1. మనము తిరిగి బాషాను మార్గమున వెళ్లినప్పుడు బాషాను రాజైనఓగును అతని ప్రజలందరును ఎద్రెయీలో మనతో యుద్ధము చేయుటకు బయలుదేరి యెదురుగా రాగా

1. And we turned and went by the way leading to Bashan. And Og the king of Bashan came out to meet us, he and all his people, to battle at Edrei.

2. యెహోవా నాతో ఇట్లనెను అతనికి భయ పడకుము, అతనిని అతని సమస్త జనమును అతని దేశమును నీ చేతికి అప్పగించియున్నాను. హెష్బోనులో నివసించిన అమోరీయుల రాజైన సీహోనుకు చేసినట్లు ఇతనికిని చేయవలెనని చెప్పెను.

2. And the Lord said to me, Fear him not, for I have delivered him, and all his people, and all his land, into your hands; and you shall do to him as you did to Sihon king of the Amorites who dwelt in Heshbon.

3. అట్లు మన దేవుడైన యెహోవా బాషాను రాజైన ఓగును అతని సమస్త జనమును మనచేతికి అప్పగించెను; అతనికి శేషమేమియు లేకుండ అతనిని హతము చేసితివిు.

3. And the Lord our God delivered him into our hands, even Og the king of Bashan, and all his people; and we struck him until we left none of his seed.

4. ఆ కాలమున అతని పురములన్నిటిని పట్టుకొంటిమి. వారి పురములలో మనము పట్టుకొనని పురమొకటియు లేదు. బాషానులో ఓగురాజ్యమగు అర్గోబు ప్రదేశమందంతటనున్న అరువది పురములను పట్టుకొంటిమి.

4. And we mastered all his cities at that time; there was not a city which we did not take from them; sixty cities, all the country round about Argob, belonging to King Og in Bashan;

5. ఆ పురములన్నియు గొప్ప ప్రాకార ములు గవునులు గడియలునుగల దుర్గములు. అవియు గాక ప్రాకారములేని పురములనేకములను పట్టు కొంటిమి.

5. all strong cities, lofty walls, gates and bars, besides the very many cities of the Perizzites.

6. మనము హెష్బోను రాజైన సీహోనుకు చేసినట్లు వాటిని నిర్మూలము చేసితివిు; ప్రతి పురములోని స్త్రీ పురుషులను పిల్లలను నిర్మూలము చేసితివిు;

6. We utterly destroyed [them] as we dealt with Sihon the king of Heshbon, so we utterly destroyed every city in order, and the women and children,

7. వారి పశువులనన్నిటిని ఆ పురముల సొమ్మును దోపిడిగా తీసి కొంటిమి.

7. and all the cattle; and we took for a prey to ourselves the spoil of the cities.

8. ఆ కాలమున అర్నోను ఏరు మొదలుకొని హెర్మోను కొండవరకు యొర్దాను అవతలనున్న దేశమును అమోరీయుల యిద్దరు రాజులయొద్దనుండి పట్టుకొంటిమి.

8. And we took at that time the land out of the hands of the two kings of the Amorites, who were beyond the Jordan, [extending] from the brook of Arnon even unto Hermon.

9. సీదోనీయులు హెర్మోనును షిర్యోనని అందురు. అమో రీయులు దానిని శెనీరని అందురు.

9. The Phoenicians call Hermon Sirion, but the Amorite calls it Senir.

10. మైదానమందలి పురములన్నిటిని బాషానునందలి ఓగు రాజ్యపురములైన సల్కా ఎద్రెయీ అనువాటివరకు గిలాదంతటిని బాషా నును పట్టుకొంటిమి.

10. All the cities of Misor, and all Gilead, and all Bashan as far as Salcha and Edrei, cities of the kingdom of Og in Bashan.

