1. The LORD said to Moses,

2. ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు నాకు ప్రతిష్ఠించువాటి వలన అహరోనును అతని కుమారులును నా పరిశుద్ధనామమును అపవిత్రపరచకుండునట్లు వారు ఆ పరిశుద్ధమైనవాటిని ప్రతిష్ఠితములుగా ఎంచవలెనని వారితో చెప్పుము; నేను యెహోవాను.

2. 'Tell Aaron and his sons to respect the sacred offerings which the Israelites consecrate to me; else they will profane my holy name. I am the LORD.

3. నీవు వారితో ఇట్లనుముమీ తర తరములకు మీ సమస్త సంతానములలో ఒకడు అపవిత్రత గలవాడై, ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు యెహోవాకు ప్రతిష్ఠించు వాటిని సమీపించినయెడల అట్టివాడు నా సన్నిధిని ఉండకుండ కొట్టివేయబడును; నేను యెహోవాను.

3. 'Tell them: If any one of you, or of your descendants in any future generation, dares, while he is in a state of uncleanness, to draw near the sacred offerings which the Israelites consecrate to the LORD, such a one shall be cut off from my presence. I am the LORD.

4. అహరోను సంతానములో ఒకనికి కుష్ఠయినను స్రావమైనను కలిగినయెడల అట్టివాడు పవిత్రత పొందువరకు ప్రతిష్ఠితమైనవాటిలో దేనిని తినకూడదు. శవమువలని అపవిత్రతగల దేనినైనను ముట్టువాడును స్ఖలితవీర్యుడును,

4. 'No descendant of Aaron who is stricken with leprosy, or who suffers from a flow, may eat of these sacred offerings, unless he again becomes clean. Moreover, if anyone touches a person who has become unclean by contact with a corpse, or if anyone has had an emission of seed,

5. అపవిత్రమైన పురుగునేమి యేదో ఒక అపవిత్రతవలన అపవిత్రుడైన మనుష్యునినేమి ముట్టువాడును, అట్టి అపవిత్రత తగిలినవాడును సాయంకాలమువరకు అపవిత్రుడగును.

5. or if anyone touches any swarming creature or any man whose uncleanness, of whatever kind it may be, is contagious,

6. అతడు నీళ్లతో తన దేహమును కడుగుకొను వరకు ప్రతిష్ఠితమైనవాటిని తినకూడదు.

6. the one who touches such as these shall be unclean until evening and may not eat of the sacred portions until he has first bathed his body in water,

7. సూర్యుడు అస్తమించినప్పుడు అతడు పవిత్రుడగును; తరువాత అతడు ప్రతిష్ఠితమైనవాటిని తినవచ్చును, అవి వానికి ఆహారమే గదా.

7. then, when the sun sets, he again becomes clean. Only then may he eat of the sacred offerings, which are his food.

8. అతడు కళేబరమునైనను చీల్చ బడినదానినైనను తిని దానివలన అపవిత్రపరచుకొనకూడదు; నేను యెహోవాను.

8. He shall not make himself unclean by eating of any animal that has died of itself or has been killed by wild beasts. I am the LORD.

9. కాబట్టి నేను విధించిన విధిని అపవిత్రపరచి, దాని పాపభారమును మోసికొని దానివలన చావకుండునట్లు ఈ విధిని ఆచరించవలెను; నేను వారిని పరిశుద్ధపరచు యెహోవాను.

9. 'They shall keep my charge and not do wrong in this matter; else they will die for their profanation. I am the LORD who have consecrated them.

10. అన్యుడు ప్రతిష్ఠితమైనదానిని తినకూడదు, యాజకునియింట నివసించు అన్యుడేగాని జీతగాడేగాని ప్రతిష్ఠితమైనదానిని తినకూడదు,

10. 'Neither a lay person nor a priest's tenant or hired servant may eat of any sacred offering.

11. అయితే యాజకుడు క్రయధనమిచ్చి కొనినవాడును అతని యింట పుట్టినవాడును అతడు తిను ఆహారమును తినవచ్చును.

