1. మరియు యెహోవా నాతో చెప్పినట్లు మనము తిరిగి ఎఱ్ఱసముద్ర మార్గమున అరణ్యమునకు ప్రయాణమై పోయి బహు దినములు శేయీరు మన్నెము చుట్టు తిరిగి తివిు.

1. Then turned we, and set forward towards the desert by way of the Red Sea, as Yahweh, spake unto me; and we encompassed Mount Seir many days.

2. అంతట యెహోవా నాకు ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను మీరు ఈ మన్నెముచుట్టు తిరిగినకాలము చాలును;

2. And Yahweh spake unto me, saying:

3. ఉత్తరదిక్కుకు తిరుగుడి. మరియు నీవు ప్రజలతో ఇట్లనుము

3. Long enough, have ye encompassed this mountain, turn yourselves north, wards.

4. శేయీరులో కాపురమున్న ఏశావు సంతాన మైన మీ సహోదరుల పొలిమేరను దాటి వెళ్లబోవు చున్నారు, వారు మీకు భయపడుదురు; మీరు మిక్కిలి జాగ్రత్తగా ఉండుడి.

4. And, the people, command thou saying, Ye are about to pass through the boundary of your brethren the sons of Esau, who are dwelling in Seir, and should they he afraid of you, take ye good heed to yourselves:

5. వారితో కలహపడవద్దు; ఏలయనగా ఏశావుకు స్వాస్థ్యముగా శేయీరు మన్నెము నేనిచ్చి యున్నాను గనుక వారి భూమిలోనిది ఒక అడుగైనను మీకియ్యను.

5. do not engage in strife with them, for I will not give you of their land, so much as place for the tread of a foot-sole, for as a possession to Esau, have I given Mount Seir.

6. మీరు రూకలిచ్చి వారియొద్ద ఆహారము కొని తినవచ్చును. రూకలిచ్చి వారియొద్ద నీళ్లు సంపాదించుకొని త్రాగవచ్చును.

6. Food, shall ye buy of them with silver so shall ye eat, yea even water, shall ye buy of them with silver so shall ye drink.

7. నీ చేతుల పనులన్నిటిలోను నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా నిన్ను ఆశీర్వ దించెను. ఈ గొప్ప అరణ్యములో నీవు ఈ నలువది సంవత్సరములు సంచరించిన సంగతి ఆయన యెరుగును. నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా నీకు తోడై యున్నాడు, నీకేమియు తక్కువకాదు.

7. For Yahweh thy God, hath blessed thee in all the work of thy hand, he hath considered thy traversing of this great desert, these forty years, hath Yahweh thy God been with thee, thou hast lacked, nothing.

8. అప్పుడు శేయీరులో నివసించు ఏశావు సంతానపు వారైన మన సహోదరులను విడిచి, ఏలతు ఎసోన్గెబెరు అరాబా మార్గమునుండి మనము ప్రయాణము చేసితివిు.

8. So we passed on, a way from our brethren the sons of Esau who dwell in Seir, from the way of the waste plain, from Elath, and from Ezion-geber, and we turned and passed on by way of the desert of Moab.

9. మనము తిరిగి మోయాబు అరణ్యమార్గమున ప్రయా ణము చేయుచుండగా యెహోవా నాతో ఇట్లనెనుమోయాబీయులను బాధింపవద్దు; వారితో యుద్ధముచేయ వద్దు. లోతు సంతానమునకు ఆరు దేశమును స్వాస్థ్య ముగా ఇచ్చితిని, వారి భూమిలో ఏదియు నీకు స్వాస్థ్యముగా ఇయ్యను.

9. And Yahweh said unto me Do not lay siege to Moab, nor engage in strife with them in battle, for I will not give unto thee of his and as a possession, for unto the sons of Lot, have I given Ar, as a possession.

10. పూర్వకాలమున ఏమీయులనువారు ఆరు దేశములో నివసించిరి. వారు అనాకీయులవలె, ఉన్నత దేహులు, బలవంతులైన బహు జనులు. వారును అనాకీయులవలె రెఫాయీయులుగా ఎంచబడిన వారు.

10. the Emim, formerly dwelt therein, a people great and many and tall, like the Anakim.

11. మోయాబీయులు వారికి ఏమీయులని పేరు పెట్టిరి.

11. Giants, used, they also, to be accounted like the Anakim, but the Moabites, called them Emim.

12. పూర్వకాలమున హోరీయులు శేయీరులో నివసించిరి. ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు యెహోవా తమకిచ్చిన స్వాస్థ్యమైన దేశములో చేసినట్లు ఏశావు సంతానపువారు హోరీయుల దేశమును స్వాధీన పరచుకొని తమ యెదుటనుండి వారిని నశింపజేసి వారి దేశములో నివసించిరి.

12. And in Seir, dwelt the Horim aforetime, but, the sons of Esau, dispossessed them, and destroyed them from before them, and dwelt in their stead, as did Israel unto the land of his own possession, which Yahweh had given unto them.

