1. మోషే ఇశ్రాయేలీయులనందరిని పిలిపించి యిట్ల నెనుఇశ్రాయేలీయులారా, నేను మీ వినికిడిలో నేడు చెప్పుచున్న కట్టడలను విధులను విని వాటిని నేర్చుకొని వాటిననుసరించి నడువుడి.

1. And Moyses called all Israel, and sayde vnto them: Heare O Israel the ordinauces and lawes which I speake in your eares this day, that ye may learne them, and fulfill them in deede.

2. మన దేవుడైన యెహోవా హోరేబులో మనతో నిబంధనచేసెను.

2. The Lord our God made a couenaunt with vs in Horeb.

3. యెహోవా మన పితరులతో కాదు, నేడు ఇక్కడ సజీవులమైయున్న మనతోనే యీ నిబంధన చేసెను.

3. The Lorde made not this couenaunt with our fathers, but with vs: euen with vs, which are all here alyue this day.

4. యెహోవా ఆ కొండ మీద అగ్ని మధ్యనుండి ముఖాముఖిగా మీతో మాటలాడగా మీరు ఆ అగ్నికి భయపడి ఆ కొండ యెక్కలేదు.

4. The Lorde talked with you face to face in the mount, out of the middes of the fire:

5. గనుక యెహోవామాట మీకు తెలియ జేయుటకు నేను యెహోవాకును మీకును మధ్యను నిలిచి యుండగా యెహోవా ఈలాగున సెలవిచ్చెను.

5. And I stoode betweene the Lorde and you the same tyme, and shewed you the worde of the Lord: For ye were afrayde at the sight of the fire, and went not vp into the mount, and he sayde:

6. దాసుల గృహమైన ఐగుప్తుదేశములోనుండి నిన్ను రప్పించిన నీ దేవుడనైన యెహోవాను నేనే.

6. I am the Lorde thy God, which brought thee out of the lande of Egypt, from the house of bondage.

7. నేను తప్ప వేరొక దేవుడు నీకుండకూడదు.

7. Thou shalt haue none other Gods in my presence.

8. పైనున్న ఆకాశమందే గాని, క్రిందనున్న భూమి యందే గాని భూమి క్రిందనున్న నీళ్లయందే గాని యుండు దేని పోలికనైన విగ్రహమును చేసికొనకూడదు.

8. Thou shalt make thee no grauen image, or any likenesse of that which is in heauen aboue, and that is in earth beneath, and that is in the waters beneath the earth.

9. వాటికి నమస్కరింపకూడదు; వాటిని పూజింపకూడదు. నీ దేవుడనైన యెహోవాయగు నేను రోషముగల దేవు డను; నన్ను ద్వేషించువారి విషయములో మూడు నాలుగు తరములవరకు తండ్రుల దోషమును కుమారులమీదికి రప్పించుచు

9. Thou shalt neither bowe thy selfe vnto them, nor serue them: for I the Lord thy God, am a ielouse God, visityng the wickednesse of the fathers vpon the children, euen vnto the third and fourth generation among them that hate me:

10. నన్ను ప్రేమించి నా ఆజ్ఞలను గైకొనువారి విషయ ములో వేయితరములవరకు కరుణించువాడనై యున్నాను.

10. And shewe mercie vpon thousandes, among them that loue me, and kepe my commaundementes.

11. నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా నామమును వ్యర్థముగా ఉచ్చరింపకూడదు; యెహోవా తన నామమును వ్యర్థ ముగా ఉచ్చరించువానిని నిర్దోషిగా ఎంచడు.

11. Thou shalt not take the name of the Lorde thy God in vayne: for the Lorde wyll not holde him giltlesse that taketh his name in vayne.

12. నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా నీ కాజ్ఞాపించినట్లు విశ్రాంతి దినమును పరిశుద్ధముగా ఆచరించుము.

12. Kepe the Sabbath day, that thou sanctifie it as the Lorde thy God hath commaunded thee.

13. ఆరుదినములు నీవు కష్టపడి నీ పని అంతయు చేయవలెను.

