1. మనము తిరిగి బాషాను మార్గమున వెళ్లినప్పుడు బాషాను రాజైనఓగును అతని ప్రజలందరును ఎద్రెయీలో మనతో యుద్ధము చేయుటకు బయలుదేరి యెదురుగా రాగా

1. Then turned we and went up, the way of Bashan; and Og king of Bashan, came out to meet us, he, and all his people, to give battle at Edrei.

2. యెహోవా నాతో ఇట్లనెను అతనికి భయ పడకుము, అతనిని అతని సమస్త జనమును అతని దేశమును నీ చేతికి అప్పగించియున్నాను. హెష్బోనులో నివసించిన అమోరీయుల రాజైన సీహోనుకు చేసినట్లు ఇతనికిని చేయవలెనని చెప్పెను.

2. And Yahweh said unto me: Do not fear him, for into thy hand, have I delivered him and all his people and his land, so then thou shalt do unto him, as thou didst unto Sihon king of the Amorites who was dwelling in Heshbon.

3. అట్లు మన దేవుడైన యెహోవా బాషాను రాజైన ఓగును అతని సమస్త జనమును మనచేతికి అప్పగించెను; అతనికి శేషమేమియు లేకుండ అతనిని హతము చేసితివిు.

3. Then did Yahweh our God deliver into our hand, Og also, king of Bashan and all his people, so we smote him until there was not left remaining to him a survivor.

4. ఆ కాలమున అతని పురములన్నిటిని పట్టుకొంటిమి. వారి పురములలో మనము పట్టుకొనని పురమొకటియు లేదు. బాషానులో ఓగురాజ్యమగు అర్గోబు ప్రదేశమందంతటనున్న అరువది పురములను పట్టుకొంటిమి.

4. And we captured all his cities, at that time, there was no fortress which we took not from them, sixty cities all the region of Argob, the kingdom of Og in Bashan.

5. ఆ పురములన్నియు గొప్ప ప్రాకార ములు గవునులు గడియలునుగల దుర్గములు. అవియు గాక ప్రాకారములేని పురములనేకములను పట్టు కొంటిమి.

5. All these, were fortified cities each with a high wall, folding gates and a bar, besides country towns exceeding many.

6. మనము హెష్బోను రాజైన సీహోనుకు చేసినట్లు వాటిని నిర్మూలము చేసితివిు; ప్రతి పురములోని స్త్రీ పురుషులను పిల్లలను నిర్మూలము చేసితివిు;

6. And we devoted them to destruction, doing unto them as we did unto Sihon king of Heshbon, devoting to destruction every city of males, the women, and the little ones.

7. వారి పశువులనన్నిటిని ఆ పురముల సొమ్మును దోపిడిగా తీసి కొంటిమి.

7. But all the cattle, and the spoil of the cities, made we our prey.

8. ఆ కాలమున అర్నోను ఏరు మొదలుకొని హెర్మోను కొండవరకు యొర్దాను అవతలనున్న దేశమును అమోరీయుల యిద్దరు రాజులయొద్దనుండి పట్టుకొంటిమి.

8. Thus did we at that time take the land out of the hand of the two kings of the Amorites (which was over the Jordan), from the ravine of Arnon as far as Mount Hermon.

9. సీదోనీయులు హెర్మోనును షిర్యోనని అందురు. అమో రీయులు దానిని శెనీరని అందురు.

9. Sidonians, call Hermon Sirion, but, the Amorites, call it Senir.

10. మైదానమందలి పురములన్నిటిని బాషానునందలి ఓగు రాజ్యపురములైన సల్కా ఎద్రెయీ అనువాటివరకు గిలాదంతటిని బాషా నును పట్టుకొంటిమి.

10. All the cities of the table-land, and all Gilead, and all Bashan, unto Salecah, and Edrei, cities of the kingdom of Og, in Bashan.

11. రెఫాయీయులలో బాషాను రాజైన ఓగు మాత్రము మిగిలెను. అతని మంచము ఇనుప మంచము. అది అమ్మోనీయుల రబ్బాలోనున్నది గదా? దాని పొడుగు మనుష్యుని మూరతో తొమ్మిది మూరలు దాని వెడల్పు నాలుగు మూరలు.

