1. మమ్మును మేమే తిరిగి మెప్పించుకొన మొదలు పెట్టు చున్నామా? కొందరికి కావలసినట్టు మీయొద్దకైనను మీ యొద్దనుండియైనను సిఫారసు పత్రికలు మాకు అవసరమా?

1. Are we making it sound as if we think we are so important? Other people write letters about themselves. Do we need to write such a letter to you?

2. మా హృదయములమీద వ్రాయబడియుండి, మనుష్యులందరు తెలిసికొనుచు చదువుకొనుచున్న మా పత్రిక మీరేకారా?

2. You are our letter. You are written in our hearts. You are known and read by all men.

3. You are as a letter from Christ written by us. You are not written as other letters are written with ink, or on pieces of stone. You are written in human hearts by the Spirit of the living God.

4. We can say these things because of our faith in God through Christ.

5. మావలన ఏదైన అయినట్లుగా ఆలోచించుటకు మాయంతట మేమే సమర్థులమని కాదు; మా సామర్థ్యము దేవుని వలననే కలిగియున్నది.

5. We know we are not able in ourselves to do any of this work. God makes us able to do these things.

6. ఆయనే మమ్మును క్రొత్త నిబంధనకు, అనగా అక్షరమునకు కాదు గాని ఆత్మకే పరిచారకులమవుటకు మాకు సామర్థ్యము కలిగించియున్నాడు. అక్షరము చంపునుగాని ఆత్మ జీవింపచేయును.

6. God is the One Who made us preachers of a New Way of Worship. This New Way of Worship is not of the Law. It is of the Holy Spirit. The Law brings death, but the Holy Spirit gives life.

7. మరణ కారణమగు పరిచర్య, రాళ్లమీద చెక్కబడిన అక్షరములకు సంబంధించినదైనను, మహి మతో కూడినదాయెను. అందుకే మోషే ముఖముమీద ప్రకాశించుచుండిన ఆ మహిమ తగ్గిపోవునదైనను, ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు అతని ముఖము తేరిచూడలేక పోయిరి.

7. The Law of Moses was written on stone and it brought death. But God's shining-greatness was seen when it was given. When Moses took it to the Jews, they could not look at his face because of the bright light. But that bright light in his face began to pass away.

8. ఇట్లుండగా ఆత్మసంబంధ మైన పరిచర్య యెంత మహిమగలదై యుండును?

8. The new way of life through the Holy Spirit comes with much more shining-greatness.

9. శిక్షా విధికి కారణమైన పరిచర్యయే మహిమ కలిగినదైతే నీతికి కారణమైన పరిచర్య యెంతో అధికమైన మహిమ కల దగును.

9. If the Law of Moses, that leads to death, came in shining-greatness, how much greater and brighter is the light that makes us right with God?

10. అత్యధికమైన మహిమ దీనికుండుటవలన ఇంతకు మునుపు మహిమ కలదిగా చేయబడినది యీ విషయములో మహిమలేనిదాయెను.

10. The Law of Moses came with shining-greatness long ago. But that light is no longer bright. The shining-greatness of the New Way of Worship that brings us life is so much brighter.

11. తగ్గిపోవునదే మహిమగలదై యుండినయెడల, నిలుచునది మరి యెక్కువ మహిమగలదై యుండును గదా.

11. The shining light that came with the Law of Moses soon passed away. But the new way of life is much brighter. It will never pass away.

12. తగ్గిపోవుచున్న మహిమయొక్క అంతమును ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు తేరిచూడకుండునట్లు మోషే తన ముఖము మీద ముసుకు వేసికొనెను.

12. We speak without fear because our trust is in Christ.

13. మేమట్లు చేయక, యిట్టి నిరీక్షణ గలవారమై బహు ధైర్యముగా మాటలాడు చున్నాము.

13. We are not like Moses. He put a covering over his face so the Jews would not see that the bright light was passing away.

14. మరియు వారి మనస్సులు కఠినములాయెను గనుక నేటివరకును పాతనిబంధన చదువబడునప్పుడు, అది క్రీస్తునందు కొట్టివేయ బడెనని వారికి తేటపరచబడక, ఆ ముసుకే నిలిచియున్నది.

14. Their minds were not able to understand. Even to this day when the Law is read, there is a covering over their minds. They do not see that Christ is the only One Who can take the covering away.

15. Yes, to this day, there is a covering over their hearts whenever the Law of Moses is read.

16. వారి హృదయము ప్రభువువైపునకు ఎప్పుడు తిరుగునో అప్పుడు ముసుకు తీసివేయబడును.

16. But whenever a man turns to the Lord, the covering is taken away.

17. ప్రభువే ఆత్మ ప్రభువుయొక్క ఆత్మయెక్కడ నుండునో అక్కడ స్వాతంత్ర్యము నుండును.

17. The heart is free where the Spirit of the Lord is. The Lord is the Spirit.

18. మన మందరమును ముసుకు లేని ముఖముతో ప్రభువుయొక్క మహిమను అద్దమువలె ప్రతిఫలింపజేయుచు, మహిమనుండి అధిక మహిమను పొందుచు, ప్రభువగు ఆత్మచేత ఆ పోలిక గానే మార్చబడుచున్నాము.

18. All of us, with no covering on our faces, show the shining-greatness of the Lord as in a mirror. All the time we are being changed to look like Him, with more and more of His shining-greatness. This change is from the Lord Who is the Spirit.
