1. యెహోవా మోషేకు ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చెనునీవు అహరోనుతో

1. The Lord said to Moses,

2. నీవు దీపములను వెలిగించునప్పుడు ఆ యేడు దీపముల వెలుగు దీపవృక్షమునకు ముందు పడునట్లు వాటిని వెలిగింపవలెనని చెప్పుమనెను. అహరోను ఆలాగు చేసెను.

2. 'Speak to Aaron. Say to him, 'Set up the seven lamps. They will give light to the area that is in front of the lampstand.' '

3. యెహోవా మోషేకు ఆజ్ఞాపించినట్లు అతడు దీపవృక్షమునకు ఎదురుగా దాని దీపములను వెలిగించెను.

3. So Aaron did it. He set up the lamps so that they faced forward on the lampstand. He did just as the Lord had commanded Moses.

4. ఆ దీపవృక్షము బంగారు నకిషిపనిగలది; అది దాని స్తంభము మొదలు కొని పుష్పములవరకు నకిషిపనిగలది; యెహోవా కనుపరచిన మాదిరినిబట్టి మోషే ఆ దీపవృక్షమును చేయించెను.

4. The lampstand was made out of hammered gold. From its base to its blooms it was made out of hammered gold. The lampstand was made exactly like the pattern the Lord had shown Moses.

5. మరియు యెహోవా మోషేకు ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను నీవు ఇశ్రాయేలీయులలో నుండి

5. The Lord spoke to Moses. He said,

6. లేవీయులను ప్రత్యే కించి వారిని పవిత్రపరచుము.

6. 'Take the Levites from among the other men of Israel. Make them 'clean' in the usual way.

7. వారిని పవిత్రపరచుటకు నీవు వారికి చేయవలసినదేమనగా, వారిమీద పాపపరిహారార్థజలమును ప్రోక్షింపుము; అప్పుడు వారు మంగలి కత్తితో తమ శరీరమంతయు గొరిగించుకొని

7. Here is how to make them pure. Sprinkle the special water on them. Then have them shave their whole bodies. Also have them wash their clothes. That is how they will make themselves pure.

8. తమ బట్టలు ఉదుకుకొని పవిత్రపరచు కొనిన తరువాత వారు ఒక కోడెను దాని నైవేద్యమును, అనగా తైలముతో కలిసిన గోధమపిండిని తేవలెను. నీవు పాపపరిహారార్థబలిగా మరియొక కోడెను తీసికొని రావలెను.

8. 'Have them get a young bull along with its grain offering. The offering must be made out of fine flour mixed with olive oil. Then you must get a second young bull. You must sacrifice it as a sin offering.

9. అప్పుడు నీవు ప్రత్యక్షపు గుడారము ఎదుటికి లేవీయులను తోడుకొని వచ్చి ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల సర్వసమాజమును పోగుచేయ వలెను.

9. 'Bring the Levites to the front of the Tent of Meeting. Gather the whole community of Israel together.

10. నీవు యెహోవా సన్నిధికి లేవీయులను తోడు కొనివచ్చిన తరువాత ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు తమ చేతులను ఆ లేవీయులమీద ఉంచవలెను.

10. You must bring the Levites to me. The men of Israel must place their hands on them.

11. లేవీయులు యెహోవా సేవచేయు వారవుటకు అహరోనును ఇశ్రాయేలీయులును ప్రతిష్ఠార్పణముగా వారిని యెహోవా సన్నిధిని ప్రతిష్ఠింపవలెను.

11. Aaron must bring the Levites to me. They are a wave offering from the people of Israel. That is how they will be set apart to do my work.

12. లేవీయులు ఆ కోడెల తలలమీద తమ చేతు లుంచిన తరువాత నీవు లేవీయుల నిమిత్తము ప్రాయశ్చి త్తము చేయునట్లు యెహోవాకు వాటిలో ఒకదానిని పాపపరిహారార్థ బలిగాను రెండవ దానిని దహనబలిగాను అర్పించి

12. 'I want the Levites to place their hands on the heads of the bulls. Then they must sacrifice one bull as a sin offering to me. And they must sacrifice the other as a burnt offering. The blood of the bulls will pay for the sin of the Levites.

13. అహరోను ఎదుటను అతని కుమారుల యెదుటను లేవీయులను నిలువబెట్టి యెహోవాకు ప్రతిష్ఠార్పణముగా వారిని అర్పింపవలెను.

13. 'Have the Levites stand in front of Aaron and his sons. Then give them as a wave offering to me.

14. అట్లు నీవు ఇశ్రాయేలీయులలో నుండి లేవీయులను వేరుపరచవలెను; లేవీయులు నావారై యుందురు.

14. That is how I want you to set the Levites apart from the other men of Israel. The Levites will belong to me.

15. తరువాత నీవు వారిని పవిత్రపరచి ప్రతి ష్ఠార్పణముగా వారిని అర్పించినప్పుడు లేవీయులు ప్రత్యక్షపు గుడారములో సేవచేయుటకై లోపలికి వెళ్లవచ్చును.