11. For, only Og, king of Bashan was left remaining of the remnant of the giants, lo! his bedstead, was a bedstead of iron, is not, the same, in Rabbath of the sons of Ammon? nine cubits, the length thereof and four cubits, the breadth thereof, by the fore-arm of a man.

12. అర్నోను లోయలో నున్న అరోయేరు మొదలుకొని గిలాదు మన్నెములో సగమును, మనము అప్పుడు స్వాధీనపరచుకొనిన దేశ మును, దాని పురములను రూబేనీయులకును గాదీయులకును ఇచ్చితిని.

12. And this land, took we in possession at that time, from Aroer which is by the ravine of Arnon, and half the hill-country of Gilead and the cities thereof, gave I unto the Reubenites and unto the Gadites;

13. ఓగు రాజు దేశమైన బాషాను యావ త్తును గిలాదులో మిగిలిన దానిని, అనగా రెఫాయీయుల దేశమనబడిన బాషాను అంతటిని అర్గోబు ప్రదేశమంత టిని మనష్షే అర్ధ గోత్రమున కిచ్చితిని.

13. but the remainder of Gilead, and all Bashan the kingdom of Og, gave I unto the half tribe of Manasseh, all the region of the Argob with all Bashan. The same, is called, A land of giants.

14. మనష్షే కుమారు డైన యాయీరు గెషూరీయులయొక్కయు మాయా కాతీయు యొక్కయు సరిహద్దులవరకు అర్గోబు ప్రదేశ మంతటిని పట్టుకొని, తన పేరునుబట్టి వాటికి యాయీరు బాషాను గ్రామములని పేరు పెట్టెను. నేటివరకు ఆ పేర్లు వాటికున్నవి.

14. Jair, son of Manasseh, took all the region of Argob, as far as the boundary of the Geshurites, and the Maachathites, and called them after his own name The Bashan of Havvoth-jair unto this day.

15. మాకీరీయులకు గిలాదు నిచ్చితిని.

15. And, unto Machir, gave I Gilead;

16. గిలాదు మొదలుకొని అర్నోను లోయ మధ్యవరకును, యబ్బోకు నదివరకును అమ్మోనీయుల పడమటి సరిహద్దు వరకును

16. And unto the Reubenites and unto the Gadites, gave I from Gilead even as far as the ravine of Arnon, the middle of the ravine and boundary, even as far as the Jabbok ravine, the boundary of the sons

17. కిన్నెరెతు మొదలుకొని తూర్పుదిక్కున పిస్గా కొండ చరియల దిగువగా, ఉప్పు సముద్రము అనబడివ అరాబా సముద్రమువరకును వ్యాపించియున్న అరాబా ప్రదేశమును, యొర్దాను లోయ మధ్యభూమిని రూబేనీ యులకును గాదీయులకును ఇచ్చితిని.

17. Ammon; the Waste Plain also and the Jordan and boundary, from Chinnereth, even as far as the sea of the Waste Plain the Salt Sea, under the slopes of Pisgah, on the east.

18. ఆ కాలమందు నేను మిమ్మును చూచిమీరు స్వాధీన పరచుకొనునట్లు మీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా ఈ దేశమును మీకిచ్చెను. మీలో పరాక్రమవంతులందరు యుద్ధసన్న ధ్దులై మీ సహోదరులగు ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల ముందర నది దాటవలెను.

18. So I commanded you, at that time saying, Yahweh your God hath given unto you this land to possess it, armed, shall ye pass over before your brethren the sons of Israel all the sons of valour,

19. అయితే యెహోవా మీకు విశ్రాంతి నిచ్చినట్లు మీ సహోదరులకును, విశ్రాంతినిచ్చువరకు,

19. Only, your wives and your little ones and your cattle I know that ye have much cattle shall abide in your cities which I have given unto you;

20. అనగా మీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా యొర్దాను అద్దరిని వారి కిచ్చుచున్న దేశమును వారును స్వాధీనపరచుకొనువరకు, మీ భార్యలును మీ పిల్లలును మీ మందలును నేను మీ కిచ్చిన పురములలో నివసింప వలెను. తరువాత మీలో ప్రతివాడును నేను మీకిచ్చిన తన తన స్వాస్థ్యమునకు తిరిగి రావలెనని మీకు ఆజ్ఞాపించితిని. మీ మందలు విస్తారములని నాకు తెలియును.