11. But a slave whom a priest acquires by purchase or who is born in his house may eat of his food.

12. యాజకుని కుమార్తె అన్యుని కియ్యబడినయెడల ఆమె ప్రతిష్ఠితమైన వాటిలో ప్రతిష్ఠార్పణమును తినకూడదు.

12. A priest's daughter who is married to a layman may not eat of the sacred contributions.

13. యాజకుని కుమార్తెలలో విధవరాలేకాని విడనాడబడినదే కాని సంతానము లేనియెడల ఆమె తన బాల్యమందువలె తన తండ్రి యింటికి తిరిగి చేరి తన తండ్రి ఆహారమును తినవచ్చును గాని అన్యుడెవడును దాని తినకూడదు.

13. But if a priest's daughter is widowed or divorced and, having no children, returns to her father's house, she may then eat of her father's food as in her youth. No layman, however, may eat of it.

14. ఒకడు పొరబాటున ప్రతిష్ఠితమైనదానిని తినినయెడల వాడు ఆ ప్రతిష్ఠితమైనదానిలో అయిదవవంతు కలిపి దానితో యాజకునికియ్యవలెను.

14. If such a one eats of a sacred offering through inadvertence, he shall make restitution to the priest for the sacred offering, with an increment of one fifth of the amount.

15. ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు ప్రతిష్ఠితమైనవాటిని తినుటవలన అపరాధమును భరింపకుండునట్లు తాము యెహోవాకు ప్రతిష్ఠించు పరిశుద్ధ ద్రవ్యములను అపవిత్రపరచకూడదు.

15. The sacred offerings which the Israelites contribute to the LORD the priests shall not allow to be profaned

16. నేను వాటిని పరిశుద్ధపరచు యెహోవానని చెప్పుము.

16. nor in the eating of the sacred offering shall they bring down guilt that must be punished; it is I, the LORD, who make them sacred.'

17. మరియు యెహోవా మోషేకు ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను

17. The LORD said to Moses,

18. నీవు అహరోనుతోను అతని కుమారులతోను ఇశ్రాయేలీయులందరితోను ఇట్లు చెప్పుము ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల యింటివారిలోనేగాని ఇశ్రాయేలీయులలో నివసించు పరదేశులలోనేగాని యెవడు యెహోవాకు దహన బలిగా స్వేచ్ఛార్పణములనైనను మ్రొక్కు బళ్లనైనను అర్పించునొ

18. 'Speak to Aaron and his sons and to all the Israelites, and tell them: When anyone of the house of Israel, or any alien residing in Israel, who wishes to offer a sacrifice, brings a holocaust as a votive offering or as a free-will offering to the LORD,

19. వాడు అంగీకరింపబడినట్లు, గోవులలోనుండి యైనను గొఱ్ఱెమేకలలో నుండియైనను దోషములేని మగదానిని అర్పింప వలెను.

19. if it is to be acceptable, the ox or sheep or goat that he offers must be an unblemished male.

20. దేనికి కళంకముండునో దానిని అర్పింపకూడదు; అది మీ పక్షముగా అంగీకరింపబడదు.

20. You shall not offer one that has any defect, for such a one would not be acceptable for you.

21. ఒకడు మ్రొక్కుబడిని చెల్లించుటకేగాని స్వేచ్ఛార్పణము అర్పించుటకేగాని సమాధానబలిరూపముగా గోవునైనను గొఱ్ఱెనైనను మేకనైనను యెహోవాకు తెచ్చినప్పుడు అది అంగీకరింపబడునట్లు దోషము లేనిదై యుండవలెను; దానిలో కళంకమేదియు నుండకూడదు.

21. When anyone presents a peace offering to the LORD from the herd or the flock in fulfillment of a vow, or as a free-will offering, if it is to find acceptance, it must be unblemished; it shall not have any defect.

