1. యెహోవా మోషేకు ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చెనునీవు అహరోనుతో

1. GOD spoke to Moses:

2. నీవు దీపములను వెలిగించునప్పుడు ఆ యేడు దీపముల వెలుగు దీపవృక్షమునకు ముందు పడునట్లు వాటిని వెలిగింపవలెనని చెప్పుమనెను. అహరోను ఆలాగు చేసెను.

2. 'Tell Aaron, Install the seven lamps so they will throw light in front of the Lampstand.'

3. యెహోవా మోషేకు ఆజ్ఞాపించినట్లు అతడు దీపవృక్షమునకు ఎదురుగా దాని దీపములను వెలిగించెను.

3. Aaron did just that. He installed the lamps so they threw light in front of the Lampstand, as GOD had instructed Moses.

4. ఆ దీపవృక్షము బంగారు నకిషిపనిగలది; అది దాని స్తంభము మొదలు కొని పుష్పములవరకు నకిషిపనిగలది; యెహోవా కనుపరచిన మాదిరినిబట్టి మోషే ఆ దీపవృక్షమును చేయించెను.

4. The Lampstand was made of hammered gold from its stem to its petals. It was made precisely to the design GOD had shown Moses.

5. GOD spoke to Moses:

6. లేవీయులను ప్రత్యే కించి వారిని పవిత్రపరచుము.

6. 'Take the Levites from the midst of the People of Israel and purify them for doing GOD's work.

7. This is the way you will do it: Sprinkle water of absolution on them; have them shave their entire bodies; have them scrub their clothes. Then they will have purified themselves.

8. తమ బట్టలు ఉదుకుకొని పవిత్రపరచు కొనిన తరువాత వారు ఒక కోడెను దాని నైవేద్యమును, అనగా తైలముతో కలిసిన గోధమపిండిని తేవలెను. నీవు పాపపరిహారార్థబలిగా మరియొక కోడెను తీసికొని రావలెను.

8. 'Have them take a young bull with its accompanying Grain-Offering of fine flour mixed with oil, plus a second young bull for an Absolution-Offering.

9. అప్పుడు నీవు ప్రత్యక్షపు గుడారము ఎదుటికి లేవీయులను తోడుకొని వచ్చి ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల సర్వసమాజమును పోగుచేయ వలెను.

9. Bring the Levites to the front of the Tent of Meeting and gather the entire community of Israel.

10. నీవు యెహోవా సన్నిధికి లేవీయులను తోడు కొనివచ్చిన తరువాత ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు తమ చేతులను ఆ లేవీయులమీద ఉంచవలెను.

10. Present the Levites before GOD as the People of Israel lay their hands on them.

11. లేవీయులు యెహోవా సేవచేయు వారవుటకు అహరోనును ఇశ్రాయేలీయులును ప్రతిష్ఠార్పణముగా వారిని యెహోవా సన్నిధిని ప్రతిష్ఠింపవలెను.

11. Aaron will present the Levites before GOD as a Wave-Offering from the People of Israel so that they will be ready to do GOD's work.

12. లేవీయులు ఆ కోడెల తలలమీద తమ చేతు లుంచిన తరువాత నీవు లేవీయుల నిమిత్తము ప్రాయశ్చి త్తము చేయునట్లు యెహోవాకు వాటిలో ఒకదానిని పాపపరిహారార్థ బలిగాను రెండవ దానిని దహనబలిగాను అర్పించి

12. 'Have the Levites place their hands on the heads of the bulls, selecting one for the Absolution-Offering and another for the Whole-Burnt-Offering to GOD to make atonement for the Levites.

13. అహరోను ఎదుటను అతని కుమారుల యెదుటను లేవీయులను నిలువబెట్టి యెహోవాకు ప్రతిష్ఠార్పణముగా వారిని అర్పింపవలెను.

13. Then have the Levites stand in front of Aaron and his sons and present them as a Wave-Offering to GOD.

14. అట్లు నీవు ఇశ్రాయేలీయులలో నుండి లేవీయులను వేరుపరచవలెను; లేవీయులు నావారై యుందురు.

14. This is the procedure for setting apart the Levites from the rest of the People of Israel; the Levites are exclusively for my use.

15. తరువాత నీవు వారిని పవిత్రపరచి ప్రతి ష్ఠార్పణముగా వారిని అర్పించినప్పుడు లేవీయులు ప్రత్యక్షపు గుడారములో సేవచేయుటకై లోపలికి వెళ్లవచ్చును.

15. 'After you have purified the Levites and presented them as a Wave-Offering to GOD, they can go to work in the Tent of Meeting.

