1. నీవు స్వాధీనపరచుకొనబోవు దేశములోనికి నీ దేవు డైన యెహోవా నిన్ను చేర్చి బహు జనములను, అనగా సంఖ్యకును బలమునకును నిన్ను మించిన హిత్తీయులు గిర్గాషీయులు అమోరీయులు కనానీయులు పెరిజ్జీయులు హివ్వీయులు యెబూసీయులను ఏడు జనములను నీ యెదుటనుండి వెళ్లగొట్టిన తరువాత

1. When the Lord thy God shall bring thee into the land whither thou goest to possesse it, and shall roote out many nations before thee: the Hittites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, and the Hiuites, and the Iebusites, seuen nations greater and mightier then thou,

2. నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా వారిని నీకప్ప గించునప్పుడు నీవు వారిని హతము చేయవలెను, వారిని నిర్మూలము చేయవలెను. వారితో నిబంధన చేసికొనకూడదు, వారిని కరుణింప కూడదు,

2. And the Lord thy God shall giue them before thee, then thou shalt smite them: thou shalt vtterly destroy them: thou shalt make no couenant with them, nor haue compassion on them,

3. నీవు వారితో వియ్యమందకూడదు, వాని కుమారునికి నీ కుమార్తె నియ్యకూడదు, నీ కుమారునికి వాని కుమార్తెను పుచ్చుకొనకూడదు.

3. Neither shalt thou make marriages with them, neither giue thy daughter vnto his sonne, nor take his daughter vnto thy sonne.

4. నన్ను అనుసరింప కుండ ఇతర దేవతలను పూజించునట్లు నీ కుమారుని వారు మళ్లించుదురు, అందునుబట్టి యెహోవా కోపాగ్ని నీమీద రగులుకొని ఆయన నిన్ను త్వరగా నశింపజేయును.

4. For they wil cause thy sonne to turne away from me, and to serue other gods: then will the wrath of the Lord waxe hote against you and destroy thee suddenly.

5. కావున మీరు వారికి చేయవలసినదేమనగా, వారి బలిపీఠ ములను పడద్రోసి వారి విగ్రహములను పగులగొట్టి వారి దేవతాస్తంభములను నరికివేసి వారి ప్రతిమలను అగ్నితో కాల్చవలెను.

5. But thus ye shall deale with them, Ye shall ouerthrowe their altars, and breake downe their pillars, and ye shall cut downe their groues, and burne their grauen images with fire.

6. నీవు నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవాకు ప్రతిష్ఠిత జనము, నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా భూమిమీదనున్న సమస్త జనములకంటె నిన్ను ఎక్కువగా ఎంచి, నిన్ను తనకు స్వకీయజనముగా ఏర్పరచుకొనెను.

6. For thou art an holy people vnto the Lord thy God, the Lord thy God hath chosen thee, to be a precious people vnto himselfe, aboue all people that are vpon the earth.

7. మీరు సర్వజనముల కంటె విస్తారజనమని యెహోవా మిమ్మును ప్రేమించి మిమ్మును ఏర్పరచు కొనలేదు. సమస్త జనములకంటె మీరు లెక్కకు తక్కు వేగదా.

7. The Lord did not set his loue vpon you, nor chose you, because ye were more in number then any people: for ye were the fewest of all people:

8. అయితే యెహోవా మిమ్మును ప్రేమించు వాడు గనుకను, తాను మీ తండ్రులకు చేసిన ప్రమాణమును నెరవేర్చువాడు గనుకను, యెహోవా బాహుబలముచేత మిమ్మును రప్పించి దాసుల గృహములో నుండియు ఐగుప్తురాజైన ఫరో చేతిలోనుండియు మిమ్మును విడిపించెను.

