1. యూదా వంశస్థుల గోత్రమునకు వారి వంశముల చొప్పున చీట్లవలన వచ్చినవంతు ఎదోము సరి హద్దువరకును, అనగా దక్షిణదిక్కున సీను అరణ్యపు దక్షిణ దిగంతము వరకును ఉండెను.

1. Now the allotment for the tribe of the descendants of Judah by their clans was in the southernmost region, south of the wilderness of Zin to the border of Edom.

2. దక్షిణమున వారి సరిహద్దు ఉప్పు సముద్రతీరమున దక్షిణదిశ చూచుచున్న అఖాతము మొదలుకొని వ్యాపించెను.

2. Their southern border began at the tip of the Dead Sea on the south bay

3. అది అక్రబ్బీము నెక్కు చోటికి దక్షిణముగా బయలుదేరి సీనువరకు పోయి కాదేషు బర్నేయకు దక్షిణముగా ఎక్కి హెస్రోనువరకు సాగి అద్దారు ఎక్కి కర్కాయువైపు తిరిగి

3. and went south of the ascent of Akrabbim, proceeded to Zin, ascended to the south of Kadesh-barnea, passed Hezron, ascended to Addar, and turned to Karka.

4. It proceeded to Azmon and to the Brook of Egypt and so the border ended at the Mediterranean Sea. This is your southern border.

5. Now the eastern border was along the Dead Sea to the mouth of the Jordan. The border on the north side was from the bay of the sea at the mouth of the Jordan.

6. ఆ సరిహద్దు బేత్‌ హోగ్లావరకు సాగి బేతరాబా ఉత్తర దిక్కువరకు వ్యాపించెను. అక్కడనుండి ఆ సరిహద్దు రూబేనీయుడైన బోహను రాతివరకు వ్యాపించెను.

6. It ascended to Beth-hoglah, proceeded north of Beth-arabah, and ascended to the stone of Bohan son of Reuben.

7. ఆ సరిహద్దు ఆకోరులోయనుండి దెబీరువరకును ఏటికి దక్షిణతీరముననున్న అదుమీ్మము నెక్కుచోటికి ఎదురుగా నున్న గిల్గాలునకు అభిముఖముగా ఉత్తరదిక్కు వైపునకును వ్యాపించెను. ఆ సరిహద్దు ఏన్‌షే మెషు నీళ్లవరకు వ్యాపించెను. దాని కొన ఏన్‌రోగేలునొద్ద నుండెను.

7. Then the border ascended to Debir from the Valley of Achor, turning north to the Gilgal that is opposite the ascent of Adummim, which is south of the ravine. The border proceeded to the waters of En-shemesh and ended at En-rogel.

8. ఆ సరిహద్దు పడమట బెన్‌హిన్నోములోయ మార్గముగా దక్షిణదిక్కున యెబూసీయుల దేశమువరకు, అనగా యెరూషలేమువరకు నెక్కెను. ఆ సరిహద్దు పడమట హిన్నోము లోయకు ఎదురుగానున్న కొండ నడికొప్పువరకు వ్యాపించెను. అది ఉత్తర దిక్కున రెఫాయీయుల లోయ తుదనున్నది.

8. From there the border ascended the Valley of Hinnom to the southern Jebusite slope (that is, Jerusalem) and ascended to the top of the hill that faces the Valley of Hinnom on the west, at the northern end of the Valley of Rephaim.

9. ఆ సరిహద్దు ఆ కొండ నడికొప్పునుండియు నెఫ్తోయ నీళ్లయూటయొద్దనుండియు ఏఫ్రోనుకొండ పురములవరకు వ్యాపించెను. ఆ సరిహద్దు కిర్యత్యారీమను బాలావరకు సాగెను.

9. From the top of the hill the border curved to the spring of the Waters of Nephtoah, went to the cities of Mount Ephron, and then curved to Baalah (that is, Kiriath-jearim).

10. ఆ సరిహద్దు పడమరగా బాలానుండి శేయీరు కొండకు వంపుగా సాగి కెసాలోనను యారీముకొండ యొక్క ఉత్తరపు వైపునకుదాటి బేత్షెమెషువరకు దిగి తిమ్నావైపునకు వ్యాపించెను.

10. The border turned westward from Baalah to Mount Seir, went to the northern slope of Mount Jearim (that is, Chesalon), descended to Beth-shemesh, and proceeded to Timnah.

11. ఉత్తరదిక్కున ఆ సరిహద్దు ఎక్రోనువరకు సాగి అక్కడనుండిన సరిహద్దు షిక్రోను వరకును పోయి బాలాకొండను దాటి యబ్నెయేలువరకును ఆ సరిహద్దు సముద్రమువరకును వ్యాపించెను.