16. ఇశ్రాయేలీయులలో వారు నా వశము చేయబడినవారు; తొలిచూలియైన ప్రతివానికిని, అనగా ఇశ్రాయేలీయులలో ప్రథమ సంతానమంతటికిని ప్రతిగా వారిని నేను తీసికొనియున్నాను.

16. The Levites have been selected out of the People of Israel for my exclusive use; they function in place of every firstborn male born to an Israelite woman.

17. ఏలయనగా మనుష్యులలోను పశువులలోను ఇశ్రాయేలీయులలో తొలిచూలియైనది యావత్తును నాది; ఐగుప్తుదేశములో తొలిచూలియైన ప్రతివానిని నేను సంహరించిననాడు వారిని నాకొరకు ప్రతిష్ఠించు కొంటిని.

17. Every firstborn male in Israel, animal or human, is set apart for my use. When I struck down all the firstborn of Egypt, I consecrated them for my holy uses.

18. ఇశ్రాయేలీయులలో తొలిచూలియైన ప్రతివానికి మారుగా లేవీయులను తీసికొని యున్నాను.

18. But now I take the Levites as stand-ins in place of every firstborn son in Israel,

19. మరియు ప్రత్యక్షపు గుడారములో ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల నిమిత్తము సేవచేయుటకును ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల నిమిత్తము ప్రాయశ్చిత్తము చేయుటకును, ఇశ్రాయేలీయులలో లేవీయులను అహరోనుకును అతని కుమారులకును ఇచ్చి అప్పగించియున్నాను. అందువలన ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు పరిశుద్ధమందిరమునకు సమీపించునప్పుడు ఏ తెగులైనను ఇశ్రాయేలీయులకు సంభవింపకపోవును అని చెప్పెను.

19. selected out of the People of Israel, and I have given the Levites to Aaron and his sons to do all the work involved in the Tent of Meeting on behalf of all the People of Israel and to make atonement for them so that nothing bad will happen to them when they approach the Sanctuary.'

20. అప్పుడు మోషే అహరోనులును ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల సర్వసమాజము యెహోవా లేవీయులనుగూర్చి మోషేకు ఆజ్ఞాపించిన సమస్తమునుబట్టి లేవీయులయెడల చేసిరి; ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు వారికి అట్లేచేసిరి.

20. Moses, Aaron, and the entire community of the People of Israel carried out these procedures with the Levites, just as GOD had commanded Moses.

21. లేవీయులు తమ్మును పవిత్రపరచుకొని తమ బట్టలు ఉదుకుకొనిన తరువాత అహరోను యెహోవా సన్నిధిని ప్రతిష్ఠార్పణముగా వారిని అర్పించెను. వారిని పవిత్రపరచుటకు అహరోను వారినిమిత్తము ప్రాయశ్చిత్తము చేసెను.

21. The Levites purified themselves and scrubbed their clothes. Then Aaron presented them as a Wave-Offering before GOD and made atonement for them to purify them.

22. తరువాత లేవీయులు అహరోను ఎదుటను అతని కుమారుల యెదుటను ప్రత్యక్షపు గుడారములో సేవచేయుటకు లోపలికి వెళ్లిరి. యెహోవా లేవీయులను గూర్చి మోషేకు ఆజ్ఞాపించినట్లు అతడు వారియెడల చేసెను.

22. Only then did the Levites go to work at the Tent of Meeting. Aaron and his sons supervised them following the directions GOD had given.

23. మరియు యెహోవా మోషేకు ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను ఇది లేవీయులను గూర్చిన విధి.

23. GOD spoke to Moses:

24. ఇరువది యైదేండ్లు మొదలుకొని పైప్రాయముగల ప్రతివాడును ప్రత్యక్షపు గుడారముయొక్క సేవలో పనిచేయుటకు రావలెను.

24. 'These are your instructions regarding the Levites: At the age of twenty-five they will join the work force in the Tent of Meeting;

25. అయితే ఏబది ఏండ్ల వయస్సు పొందిన పిమ్మట వారు ఆ పని మాని ఊరకుండవలెను.

25. at the age of fifty they must retire from the work.

26. వారు కాపాడవలసిన వాటిని కాపాడుటకు ప్రత్యక్షపు గుడారములో తమ గోత్రపువారితో కూడ పరిచర్యచేయవలెను గాని పనిచేయవలదు. లేవీయులు కాపాడవలసిన వాటివిషయము నీవు వారికి ఆలాగు నియమింపవలెను.

26. They can assist their brothers in the tasks in the Tent of Meeting, but they are not permitted to do the actual work themselves. These are the ground rules for the work of the Levites.'
