1. లేవికి మునిమనుమడును కహాతుకు మనుమడును ఇస్హారు కుమారుడునగు కోరహు, రూబేనీయులలో ఏలీ యాబు కుమారులైన దాతాను అబీరాములును, పేలెతు కుమారుడైన ఓనును యోచించుకొని

1. Then took Korah, son of Izhar son of Kohath son of Levi, and Dathan and Abiram sons of Eliab, and On, son of Peleth sons of Reuben;

2. ఇశ్రాయేలీయు లలో పేరుపొందిన సభికులును సమాజప్రధానులునైన రెండువందలయేబది మందితో మోషేకు ఎదురుగాలేచి

2. and rose up before Moses, with certain men of the sons of Israel, two hundred and fifty, princes of assembly, called to the stated meeting, men of renown;

3. మోషే అహరోనులకు విరోధముగా పోగుపడిమీతో మాకిక పనిలేదు; ఈ సర్వసమాజములోని ప్రతివాడును పరిశుద్ధుడే యెహోవా వారి మధ్యనున్నాడు; యెహోవా సంఘము మీద మిమ్మును మీరేల హెచ్చించుకొనుచున్నారనగా,

3. and gathered themselves together against Moses and against Aaron and said unto them Too much for you, when, all the assembly, are, all of them, holy, and in the midst of them, is Yahweh, Wherefore, then, should ye set yourselves up, above the convocation of Yahweh?

4. మోషే ఆ మాట విని సాగిలపడెను. అటు తరువాత అతడు కోరహుతోను వాని సమాజముతోను ఇట్లనెను

4. And, when Moses heard it, he fell upon his face.

5. తనవాడు ఎవడో పరిశుద్ధుడు ఎవడో రేపు యెహోవా తెలియజేసి వానిని తన సన్నిధికి రానిచ్చును. ఆయన తాను ఏర్పరచుకొనినవానిని తనయొద్దకు చేర్చు కొనును.

5. Then spake he unto Korah, and unto all his assembly, saying, In the morning, will Yahweh make known who are his, and who is the holy one and will cause him to come near unto himself, yea him whom he shall choose, will he cause to come near unto himself.

6. ఈలాగు చేయుడి; కోరహును అతని సమస్త సమూహమునైన మీరును ధూపార్తులను తీసికొని వాటిలో అగ్నియుంచి రేపు యెహోవా సన్నిధిని వాటిమీద ధూపద్రవ్యము వేయుడి.

6. This do, Take to you censers, Korah and all his assembly;

7. అప్పుడు యెహోవా యే మనుష్యుని యేర్పరచుకొనునో వాడే పరిశుద్ధుడు. లేవి కుమారులారా, మీతో నాకిక పనిలేదు.

7. and place therein fire, and put thereon incense before Yahweh, to-morrow, So shall it be that, the man whom Yahweh shall choose, he shall be the holy one. Too much for you ye sons of Levi!

8. మరియు మోషే కోరహుతో ఇట్లనెనులేవి కుమారులారా వినుడి.

8. And Moses said unto Korah, Hear, I pray you, ye sons of Levi!

9. తన మందిరసేవచేయుటకు యెహోవా మిమ్మును తనయొద్దకు చేర్చుకొనుటయు, మీరు సమాజము ఎదుట నిలిచి వారు చేయవలసిన సేవ చేయునట్లు ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల దేవుడు ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల సమాజములోనుండి మిమ్మును వేరు పరచుటయు మీకు అల్పముగా కనబడునా?

9. Is it too small a thing for you that the God of Israel hath separated you from the assembly of Israel, to bring you near unto himself, to do the laborious work of the habitation of Yahweh, and to stand before the assembly, to wait upon them?

10. ఆయన నిన్నును నీతో లేవీయులైన నీ గోత్రపువారి నందరిని చేర్చుకొనెను గదా. అయితే మీరు యాజకత్వముకూడ కోరుచున్నారు.

10. But having brought thee near, and all thy brethren the sons of Levi with thee, must ye seek priesthood also?

11. ఇందు నిమిత్తము నీవును నీ సమస్తసమాజ మును యెహోవాకు విరోధముగా పోగైయున్నారు. అహరోను ఎవడు? అతనికి విరోధముగా మీరు సణుగనేల అనెను.

11. Wherefore thou and all thine assembly, are conspiring against Yahweh, But Aaron, what is he, that ye should murmur against him?

12. అప్పుడు మోషే ఏలీయాబు కుమారులైన దాతాను అబీరాములను పిలువనంపించెను.

12. Then sent Moses, to call for Dathan and for Abiram sons of Eliab, and they said We will not come up:

13. అయితే వారుమేము రాము; ఈ అరణ్యములో మమ్మును చంప వలెనని పాలు తేనెలు ప్రవహించు దేశములోనుండి మమ్మును తీసికొనివచ్చుట చాలనట్టు, మామీద ప్రభుత్వము చేయుటకును నీకధికారము కావలెనా?

