1. And Jehovah spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying to them,

2. Speak to the sons of Israel, saying, These are the living things which you shall eat out of all the animals which are on the earth.

3. జంతువులలో ఏది డెక్కలు గలదై నెమరువేయునో దాని తినవచ్చును గాని

3. Any that divides the hoof and is wholly clovenfooted, bringing up the cud, among the living things, you may eat it.

4. నెమరు వేయు వాటిలోను రెండు డెక్కలుగల వాటిలోను వీటిని తినకూడదు, ఒంటె నెమరువేయును గాని దానికి రెండు డెక్కలు లేవు గనుక అది మీకు అపవిత్రము.

4. Only, you may not eat these, of those bringing up the cud, and of those dividing the hoof: the camel, though it brings up the cud, yet it does not divide the hoof; it is unclean to you;

5. పొట్టి కుందేలు నెమరువేయును గాని దానికి రెండు డెక్కలు లేవు గనుక అది మీకు అపవిత్రము.

5. and the rock badger, though it brings up the cud, yet it does not divide the hoof; it is unclean to you;

6. కుందేలు నెమరు వేయును గాని దానికి రెండు డెక్కలు లేవు గనుక అది మీకు అపవిత్రము.

6. and the hare, though it brings up the cud, yet it does not divide the hoof; it is unclean to you;

7. పంది విడిగానుండు రెండు డెక్కలు గలదిగాని అది నెమరువేయదు గనుక అది మీకు అపవిత్రము.

7. and the swine, though it divides the hoof and is clovenfooted, yet it does not bring up the cud; it is unclean to you.

8. వాటి మాంసమును మీరు తిన కూడదు; వాటి కళేబరములను ముట్టకూడదు; అవి మీకు అపవిత్రములు.

8. You shall not eat of their flesh, and you shall not touch their dead body; they are unclean to you.

9. జలచరములన్నిటిలో వీటిని తినవచ్చును; సముద్ర ములో నేమి, నదులలో నేమి, యే నీళ్లలోనేమి, వేటికి రెక్కలు పొలుసులు ఉండునో వాటిని తినవచ్చును.

9. Of all that are in the waters, you shall eat these; any one that has fins and scales in the waters, in the seas, and in the torrents, you may eat them.

10. సముద్రములలోనేమి, నదులలోనేమి, సమస్త జలచరములలోను సమస్త జలజంతువులలోను వేటికి రెక్కలు పొలుసులు ఉండవో అవన్నియు మీకు హేయములు;

10. But any one that does not have fins and scales in the seas, and in the torrents, of any swarming creature of the waters, and of any creature which lives in the waters; they are to be detested by you.

11. అవి మీకు హేయములుగానే ఉండవలెను. వాటి మాంసమును తినకూడదు, వాటి కళేబరములను హేయములుగా ఎంచుకొనవలెను.

11. Yes, they shall be detested by you; you shall not eat of their flesh and you shall shun their dead bodies.

12. నీళ్లలో దేనికి రెక్కలు పొలుసులు ఉండవో అది మీకు హేయము.

12. Any one that does not have fins and scales in the waters, it shall be an unclean thing to you.

13. పక్షులలో వీటిని హేయములుగా ఎంచుకొనవలెను. వీటిని తినవద్దు ఇవి హేయములు; పక్షిరాజు, పెద్ద బోరువ,

13. And these you shall count unclean among the fowls; they shall not be eaten; they are unclean: the eagle, and the black vulture and the bearded vulture,

14. క్రౌంచపక్షి, గద్ద, తెల్లగద్ద, ప్రతివిధమైన గద్ద,

14. and the kite, and the falcon, according to its kind;

15. ప్రతివిధమైన కాకి, నిప్పుకోడి,

15. every raven according to its kind;

16. కపిరిగాడు, కోకిల,

16. and the ostrich, and the great owl, and the gull, and small hawks, according to its kind;

17. ప్రతివిధమైన డేగ,

17. and the little owl, and the cormorant, and the eared owl;

18. పైగిడికంటె, చెరువుకాకి, గుడ్లగూబ, హంస, గూడబాతు, నల్లబోరువ,

18. and the barn owl, and the pelican and the owl-vulture;

19. సంకుబుడి కొంగ, ప్రతివిధమైన కొంగ, కుకుడుగువ్వ, గబ్బిలము.

19. and the stork, the heron according to its kind, and the hoopoe, and the bat.

20. రెక్కలుకలిగి నాలుగుకాళ్లతో చరించు చరము లన్నియు మీకు హేయములు.

20. Every flying swarming creature going on all four, it is an abomination to you.

21. అయితే నాలుగుకాళ్లతో చరించుచు నేల గంతులువేయుటకు కాళ్లమీద తొడలు గల పురుగులన్ని తినవచ్చును.

