1. జనసమూహము దేవుని వాక్యము వినుచు ఆయనమీద పడుచుండగా ఆయన గెన్నేసరెతు సరస్సుతీరమున నిలిచి,

1. It came to passe, that when ye people preassed vpon hym, to heare the worde of God, he stoode by the lake of Genezareth,

2. ఆ సరస్సు తీరముననున్న రెండుదోనెలను చూచెను; జాలరులు వాటిలోనుండి దిగి తమ వలలు కడుగుచుండిరి.

2. And sawe two shippes stande by the lakes syde: But the fisshermen were gone out of them, and were wasshyng their nettes.

3. ఆయన ఆ దోనెలలో సీమోనుదైన యొక దోనె యెక్కిదరినుండి కొంచెము త్రోయుమని అతని నడిగి, కూర్చుండి దోనెలోనుండి జనసమూహములకు బోధించుచుండెను.

3. And he entred into one of the shippes, which pertayned to Simon, and prayed hym that he woulde thrust out, a litle from the lande: And he sate downe, and taught the people out of the shippe.

4. ఆయన బోధించుట చాలించిన తరువాత నీవు దోనెను లోతునకు నడిపించి, చేపలు పట్టుటకు మీ వలలు వేయుడని సీమోనుతో చెప్పగా

4. When he had left speakyng, he sayde vnto Simon: Launche out into the deepe, and let slip your nettes, to make a draught.

5. సీమోను ఏలినవాడా, రాత్రి అంతయు మేము ప్రయాసపడితివిు గాని మాకేమియు దొరకలేదు; అయినను నీ మాట చొప్పున వలలు వేతునని ఆయనతో చెప్పెను.

5. And Simon aunswered, and sayde vnto hym: Maister, we haue laboured all nyght, and haue taken nothyng: Neuerthelesse, at thy commaundement I wyll loose foorth the nette.

6. వారాలాగు చేసి విస్తారమైన చేపలు పట్టిరి, అందుచేత వారి వలలు పిగిలిపోవుచుండగా

6. And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fisshes: But their nette brake.

7. వారు వేరొక దోనె లోనున్న తమ పాలివారు వచ్చి తమకు సహాయము చేయవలెనని వారికి సంజ్ఞలు చేసిరి; వారు వచ్చి రెండు దోనెలు మునుగునట్లు నింపిరి.

7. And they beckened vnto their felowes, which were in the other shippe, that they shoulde come, and helpe them. And they came, and fylled both the shippes, that they suncke agayne.

8. సీమోను పేతురు అది చూచి, యేసు మోకాళ్లయెదుట సాగిలపడి ప్రభువా, నన్నువిడిచి పొమ్ము, నేను పాపాత్ముడ నని చెప్పెను.

8. When Simon Peter sawe this, he fell downe at Iesus knees, saying: Lorde, go from me, for I am a sinfull man.

9. ఏలయనగా వారు పట్టిన చేపల రాశికి అతడును అతనితో కూడనున్న వారందరును విస్మయ మొందిరి.

9. For he was vtterly astonyed, and all that were with hym, at the draught of fisshes, which they had taken.

10. ఆలాగున సీమోనుతో కూడ పాలివారైన జెబెదయి కుమారులగు యాకోబును యోహానును (విస్మయ మొందిరి). అందుకు యేసు భయపడకుము, ఇప్పటినుండి నీవు మనుష్యులను పట్టువాడవై యుందువని సీమోనుతో చెప్పెను.

10. And so was also Iames and Iohn the sonnes of Zebedee, whiche were parteners with Simon. And Iesus sayde vnto Simon: Feare not, from hencefoorth thou shalt catch men.

11. వారు దోనెలను దరికిచేర్చి, సమస్తమును విడిచిపెట్టి ఆయనను వెంబడించిరి.

11. And when they had brought vp their boates to the shore, they forsoke all, and folowed hym.

12. ఆయన యొక పట్టణములో నున్నప్పుడు ఇదిగో కుష్ఠ రోగముతో నిండిన యొక మనుష్యుడుండెను. వాడు యేసును చూచి, సాగిలపడి ప్రభువా, నీ కిష్టమైతే నన్ను శుద్ధునిగా చేయగలవని ఆయనను వేడుకొనెను.

12. And it came to passe, that whe he was in a certayne citie: Beholde, [there was] a man full of leprosie, and when he had spyed Iesus, he fell flat on his face, and besought hym, saying: Lorde, yf thou wylt, thou canst make me cleane.

13. అప్పుడాయన చెయ్యిచాపి వానిని ముట్టి నాకిష్టమే; నీవు శుద్ధుడవుకమ్మని అనగానే, కుష్ఠరోగము వానిని విడిచెను.

