1. ఆకాశమండలమా, చెవినొగ్గుము; నేను మాట లాడుదును భూమండలమా, నా నోటిమాట వినుము.

1. Hear o heaven, what I shall speak and hear o earth the words of my mouth.

2. నా ఉపదేశము వానవలె కురియును నా వాక్యము మంచువలెను లేతగడ్డిమీద పడు చినుకులవలెను పచ్చికమీద కురియు వర్షమువలెను ఉండును.

2. My doctrine drop as doeth the rain, and my speech flow as doeth the dew, as the mizzling upon the herbs, and as the drops upon the grass.

3. For I will call on the name of the LORD: Magnify the might of our God.

4. He is a Rocke and perfect are his deeds, for all his ways are with discretion. God is faithful and without wickedness, both righteous and just is he.

6. Dost thou so reward the LORD? O foolish nation and unwise. Is not he thy father and thine owner? hath he not made thee and ordained thee?

8. When the most highest gave the nations an inheritance, and divided the sons of Adam, he put the borders of the nations, fast by the multitude of the children of Israel.

9. For the LORD's part is his folk, and Israel is the portion of his inheritance.

10. He found him in a desert land, in a void ground and a roaring wilderness. He led him about and gave him understanding, and kept him as the apple of his eye.

11. పక్షిరాజు తన గూడు రేపి తన పిల్లలపైని అల్లాడుచు రెక్కలు చాపుకొని వాటిని పట్టుకొని తన రెక్కల మీద వాటిని మోయునట్లు యెహోవా వానిని నడిపించెను.

11. As an eagle that stirreth up her nest and fluttereth over her young, he stretched out his wings and took him up and bare him on his shoulders.

12. యెహోవా మాత్రము వాని నడిపించెను అన్యులయొక్క దేవుళ్లలో ఏ దేవుడును ఆయనతో కూడ ఉండలేదు.

12. The LORD alone was his guide, and there was no strange god with him.

13. భూమియొక్క ఉన్నతస్థలములమీద వాని నెక్కిం చెను పొలముల పంట వానికి తినిపించెను కొండబండనుండి తేనెను చెకుముకి రాతిబండనుండి నూనెను అతనికి జుఱ్ఱించెను.

13. He set him up upon an high land, and he ate the increase of the fields. And he gave him honey to suck out of the rock, and oil out of the hard stone.

14. ఆవు మజ్జిగను గొఱ్ఱెమేకల పచ్చిపాలను గొఱ్ఱెపిల్లల క్రొవ్వును బాషాను పొట్టేళ్లను మేకలను గోధుమల మెరికెల సారమును నీకిచ్చెను. నీవు త్రాగిన మద్యము ద్రాక్షలరసము.

14. With butter of the kine and milk of the sheep, with fat of the lambs and fat rams and he goats with fat kidneys and with wheat. And of the blood of grapes thou drunkest wine.

15. యెషూరూను క్రొవ్వినవాడై కాలు జాడించెను నీవు క్రొవ్వి బలిసి మందుడవైతివి. వాడు తన్ను పుట్టించిన దేవుని విడిచెను తన రక్షణ శైలమును తృణీకరించెను.

15. And Israel waxed fat and kicked. Thou wast fat, thick and smooth. And he let God go that made him and despised the rock that saved him.

16. వారు అన్యుల దేవతలచేత ఆయనకు రోషము పుట్టిం చిరిహేయకృత్యములచేత ఆయనను కోపింపజేసిరి

16. They angered him with strange gods and with abominations provoked him.

17. వారు దేవత్వములేని దయ్యములకు తామెరుగని దేవతలకు క్రొత్తగా పుట్టిన దేవతలకు తమ పితరులు భయపడని దేవతలకు బలి అర్పించిరి.

17. They offered unto field devils and not to God, and to gods which they knew not and to new gods that came newly up which their fathers feared not.

18. Of the rock that begat thee thou art unmindful and hast forgot God that made thee.

19. యెహోవా దానిని చూచెను. తన కూమారులమీదను కుమార్తెలమీదను క్రోధపడెను వారిని అసహ్యించుకొనెను.

19. And when the LORD saw it, he was angry because of the provoking of his sons and daughters.

20. And he said: I will hide my face from them and will see what their end shall be. For they are a froward generation and children in whom is no faith.

21. They have angered me with that which is no god, and provoked me with their vanities; And I again will anger them with them which are no people, and will provoke them with a foolish nation.

22. For fire is kindled in my wrath, and shall burn unto the bottom of hell. And shall consume the earth with her increase, and set afire the bottoms of the mountains.