13. కాబట్టిమీరు లేచి జెరెదు ఏరుదాటుడి అని యెహోవా సెలవియ్యగా జెరెదు ఏరు దాటి తివిు.

13. Now, arise, and pass ye over the ravine of Zered. So we passed over the ravine of Zered.

14. మనము కాదేషు బర్నేయలోనుండి బయలు దేరి జెరెదు ఏరుదాటువరకు, అనగా యెహోవా వారిని గూర్చి ప్రమాణము చేసినట్లు సైనికులైన ఆ మనుష్యుల తరమువారందరు సేనలోనుండకుండ నశించువరకు మనము నడిచిన కాలము ముప్పది యెనిమిది సంవత్సరములు. అంతేకాదు, వారు నశించువరకు

14. Now, the days in which we journeyed from Kadesh-barnea, as far as where we crossed the ravine of Zered, were thirty-eight years, until all the generation of the men of war were consumed out of the midst of the camp, as Yahweh had sworn unto them.

15. సేన మధ్యనుండి వారిని సంహరించుటకు యెహోవా బాహువు వారికి విరోధముగా నుండెను.

15. Yea, even the hand of Yahweh was against them, to destroy them out of the midst of the camp, until they were consumed.

16. సైనికులైన వారందరు ప్రజలలోనుండి లయమైపోయిన తరువాత యెహోవా నాకు ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను.

16. So it came to pass when all the men of war were consumed by dying, out of the midst of the people,

17. నేడు నీవు మోయాబునకు సరిహద్దుగానున్న ఆరు దేశము దాటబోవుచున్నావు.

17. then spake Yahweh unto me, saying:

18. అమ్మోనీయుల మార్గమున వెళ్లునప్పుడు

18. Thou, art passing, to-day, the boundary of Moab even Ar;

19. వారిని బాధింపవద్దు, వారితో యుద్ధము చేయవద్దు. ఏలయనగా లోతు సంతానమునకు దానిని స్వాస్థ్యముగా ఇచ్చినందున అమ్మోనీయుల దేశములో నీకు స్వాస్థ్యము నియ్యను.

19. so wilt thou draw near over against the sons of Ammon, do not thou besiege them neither engage in strife with them, for I will not give of the land of the sons of Ammon unto thee as a possession, for unto the sons of Lot, have I given it as a possession.

20. అదియు రెఫాయీయుల దేశమని యెంచబడుచున్నది. పూర్వమందు రెఫాయీ యులు అందులో నివసించిరి. అమ్మోనీయులు వారిని జంజుమీ్మయులందురు.

20. A land of giants, used, that also, to be accounted, giants, dwelt therein aforetime, but the Ammonites, called them Zamzummim:

21. వారు అనాకీయులవలె ఉన్నత దేహులు, బలవంతు లైన బహు జనులు. అయితే యెహోవా అమ్మోనీయుల యెదుటనుండి వారిని వెళ్లగొట్టెను గనుక అమ్మోనీయులు వారి దేశమును స్వాధీనపరచుకొని వారి చోట నివసించిరి.

21. a people great and many and tall, like the Anakim, but Yahweh destroyed them from before them, and they took their possessions, and dwelt in their stead:

22. అట్లు ఆయన శేయీరులో నివసించు ఏశావు సంతానముకొరకు చేసెను. ఎట్లనగా ఆయన వారి యెదుటనుండి హోరీయులను నశింపజేసెను గనుక వారు హోరీయుల దేశమును స్వాధీనపరచుకొని నేటి వరకు వారిచోట నివసించుచున్నారు.

22. as he did for the sons of Esau, who are dwelling in Seir, when he destroyed the Horim from before them, and they took their possessions and have dwelt in their stead, even unto this day.

23. గాజావరకు గ్రామములలో నివసించిన ఆవీయులను కఫ్తోరులోనుండి బయలుదేరి వచ్చిన కఫ్తారీయులు నశింపజేసి వారిచోట నివసించిరి.

23. The Avvim also, who dwelt in settlements as far as Gaza, Caphtorim, who were coming forth out of Caphtor, destroyed them, and dwelt in their stead.

24. మీరు లేచి సాగి అర్నోను ఏరుదాటుడి; ఇదిగో అమోరీయుడైన హెష్బోను రాజగు సీహోనును అతని దేశమును నీ చేతికి అప్పగించితిని. దాని స్వాధీన పరచుకొన మొదలుపెట్టి అతనితో యుద్ధము చేయుడి.

24. Arise ye, set forward and cross over the ravine of Arnon, see! I have given into thy hand Sihon king of Heshbon, the Amorite and his land, begin take possession, and engage in strife with him in battle.

25. నేడు నేను నీవలని భయము నీవలని వెరపు ఆకాశము క్రిందనున్న సమస్త దేశముల వారికిని పుట్టింప మొదలు పెట్టుచున్నాను. వారు నిన్నుగూర్చిన సమాచారము విని నీయెదుట వణకి మనోవేదన నొందుదురు.

