1. ఆరవ సంవత్సరము ఆరవ నెల అయిదవ దినమున నేను నా యింట కూర్చునియుండగాను యూదా పెద్దలు నా యెదుట కూర్చుండియుండగాను ప్రభువైన యెహోవా హస్తము నామీదికి వచ్చెను.

1. And it was doon in the sixte yeer, in the sixte monethe, in the fyuethe dai of the monethe, Y sat in myn hous, and the elde men of Juda saten bifore me; and the hond of the Lord God felle there on me.

2. అంతట నేను చూడగా అగ్నిని పోలిన ఆకారము నాకు కనబడెను, నడుము మొదలుకొని దిగువకు అగ్నిమయమైనట్టుగాను, నడుము మొదలుకొని పైకి తేజోమయమైనట్టుగాను, కరుగుచున్న అపరంజియైనట్టుగాను ఆయన నాకు కనబడెను.

2. And Y siy, and lo! a licnesse as the biholdyng of fier; fro the biholding of hise leendis and bynethe was fier, and fro hise leendis and aboue was as the biholdyng of schynyng, as the siyt of electre.

3. మరియు చెయ్యివంటిది ఒకటి ఆయన చాపి నా తలవెండ్రుకలు పట్టుకొనగా ఆత్మ భూమ్యాకాశముల మధ్యకు నన్నెత్తి, నేను దేవుని దర్శనములను చూచుచుండగా యెరూష లేమునకు ఉత్తరపువైపుననున్న ఆవరణ ద్వారముదగ్గర రోషము పుట్టించు విగ్రహస్థానములో నన్ను దించెను.

3. And the licnesse of an hond was sent out, and took me bi the heer of myn heed; and the spirit reiside me bitwixe heuene and erthe, and brouyte me in to Jerusalem, in the siyt of God, bisidis the ynnere dore that bihelde to the north, where the idol of enuye was set, to stire indignacioun.

4. అంతట లోయలో నాకు కనబడిన దర్శనరూపముగా ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల దేవుని ప్రభావము అచ్చట కనబడెను.

4. And lo! the glorie of God of Israel was there, bi siyt which Y siy in the feeld.

5. నర పుత్రుడా, ఉత్తరపువైపు తేరి చూడుమని యెహోవా నాకు సెలవియ్యగా నేను ఉత్తరపువైపు తేరి చూచితిని; ఉత్తరపువైపున బలిపీఠపు గుమ్మము లోపల రోషము పుట్టించు ఈ విగ్రహము కనబడెను.

5. And he seide to me, Thou, sone of man, reise thin iyen to the weie of the north; and Y reiside myn iyen to the weie of the north, and lo! fro the north of the yate of the auter the idol of enuye was in that entryng.

6. అంతట ఆయన నాతో ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చెనునరపుత్రుడా, వారు చేయు దానిని నీవు చూచుచున్నావు గదా; నా పరిశుద్ధస్థలమును నేను విడిచిపోవునట్లుగా ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు ఇక్కడ చేయు అత్యధికమైన హేయకృత్యములు చూచితివా? యీతట్టు తిరిగినయెడల వీటికంటె మరి యధికమైన హేయక్రియలు చూచెదవు.

6. And he seide to me, Sone of man, gessist thou whether thou seest what thing these men doon, the grete abhomynaciouns whiche the hous of Israel doith here, that Y go fer awei fro my seyntuarie? and yit thou schalt turne, and schalt se grettere abhomynaciouns.

7. అప్పుడు ఆవరణద్వారముదగ్గర నన్ను ఆయన దింపగా గోడలోనున్న సందు ఒకటి నాకు కన బడెను.

7. And he ledde me with ynne to the dore of the halle; and Y siy, and lo! oon hoole in the wal.

8. నరపుత్రుడా, ఆ గోడకు కన్నము త్రవ్వు మని ఆయన నాకు సెలవియ్యగా నేను గోడకు కన్నము త్రవ్వినంతలో ద్వారమొకటి కనబడెను.

8. And he seide to me, Sone of man, digge thou the wal; and whanne Y hadde diggid the wal, o dore apperide.

9. నీవు లోపలికి చొచ్చి, యిక్కడ వారెట్టి హేయకృత్యములు చేయు చున్నారో చూడుమని ఆయన నాకు సెలవియ్యగా

9. And he seide to me, Entre thou, and se the worste abhomynaciouns, whiche these men doon here.

10. నేను లోపలికి పోయి చూచితిని; అప్పుడు ప్రాకెడి సకల జంతువుల ఆకారములును హేయమైన మృగముల ఆకారములును, అనగా ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల దేవతల విగ్రహ ములన్నియు గోడమీద చుట్టును వ్రాయబడియున్నట్టు కనబడెను.