15. 'Make the Levites pure. Give them to me as a wave offering. Then they must come to do their work at the Tent of Meeting.

16. ఇశ్రాయేలీయులలో వారు నా వశము చేయబడినవారు; తొలిచూలియైన ప్రతివానికిని, అనగా ఇశ్రాయేలీయులలో ప్రథమ సంతానమంతటికిని ప్రతిగా వారిని నేను తీసికొనియున్నాను.

16. They are the men of Israel who will be given to me completely. I have taken them to be my own. I have taken them in place of every son who is born first in his family in Israel.

17. ఏలయనగా మనుష్యులలోను పశువులలోను ఇశ్రాయేలీయులలో తొలిచూలియైనది యావత్తును నాది; ఐగుప్తుదేశములో తొలిచూలియైన ప్రతివానిని నేను సంహరించిననాడు వారిని నాకొరకు ప్రతిష్ఠించు కొంటిని.

17. 'Every male that is born first in Israel belongs to me. That is true whether it is a man or an animal. I struck down all of the males that were born first to a mother in Egypt. Then I set apart for myself all of the males that were born first in Israel.

18. ఇశ్రాయేలీయులలో తొలిచూలియైన ప్రతివానికి మారుగా లేవీయులను తీసికొని యున్నాను.

18. And I have taken the Levites in place of all of the sons who are born first in Israel.

19. మరియు ప్రత్యక్షపు గుడారములో ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల నిమిత్తము సేవచేయుటకును ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల నిమిత్తము ప్రాయశ్చిత్తము చేయుటకును, ఇశ్రాయేలీయులలో లేవీయులను అహరోనుకును అతని కుమారులకును ఇచ్చి అప్పగించియున్నాను. అందువలన ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు పరిశుద్ధమందిరమునకు సమీపించునప్పుడు ఏ తెగులైనను ఇశ్రాయేలీయులకు సంభవింపకపోవును అని చెప్పెను.

19. 'I have given the Levites as gifts to Aaron and his sons. I have taken them from all of the men of Israel. I have appointed them to do the work at the Tent of Meeting. They will do it in place of the men of Israel. 'That is how they will keep the men of Israel from being guilty when they go near the sacred tent. Then no plague will strike the people of Israel when they go near the tent.'

20. అప్పుడు మోషే అహరోనులును ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల సర్వసమాజము యెహోవా లేవీయులనుగూర్చి మోషేకు ఆజ్ఞాపించిన సమస్తమునుబట్టి లేవీయులయెడల చేసిరి; ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు వారికి అట్లేచేసిరి.

20. So Moses and Aaron and the whole community of Israel did with the Levites just as the Lord had commanded Moses.

21. లేవీయులు తమ్మును పవిత్రపరచుకొని తమ బట్టలు ఉదుకుకొనిన తరువాత అహరోను యెహోవా సన్నిధిని ప్రతిష్ఠార్పణముగా వారిని అర్పించెను. వారిని పవిత్రపరచుటకు అహరోను వారినిమిత్తము ప్రాయశ్చిత్తము చేసెను.

21. The Levites made themselves pure. They washed their clothes. Then Aaron gave them to the Lord as a wave offering. That's how he paid for their sin to make them pure.

22. తరువాత లేవీయులు అహరోను ఎదుటను అతని కుమారుల యెదుటను ప్రత్యక్షపు గుడారములో సేవచేయుటకు లోపలికి వెళ్లిరి. యెహోవా లేవీయులను గూర్చి మోషేకు ఆజ్ఞాపించినట్లు అతడు వారియెడల చేసెను.

22. After that, the Levites came to do their work at the Tent of Meeting. They worked under the direction of Aaron and his sons. And so Moses and Aaron and the whole community of Israel did with the Levites just as the Lord had commanded Moses.

23. మరియు యెహోవా మోషేకు ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను ఇది లేవీయులను గూర్చిన విధి.

23. The Lord spoke to Moses. He said,

24. ఇరువది యైదేండ్లు మొదలుకొని పైప్రాయముగల ప్రతివాడును ప్రత్యక్షపు గుడారముయొక్క సేవలో పనిచేయుటకు రావలెను.

24. 'Here is what the Levites must do. Men who are 25 years old or more must come and take part in the work at the Tent of Meeting.

25. అయితే ఏబది ఏండ్ల వయస్సు పొందిన పిమ్మట వారు ఆ పని మాని ఊరకుండవలెను.

25. 'But when they reach the age of 50, they must not work any longer. They must stop doing their regular work.

26. వారు కాపాడవలసిన వాటిని కాపాడుటకు ప్రత్యక్షపు గుడారములో తమ గోత్రపువారితో కూడ పరిచర్యచేయవలెను గాని పనిచేయవలదు. లేవీయులు కాపాడవలసిన వాటివిషయము నీవు వారికి ఆలాగు నియమింపవలెను.

26. They can help their brothers with their duties at the Tent of Meeting. But they themselves should not do the work. That is how you must direct the Levites to do their work.'