13. And he stretched foorth his hande, and touched hym, saying: I wyll, be thou cleane. And immediatly the leprosie departed from hym. And he charged hym, that he shoulde tell no man:

14. అప్పుడాయన నీవు ఎవనితోను చెప్పక వెళ్లి, వారికి సాక్ష్యార్థమై నీ దేహమును యాజకునికి కనుపరచుకొని, నీవు శుద్ధుడవైనందుకు మోషే నియమించినట్టు కానుకలను సమర్పించుమని ఆజ్ఞాపించెను.

14. But go [sayth he] and shewe thy selfe to the priest, and offer for thy clensyng, accordyng as Moyses commaunded, for a witnesse vnto them.

15. అయితే ఆయనను గూర్చిన సమాచారము మరి ఎక్కువగా వ్యాపించెను. బహుజన సమూహములు ఆయన మాట వినుటకును తమ రోగములను కుదుర్చుకొనుటకును కూడివచ్చు చుండెను.

15. But so much the more went there a fame abrode of hym, and much people came together to heare, and to be healed of hym, from their infirmities.

16. ఆయన ప్రార్థన చేయుటకు అరణ్యము లోనికి వెళ్లుచుండెను.

16. And he kept hym selfe a part in the wildernesse, and prayed.

17. ఒకనాడాయన బోధించుచుండగా, గలిలయ యూదయదేశముల ప్రతి గ్రామమునుండియు యెరూష లేమునుండియు వచ్చిన పరిసయ్యులును ధర్మశాస్త్రోపదేశ కులును కూర్చుండియుండగా, ఆయన స్వస్థపరచునట్లు ప్రభువు శక్తి ఆయనకుండెను.

17. And it came to passe, on a certayne day, as he was teachyng, that there were pharisees & doctours of the lawe, sittyng by, which were come out of all the townes of Galilee and Iurie, and Hierusalem: And the power of the Lorde was present, to heale them.

18. ఇదిగో కొందరు మనుష్యులు పక్షవాయువుగల యొక మనుష్యుని మంచముమీద మోసి కొని, వానిని లోపలికి తెచ్చి, ఆయన యెదుట ఉంచు టకు ప్రయత్నము చేసిరి గాని

18. And beholde, men brought in a bed, a man which was taken with a paulsie, and they sought meanes to bryng hym in, and to lay hym before hym.

19. జనులు గుంపుకూడి యుండి నందున, వానిని లోపలికి తెచ్చుటకు వల్లపడక పోయెను గనుక, ఇంటిమీది కెక్కి పెంకులు విప్పి, మంచముతో కూడ యేసు ఎదుట వారి మధ్యను వానిని దించిరి.

19. And when they coulde not fynde on what syde they myght bryng hym in, because of the prease, they went vpon the toppe of the house, and let hym downe through the tylyng, bed and all, euen in the myddes before Iesus.

20. ఆయన వారి విశ్వాసము చూచి మనుష్యుడా, నీ పాప ములు క్షమింపబడియున్నవని వానితో చెప్పగా,

20. Whe he sawe their faith, he saide vnto him: Man, thy sinnes are forgeuen thee.

21. శాస్త్రు లును పరిసయ్యులును దేవదూషణ చేయుచున్న యితడెవడు? దేవుడొక్కడే తప్ప మరి ఎవడు పాపములు క్షమింపగలడని ఆలోచించుకొనసాగిరి.

21. And the scribes and the pharisees, began to thynke, saying: What felowe is this, which speaketh blasphemies? Who can forgeue sinnes but God only?

22. యేసు వారి ఆలోచన లెరిగిమీరు మీ హృదయములలో ఏమి ఆలో చించుచున్నారు?

22. But when Iesus perceaued their thoughtes, he aunswered, & sayde vnto them: What thynke ye in your heartes?

23. నీ పాపములు క్షమింపబడి యున్న వని చెప్పుట సులభమా? నీవు లేచి నడువుమని చెప్పుట సులభమా?

23. Whether is easier to say, thy sinnes be forgeuen thee: or to say, ryse vp & walke?

24. అయితే పాపములు క్షమించుటకు భూమి మీద మనుష్యకుమారునికి అధికారము కలదని మీరు తెలిసికొనవలెను అని వారితో చెప్పి, పక్షవాయువు గల వాని చూచినీవు లేచి, నీ మంచమెత్తికొని, నీ యింటికి వెళ్లుమని నీతో చెప్పుచున్నాననెను.

24. But that ye may knowe that the sonne of man hath power to forgeue sinnes on earth (he sayde vnto the sicke of the paulsie) I say vnto thee, aryse, take vp thy bed, and go vnto thy house.

25. వెంటనే వాడు వారియెదుట లేచి, తాను పండుకొనియున్న మంచము ఎత్తి కొని, దేవుని మహిమపరచుచు తన యింటికి వెళ్లెను.