13. Was it, a small thing, that thou didst bring us up out of land flowing with milk and honey, to put us to death in the desert but thou must, continue even to lord it, over us?

14. అంతేకాదు, నీవు పాలు తేనెలు ప్రవహించు దేశములోనికి మమ్మును తీసికొని రాలేదు; పొలములు ద్రాక్షతోటలుగల స్వాస్థ్యము మాకియ్యలేదు; ఈ మనుష్యుల కన్నులను ఊడదీయుదువా? మేము రాము అనిరి.

14. Certainly not into a land flowing with milk and honey, hast thou brought us, nor given unto us an inheritance of field and vineyard, The eyes of those men, wilt thou dig out? We will not come up.

15. అందుకు మోషే మిక్కిలి కోపించినీవు వారి నైవేద్యమును లక్ష్యపెట్టకుము. ఒక్క గాడిదనైనను వారియొద్ద నేను తీసికొన లేదు; వారిలో ఎవనికిని నేను హాని చేయలేదని యెహోవా యొద్ద మనవిచేసెను.

15. Then was Moses very angry, and he said unto Yahweh, Do not thou have respect unto their meal-offering. Not one ass, from them, have I taken, neither have I wronged one of them.

16. మరియు మోషే కోరహుతొ నీవును నీ సర్వసమూహమును, అనగా నీవును వారును అహరోనును రేపు యెహోవా సన్నిధిని నిలువవలెను.

16. And Moses said unto Korah, Thou, and all thine assembly, come ye before Yahweh, thou, and they, and Aaron to-morrow.

17. మీలో ప్రతివాడును తన తన ధూపార్తిని తీసికొని వాటి మీద ధూపద్రవ్యము వేసి, ఒక్కొక్కడు తన ధూపార్తిని పట్టుకొని రెండువందల ఏబది ధూపార్తులను యెహోవా సన్నిధికి తేవలెను, నీవును అహరోనును ఒక్కొక్కడు తన ధూపార్తిని తేవలెనని చెప్పెను.

17. And take ye each man his censer and put thereon incense, then shall ye bring near before Yahweh, each man his censer, two hundred and fifty Censers, and, thou and Aaron, each man his censer.

18. కాబట్టి వారిలో ప్రతివాడును తన ధూపార్తిని తీసికొని వాటిలో అగ్ని యుంచి వాటిమీద ధూప ద్రవ్యము వేసినప్పుడు, వారును మోషే అహరోనులును ప్రత్యక్షపు గుడారముయొక్క ద్వారమునొద్ద నిలిచిరి.

18. So they took each man his censer and put thereon fire, and placed thereon incense, and took their stand at the entrance of the tent of meeting with Moses and Aaron.

19. కోరహు ప్రత్యక్షపు గుడారము యొక్క ద్వారమునొద్దకు సర్వసమాజమును వారికి విరోధ ముగా పోగుచేయగా యెహోవా మహిమ సర్వసమాజ మునకు కనబడెను.

19. And Korah gathered together against them all the assembly, unto the entrance of the tent of meeting, then appeared the glory of Yahweh, unto all the assembly.

20. అప్పుడు యెహోవామీరు ఈ సమాజములోనుండి అవతలికి వెళ్లుడి.

20. Then spake Yahweh unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying:

21. క్షణములో నేను వారిని కాల్చివేయుదునని మోషే అహరోనులతో చెప్పగా

21. Separate yourselves out of the midst of this assembly, that I may consume them in a moment.

22. వారు సాగిలపడిసమస్త శరీరాత్మలకు దేవుడ వైన దేవా, యీ యొక్కడు పాపముచేసినందున ఈ సమస్త సమాజము మీద నీవు కోపపడుదువా? అని వేడు కొనిరి.

22. And they fell upon their faces and said, O GOD, the God of the spirits of all flesh, shall, one man, sin, and against all the assembly, wilt thou he wroth.

23. అప్పుడు యెహోవా మోషేకు ఈలాగు సెల విచ్చెను

23. And Yahweh spake unto Moses, saying,

24. కోరహు దాతాను అబీరాములయొక్క నివాస ముల చుట్టుపట్లనుండి తొలగిపోవుడని జనసమాజముతో చెప్పుము.

24. Speak unto the assembly, saying, Get ye up from round about the habitation of Korah, Dathan and Abiram.

25. అప్పుడు మోషే లేచి దాతాను అబీరాముల యొద్దకు వెళ్లగా ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల పెద్దలు అతని వెంట వెళ్లిరి.

