1. యెహోవా మోషేకు ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చెనునీవు అహరోనుతో

1. The LORD said to Moses,

2. నీవు దీపములను వెలిగించునప్పుడు ఆ యేడు దీపముల వెలుగు దీపవృక్షమునకు ముందు పడునట్లు వాటిని వెలిగింపవలెనని చెప్పుమనెను. అహరోను ఆలాగు చేసెను.

2. 'Give Aaron the following instructions: When you set up the seven lamps in the lampstand, place them so their light shines forward in front of the lampstand.'

3. యెహోవా మోషేకు ఆజ్ఞాపించినట్లు అతడు దీపవృక్షమునకు ఎదురుగా దాని దీపములను వెలిగించెను.

3. So Aaron did this. He set up the seven lamps so they reflected their light forward, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.

4. ఆ దీపవృక్షము బంగారు నకిషిపనిగలది; అది దాని స్తంభము మొదలు కొని పుష్పములవరకు నకిషిపనిగలది; యెహోవా కనుపరచిన మాదిరినిబట్టి మోషే ఆ దీపవృక్షమును చేయించెను.

4. The entire lampstand, from its base to its decorative blossoms, was made of beaten gold. It was built according to the exact design the LORD had shown Moses.

5. మరియు యెహోవా మోషేకు ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను నీవు ఇశ్రాయేలీయులలోనుండి

5. Then the LORD said to Moses,

6. లేవీయులను ప్రత్యే కించి వారిని పవిత్రపరచుము.

6. 'Now set the Levites apart from the rest of the people of Israel and make them ceremonially clean.

7. వారిని పవిత్రపరచుటకు నీవు వారికి చేయవలసినదేమనగా, వారిమీద పాపపరిహా రార్థజలమును ప్రోక్షింపుము; అప్పుడు వారు మంగలి కత్తితో తమ శరీరమంతయు గొరిగించుకొని

7. Do this by sprinkling them with the water of purification, and have them shave their entire body and wash their clothing. Then they will be ceremonially clean.

8. తమ బట్టలు ఉదుకుకొని పవిత్రపరచు కొనిన తరువాత వారు ఒక కోడెను దాని నైవేద్యమును, అనగా తైలముతో కలిసిన గోధమపిండిని తేవలెను. నీవు పాపపరిహారార్థబలిగా మరియొక కోడెను తీసికొని రావలెను.

8. Have them bring a young bull and a grain offering of choice flour moistened with olive oil, along with a second young bull for a sin offering.

9. అప్పుడు నీవు ప్రత్యక్షపు గుడారము ఎదుటికి లేవీయులను తోడుకొని వచ్చి ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల సర్వసమాజమును పోగుచేయ వలెను.

9. Then assemble the whole community of Israel, and present the Levites at the entrance of the Tabernacle.

10. నీవు యెహోవా సన్నిధికి లేవీయులను తోడు కొనివచ్చిన తరువాత ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు తమ చేతులను ఆ లేవీయులమీద ఉంచవలెను.

10. When you present the Levites before the LORD, the people of Israel must lay their hands on them.

11. లేవీయులు యెహోవా సేవచేయు వారవుటకు అహరోనును ఇశ్రాయేలీయులును ప్రతిష్ఠార్పణముగా వారిని యెహోవా సన్నిధిని ప్రతిష్ఠింప వలెను.

11. Raising his hands, Aaron must then present the Levites to the LORD as a special offering from the people of Israel, thus dedicating them to the LORD's service.

12. లేవీయులు ఆ కోడెల తలలమీద తమ చేతు లుంచిన తరువాత నీవు లేవీయుల నిమిత్తము ప్రాయశ్చి త్తము చేయునట్లు యెహోవాకు వాటిలో ఒకదానిని పాపపరిహారార్థ బలిగాను రెండవ దానిని దహనబలిగాను అర్పించి

12. 'Next the Levites will lay their hands on the heads of the young bulls. Present one as a sin offering and the other as a burnt offering to the LORD, to purify the Levites and make them right with the LORD.

13. అహరోను ఎదుటను అతని కుమారుల యెదుటను లేవీయులను నిలువబెట్టి యెహోవాకు ప్రతిష్ఠార్పణముగా వారిని అర్పింపవలెను.

13. Then have the Levites stand in front of Aaron and his sons, and raise your hands and present them as a special offering to the LORD.

14. అట్లు నీవు ఇశ్రాయేలీయులలో నుండి లేవీయులను వేరుపరచవలెను; లేవీయులు నావారై యుందురు.

14. In this way, you will set the Levites apart from the rest of the people of Israel, and the Levites will belong to me.

15. తరువాత నీవు వారిని పవిత్రపరచి ప్రతి ష్ఠార్పణముగా వారిని అర్పించినప్పుడు లేవీయులు ప్రత్య క్షపు గుడారములో సేవచేయుటకై లోపలికి వెళ్లవచ్చును.