11. రెఫాయీయులలో బాషాను రాజైన ఓగు మాత్రము మిగిలెను. అతని మంచము ఇనుప మంచము. అది అమ్మోనీయుల రబ్బాలోనున్నది గదా? దాని పొడుగు మనుష్యుని మూరతో తొమ్మిది మూరలు దాని వెడల్పు నాలుగు మూరలు.

11. For only Og the king of Bashan was left of the Rephaim. Behold, his bed [was] a bed of iron; behold, [it is] in the chief city of the children of Ammon; the length of it [is] nine cubits, and the breadth of it four cubits, according to the cubit of a man.

12. అర్నోను లోయలో నున్న అరోయేరు మొదలుకొని గిలాదు మన్నెములో సగమును, మనము అప్పుడు స్వాధీనపరచుకొనిన దేశ మును, దాని పురములను రూబేనీయులకును గాదీయులకును ఇచ్చితిని.

12. And we inherited that land at that time from Ar, which is by the border of the torrent Arnon, and half the mount of Gilead; and I gave his cities to Reuben and to Gad.

13. ఓగు రాజు దేశమైన బాషాను యావ త్తును గిలాదులో మిగిలిన దానిని, అనగా రెఫాయీయుల దేశమనబడిన బాషాను అంతటిని అర్గోబు ప్రదేశమంత టిని మనష్షే అర్ధ గోత్రమున కిచ్చితిని.

13. And the rest of Gilead, and all Bashan the kingdom of Og I gave to the half-tribe of Manasseh, and all the country round about Argob, all that Bashan; it shall be accounted the land of Rephaim.

14. మనష్షే కుమారు డైన యాయీరు గెషూరీయులయొక్కయు మాయా కాతీయు యొక్కయు సరిహద్దులవరకు అర్గోబు ప్రదేశ మంతటిని పట్టుకొని, తన పేరునుబట్టి వాటికి యాయీరు బాషాను గ్రామములని పేరు పెట్టెను. నేటివరకు ఆ పేర్లు వాటికున్నవి.

14. And Jair the son of Manasseh took all the country round about Argob as far as the borders of Gargasi and Machathi: he called them by his name Bashan Thavoth Jair, until this day.

15. మాకీరీయులకు గిలాదు నిచ్చితిని.

15. And to Machir I gave Gilead.

16. గిలాదు మొదలుకొని అర్నోను లోయ మధ్యవరకును, యబ్బోకు నదివరకును అమ్మోనీయుల పడమటి సరిహద్దు వరకును

16. And to Reuben and to Gad I gave [the land] under Gilead as far as the brook of Arnon, the border between the brook and as far as Jabbok; the brook [is] the border to the children of Ammon.

17. కిన్నెరెతు మొదలుకొని తూర్పుదిక్కున పిస్గా కొండ చరియల దిగువగా, ఉప్పు సముద్రము అనబడివ అరాబా సముద్రమువరకును వ్యాపించియున్న అరాబా ప్రదేశమును, యొర్దాను లోయ మధ్యభూమిని రూబేనీ యులకును గాదీయులకును ఇచ్చితిని.

17. And the Arabah and the Jordan [are] the boundaries of Chinnereth, even to the sea of Arabah, the Salt Sea under Asedoth Pisga eastward.

18. ఆ కాలమందు నేను మిమ్మును చూచిమీరు స్వాధీన పరచుకొనునట్లు మీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా ఈ దేశమును మీకిచ్చెను. మీలో పరాక్రమవంతులందరు యుద్ధసన్న ధ్దులై మీ సహోదరులగు ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల ముందర నది దాటవలెను.

18. And I commanded you at that time, saying, The Lord your God has given you this land by lot: arm yourselves, everyone [that is] powerful, and go before your brethren the children of Israel.