8. But because the Lord loued you, and because hee would keepe the othe which hee had sworne vnto your fathers, the Lord hath brought you out by a mightie hand, and deliuered you out of the house of bondage from the hand of Pharaoh King of Egypt,

9. కాబట్టి నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా తానే దేవుడనియు, తన్ను ప్రేమించి తన ఆజ్ఞల ననుసరించి నడుచుకొనువారికి తన నిబంధనను స్థిరపరచువాడును వేయితరములవరకు కృపచూపువాడును నమ్మతగిన దేవుడు ననియు, తన్ను ద్వేషించువారిలో ప్రతివానిని బహిరంగ ముగా నశింపచేయుటకు వానికి దండన విధించువాడనియు నీవు తెలిసికొనవలెను.

9. That thou mayest knowe, that the Lord thy God, he is God, the faithfull God which keepeth couenant and mercie vnto them that loue him and keepe his commandements, euen to a thousand generations,

10. ఆయన తన్ను ద్వేషించువాని విషయము ఆలస్యము చేయక బహిరంగముగా వానికి దండన విధించును

10. And rewardeth them to their face that hate him, to bring them to destruction: he wil not deferre to reward him that hateth him, to his face.

11. కాబట్టి నేడు నేను నీకాజ్ఞాపించు ధర్మము, అనగా విధులను కట్టడలను మీరనుసరించి నడుచు కొనవలెను.

11. Keepe thou therefore the commandements, and the ordinances, and the lawes, which I commaund thee this day to doe them.

12. మీరు ఈ విధులను విని వాటిని అనుసరించి నడుచు కొనినయెడల నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా తాను నీ పితరులతో ప్రమాణముచేసిన నిబంధనను నెరవేర్చి నీకు కృపచూపును

12. For if ye hearken vnto these lawes, and obserue and doe them, then the Lord thy God shall keepe with thee the couenant, and the mercie which he sware vnto thy fathers.

13. ఆయన నిన్ను ప్రేమించి ఆశీర్వదించి అభి వృద్ధిచేసి, నీకిచ్చెదనని నీ పితరులతో ప్రమాణముచేసిన దేశములో నీ గర్భఫలమును, నీ భూఫలమైన నీ సస్యమును, నీ ద్రాక్షారసమును, నీ నూనెను, నీ పశువుల మందలను, నీ గొఱ్ఱెల మందలను, మేకల మందలను దీవించును.

13. And he wil loue thee, and blesse thee, and multiplie thee: he will also blesse the fruite of thy wombe, and the fruite of thy land, thy corne and thy wine, and thine oyle and the increase of thy kine, and the flockes of thy sheepe in the land, which he sware vnto thy fathers to giue thee.

14. సమస్త జనములకంటె ఎక్కువగా నీవు ఆశీర్వదింప బడుదువు. నీలో మగవానికేగాని ఆడు దానికేగాని గొడ్డుతనముండదు, నీ పశువులలోనైననుండదు.

14. Thou shalt be blessed aboue all people: there shall be neither male nor female barren among you, nor among your cattell.

15. యెహోవా నీయొద్దనుండి సర్వరోగములను తొలగించి, నీవెరిగియున్న ఐగుప్తు లోని కఠినమైన క్షయ వ్యాధులన్నిటిని నీకు దూరపరచి, నిన్ను ద్వేషించు వారందరిమీదికే వాటిని పంపించును.

15. Moreouer, the Lord will take away from thee all infirmities, and will put none of the euill diseases of Egypt (which thou knowest) vpon thee, but wil send them vpon all that hate thee.

16. మరియు నీ దేవు డైన యెహోవా నీ కప్పగించుచున్న సమస్త ప్రజలను నీవు బొత్తిగా నాశనముచేయుదువు. నీవు వారిని కటా క్షింపకూడదు, వారి దేవతలను పూజింపకూడదు, ఏలయనగా అది నీకు ఉరియగును.

16. Thou shalt therefore consume all people which the Lord thy God shall giue thee: thine eye shall not spare them, neither shalt thou serue their gods, for that shalbe thy destruction.

