని; అప్పుడు ప్రాకెడి సకల జంతువుల ఆకారములును హేయమైన మృగముల ఆకారములును, అనగా ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల దేవతల విగ్రహ ములన్నియు గోడమీద చుట్టును వ్రాయబడియున్నట్టు కనబడెను.

10. So I went in, and sawe, and beholde, there was euery similitude of creeping thinges and abominable beasts and all the idoles of the house of Israel painted vpon the wall round about.

11. మరియు ఒక్కొకడు తన చేతిలో ధూపార్తి పట్టుకొని ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల పెద్దలు డెబ్బది మందియు, వారిమధ్యను షాఫాను కుమారుడైన యజన్యాయు, ఆ యాకారములకు ఎదురుగా నిలిచి యుండగా, చిక్కని మేఘమువలె ధూపవాసన ఎక్కుచుండెను.

11. And there stoode before them seuentie men of the Ancients of the house of Israel, and in the middes of them stoode Iaazaniah, ye sonne of Shaphan, with euerie man his censour in his hand, and the vapour of the incense went vp like a cloude.

12. అప్పుడా యన నాకు సెలవిచ్చినదేమనగానరపుత్రుడా యెహోవా మమ్మును కానక యుండును, యెహోవా దేశ మును విసర్జించెను అని యనుకొని, ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల పెద్దలు చీకటిలో తమ విగ్రహపు గదులలో వారిలో ప్రతివాడు చేయుదానిని నీవు చూచుచున్నావు గదా.

12. Then saide hee vnto mee, Sonne of man, hast thou seene what the Ancients of the house of Israel do in the darke, euery one in the chamber of his imagerie? for they say, The Lord seeth vs not, the Lord hath forsaken the earth.

13. మరియు ఆయననీవు ఈతట్టు తిరుగుము, వీటిని మించిన అతి హేయకృత్యములు వారు చేయుట చూతువని నాతో చెప్పి

13. Againe he saide also vnto me, Turne thee againe, and thou shalt see greater abominations that they doe.

14. యెహోవా మందిరపు ఉత్తర ద్వారము దగ్గర నన్ను దింపగా, అక్కడ స్త్రీలు కూర్చుండి తమ్మూజు దేవతనుగూర్చి యేడ్చుట చూచితిని.

14. And he caused me to enter into the entrie of the gate of the Lords house, which was toward the North: and beholde there sate women mourning for Tammuz.

15. అప్పుడాయననరపుత్రుడా, యిది చూచితివి గాని నీవు తిరిగి చూచిన యెడల వీటిని మించిన హేయకృత్యములు చూతువని నాతో చెప్పి

15. Then saide hee vnto me, Hast thou seene this, O sonne of man? Turne thee againe, and thou shalt see greater abominations then these.

16. యెహోవా మందిరపు లోపలి ఆవరణ ములో నన్ను దింపగా, అక్కడ యెహోవా ఆలయ ద్వారము దగ్గరనున్న ముఖమంటపమునకును బలిపీఠమున కును మధ్యను ఇంచుమించు ఇరువది యయిదుగురు మను ష్యులు కనబడిరి. వారి వీపులు యెహోవా ఆలయము తట్టును వారి ముఖములు తూర్పుతట్టును తిరిగి యుండెను; వారు తూర్పున నున్న సూర్యునికి నమస్కారము చేయు చుండిరి.

16. And he caused me to enter into the inner court of the Lordes house, and beholde, at the doore of the Temple of the Lord, betweene the porche and the altar were about fiue and twentie men with their backs toward the Temple of the Lord, and their faces towarde the East, and they worshipped the sunne, towarde the East.

17. అప్పుడాయన నాతో ఇట్లనెనునరపుత్రుడా, నీవు చూచితివే; యూదావారు ఇక్కడ ఇట్టి హేయ కృత్యములు జరిగించుట చాలదా? వారు దేశమును బలా త్కారముతో నింపుచు నాకు కోపము పుట్టించుదురు, తీగె ముక్కునకు పెట్టుచు మరి ఎక్కువగా నాకు కోపము పుట్టించుదురు.

17. The he said vnto me, Hast thou seene this, O sonne of man? Is it a small thing to the house of Iudah to commit these abominations which they do here? for they haue filled the land with crueltie, and haue returned to prouoke mee: and loe, they haue cast out stinke before their noses.

18. కాబట్టి కటాక్షము లేకయు కనికరము చూపకయు నేను నా క్రోధమునగుపరచి, వారు నా చెవులలో ఎంత బిగ్గరగా మొఱ్ఱపెట్టినను నేను ఆలకింప కుందును.

18. Therefore will I also execute my wrath: mine eye shall not spare them, neither will I haue pitie, and though they crie in mine eares with a loude voyce, yet will I not heare them.