23. I will heap mischiefs upon thee and will spend all mine arrows at them.

24. వారు కరవుచేత క్షీణించుదురు మంటచేతను క్రూరమైన హత్యచేతను హరించి పోవు దురు బురదలో ప్రాకు పాముల విషమును మృగముల కోరలను వారిమీదికి రప్పించెదను.

24. Burnt with hunger and consumed with heat and with bitter pestilence. I will also send the teeth of beasts upon them and poison serpents.

25. బయట ఖడ్గమును లోపట భయమును ¸యౌవనులను కన్యకలను శిశువులను నెరిసిన తలవెండ్రు కలుగలవారిని నశింపజేయును.

25. Without forth, the sword shall rob them of their children: and within in the chamber, fear: both young men and young women and the sucklings with the men of gray heads.

26. వారిని దూరమునకు చెదరగొట్టెదను వారి పేరు మనుష్యులలో లేకుండచేసెదననుకొందును వారి విరోధులు నిజము గ్రహింపకుందురేమో

26. I have determined to scatter them thorowout the world, and to make away the remembrance of them from among men.

27. ఇదంతయు యెహోవా చేసినదికాదు మా బలముచేత వారిని గెలిచితివిు అని వారనుకొందు రేమో విరోధి గర్వమునకు భయపడి చెదరగొట్టలేదు.

27. Were it not that I feared the railing of their enemies, lest their adversaries would be proud and say: our high hand hath done all these works and not the LORD.

28. వారు ఆలోచనలేని జనము వారిలో వివేచనలేదు.

28. For it is a nation that hath an unhappy forecast, and hath no understanding in them:

29. వారు జ్ఞానము తెచ్చుకొని దీని తలపోసి తమ కడవరి స్థితి యోచించుట మేలు.

29. I would they were wise and understood this and would consider their latter end.

30. తమ ఆశ్రయదుర్గము వారిని అమ్మివేయనియెడల యెహోవా వారిని అప్పగింపనియెడల ఒక్కడు ఎట్లు వేయిమందిని తరుమును? ఇద్దరు ఎట్లు పదివేలమందిని పారదోలుదురు?

30. How it cometh that one shall chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand of them to flight?: except their rock had sold them, and because the LORD had delivered them.

31. వారి ఆశ్రయదుర్గము మన ఆశ్రయదుర్గమువంటిది కాదు ఇందుకు మన శత్రువులే తీర్పరులు.

31. For our rock is not as their rock, no though our enemies be judge.

32. వారి ద్రాక్షావల్లి సొదొమ ద్రాక్షావల్లి అది గొమొఱ్ఱా పొలములలో పుట్టినది. వారి ద్రాక్షపండ్లు పిచ్చి ద్రాక్షపండ్లు వాటి గెలలు చేదైనవి.

32. But their vines are of the vines of Sodom, and of the fields of Gomorra. Their grapes are grapes of gall, and their clusters be bitter.

33. వారి ద్రాక్షారసము క్రూరసర్పముల విషము నాగుపాముల క్రూరవిషము.

33. Their wine is the poison of dragons, and the cruel gall of asps.

34. ఇది నాయొద్ద మరుగుపడి యుండలేదా? నా నిధులలో ముద్రింపబడి యుండలేదా?

34. Are not such things laid in store with me, and sealed up among my treasures?

35. వారి కాలు జారుకాలమున పగతీర్చుటయు ప్రతిఫలమిచ్చుటయు నావే; వారి ఆపద్దినము సమీపించును వారి గతి త్వరగా వచ్చును.

35. Vengeance is mine and I will reward: their feet shall slide, when the time cometh. For the time of their destruction is at hand, and the time that shall come upon them maketh haste.

36. For the LORD will do justice unto his people, and have compassion on his servants. For it shall be seen that their power shall fail, and at the last they shall be prisoned and forsaken.

37. నిర్బంధింపబడినవాడును స్వతంత్రుడును లేకపోవును యెహోవా చూచును తన సేవకులనుగూర్చి సంతాపపడును.

37. And it shall be said: where are their gods and their rock wherein they trusted?

38. నిజముగా తన ప్రజలకు తీర్పుచేయును. ఆయనవారి నైవేద్యముల క్రొవ్వును తిని వారి పానీ యార్పణమైన ద్రాక్షారసమును త్రాగినవారి దేవత లేమైరి?వారు ఆశ్రయించిన దుర్గములే లేచి మీకు సహాయము చేయవచ్చునువారు మీకు శరణము కానియ్యుడి అని చెప్పును.

38. The fat of whose sacrifices they ate, and drank the wine of their drinkofferings, let them rise up and help you and be your protection.

