1. ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు కనానుదేశమున పొందిన స్వాస్థ్య ములు ఇవి.
అపో. కార్యములు 13:19

1. And these [are] those of the children of Israel that received their inheritance in the land of Canaan, to whom Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the [son] of Nun, and the heads of the families of the tribes of the children of Israel, gave inheritance.

2. మోషేద్వారా యెహోవా ఆజ్ఞాపించి నట్లు యాజకుడైన ఎలియాజరును నూను కుమారుడైన యెహోషువయు ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల గోత్రములయొక్క పితరుల కుటుంబముల ప్రధానులును చీట్లు వేసి, తొమ్మిది గోత్రములవారికిని అర్ధగోత్రపువారికిని ఆ స్వాస్థ్యములను పంచిపెట్టిరి.

2. They inherited according to their lots, as the Lord commanded by the hand of Joshua to the nine tribes and the half tribe, on the other side of the Jordan.

3. మోషే రెండు గోత్రములకును అర్ధగోత్ర మునకును యొర్దాను అవతలి స్వాస్థ్యముల నిచ్చియుండెను. అతడు వారిలో లేవీయులకు ఏ స్వాస్థ్యము ఇయ్యలేదు

3. But to the Levites he gave no inheritance among them.

4. యోసేపు వంశకులగు మనష్షే ఎఫ్రాయిములను రెండు గోత్రములవారు నివసించుటకు పట్టణములును వారి పశు వులకును వారి మందలకును పట్టణముల సమీపభూములను మాత్రమేకాక లేవీయులకు ఆ దేశమున ఏ స్వాస్థ్యము ఇయ్యలేదు.

4. For the sons of Joseph were two tribes, Manasseh and Ephraim; and there was no inheritance in the land given to the Levites, only cities to dwell in, and their suburbs separated for the livestock, and their cattle.

5. యెహోవా మోషేకు ఆజ్ఞాపించినట్లు ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు చేసి దేశమును పంచుకొనిరి.

5. As the Lord commanded Moses, so did the children of Israel; and they divided the land.

6. యూదా వంశస్థులు గిల్గాలులో యెహోషువ యొద్దకు రాగా కెనెజీయుడగు యెఫున్నె కుమారుడైన కాలేబు అతనితో ఈలాగు మనవిచేసెనుకాదేషు బర్నేయలో దైవజనుడైన మోషేతో యెహోవా నన్ను గూర్చియు నిన్నుగూర్చియు చెప్పినమాట నీ వెరుగుదువు.

6. And the children of Judah came to Joshua in Gilgal, and Caleb the [son] of Jephunneh the Kenizzite said to him, You know the word that the Lord spoke to Moses the man of God concerning me and you in Kadesh Barnea.

7. దేశ మును వేగుచూచుటకు యెహోవా సేవకుడైన మోషే కాదేషు బర్నేయలోనుండి నన్ను పంపినప్పుడు నేను నలువది ఏండ్లవాడను; ఎవరికిని భయపడక నేను చూచినది చూచినట్టే అతనికి వర్తమానము తెచ్చితిని.

7. For I was forty years old when Moses the servant of God sent me out of Kadesh Barnea to spy out the land; and I returned him an answer according to his mind.

8. నాతోకూడ బయలుదేరి వచ్చిన నా సహోదరులు జనుల హృదయము లను కరుగచేయగా నేను నా దేవుడైన యెహోవాను నిండు మనస్సుతో అనుసరించితిని.

8. My brethren that went up with me turned away the heart of the people, but I applied myself to follow the Lord my God.

9. ఆ దినమున మోషే ప్రమాణము చేసినీవు నా దేవుడైన యెహోవాను నిండు మనస్సుతో అనుసరించితివి గనుక నీవు అడుగుపెట్టిన భూమి నిశ్చయముగా నీకును నీ సంతానమునకును ఎల్లప్పు డును స్వాస్థ్యముగా ఉండుననెను.

9. And Moses swore on that day, saying, The land on which your foot has trodden, it shall be your inheritance and your children's forever, because you have applied yourself to follow the Lord our God.

10. యెహోవా చెప్పి నట్లు యెహోవా మోషేకు ఆ మాట సెలవిచ్చినప్పటి నుండి ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు అరణ్యములో నడచిన యీ నలు వది ఐదు ఏండ్లు ఆయన నన్ను సజీవునిగా కాపాడి యున్నాడు; ఇదిగో నేనిప్పుడు ఎనబదియయిదేండ్ల వాడను.

10. And now the Lord has kept me alive as He said: this [is] the forty-fifth year since the Lord spoke that word to Moses; and Israel journeyed in the wilderness; and now, behold, I [am] this day eighty-five years old.

11. మోషే నన్ను పంపిన నాడు నాకెంత బలమో నేటివరకు నాకంత బలము. యుద్ధము చేయుటకు గాని వచ్చుచు పోవుచునుండుటకు గాని నాకెప్పటియట్లు బల మున్నది.

11. I am still strong this day, as when the Lord sent me: just so strong am I now to go out and to come in for war.

12. కాబట్టి ఆ దినమున యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చిన యీ కొండ ప్రదేశమును నాకు దయచేయుము; అనాకీ యులును ప్రాకారముగల గొప్ప పట్టణములును అక్కడ ఉన్న సంగతి ఆ దినమున నీకు వినబడెను. యెహోవా నాకు తోడైయుండిన యెడల యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చినట్లు వారి దేశమును స్వాధీనపరచుకొందును.

12. And now I ask of you this mountain, as the Lord said in that day; for you heard this word on that day. And now the Anakim are there, cities great and strong. If then the Lord should be with me, I will utterly destroy them, as the Lord said to me.

13. యెఫున్నె కుమారుడైన కాలేబు ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల దేవుడైన యెహో వాను నిండు మనస్సుతో అనుసరించువాడు గనుక యెహో షువ అతని దీవించి అతనికి హెబ్రోనును స్వాస్థ్యముగా ఇచ్చెను.

13. And Joshua blessed him, and gave Hebron to Caleb the son of Jephunneh the son of Keniz for an inheritance.

14. కాబట్టి హెబ్రోను యెఫున్నె అను కెనెజీ యుని కుమారుడైన కాలేబునకు నేటివరకు స్వాస్థ్యముగా నున్నది.

14. Therefore Hebron became the inheritance of Caleb the [son] of Jephunneh the Kenizzite until this day, because he followed the commandment of the Lord God of Israel.

15. పూర్వము హెబ్రోను పేరు కిర్యతర్బా. అర్బా అనాకీయులలో గొప్పవాడు అప్పుడు దేశము యుద్ధములేకుండ నెమ్మదిగా ఉండెను.

15. And the name of Hebron before formerly was Kirjath Arba, it [is] the metropolis of the Anakim. And the land rested from war.
