1. అప్పుడు బిలాము ఇక్కడ నేను బలి అర్పించుటకు ఏడు బలిపీఠములను కట్టించి, ఇక్కడ ఏడు కోడెలను ఏడు పొట్టేళ్లను సిద్ధపరచుమని బాలాకుతో చెప్పెను.

1. . And Balaam sayde vnto Balac: Buylde me here seuen altares, and prouyde me here seuen bullockes, and seue rammes.

2. బిలాము చెప్పినట్లు బాలాకు చేయగా, బాలాకును బిలామును ప్రతి బలిపీఠముమీద ఒక కోడెను ఒక పొట్టేలును దహనబలిగా అర్పించిరి.

2. Balac dyd as Balaam sayde. And both Balac and Balaam offred, on euery altare a bullocke & a ramme.

3. మరియు బిలాము బాలాకుతోబలిపీఠము మీది నీ దహనబలియొద్ద నిలిచియుండుము, నేను వెళ్లెదను; ఒకవేళ యెహోవా నన్ను ఎదుర్కొనునేమో; ఆయన నాకు కనుపరచునది నీకు తెలియచేసెదనని చెప్పి మెట్టయెక్కెను.

3. And Balaam sayde vnto Balac: Stonde thou by yi burntofferynge, I wil go, yf happly the LORDE wil mete me, & call me, yt I maye tell the, what so euer he sheweth me. And he wente his waye, as he sayde.

4. దేవుడు బిలాముకు ప్రత్యక్షము కాగా అతడునేను ఏడు బలిపీఠములను సిద్ధపరచి ప్రతి దానిమీదను ఒక కోడెను ఒక పొట్టేలును అర్పించితినని ఆయనతో చెప్పగా,

4. And ye LORDE mett Balaam. And Balaam saide vnto him: Seuen altares haue I prepared, and offred on euery altare a bullocke and a ramme.

5. యెహోవా ఒకమాట బిలాము నోట ఉంచినీవు బాలాకునొద్దకు తిరిగి వెళ్లి యిట్లు చెప్పుమనెను.

5. The LORDE put ye worde in Balaams mouth, and sayde: Go agayne vnto Balac, and saye on this wise.

6. అతడు బాలాకునొద్దకు తిరిగి వెళ్లినప్పుడు అతడు మోయాబు అధికారులందరితో తన దహనబలి యొద్ద నిలిచియుండెను.

6. And whan he came agayne vnto him, beholde, he stode by his burntofferynge, with all ye prynces of the Moabites.

7. అప్పుడు బిలాము ఉపమాన రీతిగా ఇట్లనెను అరామునుండి బాలాకుతూర్పు పర్వతములనుండి మోయాబురాజు నన్నురప్పించిరమ్ము; నా నిమిత్తము యాకోబును శపింపుము రమ్ము; ఇశ్రాయేలును భయపెట్టవలెను అనెను.

7. Then toke he vp his parable, & sayde: Balac the kynge of the Moabites hath caused to fet me out of Syria from the moutaynes towarde the East, (& sayde:) Come, curse me Iacob: come, defye me Israel.

8. ఏమని శపింపగలను? దేవుడు శపింపలేదే ఏమని భయపెట్టగలను? దేవుడు భయపెట్టలేదే.

8. How shall I curse, whom God curseth not? How shal I defye, whom ye LORDE defyeth not?

9. మెట్టల శిఖరమునుండి అతని చూచుచున్నాను కొండలనుండి అతని కనుగొనుచున్నాను ఇదిగో ఆ జనము ఒంటిగా నివసించును జనములలో లెక్కింపబడరు.

9. For fro ye toppe of ye stonye rockes I se him, & from the hilles I beholde him. Beholde, ye people shal dwell by theselues, & shal not be rekened amoge the Heithe.

10. యాకోబు రేణువులను ఎవరు లెక్కించెదరు?ఇశ్రాయేలు నాల్గవపాలును ఎవరు లెక్కపెట్టగలరు? నీతిమంతుల మరణమువంటి మరణము నాకు లభించును గాక. నా అంత్యదశ వారి అంతమువంటి దగును గాక అనెను.

10. Who can tell the dust of Iacob, & the nombre of the fourth parte of Israel? My soule die ye death of ye righteous, and my ende be as the ende of these.

11. అంతట బాలాకు బిలాముతో నీవు నాకేమి చేసితివి? నా శత్రువులను శపించుటకు నిన్ను రప్పించితిని; అయితే నీవు వారిని పూర్తిగా దీవించితివనెను.

11. The saide Balac vnto Balaam: What doest thou vnto me? I caused to set ye for to curse myne enemies, & beholde, thou blessest the.

12. అందు కతడుయెహోవా నా నోట ఉంచినదాని నేను శ్రధ్ధగా పలుక వద్దా? అని ఉత్తరమిచ్చెను.

12. He answered & saide: Must I not kepe & speake yt, which the LORDE putteth in to me mouth?

13. అప్పుడు బాలాకుదయచేసి నాతోకూడ మరియొక చోటికి రమ్ము. అక్కడనుండి వారిని చూడవచ్చును; వారి చివరమాత్రమే కనబడును గాని వారందరు నీకు కనబడరు; అక్కడనుండి నా నిమిత్తము వారిని శపింపవలెనని అతనితో చెప్పి

13. Balac saide vnto him: Come wt me yet vnto another place, fro whence thou mayest se ye vttemost parte of them, & not se them all, and curse me them there.

14. పిస్గా కొన నున్న కావలివారి పొలమునకు అతని తోడుకొనిపోయి, యేడు బలిపీఠములను కట్టించి, ప్రతి బలిపీఠము మీద ఒక కోడెను ఒక పొట్టేలును అర్పించెను.