10. And Y entride, and siy; and lo! ech licnesse of `crepynge beestis, and abhomynacioun of beestis, and alle idols of the hous of Israel, weren peyntid in the wal al aboute in cumpas.

11. మరియు ఒక్కొకడు తన చేతిలో ధూపార్తి పట్టుకొని ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల పెద్దలు డెబ్బది మందియు, వారిమధ్యను షాఫాను కుమారుడైన యజన్యాయు, ఆ యాకారములకు ఎదురుగా నిలిచి యుండగా, చిక్కని మేఘమువలె ధూపవాసన ఎక్కుచుండెను.

11. And seuenti men of the eldere of the hous of Israel stoden; and Jeconye, the sone of Saphan, stood in the myddis of hem, stondynge bifore the peyntyngis; and ech man hadde a censere in his hond, and the smoke of a cloude of encense stiede.

12. అప్పుడా యన నాకు సెలవిచ్చినదేమనగానరపుత్రుడా యెహోవా మమ్మును కానక యుండును, యెహోవా దేశ మును విసర్జించెను అని యనుకొని, ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల పెద్దలు చీకటిలో తమ విగ్రహపు గదులలో వారిలో ప్రతివాడు చేయుదానిని నీవు చూచుచున్నావు గదా.

12. And he seide to me, Certis, sone of man, thou seest what thingis the eldere men of the hous of Israel doen in derknessis, ech man in the hid place of his bed; for thei seiyn, The Lord seeth not vs, the Lord hath forsake the lond.

13. మరియు ఆయననీవు ఈతట్టు తిరుగుము, వీటిని మించిన అతి హేయకృత్యములు వారు చేయుట చూతువని నాతో చెప్పి

13. And the Lord seide to me, Yit thou schalt turne, and schalt se gretter abhomynaciouns, whiche these men doon.

14. యెహోవా మందిరపు ఉత్తర ద్వారము దగ్గర నన్ను దింపగా, అక్కడ స్త్రీలు కూర్చుండి తమ్మూజు దేవతనుగూర్చి యేడ్చుట చూచితిని.

14. And he ledde me with ynne, bi the dore of the yate of the hous of the Lord, which dore bihelde to the north; and lo! wymmen saten there, biweilynge Adonydes.

15. అప్పుడాయననరపుత్రుడా, యిది చూచితివి గాని నీవు తిరిగి చూచిన యెడల వీటిని మించిన హేయకృత్యములు చూతువని నాతో చెప్పి

15. And the Lord seide to me, Certis, sone of man, thou hast seyn; yit thou schalt turne, and schalt se gretere abhomynaciouns than these.

16. యెహోవా మందిరపు లోపలి ఆవరణ ములో నన్ను దింపగా, అక్కడ యెహోవా ఆలయ ద్వారము దగ్గరనున్న ముఖమంటపమునకును బలిపీఠమున కును మధ్యను ఇంచుమించు ఇరువది యయిదుగురు మను ష్యులు కనబడిరి. వారి వీపులు యెహోవా ఆలయము తట్టును వారి ముఖములు తూర్పుతట్టును తిరిగి యుండెను; వారు తూర్పున నున్న సూర్యునికి నమస్కారము చేయు చుండిరి.

16. And he ledde me with ynne, in to the ynnere halle of the hous of the Lord; and lo! in the dore of the temple of the Lord, bitwixe the porche and the auter, weren as fyue and twenti men hauynge the backis ayens the temple of the Lord, and her faces to the eest; and thei worschipiden at the risyng of the sunne.

17. అప్పుడాయన నాతో ఇట్లనెనునరపుత్రుడా, నీవు చూచితివే; యూదావారు ఇక్కడ ఇట్టి హేయ కృత్యములు జరిగించుట చాలదా? వారు దేశమును బలా త్కారముతో నింపుచు నాకు కోపము పుట్టించుదురు, తీగె ముక్కునకు పెట్టుచు మరి ఎక్కువగా నాకు కోపము పుట్టించుదురు.

17. And the Lord seide to me, Certis, sone of man, thou hast seyn; whether this is a liyt thing to the hous of Juda, that thei schulden do these abhomynaciouns, whiche thei diden here? For thei filliden the lond with wickidnesse, and turneden to terre me to wraththe; and lo! thei applien a braunche to her nose thirlis.

18. కాబట్టి కటాక్షము లేకయు కనికరము చూపకయు నేను నా క్రోధమునగుపరచి, వారు నా చెవులలో ఎంత బిగ్గరగా మొఱ్ఱపెట్టినను నేను ఆలకింప కుందును.

18. Therfor and Y schal do in strong veniaunce; myn iye schal not spare, nether Y schal do merci; and whanne thei schulen crie to myn eris with greet vois, Y schal not here hem.