25. So Moses rose up, and went, unto Dathan and Abiram, then went, after him the eiders of Israel.

26. అతడుఈ దుష్టుల గుడారములయొద్దనుండి తొలగి పోవుడి; మీరు వారి పాపములన్నిటిలో పాలివారై నశింపక యుండునట్లు వారికి కలిగినదేదియు ముట్టకుడి అని ఆ సమాజముతో అనెను.

26. And he spake unto the assembly, saying Remove I pray you from beside the tents of these lawless men, and do not touch aught that pertaineth unto them, lest ye be carried off, in all their sins.

27. కాబట్టి వారు కోరహు దాతాను అబీరాముల నివాసములయొద్దనుండి ఇటు అటు లేచిపోగా, దాతాను అబీరాములును వారి భార్యలును వారి కుమారులును వారి పసిపిల్లలును తమ గుడారముల ద్వారమున నిలిచిరి.

27. So they went up from beside the habitation of Korah, Dathan and Abiram on every side, and, Dathan and Abiram, came out and stationed themselves at the entrance of their tents, with their wives and their sons and their little ones.

28. మోషే ఈ సమస్త కార్యములను చేయుటకు యెహోవా నన్ను పంపెననియు, నా అంతట నేనే వాటిని చేయలేదనియు దీనివలన మీరు తెలిసికొందురు.

28. Then said Moses, Hereby, shall ye know, that, Yahweh hath sent me, to do all these works, verily, not out of my own heart:

29. మనుష్యులందరికి వచ్చు మరణమువంటి మరణము వీరు పొందిన యెడలను, సమస్త మనుష్యులకు కలుగునదే వీరికి కలిగినయెడలను, యెహోవా నన్నుపంప లేదు.

29. If, as all human beings die, these do die, and the visitation of all human beings, be visited upon them, Yahweh, hath not sent me.

30. అయితే యెహోవా గొప్ప వింత పుట్టించుటవలన వారు ప్రాణములతో పాతాళములో కూలునట్లు భూమి తన నోరుతెరచి వారిని వారికి కలిగిన సమస్తమును మింగి వేసినయెడల వారు యెహోవాను అలక్ష్యము చేసిరని మీకు తెలియుననెను.

30. But, if, a cremation, Yahweh create, and the ground open wide her mouth and swallow them up, with all that pertain unto them, and so they go down alive unto hades, then shall ye know, that these men have despised Yahweh.

31. అతడు ఆ మాటలన్నియు చెప్పి చాలించ గానే వారి క్రింది నేల నెరవిడిచెను.

31. And it came to pass as he made an end of speaking all these words, that the ground which was under them, clave asunder;

32. భూమి తన నోరు తెరచి వారిని వారి కుటుంబములను కోరహు సంబంధు లందరిని వారి సమస్త సంపాద్యమును మింగివేసెను.

32. and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up them, and their households, and all the human beings who pertained unto Korah, with all their goods:

33. వారును వారి సంబంధులందరును ప్రాణముతో పాతాళ ములో కూలిరి; భూమి వారిని మింగివేసెను; వారు సమాజములో ఉండకుండ నశించిరి.

33. so, they, and all that pertained unto them, went down, alive unto hades, and the earth, closed pen them, and they perished out of the midst of the convocation.

34. వారి చుట్టునున్న ఇశ్రాయేలీయులందరు వారి ఘోష వినిభూమి మనలను మింగివేయునేమో అనుకొనుచు పారిపోయిరి.

34. And, all Israel who were round about them, fled at their cry, for they said, Lest the earth swallow us up.

35. మరియు యెహోవా యొద్దనుండి అగ్ని బయలుదేరి ధూపార్పణ మును తెచ్చిన ఆ రెండువందల ఏబదిమందిని కాల్చివేసెను.

35. Fire also came forth, from Yahweh, and consumed the two hundred and fifty men, who offered the incense.

36. అప్పుడు యెహోవా మోషేకు ఈలాగు సెల విచ్చెనునీవు యాజకుడగు అహరోను కుమారుడైన ఎలి యాజరుతో ఇట్లనుముఆ అగ్నిమధ్యనుండి ఆ ధూపార్తు లను ఎత్తుము, అవి ప్రతిష్ఠితమైనవి.

36. Then spake Yahweh unto Moses, saying:

37. ఆ అగ్నిని దూర ముగా చల్లుము.

37. Say unto Eleazar, son of Aaron the priest, that he take up the censers out of the midst of the burning, and the fire, scatter thou yonder, for they have been hallowed.

38. పాపముచేసి తమ ప్రాణములకు ముప్పు తెచ్చుకొనిన వీరి ధూపార్తులను తీసికొని బలిపీఠమునకు కప్పుగా వెడల్పయిన రేకులను చేయవలెను. వారు యెహోవా సన్నిధికి వాటిని తెచ్చినందున అవి ప్రతిష్ఠిత మైనవి; అవి ఇశ్రాయేలీయులకు ఆనవాలుగా ఉండును.
హెబ్రీయులకు 12:3

38. As for the censers of these sinners against their own persons, they shall be made into beaten-out plates as an overlay for the altar, for hey had brought them near before Yahweh and hallowed them, so shall they become a sign unto the sons of Israel.