15. After this, they may go into the Tabernacle to do their work, because you have purified them and presented them as a special offering.

16. ఇశ్రాయేలీయులలో వారు నా వశము చేయ బడినవారు; తొలిచూలియైన ప్రతివానికిని, అనగా ఇశ్రాయేలీయు లలో ప్రథమ సంతానమంతటికిని ప్రతిగా వారిని నేను తీసికొనియున్నాను.

16. 'Of all the people of Israel, the Levites are reserved for me. I have claimed them for myself in place of all the firstborn sons of the Israelites; I have taken the Levites as their substitutes.

17. ఏలయనగా మనుష్యులలోను పశు వులలోను ఇశ్రాయేలీయులలో తొలిచూలియైనది యావత్తును నాది; ఐగుప్తుదేశములో తొలిచూలియైన ప్రతివానిని నేను సంహరించిననాడు వారిని నాకొరకు ప్రతిష్ఠించు కొంటిని.

17. For all the firstborn males among the people of Israel are mine, both of people and of animals. I set them apart for myself on the day I struck down all the firstborn sons of the Egyptians.

18. ఇశ్రాయేలీయులలో తొలిచూలియైన ప్రతివానికి మారుగా లేవీయులను తీసికొని యున్నాను.

18. Yes, I have claimed the Levites in place of all the firstborn sons of Israel.

19. మరియు ప్రత్యక్షపు గుడారములో ఇశ్రా యేలీయుల నిమిత్తము సేవచేయుటకును ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల నిమిత్తము ప్రాయశ్చిత్తము చేయుటకును, ఇశ్రాయేలీయు లలో లేవీయులను అహరోనుకును అతని కుమారులకును ఇచ్చి అప్పగించియున్నాను. అందువలన ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు పరిశుద్ధమందిరమునకు సమీపించునప్పుడు ఏ తెగులైనను ఇశ్రాయేలీయులకు సంభవింపకపోవును అని చెప్పెను.

19. And of all the Israelites, I have assigned the Levites to Aaron and his sons. They will serve in the Tabernacle on behalf of the Israelites and make sacrifices to purify the people so no plague will strike them when they approach the sanctuary.'

20. అప్పుడు మోషే అహరోనులును ఇశ్రాయేలీ యుల సర్వసమాజము యెహోవా లేవీయులనుగూర్చి మోషేకు ఆజ్ఞాపించిన సమస్తమునుబట్టి లేవీయులయెడల చేసిరి; ఇశ్రాయేలీ యులు వారికి అట్లేచేసిరి.

20. So Moses, Aaron, and the whole community of Israel dedicated the Levites, carefully following all the LORD's instructions to Moses.

21. లేవీయులు తమ్మును పవిత్రపరచుకొని తమ బట్టలు ఉదుకుకొనిన తరు వాత అహరోను యెహోవా సన్నిధిని ప్రతిష్ఠార్పణముగా వారిని అర్పించెను. వారిని పవిత్రపరచుటకు అహరోను వారినిమిత్తము ప్రాయశ్చిత్తము చేసెను.

21. The Levites purified themselves from sin and washed their clothes, and Aaron lifted them up and presented them to the LORD as a special offering. He then offered a sacrifice to purify them and make them right with the LORD.

22. తరువాత లేవీ యులు అహరోను ఎదుటను అతని కుమారుల యెదుటను ప్రత్యక్షపు గుడారములో సేవచేయుటకు లోపలికి వెళ్లిరి. యెహోవా లేవీయులను గూర్చి మోషేకు ఆజ్ఞాపించినట్లు అతడు వారియెడల చేసెను.

22. After that the Levites went into the Tabernacle to perform their duties, assisting Aaron and his sons. So they carried out all the commands that the LORD gave Moses concerning the Levites.

23. మరియు యెహోవా మోషేకు ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చెనుఇది లేవీయులనుగూర్చిన విధి.

23. The LORD also instructed Moses,

24. ఇరువదియైదేండ్లు మొదలుకొని పైప్రాయముగల ప్రతివాడును ప్రత్యక్షపు గుడారముయొక్క సేవలో పని చేయుటకు రావలెను.

24. 'This is the rule the Levites must follow: They must begin serving in the Tabernacle at the age of twenty-five,

25. అయితే ఏబది ఏండ్ల వయస్సు పొందిన పిమ్మట వారు ఆ పని మాని ఊరకుండవలెను.

25. and they must retire at the age of fifty.

26. వారు కాపాడవలసినవాటిని కాపాడుటకు ప్రత్యక్షపు గుడారములో తమ గోత్రపువారితో కూడ పరిచర్య చేయ వలెనుగాని పనిచేయవలదు. లేవీయులు కాపాడవలసిన వాటివిషయము నీవు వారికి ఆలాగు నియమింపవలెను.

26. After retirement they may assist their fellow Levites by serving as guards at the Tabernacle, but they may not officiate in the service. This is how you must assign duties to the Levites.'
