1. ఇశ్రాయేలూ వినుము; నీకంటె గొప్ప బలముగల జనములను ఆకాశమంటు ప్రాకారములు గల గొప్ప పట్టణములను స్వాధీనపరచుకొనుటకై నేడు నీవు యొర్దా నును దాటబోవుచున్నావు.

1. Heare O Israel, This daie shalt thou go ouer Iordane, that thou maiest come in to conquere the nacions, which are greater and mightier then thou, greate cities, walled vp vnto heauen,

2. ఆ ప్రజలు గొప్పవారు ఉన్నత దేహులు, వారు నీవు ఎరిగిన అనాకీయుల వంశ స్థులు. అనాకీయుల యెదుట ఎవరు నిలువగలరు అను మాట నీవు వింటివి గదా.

2. a greate people and of an hye stature, namely the childre of Enakim, whom thou hast knowne, and of whom thou hast herde saye: Who is able to stonde agaynst the children of Enakim?

3. కాబట్టి నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా తానే దహించు అగ్నివలె నీ ముందర దాటి పోవుచున్నాడని నేడు నీవు తెలిసికొ నుము. ఆయన వారిని నశింపజేసి నీ యెదుట వారిని కూలద్రోయును. యెహోవా నీతో చెప్పినట్లు నీవు వారిని వెళ్లగొట్టి వేగమే వారిని నశింపజేసెదవు.

3. Therfore shalt thou knowe this daye, that the LORDE yi God goeth before the, a cosumynge fyre. He shal destroye the, and shall subdue them before the, and shal driue them out, & shortly shall he brynge the to naught, as the LORDE hath promysed the.

4. నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా నీ యెదుటనుండి వారిని తోలి వేసినతరువాతనేను ఈ దేశమును స్వాధీన పరచుకొనునట్లుగా యెహోవా నా నీతినిబట్టి నన్ను ప్రవేశ పెట్టెనని అనుకొనవద్దు. ఈ జనముల చెడుతనమునుబట్టియే యెహోవా నీ యెదుట నుండి వారిని వెళ్లగొట్టుచున్నాడు.

4. Now whan the LORDE thy God hath expelled them out before the, saye not thou the in thine hert: The LORDE hath brought me in to take possession of this lande for myne awne righteousnes sake, where as ye LORDE yet dryueth out the Heithen before the, because of their vngodlynes.

5. నీవు వారి దేశ మునకు వచ్చి దాని స్వాధీనపరచుకొనుటకు నీ నీతియైనను నీ హృదయ యథార్థతయైనను హేతువుకాదు. ఈ జన ముల చెడుతనమును బట్టియే యెహోవా నీ పితరులైన అబ్రాహాము ఇస్సాకు యాకోబులతో ప్రమాణముచేసిన మాటను స్థాపించుటకై నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా వారిని నీ యెదుటనుండి వెళ్లగొట్టుచున్నాడు.

5. For thou commest not in to take their londe in possession, for thine awne righteousnes sake, and because of thy right hert: but the LORDE dryueth out these Heythen, for their awne vngodlynesse sake, and that he maye perfourme the worde, which the LORDE hath sworne vnto yi fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Iacob.

6. మీరు లోబడ నొల్లనివారు గనుక ఈ మంచి దేశమును స్వాధీనపరచు కొనునట్లు నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా నీ నీతినిబట్టి నీకియ్యడని నీవు తెలిసికొనవలెను.

6. Vnderstonde now therfore, that the LORDE yi God geueth not the this londe to possesse it, for thine awne righteousnes sake. For thou art a styffnecked people.

7. అరణ్యములో నీవు నీ దేవు డైన యెహోవాకు కోపము పుట్టించిన సంగతిని జ్ఞాప కము చేసికొనుము, దాని మరువవద్దు. నీవు ఐగుప్తుదేశ ములోనుండి బయలుదేరిన దినము మొదలుకొని యీ స్థలమందు మీరు ప్రవేశించువరకు మీరు యెహోవా మీద తిరుగుబాటు చేయుచునే వచ్చితిరి.

7. Remembre and forget not, how thou displeasedest the LORDE thy God in the wildernesse. Sence ye daye that thou departedst out of the londe of Egipte, tyll ye came vnto this place, haue ye bene dishobedient vnto the LORDE.

8. హోరే బులో మీరు యెహోవాకు కోపము పుట్టించినప్పుడు యెహోవా మిమ్ము నశింపజేయునంత కోపము మీ మీద తెచ్చుకొనెను.