39. అహరోను సంతాన సంబంధి కాని అన్యుడెవడును యెహోవా సన్నిధిని ధూపము అర్పింప సమీపించి,

39. And Eleazar the priest took the censers of bronze, which the consumed men had brought near, and heat them out into plates for overlaying the altar:

40. కోరహువలెను అతని సమాజము వలెను కాకుండునట్లు ఇశ్రాయేలీయులకు జ్ఞాపకసూచనగా ఉండుటకై యాజకు డైన ఎలియాజరు కాల్చబడిన వారు అర్పించిన యిత్తడి ధూపార్తులను తీసి యెహోవా మోషే ద్వారా తనతో చెప్పినట్లు వాటితో బలిపీఠమునకు కప్పుగా వెడల్పయిన రేకులు చేయించెను.

40. a memorial unto the sons of Israel, That no stranger, who is not of the seed of Aaron, shall draw near to offer incense before Yahweh, lest he become like Korah and like his assembly, As spake Yahweh by the hand of Moses with regard thereto.

41. మరునాడు ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల సర్వసమాజము మోషే అహరోనులకు విరోధముగా సణుగుచుమీరు యెహోవా ప్రజలను చంపితిరని చెప్పి

41. And all the assembly of the sons of Israel murmured, on the morrow, against Moses and against, Aaron, saying, Ye, have caused the death of the people of Yahweh.

42. సమాజము మోషే అహరోను లకు విరోధముగా కూడెను. వారు ప్రత్యక్షపు గుడారమువైపు తిరిగి చూడగా ఆ మేఘము దాని కమ్మెను; యెహోవా మహిమయు కనబడెను.

42. And it came to pass, when the assembly gathered themselves together against Moses and against Aaron, that they turned towards the tent of meeting, and lo! the cloud had covered it: and the glory of Yahweh, appeared.

43. మోషే అహ రోనులు ప్రత్యక్షపు గుడారము ఎదుటికి రాగా

43. And Moses and Aaron came in, before the tent of meeting.

44. యెహోవామీరు ఈ సమాజము మధ్యనుండి తొలగి పోవుడి,

44. Then spake Yahweh unto Moses, saying:

45. క్షణములో నేను వారిని నశింపజేయుదునని మోషేకు సెలవియ్యగా వారు సాగిలపడిరి.

45. Lift yourselves up out of the midst o this assembly, that I may consume them, as in a moment, And they fell upon their faces.

46. అప్పుడు మోషేనీవు ధూపార్తిని తీసికొని బలిపీఠపు నిప్పులతో నింపి ధూపమువేసి వేగముగా సమాజమునొద్దకు వెళ్లి వారినిమిత్తము ప్రాయశ్చిత్తము చేయుము; కోపము యెహోవా సన్నిధినుండి బయలుదేరెను; తెగులు మొదలు పెట్టెనని అహరోనుతో చెప్పగా

46. Then said Moses unto Aaron Take the censer and place thereon fire, from off the altar, and put incense thereon , and, going quickly into the assembly, put a propitiatory-covering over them, for wrath hath gone forth from before Yahweh the plague, hath begun.

47. మోషే చెప్పినట్లు అహరోను వాటిని తీసికొని సమాజముమధ్యకు పరుగెత్తి పోయినప్పుడు తెగులు జనులలో మొదలుపెట్టి యుండెను; కాగా అతడు ధూపమువేసి ఆ జనుల నిమిత్తము ప్రాయశ్చిత్తము చేసెను.

47. Then took Aaron, as Moses spake, and ran into the midst of the convocation, and lo! the plague had begun among the people, so he placed the incense, and put a propitiatory-covering over the people:

48. అతడు చచ్చినవారికిని బ్రతికియున్న వారికిని మధ్యను నిలువబడగా తెగులు ఆగెను.

48. thus did he take his stand between the dead and the living, and the plague was restrained.

49. కోరహు తిరుగుబాటున చనిపోయినవారు గాక పదునాలుగువేల ఏడువందలమంది ఆ తెగులుచేత చచ్చిరి.

49. And so it was that they who died in the plague were fourteen thousand and seven hundred, besides them who died over the matter of Korah.

50. ఆ తెగులు ఆగినప్పుడు అహరోను ప్రత్యక్షపు గుడారముయొక్క ద్వారము దగ్గరనున్న మోషే యొద్దకు తిరిగి వచ్చెను.

50. And Aaron returned unto Moses, unto the entrance of the tent of meeting, when, the plague, had been restrained.