20. until that Yahweh shall give rest unto your brethren, as well as you, so shall, they too, possess the land which, Yahweh your God, is giving unto them, over the Jordan, then shall ye return every man unto his possession, which I have given unto you.

21. ఆ కాలమున నేను యెహోషువతో ఇట్లంటినిమీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా ఈ యిద్దరు రాజులకు చేసినదంతయు నీవు కన్నులార చూచితివి గదా. నీవు వెళ్లుచున్న రాజ్యముల నన్నిటికిని యెహోవా ఆలాగుననే చేయును.

21. Jeshua also, commanded I, at that time saying, Thine are the eyes, that have seen all that Yahweh your God hath done unto these two kings, thus, will Yahweh do unto all the kingdoms whereunto thou, art passing over:

22. మీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా మీ పక్షముగా యుద్ధముచేయువాడు గనుక వారికి భయపడవద్దని ఆజ్ఞాపించితిని.

22. ye shall not fear them, for, Yahweh your God, he, it is that is fighting for you.

23. మరియు ఆ కాలమున నేనుయెహోవా ప్రభువా, నీ మహిమను నీ బాహుబలమును నీ దాసునికి కనుపరచ మొదలుపెట్టి యున్నావు.

23. Then sought I Yahweh at that time, for a favour saying:

24. ఆకాశమందే గాని భూమి యందే గాని నీవు చేయు క్రియలను చేయగల దేవు డెవడు? నీవు చూపు పరాక్రమమును చూపగల దేవు డెవడు?

24. My Lord Yahweh, thou thyself, hast begun to shew thy servant thy greatness, and thy firm hand, as to which, what GOD is there, in the heavens or in the earth, that can do according to thy doings, and according to thy mighty deeds?

25. నేను అద్దరికి వెళ్లి యొర్దాను అవతలనున్న యీ మంచి దేశమును మంచి మన్నెమును ఆ లెబానోనును చూచునట్లు దయచేయుమని నేను యెహోవాను బ్రతిమాలుకొనగా

25. Let me pass over, I pray thee that I may see the good land that is over the Jordan, this good mountain, and the Lebanon.

26. యెహోవా మిమ్మును బట్టి నామీద కోప పడి నా మనవి వినకపోయెను. మరియు యెహోవా నాతో ఇట్లనెనుచాలును; ఇకను ఈ సంగతిని గూర్చి నాతో మాటలాడవద్దు.

26. But Yahweh had been provoked with me for your sakes, and hearkened not unto me, and Yahweh said unto me, Enough for thee! do not add a word unto me further in this matter.

27. నీవు ఈ యొర్దానును దాట కూడదు గాని నీవు పిస్గాకొండయెక్కి కన్నులెత్తి పడమటి వైపును ఉత్తరవైపును దక్షిణవైపును తూర్పువైపును తేరి చూడుము.

27. Ascend the top of the Pisgah, and lift up thine eyes westward, and northward and southward and eastward and see with thine own eyes, for thou shalt not pass over this Jordan.

28. యెహోషువకు ఆజ్ఞయిచ్చి అతని ధైర్యపరచి దృఢపరచుము. అతడు ఈ ప్రజలను వెంటబెట్టుకొని నదిదాటి నీవు చూడబోవు దేశమును వారిని స్వాధీన పరచుకొనచేయును.

28. But command thou Joshua and confirm him and embolden him, for, he, shall pass over before this people, and, he shall cause them to inherit the land which thou shalt see.

29. అప్పుడు మనము బేత్పయోరు యెదుటనున్న లోయలో దిగియుంటిమి.

29. So we abode in the valley, over against Beth-peor.