21. Only, this you may eat of any swarming thing which flies, which goes on all four, which has legs above its feet, to leap with them on the earth;

22. నేత మిడతగాని చిన్న మిడతగాని ఆకుమిడతగాని మిడతలలో ప్రతివిధమైనది తినవచ్చును.

22. these are those you may eat: the locusts according to its kind, and the bald locust according to its kind, and the long horned locust according to its kind, and the short horned grasshopper according to its kind.

23. నాలుగు కాళ్లుగల పురుగులన్నియు మీకు హేయములు.

23. But every swarming thing which flies, which has four feet, it is unclean to you.

24. వాటివలన మీరు అపవిత్రులగుదురు వాటి కళేబరములను ముట్టిన ప్రతివాడు సాయంకాలము వరకు అపవిత్రుడగును.

24. And by these you shall be made unclean; any who touches their dead body is unclean until the evening.

25. వాటి కళేబరములలో కొంచె మైనను మోసిన ప్రతివాడు తన బట్టలు ఉదుకుకొని సాయంకాలమువరకు అపవిత్రుడగును.

25. And anyone who lifts up their dead body shall wash his garments and shall be unclean until the evening;

26. రెండుడెక్కలు గల జంతువులన్నిటిలో విడిగా చీలిన డెక్కలు లేకయు, నెమరు వేయకయు నుండునవి మీకు అపవిత్రములు, వాటి కళేబరములను ముట్టిన ప్రతివాడు అపవిత్రుడగును.

26. even every living thing which divides the hoof, and is not clovenfooted, and does not bring up the cud, they are unclean to you; anyone who touches them shall be unclean.

27. నాలుగు కాళ్లతో నడుచు సమస్త జీవరాసులలో ఏవి అరకాలితో నడుచునో అవన్నియు అపవిత్రములు; వాటి కళేబరములను ముట్టిన ప్రతివాడు సాయంకాలమువరకు అపవిత్రుడగును;

27. And any going on its paws among all the living things which go on all four, they are unclean to you; anyone who touches their dead body is unclean until the evening;

28. వాటి కళేబరమును మోసిన ప్రతివాడు తన బట్టలు ఉదుకుకొని సాయంకాలమువరకు అపవిత్రుడగును; అవి మీకు అపవిత్రమైనవి.

28. and he who lifts up their dead body shall wash his garments and shall be unclean until the evening; they are unclean to you.

29. నేలమీద ప్రాకు జీవరాసులలో మీకు అపవిత్ర మైనవి ఏవేవనగా, చిన్నముంగిస, చిన్నపందికొక్కు, ప్రతి విధమైన బల్లి,

29. And these shall be unclean to you among the swarming things which swarm on the earth: the weasel, and the mouse, and the great lizard according to its kind,

30. ఊసరవెల్లి, నేలమొసలి, తొండ, సరటము, అడవి యెలుక.

30. and the gecko, and the monitor, and the lizard, and the sand lizard, and the barn owl.

31. ప్రాకువాటిలో ఇవి మీకు అపవిత్రములు; ఇవి చచ్చిన తరువాత వీటిని ముట్టిన ప్రతి వాడు సాయంకాలమువరకు అపవిత్రుడగును.

31. These are unclean to you among all which swarm; anyone who touches them in their death is unclean until the evening.

32. వాటిలో చచ్చిన దాని కళేబరము దేనిమీద పడునో అది అపవిత్ర మగును. అది చెక్కపాత్రయేగాని బట్టయేగాని చర్మమే గాని సంచియేగాని పనిచేయు ఉపకరణము ఏదియుగాని అయినయెడల దానిని నీళ్లలో వేయవలెను. అది సాయం కాలమువరకు అపవిత్రమైయుండును; తరువాత అది పవిత్ర మగును.

32. And anything on which any one of them falls in their death is unclean, whether of any vessel of wood, or garment, or skin, or sack; any vessel in which work is done shall be caused to go into water, and shall be unclean until the evening; then it shall be cleaned.

33. వీటిలో ఏదైనను మంటిపాత్రలో పడినయెడల దానిలోనిదంతయు అపవిత్రమగును; మీరు దానిని పగుల గొట్టవలెను.

33. And any earthen vessel into the midst of which any one of them falls, whatever is in it shall be unclean, and you shall break it.

34. తినదగిన ఆహారమంతటిలో దేనిమీద ఆ నీళ్ళు పడునో అది అపవిత్రమగును. అట్టి పాత్రలో త్రాగిన యే పానీయమును అపవిత్రము.

34. And of all the food which may be eaten, that on which such water falls shall be unclean, and all drink that may be drunk in any such vessel shall be unclean.