8. For in Horeb ye angred the LORDE, so that of wrath he wolde haue destroyed you,

9. ఆ రాతిపలకలు, అనగా యెహోవా మీతో చేసిన నిబంధనసంబంధ మైన పలకలను తీసికొను టకు నేను కొండెక్కినప్పుడు, అన్నపానములు మాని ఆ కొండమీద నలువది పగళ్లు నలువది రాత్రులుంటిని.

9. whan I was gone vp to ye mount, to receaue the tables of stone, namely the tables of the couenaunt which the LORDE made wt you, and I abode fortye dayes & fortye nightes vpon the mount, and ate no bred, & dranke no water:

10. అప్పుడు దేవుని వ్రేలితో వ్రాయబడిన రెండు రాతి పలకలను యెహోవా నాకప్పగించెను. మీరు కూడివచ్చిన దినమున ఆ కొండమీద అగ్ని మధ్యనుండి యెహోవా మీతో పలికిన వాక్యములన్నియు వాటిమీద ఉండెను.

10. and the LORDE gaue me ye two tables of stone, wrytten with the fynger of God, and in them was acordinge to all the wordes, which the LORDE sayde vnto you vpon the mount out of the fyre, in the daye of the gatheringe together.

11. ఆ నలువది పగళ్లు నలువది రాత్రులు గడచినప్పుడు యెహోవా నిబంధన సంబంధమైన పలకలైన ఆ రెండు రాతిపలకలను నాకప్పగించి

11. And after the fortye dayes and fortye nightes, ye LORDE gaue me ye two tables of stone, namely ye tables of the couenaunt,

12. నీవు లేచి యిక్కడ నుండి త్వరగా దిగుము; నీవు ఐగుప్తులోనుండి రప్పించిన నీ జనము చెడిపోయి, నేను వారి కాజ్ఞాపించిన త్రోవలో నుండి త్వరగా తొలగి తమకు పోతబొమ్మను చేసికొనిరని నాతో చెప్పెను.

12. and sayde vnto me: vp, & get ye downe quyckly from hence, for thy people whom thou broughtest out of Egipte, haue marred the selues, they are soone gone out of the waye, which I commaunded them, and haue made them a molten ymage.

13. మరియు యెహోవానేను ఈ ప్రజలను చూచితిని; ఇదిగో వారు లోబడనొల్లని ప్రజలు.

13. And the LORDE saide vnto me: I se this people, that it is a styffnecked people:

14. నాకు అడ్డము రాకుము, నేను వారిని నశింపజేసి వారి నామమును ఆకాశము క్రింద నుండకుండ తుడుపుపెట్టి, నిన్ను వారికంటె బలముగల బహు జనముగా చేసెదనని నాతో చెప్పగా.

14. let me alone, that I maye destroye them, and put out their name from vnder heaue. I wyl make of the a people mightier and greater the this is.

15. నేను తిరిగి ఆ కొండ దిగి వచ్చితిని. కొండ అగ్నిచేత కాలుచుండెను, ఆ రెండు నిబంధన పలకలు నా రెండు చేతులలో ఉండెను.

15. And as I turned me, & wente downe fro the mount which brent wt fyre, & had ye two tables of the couenaunt in both my hades,

16. నేను చూచి నప్పుడు మీరు మీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా దృష్టికి పాపము చేసియుంటిరి. పోతదూడను చేయించుకొని యెహోవా మీకాజ్ఞాపించిన త్రోవనుండి త్వరగా తొలగిపోయి యుంటిరి.

16. I loked, & beholde, ye had synned agaynst ye LORDE yor God, so yt ye had made you a molten calfe, & were soone turned out of ye waie which the LORDE had commaunded you.

17. అప్పుడు నేను ఆ రెండు పలకలను పట్టు కొని, నా రెండు చేతులలోనుండి మీకన్నుల యెదుట వాటిని క్రిందపడవేసి పగులగొట్టి

17. Then toke I the two tables, & cast them out of both my handes, & brake the before youre eyes,

18. మీరు యెహోవా దృష్టికి ఆ చెడునడత నడిచి చేసిన మీ సమస్త పాపముల వలన ఆయనకు కోపము పుట్టింపగా చూచి, మునుపటివలె అన్నపానములు మాని నలువది పగళ్లు నలువది రాత్రులు నేను యెహోవా సన్నిధిని సాగిలపడితిని.

18. & I fell before the LORDE (euen as at the first tyme) fortye dayes & fortye nightes, & nether ate bred, ner drake water, because of all youre synnes which ye had synned, whan ye dyd soch euell in the sighte of the LORDE, to prouoke him vnto wrath.

19. ఏలయనగా మిమ్ము నశింపజేయవలెనని కోపపడిన యెహోవా కోపో ద్రేకమును చూచి భయపడితిని. ఆ కాలమందును యెహోవా నా మనవి ఆలకించెను.