17. ఈ జనములు నాకంటె విస్తారముగా ఉన్నారు, నేను ఎట్లు వారిని వెళ్లగొట్టగల నని నీవనుకొందువేమో, వారికి భయపడకుము.

17. If thou say in thine heart, These nations are moe then I, how can I cast them out?

18. నీ దేవు డైన యెహోవా ఫరోకును ఐగుప్తుదేశమంతటికిని చేసిన దానిని, అనగా నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా నిన్ను రప్పించి నప్పుడు

18. Thou shalt not feare them, but remember what the Lord thy God did vnto Pharaoh, and vnto all Egypt:

19. నీ కన్నులు చూచిన ఆ గొప్ప శోధనలను సూచక క్రియలను మహత్కార్యములను బాహుబలమును, చాచిన చేతిని బాగుగ జ్ఞాపకము చేసికొనుము. నీకు భయము పుట్టించుచున్న ఆ జనులకందరికి నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా ఆలాగే చేయును.

19. The great tentations which thine eyes sawe, and the signes and wonders, and the mighty hand and stretched out arme, whereby the Lord thy God brought thee out: so shall the Lord thy God do vnto all ye people, whose face thou fearest.

20. మరియు మిగిలినవారును నీ కంటబడక దాగిన వారును నశించువరకు నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా వారి మీదికి పెద్ద కందిరీగలను పంపును.

20. Moreouer, the Lord thy God will send hornets among them vntil they that are left, and hide themselues from thee, be destroyed.

21. వారిని చూచి జడియవద్దు; నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా నీ మధ్యనున్నాడు, ఆయన భయంకరుడైన మహా దేవుడు.

21. Thou shalt not feare them: for the Lord thy God is among you, a God mightie and dreadful.

22. నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా నీ యెదుటనుండి క్రమక్రమ ముగా ఈ జనములను తొలగించును. అడవి మృగములు విస్తరించి నీకు బాధకములుగా నుండవచ్చును గనుక వారిని ఒక్కమారే నీవు నాశనము చేయతగదు, అది నీకు క్షేమకరముకాదు.

22. And the Lord thy God wil roote out these nations before thee by little and little: thou mayest not consume them at once, least the beasts of the fielde increase vpon thee.

23. అయితే నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా వారిని నీకప్పగించి వారిని నశింపజేయువరకు వారిని బహుగా తల్లడిల్ల చేయును.

23. But the Lord thy God shall giue them before thee, and shall destroy them with a mightie destruction, vntill they be brought to naught.

24. ఆయన వారి రాజులను నీ చేతికప్ప గించును. నీవు ఆకాశముక్రిందనుండి వారి నామమును నశింపజేయవలెను; నీవు వారిని నశింపజేయువరకు ఏ మను ష్యుడును నీ యెదుట నిలువలేకపోవును.

24. And he shall deliuer their Kings into thine hand, and thou shalt destroy their name from vnder heauen: there shall no man be able to stand before thee, vntill thou hast destroyed them.

25. వారి దేవతల ప్రతిమలను మీరు అగ్నిచేత కాల్చివేయవలెను; వాటి మీదనున్న వెండిబంగారములను అపేక్షిం పకూడదు. నీవు దానివలన చిక్కుబడుదువేమో గనుక దానిని తీసికొన కూడదు. ఏలయనగా అది నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవాకు హేయము.

25. The grauen images of their gods shall ye burne with fire, and couet not the siluer and golde, that is on them, nor take it vnto thee, least thou be snared therewith: for it is an abomination before the Lord thy God.

26. దానివలె నీవు శాపగ్రస్తుడవు కాకుండునట్లు నీవు హేయమైన దాని నీయింటికి తేకూడదు. అది శాపగ్రస్తమే గనుక దాని పూర్తిగా రోసి దానియందు బొత్తిగా అసహ్యపడవలెను.

26. Bring not therefore abomination into thine house, lest, thou be accursed like it, but vtterly abhorre it, and count it most abominable: for it is accursed.