35. వాటి కళేబరములలో కొంచెము దేనిమీదపడునో అది అపవిత్రమగును. అది పొయ్యియైనను కుంపటియైనను దానిని పగులగొట్టవలెను. అవి అపవిత్రములు, అవి మీకు అపవిత్రములుగా ఉండవలెను.

35. And anything on which any part of their dead body falls shall be unclean; an oven or hearth shall be broken down; they are unclean; yes, they are unclean to you.

36. అయితే విస్తారమైన నీళ్లుగల ఊటలోగాని గుంటలోగాని కళేబరము పడినను ఆ నీళ్లు అపవిత్రములుకావు గాని కళేబరమునకు తగిలినది అపవిత్రమగును.

36. But a fountain or a well, a collection of water, shall be clean; only that touching the dead body is unclean.

37. వాటి కళేబరములలో కొంచెము విత్తుకట్టు విత్తనములమీద పడినను అవి అపవిత్రములు కావు గాని

37. And when any part of their dead body falls on any sowing seed which is sown, it shall be clean;

38. ఆ విత్తనములమీద నీళ్లు పోసిన తరువాత కళేబరములో కొంచెము వాటిమీద పడినయెడల అవి మీకు అపవిత్రములగును.

38. but when water is put on the seed, and any of its dead body has fallen on it, it shall be unclean to you.

39. మీరు తినదగిన జంతువులలో ఏదైనను చచ్చిన యెడల దాని కళేబరమును ముట్టువాడు సాయంకాలమువరకు అపవిత్రుడగును.

39. And when any of the animals which are food for you dies, he who touches its dead body is unclean until the evening;

40. దాని కళేబరములో ఏదైనను తినువాడు తన బట్టలు ఉదుకుకొని సాయంకాలమువరకు అపవిత్రు డగును. దాని కళేబరమును మోయువాడు తన బట్టలు ఉదుకుకొని సాయంకాలమువరకు అపవిత్రుడగును.

40. and he who eats of its dead body shall wash his garments and shall be unclean until the evening; and he who lifts up its dead body shall wash his garments and shall be unclean until the evening.

41. నేలమీద ప్రాకు జీవరాసులన్నియు హేయములు, వాటిని తినకూడదు.

41. And every swarming thing which swarms on the earth is unclean; it shall not be eaten.

42. నేలమీద ప్రాకు జీవరాసులన్నిటిలో కడుపుతో చరించుదానినైనను నాలుగుకాళ్లతో చరించుదానినైనను చాలా కాళ్లుగల దానినైనను మీరు తినకూడదు; అవి హేయములు.

42. Anything going on its belly, and any going on all four, and all having many feet, even every swarming thing that swarms on the earth, you shall not eat them, for they are unclean.

43. ప్రాకు జీవరాసులలో దేనినైనను తిని మిమ్మును మీరు హేయపరచుకొనకూడదు; వాటివలన అపవిత్రులగునట్లు వాటివలన అపవిత్రత కలుగజేసికొనకూడదు.

43. You shall not pollute yourselves with any swarming thing which swarms, nor shall you make yourselves unclean with them, so that you should be defiled by them.

44. నేను మీ దేవుడనైన యెహోవాను; నేను పరిశుద్ధుడను గనుక మీరు పరిశుద్ధులై యుండునట్లు మిమ్మును మీరు పరిశుద్దపరచుకొనవలెను. నేలమీద ప్రాకు జీవరాసులలో దేనివలనను మిమ్మును మీరు అపవిత్ర పరచుకొనకూడదు.

44. For I am Jehovah your God, and you have sanctified yourselves, and you have become holy, for I am holy. And you shall not defile your persons with any swarming thing which creeps on the earth;

45. నేను మీకు దేవుడనైయుండుటకు ఐగుప్తుదేశములోనుండి మిమ్మును రప్పించిన యెహోవాను; నేను పరిశుద్ధుడను గనుక మీరును పరిశుద్ధులు కావలెను.

45. for I am Jehovah who brought you up out of the land of Egypt to become your God; and you shall be holy, for I am holy.

46. అపవిత్రమైనదానికిని పవిత్రమైన దానికిని తినదగిన జంతు వులకును తినదగని జంతువులకును భేదము చేయునట్లు

46. This is the law of the animals, and of the fowl, and of every living creature which moves in the waters, and every creature which swarms on the earth,

47. జంతువులనుగూర్చియు, పక్షులను గూర్చియు, జలచరము లైన సమస్త జీవులను గూర్చియు, నేలమీద ప్రాకు సమస్త జీవులను గూర్చియు చేసిన విధియిదే అని చెప్పుమనెను.

47. to make a distinction between the unclean and the clean, and between the living thing that may be eaten and the living thing that may not be eaten.