19. For I was afrayed of the wrath and indignacion, wherwith the LORDE was angrie wt you, euen to haue destroyed you. And the LORDE herde me at that tyme also.

20. మరియు యెహోవా అహరోనును నశింపజేయుటకు అతనిమీద బహుగా కోప పడగా నేను అహరోనుకై అప్పుడే బ్రతిమాలు కొంటిని

20. Morouer the LORDE was very angrie wt Aaron, so that he wolde haue destroyed him, but I made intercession for Aaron also at ye same tyme.

21. అప్పుడు మీరు చేసిన పాపమును, అనగా ఆ దూడను నేను పట్టుకొని అగ్నితో దాని కాల్చి, నలుగగొట్టి, అది ధూళియగునంత మెత్తగా నూరి, ఆ కొండనుండి పారు ఏటిలో ఆ ధూళిని పారపోసితిని.

21. As for youre synne (namely, the calfe that ye had made) I toke it, and burnt it with the fyre, and smote it a sunder, & grynde it in peces, euen vnto dust, and cast the dust in to the broke that descended from the mount.

22. మరియు మీరు తబేరాలోను మస్సాలోను కిబ్రోతుహత్తావాలోను యెహోవాకు కోపము పుట్టించితిరి.

22. Ye displeased the LORDE also, at Tabera, and at Massa, and at the lustgraues,

23. యెహోవా మీరు వెళ్లి నేను మీకిచ్చిన దేశమును స్వాధీనపరచుకొను డని చెప్పి కాదేషు బర్నేయలోనుండి మిమ్ము పంపినప్పుడు మీరు మీ దేవుడైన యెహోవాను నమ్ముకొనక ఆయన నోటి మాటకు తిరుగబడితిరి, ఆయన మాటను వినలేదు.

23. and wha he sent you from Cades Barnea, and sayde: Go vp, and conquere the londe which I haue geuen you. And ye were disobedient vnto the mouth of the LORDE youre God, and beleued not on him, and herkened not vnto his voyce:

24. నేను మిమ్మును ఎరిగిన దినము మొదలుకొని మీరు యెహోవామీద తిరుగుబాటు చేయుచున్నారు.

24. for ye haue bene disobediet vnto the LORDE, as longe as I haue knowne you.

25. కాగా నేను మునుపు సాగిలపడినట్లు యెహోవా సన్నిధిని నలు వది పగళ్లు నలువది రాత్రులు సాగిలపడితిని. యెహోవామిమ్మును నశింపజేసెదననగా

25. The fell I before ye LORDE fortye daies and fortye nightes, which I laye there. For ye LORDE sayde, he wolde destroye you.

26. నేను యెహోవాను ప్రార్థించుచు ఈలాగు చెప్పితినిప్రభువా యెహోవా, నీవు నీ మహిమవలన విమోచించి బాహుబలమువలన ఐగుప్తులోనుండి రప్పించిన నీ స్వాస్థ్యమైన జనమును నశింపజేయకుము.

26. But I made intercession vnto the LORDE, and sayde: O LORDE LORDE, destroye not yi people and thine enheritaunce, which thou thorow thy greate power hast delyuered, and broughte out of Egipte with a mightie hade.

27. నీ సేవకులైన అబ్రాహాము ఇస్సాకు యాకోబులను జ్ఞాపకముచేసికొనుము. ఈ ప్రజల కాఠిన్య మునైనను వారి చెడుతనమునైనను వారి పాపమునైనను చూడకుము;

27. Remembre thy seruauntes Abraham, Isaac and Iacob. Loke not vpon the stubburnesse, and vngodlynesse and synne of this people

28. ఏలయనగా నీవు ఏ దేశములోనుండి మమ్మును రప్పించితివో ఆ దేశస్థులుయెహోవా తాను వారితో చెప్పిన దేశములోనికి వారిని చేర్చలేకపోవుట వలనను, వారిని ద్వేషించుటవలనను, అరణ్యములో వారిని చంపుటకు వారిని రప్పించెనని చెప్పుకొందురేమో.

28. (that the londe wherout thou hast broughte vs, saye not: The LORDE was not able to bringe them in to the lande, that he promysed them, and because he hated them, therfore hath he broughte them out, to destroye the in the wyldernesse:)

29. నీవు నీ అధికబలముచేతను నీవు చాపిన నీ బాహువుచేతను రప్పించిన నీ స్వాస్థ్యమును నీ ప్రజలును వీరే.

29. For they are thy people & thine enheritaunce, which thou hast broughte out wt thy greate power, and with thy stretched out arme.
