1. మీరు బ్రదికి అభివృద్ధినొంది యెహోవా మీ పితరు లతో ప్రమాణముచేసిన దేశమునకు పోయి దాని స్వాధీన పరచుకొనునట్లు నేడు నేను నీ కాజ్ఞాపించిన ఆజ్ఞలన్నిటిని అనుసరించి నడుచుకొనవలెను.

1. Ye shall keepe all the commandements which I command thee this day, for to doe them: that ye may liue, and be multiplied, and goe in, and possesse the land which the Lord sware vnto your fathers.

2. మరియు నీవు ఆయన ఆజ్ఞలను గైకొందువో లేదో నిన్ను శోధించి నీ హృదయ ములో నున్నది తెలుసుకొనుటకు నిన్ను అణచు నిమిత్త మును అరణ్యములో ఈ నలువది సంవత్సరములు నీ దేవు డైన యెహోవా నిన్ను నడిపించిన మార్గమంతటిని జ్ఞాప కము చేసికొనుము.

2. And thou shalt remember all ye way which the Lord thy God led thee this fourtie yeere in the wildernesse, for to humble thee and to proue thee, to knowe what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keepe his commandements or no.

3. ఆహారమువలననే గాక యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చిన ప్రతి మాటవలన నరులు బ్రదుకుదురని నీకు తెలియజేయుటకు ఆయన నిన్ను అణచి నీకు ఆకలి కలుగజేసి, నీవేగాని నీ పితరులేగాని యెన్నడెరుగని మన్నాతో నిన్ను పోషించెను.

3. Therefore he humbled thee, and made thee hungry, and fed thee with MAN, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know it, that he might teache thee that man liueth not by bread onely, but by euery worde that proceedeth out of the mouth of the Lord, doth a man liue.

4. ఈ నలువది సంవత్సరములు నీవు వేసికొనిన బట్టలు పాతగిలలేదు, నీ కాలు వాయలేదు.

4. Thy raiment waxed not olde vpon thee, neither did thy foote swell those fourtie yeeres.

5. ఒకడు తన కుమారుని ఎట్లు శిక్షించెనో అట్లే నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా నిన్ను శిక్షించువాడని నీవు తెలిసికొని

5. Knowe therefore in thine heart, that as a man nourtereth his sonne, so the Lord thy God nourtereth thee.

6. ఆయన మార్గములలో నడుచుకొనునట్లును ఆయనకు భయ పడునట్లును నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా ఆజ్ఞలను గైకొన వలెను.

6. Therefore shalt thou keepe the commandements of the Lord thy God, that thou mayest walke in his wayes, and feare him.

7. నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా నిన్ను మంచి దేశములో ప్రవేశపెట్టును. అది నీటి వాగులును, లోయలలో నుండియు కొండలలో నుండియు పారు ఊటలును అగాధ జలములును గల దేశము.

7. For the Lord thy God bringeth thee into a good land, a land in the which are riuers of water and fountaines, and depthes that spring out of valleis and mountaines:

8. అది గోధుమలు యవలు ద్రాక్షచెట్లు అంజూరపుచెట్లు దానిమ్మపండ్లును గల దేశము, ఒలీవ నూనెయు తేనెయు గల దేశము.

8. A land of wheate and barley, and of vineyards, and figtrees, and pomegranates: a land of oyle oliue and hony:

9. కరవు అనుకొనకుండ నీవు ఆహారము తిను దేశము; అందులో నీకు ఏ లోపముండదు. అది యినుపరాళ్లు గల దేశము; దాని కొండలలో నీవు రాగి త్రవ్వి తీయవచ్చును.

9. A land wherein thou shalt eate bread without scarcitie, neither shalt thou lacke any thing therein: a land whose stones are yron, and out of whose mountaines thou shalt digge brasse.

10. నీవు తిని తృప్తిపొంది నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా నీకిచ్చిన మంచి దేశమునుబట్టి ఆయనను స్తుతింపవలెను.

10. And when thou hast eaten and filled thy selfe, thou shalt blesse the Lord thy God for the good land, which he hath giuen thee.

11. నేడు నేను నీకాజ్ఞాపించు ఆయన ఆజ్ఞలను విధులను కట్టడలను నీవు అనుసరింపక నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవాను మరచి కడుపారతిని

11. Beware that thou forget not the Lord thy God, not keeping his commandements, and his lawes, and his ordinances, which I commaund thee this day:

12. మంచి యిండ్లు కట్టించుకొని వాటిలో నివసింపగా,

12. Lest when thou hast eaten and filled thy selfe, and hast built goodly houses and dwelt therein,

13. నీ పశువులు నీ గొఱ్ఱె మేకలును వృద్ధియై నీకు వెండి బంగారములు విస్తరించి నీకు కలిగినదంతయు వర్థిల్లినప్పుడు

13. And thy beastes, and thy sheepe are increased, and thy siluer and golde is multiplied, and all that thou hast is increased,

14. నీ మనస్సు మదించి, దాసులగృహమైన ఐగుప్తుదేశములో నుండి నిన్ను రప్పించిన నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవాను మర చెదవేమో.

14. Then thine heart be lifted vp and thou forget the Lord thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage,

15. తాపకరమైన పాములును తేళ్లును కలిగి యెడారియై నీళ్లులేని భయంకరమైన ఆ గొప్ప అరణ్య ములో ఆయన నిన్ను నడిపించెను, రాతిబండనుండి నీకు నీళ్లు తెప్పించెను,

15. Who was thy guide in the great and terrible wildernes (wherein were fierie serpents, and scorpions, and drought, where was no water, who brought forth water for thee out of ye rock of flint:

16. తుదకు నీకు మేలు చేయవలెనని నిన్ను అణుచుటకును శోధించుటకును నీ పితరులు ఎరుగని మన్నాతో అరణ్యమున నిన్ను పోషించెను.

16. Who fed thee in the wildernesse with MAN, which thy fathers knewe not) to humble thee, and and to proue thee, that he might doe thee good at thy latter ende.

17. అయితే మీరుమా సామర్థ్యము మా బాహుబలము ఇంత భాగ్యము మాకు కలుగజేసెనని అనుకొందురేమో.

17. Beware least thou say in thine heart, My power, and the strength of mine owne hand hath prepared me this abundance.

18. కాగా నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవాను జ్ఞాపకము చేసికొన వలెను. ఏలయనగా తాను నీ పితరులతో ప్రమాణము చేసినట్లు తన నిబంధనను నేటివలె స్థాపింపవలెనని మీరు భాగ్యము సంపాదించుకొనుటకై మీకు సామర్థ్యము కలుగజేయువాడు ఆయనే.

18. But remember the Lord thy God: for it is he which giueth thee power to get substance to establish his couenant which he sware vnto thy fathers, as appeareth this day.

19. నీవు ఏమాత్రమైనను నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవాను మరచి యితరదేవతల ననుసరించి పూజించి నమస్కరించిన యెడల మీరు నిశ్చయముగా నశించిపోదురని నేడు మిమ్మునుగూర్చి నేను సాక్ష్యము పలికియున్నాను.

19. And if thou forget the Lord thy God, and walke after other gods, and serue them, and worship them, I testifie vnto you this day that ye shall surely perish.

20. నీ యెదుటనుండకుండ యెహోవా నశింపజేయుచున్న జనములు వినకపోయినట్టు మీ దేవు డైన యెహోవా మాట మీరు వినకపోయినయెడల మీరును వారివలెనే నశించెదరు.

20. As the nations which the Lord destroyeth before you, so ye shall perish, because ye woulde not be obedient vnto the voyce of the Lord your God.