22. గ్రుడ్డిదేమి కుంటిదేమి కొరతగలదేమి గడ్డగలదేమి గజ్జిరోగముగలదేమి చిరుగుడుగలదేమి అట్టివాటిని యెహోవాకు అర్పింపకూడదు; వాటిలో దేనిని బలిపీఠముమీద యెహోవాకు హోమము చేయకూడదు.

22. One that is blind or crippled or maimed, or one that has a running sore or mange or ringworm, you shall not offer to the LORD; do not put such an animal on the altar as an oblation to the LORD.

23. కురూపియైన కోడెనైనను గొఱ్ఱె మేకల మందలోని దానినైనను స్వేచ్ఛార్పణముగా అర్పింపవచ్చును గాని అది మ్రొక్కుబడిగా అంగీకరింపబడదు.

23. An ox or a sheep that is in any way ill-proportioned or stunted you may indeed present as a free-will offering, but it will not be acceptable as a votive offering.

24. విత్తులు నులిపిన దానినేగాని విరిగినదానినేగాని చితికినదానినేగాని కోయబడినదానినేగాని యెహోవాకు అర్పింపకూడదు; మీ దేశములో అట్టికార్యము చేయకూడదు;

24. One that has its testicles bruised or crushed or torn out or cut off you shall not offer to the LORD. You shall neither do this in your own land

25. పరదేశి చేతినుండి అట్టివాటిలో దేనిని తీసికొని మీ దేవునికి ఆహారముగా అర్పింపకూడదు; అవి లోపము గలవి, వాటికి కళంకములుండును, అవి మీ పక్షముగా అంగీకరింపబడవని చెప్పుము.

25. nor receive from a foreigner any such animals to offer up as the food of your God; since they are deformed or defective, they will not be acceptable for you.'

26. మరియు యెహోవా మోషేకు ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను

26. The LORD said to Moses,

27. దూడయేగాని, గొఱ్ఱెపిల్లయేగాని, మేకపిల్లయేగాని, పుట్టినప్పుడు అది యేడు దినములు దాని తల్లితో నుండవలెను. ఎనిమిదవనాడు మొదలుకొని అది యెహోవాకు హోమముగా అంగీకరింప తగును.

27. 'When an ox or a lamb or a goat is born, it shall remain with its mother for seven days; only from the eighth day onward will it be acceptable, to be offered as an oblation to the LORD.

28. అయితే అది ఆవైనను గొఱ్ఱె మేకలలోనిదైనను మీరు దానిని దానిపిల్లను ఒక్క నాడే వధింపకూడదు.

28. You shall not slaughter an ox or a sheep on one and the same day with its young.

29. మీరు కృతజ్ఞతాబలియగు పశువును వధించినప్పుడు అది మీకొరకు అంగీకరింపబడునట్లుగా దానిని అర్పింపవలెను.

29. Whenever you offer a thanksgiving sacrifice to the LORD, so offer it that it may be acceptable for you;

30. ఆనాడే దాని తినివేయవలెను; మరునాటి వరకు దానిలో కొంచెమైనను మిగిలింపకూడదు; నేను యెహోవాను.

30. it must, therefore, be eaten on the same day; none of it shall be left over until the next day. I am the LORD.

31. మీరు నా ఆజ్ఞలననుసరించి వాటి ప్రకారము నడుచుకొనవలెను; నేను యెహోవాను.

31. 'Be careful to observe the commandments which I, the LORD, give you,

32. నా పరిశుద్ధనామమును అపవిత్రపరచకూడదు, నేను ఇశ్రా యేలీయులలో నన్ను పరిశుద్ధునిగా చేసికొందును;

32. and do not profane my holy name; in the midst of the Israelites I, the LORD, must be held as sacred. It is I who made you sacred

33. నేను మిమ్మును పరిశుద్ధపరచు యెహోవాను. నేను మీకు దేవుడనై యుండునట్లు ఐగుప్తు దేశములోనుండి మిమ్మును రప్పించిన యెహోవానని చెప్పుము.

33. and led you out of the land of Egypt, that I, the LORD, might be your God.'