11. Then the border reached to the slope north of Ekron, curved to Shikkeron, proceeded to Mount Baalah, went to Jabneel, and ended at the Mediterranean Sea.

12. పడమటి సరిహద్దు గొప్ప సముద్రపు సరిహద్దువరకు వ్యాపించెను. యూదా సంతతివారి వంశముల చొప్పున వారి సరిహద్దు ఇదే.

12. Now the western border was the coastline of the Mediterranean Sea. This was the boundary of the descendants of Judah around their clans.

13. యెహోవా యెహోషువకు ఇచ్చిన ఆజ్ఞచొప్పున యూదా వంశస్థుల మధ్యను యెఫున్నె కుమారుడైన కాలేబునకు ఒక వంతును, అనగా అనాకీయుల వంశకర్త యైన అర్బాయొక్క పట్టణమును ఇచ్చెను, అది హెబ్రోను.

13. He gave Caleb son of Jephunneh [the following] portion among the descendants of Judah based on the LORD's instruction to Joshua: Kiriath-arba (that is, Hebron; Arba was the father of Anak).

14. అక్కడనుండి కాలేబు అనాకుయొక్క ముగ్గురు కుమారు లైన షెషయి అహీమాను తల్మయి అను అనాకీయుల వంశీ యులను వెళ్లగొట్టి వారిదేశమును స్వాధీనపరచుకొనెను.

14. Caleb drove out from there the three sons of Anak: Sheshai, Ahiman, and Talmai, descendants of Anak.

15. అక్కడనుండి అతడు దెబీరు నివాసులమీదికి పోయెను. అంతకుముందు దెబీరు పేరు కిర్యత్సేఫెరు.

15. From there he marched against the inhabitants of Debir whose name used to be Kiriath-sepher,

16. and Caleb said, 'I will give my daughter Achsah as a wife to the one who strikes down and captures Kiriath-sepher.'

17. So Othniel son of Caleb's brother, Kenaz, captured it, and Caleb gave his daughter Achsah to him as a wife.

18. When she arrived, she persuaded Othniel to ask her father for a field. As she got off her donkey, Caleb asked her, 'What do you want?'

20. This was the inheritance of the tribe of the descendants of Judah by their clans.

21. These were the outermost cities of the tribe of the descendants of Judah toward the border of Edom in the Negev: Kabzeel, Eder, Jagur,

35. యర్మూతు అదు ల్లాము శోకో అజేకా

35. Jarmuth, Adullam, Socoh, Azekah,

36. Shaaraim, Adithaim, Gederah, and Gederothaim-- 14 cities, with their villages;

45. Ekron, with its towns and villages;

46. from Ekron to the sea, all [the cities] near Ashdod, with their villages;

47. గాజాను వాటి ప్రాంతమువరకును వాటి గ్రామములును పల్లెలును,

47. Ashdod, with its towns and villages; Gaza, with its towns and villages, to the Brook of Egypt and the coastline of the Mediterranean Sea.

57. Kain, Gibeah, and Timnah-- 10 cities, with their villages;

58. Halhul, Beth-zur, Gedor,

59. బేతనోతు ఎల్తెకోననునవి, వాటి పల్లెలు పోగా ఆరు పట్టణములు.

59. Maarath, Beth-anoth, and Eltekon-- six cities, with their villages;

60. కిర్యత్యారీ మనగా కిర్యత్బయలు రబ్బా అనునవి, వాటి పల్లెలు పోగా రెండు పట్టణములు.

60. Kiriath-baal (that is, Kiriath-jearim), and Rabbah-- two cities, with their villages.

61. అరణ్యమున బేతరాబా మిద్దీను సెకాకా నిబ్షాను యీల్మెలహు ఎన్గెదీ అనునవి,

61. In the wilderness: Beth-arabah, Middin, Secacah,

62. వాటి పల్లెలు పోగా ఆరు పట్టణములు.

62. Nibshan, the City of Salt, and En-gedi-- six cities, with their villages.

63. యెరూషలేములో నివసించిన యెబూసీ యులను యూదా వంశస్థులు తోలివేయ లేకపోయిరి గనుక యెబూసీయులు నేటివరకు యెరూషలేములో యూదా వంశస్థులయొద్ద నివసించుచున్నారు.

63. But the descendants of Judah could not drive out the Jebusites who lived in Jerusalem. So the Jebusites live in Jerusalem among the descendants of Judah to this day.