39. ఇదిగో నేను నేనే దేవుడను నేను తప్ప వేరొక దేవుడు లేడు మృతినొందించువాడను బ్రదికించువాడను నేనే గాయపరచువాడను స్వస్థపరచువాడను నేనే నా చేతిలోనుండి విడిపించువాడెవడును లేడు

39. See now how that I, I am he, and that there is no God but I. I can kill and make alive, and what I have smitten that I can heal: neither is there that can deliver any man out of my hand.

40. For I will lift up my hand to heaven, and will say: I live ever.

41. నన్ను ద్వేషించువారికి ప్రతిఫలమిచ్చెదను రక్తముచేత నా బాణములను మత్తిల్ల చేసెదను.

41. If I whet the lightning of my sword, and mine hand take in hand to do justice, I will shew vengeance on mine enemies and will reward them that hate me.

42. చంపబడినవారి రక్తమును చెరపట్టబడినవారి రక్తమును శత్రువులలో వీరుల తలలను నా ఖడ్గము భక్షించును నేను ఆకాశముతట్టు నా హస్తమెత్తి నా శాశ్వత జీవముతోడని ప్రమాణము చేయుచున్నాను.

42. I will make mine arrows drunken with blood, and my sword shall eat flesh of the blood of the slain and of the captive and of the bare head of the enemy.

43. జనములారా, ఆయన ప్రజలతోకూడ ఆనందించుడి. హతులైన తన సేవకులనుబట్టి ఆయన ప్రతిదండన చేయును తన విరోధులకు ప్రతీకారము చేయును తన దేశము నిమిత్తమును తన ప్రజలనిమిత్తమును ప్రాయశ్చిత్తము చేయును.

43. Rejoice(Praise ye) heathen with his people, for he will avenge the blood of his servants, and will avenge him of his adversaries, and will be merciful unto the land of his people.

44. And Moses went and spake all the words of this song in the ears of the people, both he and Josua the son of Nun.

45. మరియు మోషే యీ మాటలన్నియు ఇశ్రాయేలీయులందరితో చెప్పి చాలించి

45. And when Moses had spoken all these words unto the end to all Israel,

46. మరల వారితో ఇట్లనెనుమీతో సాక్ష్యముగా నేడు నేను పలికిన మాటలన్నిటిని మీ మన స్సులలో పెట్టుకొని, మీ సంతతి వారు ఈ ధర్మశాస్త్ర వాక్యములన్నిటిని అనుసరించి నడుచుకొనవలెనని వారి కాజ్ఞాపింపవలెను.

46. then he said unto them. Set your hearts unto all the words which I testify unto you this day: that ye command them unto your children, to observe and do all the words of this law.

47. ఇది మీకు నిరర్థకమైన మాటకాదు, ఇది మీకు జీవమే. మరియు మీరు స్వాధీనపరచుకొను టకు యొర్దానును దాటబోవుచున్న దేశములో దీనినిబట్టి మీరు దీర్ఘాయుష్మంతులగుదురు.

47. For it is not a vain word unto you: but it is your life, and thorow this word ye shall prolong your days in the land whither ye go over Jordan to conquer it.

48. And the LORD spake unto Moses the self same day saying:

49. అనగా నెబోకొండ యెక్కి నేను ఇశ్రాయేలీయులకు స్వాస్థ్యముగా ఇచ్చుచున్న కనాను దేశమును చూచి

49. get thee up into this mountain Abarim unto mount Nebo, which is in the land of Moab over against Jericho. And behold the land of Canaan which I give unto the children of Israel to possess.

50. నీ సహోదరుడైన అహరోను హోరు కొండమీద మృతిబొంది తన స్వజనుల యొద్దకు చేరినట్లు నీవు ఎక్కబోవుచున్న కొండమీద మృతిబొంది నీ స్వజ నులయొద్దకు చేరుదువు.

50. And die in the mount which thou goest upon, and be gathered unto thy people: As Aaron thy brother died in mount Hor and was gathered unto his people.

51. ఏలయనగా మీరు సీను అరణ్య ములో కాదేషు మెరీబా నీళ్లయొద్ద ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల మధ్యను నన్ను పరిశుద్ధపరచక ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల మధ్యను నామీద తిరుగుబాటు చేసితిరి.

51. For ye trespassed against me among the children of Israel at the waters of strife, at Cades in the wilderness of Zin: because ye sanctified me not among the children of Israel.

52. ఎదురుగా ఆ దేశమును చూచెదవు కాని నేను ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల కిచ్చుచున్న ఆ దేశమున నీవు ప్రవేశింపవు.

52. Thou shalt see the land before thee, but shall not go thither unto the land which I give the children of Israel.