25. This day, will I begin to extend the dread of thee and the fear of thee over the face of the peoples under all the heavens, who will hear the report of thee, then will they quake and writhe in pain because of thee.

26. అప్పుడు నేను కెదేమోతు అరణ్యములోనుండి హెష్బోను రాజైన సీహోనునొద్దకు దూతలను పంపి

26. So I sent messengers out of the desert of Kademoth, unto Sihon, king of Heshbon, with words of peace saying:

27. నన్ను నీ దేశముగుండ దాటిపోనిమ్ము, కుడియెడమలకు తిరుగక త్రోవనే నడిచిపోవుదును.

27. I would pass along through thy land, by the road, by the road, will I go, I will not turn aside, to the right hand or to the left:

28. నాయొద్ద రూకలు తీసికొని తినుటకు భోజనపదార్థములు నా కిమ్ము; నాయొద్ద రూకలు తీసికొని త్రాగుటకు నీళ్లిమ్ము.

28. Food for silver, shalt thou sell me so will I eat, and water for silver, shalt thou let me have, so will I drink, only I would pass through on my feet;

29. శేయీరులో నివసించు ఏశావు సంతాన పువారును ఆరులో నివసించు మోయాబీయులును నాకు చేసినట్లు, మా దేవుడైన యెహోవా మాకిచ్చుచున్న దేశములో ప్రవేశించుటకై యొర్దాను దాటువరకు కాలి నడకచేతనే నన్ను వెళ్లనిమ్మని సమాధానపు మాటలు పలికించితిని.

29. as the sons of Esau, who are dwelling in Seir, did to me, and the Moabites who are dwelling in Ar, until that I pass over the Jordan, into the land which, Yahweh our God, is giving unto us.

30. అయితే హెష్బోను రాజైన సీహోను మనలను తన దేశమార్గమున వెళ్ల నిచ్చు టకు సమ్మతింపలేదు. నేడు జరిగినట్లు నీ చేతికి అతని అప్పగించుటకు నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా అతని మనస్సును కఠినపరచి అతని హృదయమునకు తెగింపు కలుగజేసెను.

30. But Sihon king of Heshbon, was not willing, to let us pass along through it, for Yahweh thy God had suffered him to make his spirit harsh and his heart bold, that he might give him into thy hand (as appeareth this day).

31. అప్పుడు యెహోవాచూడుము; సీహోనును అతని దేశమును నీకు అప్పగింప మొదలు పెట్టియున్నాను. అతని దేశము నీదగునట్లు నీవు దాని స్వాధీనపరచుకొన మొదలు పెట్టుమని నాతో చెప్పెను.

31. Then said Yahweh unto me, See! I have begun to deliver up before thee Sihon and his land, begin take possession, that thou mayest make a possession of his land.

32. సీహోనును అతని సమస్త జనమును యాహసులో యుద్ధము చేయుటకై మనకు ఎదు రుగా బయలుదేరి రాగా

32. So then Sihon came out to meet us he, and all his people, to give battle at Jahaz.

33. మన దేవుడైన యెహోవా అతనిని మనకు అప్పగించెను గనుక మనము అతనిని అతని కుమారులను అతని సమస్త జనమును హతము చేసి

33. And Yahweh our God delivered him up before us, and we smote him and his sons, and all his people

34. ఆ కాల మున అతని సమస్త పురములను పట్టుకొని, ప్రతి పురమును అందలి స్త్రీ పురుషులను పిల్లలను శేషమేమియులేకుండ నాశనము చేసితివిు.

34. And we captured all his cities, at that time, and devoted to destruction every city of males, with the women and the little ones, we left not remaining a survivor:

35. పశువులను మనము పట్టుకొనిన పురముల సొమ్మును దోపిడిగా దోచుకొంటిమి.

35. only the cattle, made we our prey, and the spoil of the cities which we captured.

36. అర్నోను ఏటిలోయ దరినున్న అరోయేరును ఆ యేటియొద్దనున్న పురము మొదలుకొని గిలాదువరకు మనకు అసాధ్యమైన నగర మొకటియు లేకపోయెను. మన దేవుడైన యెహోవా అన్నిటిని మనకు అప్పగించెను.

36. From Aroer, which is on the edge of the ravine of Arnon and the city that is in the ravine even as far as Gilead, there was not a fortress that proved too high for us, the whole, did Yahweh our God deliver up before us.

37. అయితే అమ్మోనీయుల దేశమునకైనను యబ్బోకు ఏటి లోయలోని యే ప్రాంత మునకైనను ఆ మన్నెములోని పురములకైనను మన దేవు డైన యెహోవా పోకూడదని చెప్పిన మరి ఏ స్థలమున కైనను నీవు సమీపింపలేదు.

37. Only unto the land of the sons of Ammon, didst thou not come near, all the side of the Jabbok ravine, nor the cities of the hill country, nor any which Yahweh our God had forbidden to us.