19. అయితే యెహోవా మీకు విశ్రాంతి నిచ్చినట్లు మీ సహోదరులకును, విశ్రాంతినిచ్చువరకు,

19. Only your wives and your children and your livestock (I know that you have much livestock), let them dwell in your cities which I have given you;

20. అనగా మీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా యొర్దాను అద్దరిని వారి కిచ్చుచున్న దేశమును వారును స్వాధీనపరచుకొనువరకు, మీ భార్యలును మీ పిల్లలును మీ మందలును నేను మీ కిచ్చిన పురములలో నివసింప వలెను. తరువాత మీలో ప్రతివాడును నేను మీకిచ్చిన తన తన స్వాస్థ్యమునకు తిరిగి రావలెనని మీకు ఆజ్ఞాపించితిని. మీ మందలు విస్తారములని నాకు తెలియును.

20. until the Lord your God give your brethren rest, as also He has given to you, and they also shall inherit the land, which the Lord our God gives them on the other side of the Jordan; then you shall return, each one to his inheritance which I have given you.

21. ఆ కాలమున నేను యెహోషువతో ఇట్లంటినిమీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా ఈ యిద్దరు రాజులకు చేసినదంతయు నీవు కన్నులార చూచితివి గదా. నీవు వెళ్లుచున్న రాజ్యముల నన్నిటికిని యెహోవా ఆలాగుననే చేయును.

21. And I commanded Joshua at that time, saying, Your eyes have seen all things, which the Lord our God did to these two kings; so shall the Lord our God do to all the kingdoms against which you shall cross over.

22. మీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా మీ పక్షముగా యుద్ధముచేయువాడు గనుక వారికి భయపడవద్దని ఆజ్ఞాపించితిని.

22. You shall not be afraid of them, because the Lord our God Himself shall fight for you.

23. మరియు ఆ కాలమున నేనుయెహోవా ప్రభువా, నీ మహిమను నీ బాహుబలమును నీ దాసునికి కనుపరచ మొదలుపెట్టి యున్నావు.

23. And I pleaded with the Lord at that time, saying,

24. ఆకాశమందే గాని భూమి యందే గాని నీవు చేయు క్రియలను చేయగల దేవు డెవడు? నీవు చూపు పరాక్రమమును చూపగల దేవు డెవడు?

24. Lord God, You have begun to show to Your servant Your strength and Your power, and Your mighty hand and Your outstretched arm: for what God is there in heaven or on earth who will do as You have done, and according to Your might?

25. నేను అద్దరికి వెళ్లి యొర్దాను అవతలనున్న యీ మంచి దేశమును మంచి మన్నెమును ఆ లెబానోనును చూచునట్లు దయచేయుమని నేను యెహోవాను బ్రతిమాలుకొనగా

25. I will therefore go over and see this good land that is beyond the Jordan, this good mountain, and Lebanon.

26. యెహోవా మిమ్మును బట్టి నామీద కోప పడి నా మనవి వినకపోయెను. మరియు యెహోవా నాతో ఇట్లనెనుచాలును; ఇకను ఈ సంగతిని గూర్చి నాతో మాటలాడవద్దు.

26. And the Lord regarded me not because of you, and hearkened not to me; and the Lord said to me, Enough already, do not speak of this matter to Me anymore!

27. నీవు ఈ యొర్దానును దాట కూడదు గాని నీవు పిస్గాకొండయెక్కి కన్నులెత్తి పడమటి వైపును ఉత్తరవైపును దక్షిణవైపును తూర్పువైపును తేరి చూడుము.

27. Go up to the top of the quarried rock, and look with your eyes westward, and northward, and southward, and eastward, and behold [it] with your eyes, for you shall not go over this Jordan.

28. యెహోషువకు ఆజ్ఞయిచ్చి అతని ధైర్యపరచి దృఢపరచుము. అతడు ఈ ప్రజలను వెంటబెట్టుకొని నదిదాటి నీవు చూడబోవు దేశమును వారిని స్వాధీన పరచుకొనచేయును.

28. And command Joshua, and strengthen him, and encourage him; for he shall go before the face of this people, and he shall give them the inheritance of all the land which you have seen.

29. అప్పుడు మనము బేత్పయోరు యెదుటనున్న లోయలో దిగియుంటిమి.

29. And we stayed in the valley near Beth Peor.