13. Sixe dayes thou shalt labour, and do all that thou hast to do:

14. ఏడవ దినము నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవాకు విశ్రాంతి దినము. దానిలో నీవైనను నీ కుమారుడైనను నీ కుమార్తెయైనను నీ దాసుడైనను నీ దాసియైనను నీ యెద్దయినను నీ గాడిద యైనను నీ పశువులలో ఏదై నను నీ యిండ్లలోనున్న పర దేశియైనను ఏ పనియు చేయకూడదు. ఎందుకంటే నీవలె నీ దాసుడును నీ దాసియును విశ్రమింపవలెను.

14. But the seuenth day is the Sabbath of the Lorde thy God: thou shalt not do any worke, thou nor thy sonne, nor thy daughter, nor thy man seruaunt, nor thy mayde, nor thine oxe, nor thine asse, nor any of thy cattell, nor the straunger that is within thy gates: that thy man seruaunt, and thy mayde, may rest as well as thou.

15. నీవు ఐగుప్తుదేశమందు దాసుడవైయున్నప్పుడు నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా బాహుబలముచేతను చాచిన చేతిచేతను నిన్ను అక్కడనుండి రప్పించెనని జ్ఞాపకము చేసికొనుము. అందు చేతను విశ్రాంతిదినము ఆచరింపవలెనని నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా నీకు ఆజ్ఞాపించెను.

15. Remember that thou wast a seruaunt in the lande of Egypt, and howe that the Lorde thy God brought thee out thence, through a mightie hande and a stretched out arme: For which cause the Lorde thy God commaunded thee to kepe the Sabbath day.

16. నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా నీ కనుగ్రహించు దేశములో నీవు దీర్ఘాయుష్మంతుడవై నీకు క్షేమమగునట్లు నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా నీ కాజ్ఞాపించినలాగున నీ తండ్రిని నీ తల్లిని సన్మానింపుము.

16. Honour thy father & thy mother, as the Lorde thy God hath commaunded thee: that thy dayes may be prolonged, and that it may go well with thee in the lande which the Lorde thy God geueth thee.

20. నీ పొరుగువానిమీద అబద్ధ సాక్ష్యము పలుకకూడదు.

20. Thou shalt not beare false witnesse agaynst thy neyghbour.

21. నీ పొరుగువాని భార్యను ఆశింపకూడదు; నీ పొరుగు వాని యింటినైనను వాని పొలమునైనను వాని దాసుని నైనను వాని దాసినినైనను వాని యెద్దునైనను వాని గాడిద నైనను నీ పొరుగువానిదగు దేనినైనను ఆశింపకూడదు.

21. Thou shalt not lust after thy neyghbours wyfe, thou shalt not couet thy neyghbours house, his fielde, his seruaunt, or his mayde, his oxe, his asse, or ought that thy neyghbour hath.

22. ఈ మాటలను యెహోవా ఆ పర్వతముమీద అగ్ని మేఘ గాఢాంధకారముల మధ్యనుండి గొప్ప స్వరముతో మీ సమాజమంతటితో చెప్పి, రెండు రాతి పలకలమీద వాటిని వ్రాసి నాకిచ్చెను. ఆయన మరేమియు చెప్పలేదు.

22. These wordes the Lorde spake vnto all your multitude in the mount, out of the middes of the fire, of the cloude, and of the darkenesse, with a great voyce, and added nothyng: and wrote them in two tables of stone, and deliuered them vnto me.

23. మరియు ఆ పర్వతము అగ్నివలన మండుచున్నప్పుడు ఆ చీకటిమధ్యనుండి ఆ స్వరమును విని మీరు, అనగా మీ గోత్రముల ప్రధానులును మీ పెద్దలును నాయొద్దకు వచ్చి

23. And it came to passe, that when ye hearde the voyce out of the middes of the darkenesse (for the mountayne dyd burne with fire) then ye came vnto me, with the captaynes of your tribes, and your elders,

24. మన దేవుడైన యెహోవా తన ఘనతను మహాత్మ్య మును మాకు చూపించెను. అగ్నిమధ్యనుండి ఆయన స్వర మును వింటిమి. దేవుడు నరులతో మాటలాడినను వారు బ్రదుకుదురని నేడు తెలిసికొంటిమి.

