1. మంచములమీద పరుండి మోసపు క్రియలు యోచించుచు దుష్కార్యములు చేయువారికి శ్రమ; ఆలాగు చేయుట వారి స్వాధీనములో నున్నది గనుక వారు ప్రొద్దు పొడవగానే చేయుదురు.

1. Woe vnto them, that imagine iniquitie, and worke wickednesse vpon their beddes: when the morning is light they practise it because their hande hath power.

2. వారు భూములు ఆశించి పట్టుకొందురు, ఇండ్లు ఆశించి ఆక్రమించు కొందురు, ఒక మనిషిని వాని కుటుంబమును ఇంటివానిని వాని స్వాస్థ్యమును అన్యాయముగా ఆక్రమింతురు.

2. And they couet fields, and take them by violence, and houses, and take them away: so they oppresse a man and his house, euen man and his heritage.

3. కాబట్టి యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చునదేమనగా - గొప్ప అపాయ కాలము వచ్చుచున్నది. దాని క్రిందనుండి తమ మెడ లను తప్పించుకొనలేకుండునంతగాను, గర్వముగా నడువ లేకుండునంతగాను ఈ వంశమునకు కీడుచేయ నుద్దేశించు చున్నాను.

3. Therefore thus saieth the Lord, Beholde, against this familie haue I deuised a plague, whereout yee shall not plucke your neckes, and ye shall not go so proudly, for this time is euill.

4. ఆ దినమున జనులు మిమ్మునుగురించి బహుగా అంగలార్చుచు సామెత నెత్తుదురు. వారు చెప్పు సామెత ఏదనగామనము బొత్తిగా చెడిపోయి యున్నామనియు, ఆయన నా జనుల స్వాస్థ్యమును అన్యుల కిచ్చియున్నా డనియు, మనయొద్ద నుండకుండ ఆయన దానిని తీసివేసెసేయనియు, మన భూములను తిరుగబడినవారికి ఆయన విభ జించియున్నాడనియు ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు అనుకొను చున్నట్లు జనులు చెప్పుకొందురు.

4. In that daye shall they take vp a parable against you, and lament with a dolefull lamentation, and say, We be vtterly wasted: hee hath changed the portion of my people: how hath he taken it away to restore it vnto mee? he hath deuided our fieldes.

5. చీట్లు వేయగా యెహోవా సమాజములో మీరు పాలుపొందునట్లు నూలు వేయువా డొకడును ఉండడు.

5. Therefore thou shalt haue none that shall cast a corde by lot in the Congregation of the Lord.

6. మీరు దీని ప్రవచింప వద్దని వారు ప్రకటన చేయుదురు. ప్రవ చింపనియెడల అవమానము కలుగక మానదు.

6. They that prophecied, Prophecie ye not. They shall not prophecie to them, neither shall they take shame.

7. యాకోబు సంతతివారని పేరు పెట్టబడినవారలారా, యెహోవా దీర్ఘశాంతము తగ్గిపోయెనా? యీ క్రియలు ఆయనచేత జరిగెనా? యథా ర్థముగా ప్రవర్తించువానికి నా మాటలు క్షేమసాధనములు కావా?

7. O thou that art named of the house of Iaakob, is the Spirite of the Lord shortened? are these his workes? are not my wordes good vnto him that walketh vprightly?

8. ఇప్పుడేగదా నా జనులు శత్రువులైరి; నిర్భయ ముగా సంచరించువారిని చూచి వారు కట్టు పంచెలను మాత్రము విడిచి వారి పై వస్త్రములను లాగుకొందురు.

8. But hee that was yesterday my people, is risen vp on the other side, as against an enemie: they spoyle the beautifull garment from them that passe by peaceably, as though they returned from the warre.

9. వారికిష్టమైన యిండ్లలోనుండి నా జనులయొక్క స్త్రీలను మీరు వెళ్లగొట్టుదురు, వారి బిడ్డల యొద్దనుండి నేనిచ్చిన ఘనతను ఎన్నడును లేకుండ మీరు ఎత్తికొని పోవుదురు.

9. The women of my people haue ye cast out from their pleasant houses, and from their childre haue ye taken away my glorie continually.

10. ఈ దేశము మీ విశ్రాంతిస్థలముకాదు; మీరు లేచి వెళ్లి పోవుడి, మీకు నాశనము నిర్మూల నాశనము కలుగునంతగా మీరు అపవిత్రక్రియలు జరిగించితిరి.

10. Arise and depart, for this is not your rest: because it is polluted, it shall destroy you, euen with a sore destruction.

11. వ్యర్థమైన మాటలు పలుకుచు, అబద్ధికుడై ద్రాక్షారసమునుబట్టియు మద్యమును బట్టియు నేను మీకు ఉపన్యాసము చేయుదునని అబద్ధము చెప్పుచు ఒకడు వచ్చినయెడల వాడే ఈ జనులకు ప్రవక్త యగును.

11. If a man walke in the Spirit, and would lie falsely, saying, I wil prophecie vnto thee of wine, and of strong drinke, he shall euen be the prophet of this people.

12. యాకోబు సంతతీ, తప్పక నేను మిమ్మునందరిని పోగు చేయుదును, ఇశ్రాయేలీయులలో శేషించిన వారిని తప్పక సమకూర్చుదును. బొస్రా గొఱ్ఱెలు కూడునట్లు వారిని సమకూర్చుదును, తమ మేతస్థలములలో వారిని పోగు చేతును, గొప్ప ధ్వని పుట్టునట్లుగా మనుష్యులు విస్తార ముగా కూడుదురు.

12. I will surely gather thee wholy, O Iaakob: I will surely gather the remnant of Israel: I will put them together as the sheepe of Bozrah, euen as the flocke in the mids of their folde: the cities shall be full of brute of the men.

13. ప్రాకారములు పడగొట్టువాడు వారికి ముందుగాపోవును, వారు గుమ్మమును పడగొట్టి దాని ద్వారా దాటిపోవుదురు, వారి రాజు వారికి ముందుగా నడుచును, యెహోవా వారికి నాయకుడుగా ఉండును.

13. The breaker vp shall come vp before them: they shall breake out, and passe by the gate, and goe out by it, and their King shall goe before them, and the Lord shalbe vpon their heades.