14. And he toke him vp to a fre place, eue vnto the toppe of Pisga, & buylded seuen altares, and offered on euery altare a bullocke & a ramme.

15. అతడునీవు ఇక్కడ నీ దహనబలియొద్ద నిలిచియుండుము; నేను అక్కడ యెహోవాను ఎదుర్కొందునని బాలాకుతో చెప్పగా,

15. And he sayde vnto Balac: Stonde so by thy burntoffrynge, whyle I go yonder.

16. యెహోవా బిలామును ఎదుర్కొని ఒక మాటను అతని నోట ఉంచినీవు బాలాకునొద్దకు తిరిగి వెళ్లి యిట్లు చెప్పుమనెను.

16. And the LORDE mett Balaam, & put the worde in his mouth, & sayde: Go agayne vnto Balac, & saye on this wyse.

17. అతడు బాలాకు నొద్దకు వెళ్లినప్పుడు అతడు తన దహనబలియొద్ద నిలిచియుండెను. మోయాబు అధికారులును అతనియొద్ద నుండిరి. బాలాకు యెహోవా యేమి చెప్పెనని అడుగగా

17. And whan he came to him agayne, beholde, he stode by his burntofferynge with the prynces of the Moabites. And Balac sayde vnto him: What hath the LORDE sayde?

18. బిలాము ఉపమానరీతిగా నిట్లనెను బాలాకూ, లేచి వినుము సిప్పోరు కుమారుడా, చెవినొగ్గి నా మాట ఆలకించుము.

18. And he toke vp his parable, & sayde: Ryse vp Balac & heare, marke my testimony wt thine eares thou sonne of Ziphor.

19. దేవుడు అబద్ధమాడుటకు ఆయన మానవుడు కాడు పశ్చాత్తాపపడుటకు ఆయన నరపుత్రుడు కాడు ఆయన చెప్పి చేయకుండునా? ఆయన మాట యిచ్చి స్థాపింపకుండునా?

19. God is not a man yt he shulde lye, ner a mans childe yt eny thinge shulde repente him. Shulde he saye and not do? Shulde he speake & not make it good?

20. ఇదిగో దీవించుమని నాకు సెలవాయెను ఆయన దీవించెను; నేను దాని మార్చలేను.

20. Beholde, I am brought hither to blesse, I blesse, & can not go backe there fro.

21. ఆయన యాకోబులో ఏ దోషమును కనుగొనలేదు ఇశ్రాయేలులో ఏ వంకరతనమును చూడలేదు అతని దేవుడైన యెహోవా అతనికి తోడైయున్నాడు.

21. There is no weerynesse sene in Iacob, nether eny laboure in Israel. The LORDE his God is wt him, & the kynges trompet is amoge the.

22. రాజుయొక్క జయధ్వని వారిలో నున్నది దేవుడు ఐగుప్తులోనుండి వారిని రప్పించెను గురుపోతు వేగమువంటి వేగము వారికి కలదు.

22. God hath brought the out of Egipte, his stregth is as of an Vnicorne.

23. నిజముగా యాకోబులో మంత్రము లేదు ఇశ్రాయేలులో శకునము లేదు ఆయాకాలములందు దేవుని కార్యములు యాకోబు వంశస్థులగు ఇశ్రాయేలీయులకు తెలియచెప్పబడును.

23. For there is no Sorcerye in Iacob, & no Soyth sayer in Israel. Whan the tyme cometh, it shalbe saide vnto Iacob, & to Israel, what God doth.

24. ఇదిగో ఆ జనము ఆడుసింహమువలె లేచును అది సింహమువలె నిక్కి నిలుచును అది వేటను తిని చంపబడిన వాటి రక్తము త్రాగు వరకు పండుకొనదు.

24. Beholde, the people shall ryse vp as a Lyonesse, & heue vp him self as a Lyon. He shal not lye downe, tyll he eate of the pray, and drynke the bloude of the slayne.

25. అంతట బాలాకు నీవు ఏ మాత్రమును వారిని శపింపను వద్దు, దీవింపను వద్దు అని బిలాముతో చెప్పగా

25. Then sayde Balac vnto Balaam: Thou shalt nether curse him ner blesse him.

26. బిలాము యెహోవా చెప్పినదంతయు నేను చేయవలెనని నేను నీతో చెప్పలేదా? అని బాలాకుకు ఉత్తరమియ్యగా

26. Balaam answered, & sayde vnto Balac: Haue I not tolde the: All yt the LORDE speaketh, yt must I do?

27. బాలాకు నీవు దయచేసి రమ్ము; నేను వేరొకచోటికి నిన్ను తోడుకొని పోయెదను; అక్కడ నుండి నా నిమిత్తము నీవు వారిని శపించుట దేవుని దృష్టికి అనుకూలమగునేమో అని బిలాముతో చెప్పెను.

27. Balac saide vnto him: Oh come, I wil brynge ye to another place, yf it maye happly please God, yt thou mayest curse the there.

28. బాలాకు ఎడారికి ఎదురుగా నున్న పెయోరు శిఖరమునకు బిలామును తోడుకొని పోయిన తరువాత

28. And he brought him vp to the toppe of mount Peor, yt boweth towarde the wyldernesse.

29. బిలాము ఇక్కడ నాకు ఏడు బలి పీఠములను కట్టించి, యిక్కడ ఏడు కోడెలను ఏడు పొట్టేళ్లను సిద్ధపరచుమని బాలాకుతో చెప్పెను.

29. And Balaam sayde vnto Balac: Buylde me here seuen altares, and prouyde me seuen bullockes and seuen rammes.

30. బిలాము చెప్పినట్లు బాలాకు చేసి ప్రతి బలిపీఠము మీద ఒక కోడెను ఒక పొట్టేలును అర్పించెను.