24. And ye sayde: Beholde, the Lorde our God hath shewed vs his glorie and his greatnesse, and we haue hearde his voyce out of the middes of the fire: we haue seene this day that God doth talke with man, and he yet lyueth.

25. కాబట్టి మేము చావనేల? ఈ గొప్ప అగ్ని మమ్మును దహించును; మేము మన దేవుడైన యెహోవా స్వరము ఇక వినినయెడల చని పోదుము.

25. Nowe therfore why shoulde we dye? that this great fire shoulde consume vs: If we heare the voyce of the Lord our God any more, we shall dye:

26. మావలె సమస్త శరీరులలో మరి ఎవడు సజీవు డైన దేవుని స్వరము అగ్ని మధ్యనుండి పలుకుట విని బ్రదికెను?

26. For what fleshe hath it ben that euer hearde the voyce of the lyuyng God speakyng out of the middes of the fire (as we haue done) and yet dyd lyue?

27. నీవే సమీపించి మన దేవుడైన యెహోవా చెప్పునది యావత్తు వినుము. అప్పుడు మన దేవుడైన యెహోవా నీతో చెప్పినది యావత్తు నీవే మాతో చెప్పిన యెడల మేము విని దాని గైకొందుమని చెప్పితిరి.

27. Go thou and heare all that the Lorde our God sayth, and tell thou vnto vs all that the Lord our God sayth vnto thee, and we wyll heare it, and do it.

28. మీరు నాతో మాటలాడినప్పుడు యెహోవా మీ మాటలు వినెను. అప్పుడు యెహోవా నాతో ఈలాగు సెల విచ్చెనుఈ జనులు నీతో చెప్పిన మాటలు నేను విని యున్నాను. వారు చెప్పినదంతయు మంచిదే.

28. And the Lorde hearde the voyce of your wordes when ye spake vnto me, and the Lorde sayde vnto me: I haue hearde the voyce of the wordes of this people, which they haue spoken vnto thee: they haue well sayde all that they haue spoken.

29. వారికిని వారి సంతాన మునకును నిత్యమును క్షేమము కలుగునట్లు వారు నాయందు భయభక్తులు కలిగి నా ఆజ్ఞలన్నిటిని అనుసరించు మనస్సు వారికుండిన మేలు.

29. Oh that there were such an heart in them that they woulde feare me, & kepe all my comaundementes alway, that it myght go well with them, and with their childen for euer?

30. మీ గుడా రములలోనికి తిరిగి వెళ్లుడని నీవు వారితో చెప్పుము.

30. Go, and say vnto them, Get you into your tentes agayne:

31. అయితే నీవు ఇక్కడ నాయొద్ద నిలిచియుండుము. నీవు వారికి బోధింపవలసిన ధర్మమంతటిని, అనగా కట్టడలను విధులను నేను నీతో చెప్పెదను.

31. But stande thou here by me, and I wyll tell thee all the comaundementes, ordinaunces, & lawes, which thou shalt teache them, that they may do them in the lande which I geue the to possesse.

32. వారు స్వాధీనపరచు కొనునట్లు నేను వారి కిచ్చుచున్న దేశ మందు వారు ఆలాగు ప్రవర్తింపవలెను.

32. Take heede therfore that ye do in deede as the Lord your God hath commaunded you, and turne not aside, either to the right hande, or to the left:

33. కాబట్టి మీరు కుడికే గాని యెడమకే గాని తిరుగక మీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా ఆజ్ఞా పించినట్లు చేయుటకు జాగ్రత్తపడవ లెను. మీరు స్వాధీన పరచుకొనబోవు దేశములో మీరు జీవించుచు మేలుకలిగి దీర్ఘాయుష్మంతులగునట్లు మీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా మీకు ఆజ్ఞాపించిన మార్గము లన్నిటిలో నడుచుకొనవలెను.

33. But walke in all the wayes which the Lorde your God hath comaunded you, that ye may lyue, and that it may go well with you, and that ye may prolong your dayes in the lande which ye shall possesse.