25. And immediatly he rose vp before them, and toke vp his bed, wheron he lay, and departed to his owne house, praysyng God.

26. అందరును విస్మయమొందినేడు గొప్ప వింతలు చూచితి మని దేవుని మహిమపరచుచు భయముతో నిండుకొనిరి.

26. And they were all amazed, and they gaue the glory vnto God, and were fylled with feare, saying: Doutlesse we haue seene straunge thynges to day.

27. అటుపిమ్మట ఆయన బయలుదేరి, లేవి యను ఒక సుంకరి, సుంకపు మెట్టునొద్ద కూర్చుండియుండుట చూచి నన్ను వెంబడించుమని అతనితో చెప్పగా

27. After these thynges, he went foorth, & sawe a publicane named Leui, sittyng at the receipt of custome: and he sayde vnto hym, folowe me.

28. అతడు సమస్తమును విడిచిపెట్టి, లేచి, ఆయనను వెంబడించెను.

28. And he left all, rose vp, & folowed him.

29. ఆ లేవి, తన యింట ఆయనకు గొప్ప విందు చేసెను. సుంకరులును ఇతరులు అనేకులును వారితో కూడ భోజన మునకు కూర్చుండిరి.

29. And Leui made hym a great feast in his owne house. And there was a great companie of publicanes, and of other that sate [at meate] with them.

30. పరిసయ్యులును వారి శాస్త్రులును ఇది చూచి సుంకరులతోను పాపులతోను మీరేల తిని త్రాగుచున్నారని ఆయన శిష్యులమీద సణిగిరి.

30. But they that were scribes and pharisees among them, murmured agaynst his disciples saying: Why do ye eate and drynke with publicanes and sinners?

31. అందుకు యేసురోగులకే గాని ఆరోగ్యముగల వారికి వైద్యుడక్కరలేదు.

31. And Iesus aunswered, and saide vnto them, They that are whole, neede not the phisition: But they that are sicke.

32. మారుమనస్సు పొందుటకై నేను పాపులను పిలువవచ్చితిని గాని నీతిమంతులను పిలువరాలేదని వారితో చెప్పెను.

32. I came not to call the ryghteous: but sinners to repentaunce.

33. వారాయనను చూచి యోహాను శిష్యులు తరచుగా ఉపవాసప్రార్థనలు చేయుదురు; ఆలాగే పరిసయ్యుల శిష్యులును చేయుదురు గాని, నీ శిష్యులు తిని త్రాగుచున్నారే అని చెప్పిరి.

33. And they sayde vnto hym: Why do the disciples of Iohn fast often, & pray, and the disciples of the pharisees also: but thyne eate and drynke?

34. అందుకు యేసుపెండ్లి కుమారుడు తమతో ఉన్నంతకాలము పెండ్లి ఇంటి వారి చేత మీరు ఉపవాసము చేయింప గలరా?

34. He sayde vnto them. Can ye make the chyldren of the weddyng chaumber fast, whyle the brydegrome in with the?

35. పెండ్లికుమా రుడు వారియొద్దనుండి కొనిపోబడు దినములు వచ్చును; ఆ దినములలో వారు ఉపవాసము చేతురని వారితో చెప్పెను.

35. But the dayes wyll come, when the brydegrome also shalbe taken away fro them: then shall they fast in those dayes.

36. ఆయన వారితో ఒక ఉపమానము చెప్పెను. ఎట్లనగాఎవడును పాతబట్టకు క్రొత్తగుడ్డ మాసికవేయడు; వేసిన యెడల క్రొత్తది దానిని చింపివేయును; అదియునుగాక క్రొత్తదానిలోనుండి తీసిన ముక్క పాతదానితో కలియదు.

36. He spake also vnto them a similitude. No man putteth a peece of a newe garment, into an olde vesture: For then the newe renteth [the olde,] and the peece that was [taken] out of the newe, agreeth not with the olde.

37. ఎవడును పాత తిత్తులలో క్రొత్త ద్రాక్షారసము పోయడు; పోసినయెడల క్రొత్త ద్రాక్షారసము తిత్తులను పిగుల్చును, రసము కారిపోవును, తిత్తులును పాడగును.

37. And no man powreth newe wyne into olde vessels: For yf he do, the newe wyne wyll burst the vessels, and runne out it selfe, and the vessels shall perishe.

38. అయితే క్రొత్త ద్రాక్షారసము కొత్త తిత్తులలో పోయవలెను.

38. But newe wine must be put into newe vessels, and both are preserued.

39. పాత ద్రాక్షారసము త్రాగి వెంటనే క్రొత్త దానిని కోరువాడెవడును లేడు; పాతదే మంచిదనునని చెప్పెను.

39. No man also that drinketh olde wyne, strayghtway can awaye with newe: For he sayth, the olde is better.
