1. మరియు అబద్ధప్రవక్తలు ప్రజలలో ఉండిరి. అటువలెనే మీలోను అబద్దబోధకులుందురు; వీరు తమ్మును కొనిన ప్రభువునుకూడ విసర్జించుచు, తమకుతామే శీఘ్రముగా నాశనము కలుగజేసికొనుచు, నాశనకరమగు భిన్నాభిప్రాయములను రహస్యముగా బోధించుదురు.

1. There were false prophets among the people even as there shall be false teachers among you: which privily shall bring in damnable sects, even denying the Lord that hath bought them, and bring on their own heads(upon themselves) swift damnation,

2. మరియు అనేకులు వారి పోకిరిచేష్టలను అనుసరించి నడుతురు; వీరినిబట్టి సత్యమార్గము దూషింపబడును.

2. and many shall follow their damnable ways, by which the way of truth(trueth) shall be evil spoken of,

3. and thorow covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you, whose(upon whom the) judgment is not far off,(is not negligent in tarying of old) and their damnation sleepeth not.

4. దేవదూతలు పాపము చేసినప్పుడు దేవుడు వారిని విడిచిపెట్టక, పాతాళలోక మందలి కటిక చీకటిగల బిలములలోనికి త్రోసి, తీర్పుకు కావలిలో ఉంచబడుటకు వారిని అప్పగించెను.

4. For if God spared not the angels that sinned but cast them down into hell, and put(delivered) them in chains of darkness (to be punished) there to be kept unto judgement:(and delivered them over to be kept unto judgment)

5. మరియు ఆయన పూర్వకాలమందున్న లోకమును విడిచిపెట్టక, భక్తిహీనుల సమూహముమీదికి జలప్రళయమును రప్పించి నప్పుడు, నీతిని ప్రకటించిన నోవహును మరి యేడుగురిని కాపాడెను.

5. neither spared the old world: but saved Noah the eighth preacher of righteousness, and brought in the flood into(upon) the world of the ungodly,

6. and turned the cities of Zodom and Gomor into ashes: overthrew them, damned them, and made of them an ensample unto all(those) that after should live ungodly.

7. దుర్మార్గుల కామ వికారయుక్తమైన నడవడిచేత బహు బాధపడిన నీతిమంతుడగు లోతును తప్పించెను.
ఆదికాండము 19:1-16

7. And just Lot vexed with the uncleanly(ungodly) conversation of the wicked, delivered he.

8. ఆ నీతిమంతుడు వారి మధ్యను కాపురముండి, తాను చూచినవాటినిబట్టియు వినినవాటినిబట్టియు, వారి అక్రమమైన క్రియల విషయములో దినదినము నీతిగల తన మనస్సును నొప్పించుకొనుచు వచ్చెను.

8. For he being righteous and dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed(grieved) his righteous soul from day to day with their unrighteous(unlawful) deeds.

9. భక్తులను శోధనలోనుండి తప్పించుటకును, దుర్ణీతిపరులను ముఖ్యముగా మలినమైన దురాశకలిగి శరీరానుసారముగా నడుచు కొనుచు, ప్రభుత్వమును నిరాకరించుచు,

9. The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptation, and how to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment for to be punished:

10. శిక్షలో ఉంచ బడినవారిని తీర్పుదినమువరకు కావలిలో ఉంచుటకును, ప్రభువు సమర్థుడు. వీరు తెగువగలవారును స్వేచ్ఛాపరులునై మహాత్ములను దూషింప వెరువకయున్నారు.

10. namely(but specially) them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise the rulers. Presumptuous are they, and stubborn and fear not to speak evil of them that are in authority.(auctorite)

11. దేవదూతలు వారికంటె మరి అధికమైన బలమును శక్తియు గలవారైనను, ప్రభువు ఎదుట వారిని దూషించి వారిమీద నేరము మోప వెరతురు.

11. When the angels which are greater both in power and might, receive not of the Lord railing judgement against them.(bear not that blasphemous judgment against them of the LORDE)

12. వారైతే పట్టబడి చంప బడుటకే స్వభావసిద్ధముగా పుట్టిన వివేకశూన్యములగు మృగములవలె ఉండి, తమకు తెలియని విషయములను గూర్చి దూషించుచు, తమ దుష్‌ప్రవర్తనకు ప్రతిఫలముగా హాని అనుభవించుచు, తాము చేయు నాశనముతోనే తామే నాశనము పొందుదురు,

12. But these as brute beasts, naturally made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of that they know not, and shall perish through(in) their own destruction,

13. ఒకనాటి సుఖాను భవము సంతోషమని యెంచుకొందురు. వారు కళంకములును నిందాస్పదములునై తమ ప్రేమవిందులలో మీతోకూడ అన్నపానములు పుచ్చుకొనుచు తమ భోగ ములయందు సుఖించుదురు.

13. and receive the reward of unrighteousness. They count it pleasure to live deliciously for a season. Spots they are and filthiness: and of you they make a mockingstock feasting together in their deceivable ways:(Spots they are and filthiness, living at pleasure, and in deceivable ways, feasting with you:)

14. వ్యభిచారిణిని చూచి ఆశించుచు పాపము మానలేని కన్నులు గలవారును, అస్థిరులైనవారి మనస్సులను మరులుకొల్పుచు లోభిత్వ మందు సాధకముచేయబడిన హృదయముగలవారును, శాప గ్రస్తులునైయుండి,

14. having eyes full of advoutry, and that cannot cease to sin, beguiling(entising) unstable souls. Hearts they have exercised with covetousness. They are cursed children,

15. తిన్ననిమార్గమును విడిచి బెయోరు కుమారుడైన బిలాము పోయిన మార్గమునుబట్టి త్రోవ తప్పిపోయిరి.

15. and have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, which loved the reward of unrighteousness:

16. ఆ బిలాము దుర్నీతివలన కలుగు బహుమానమును ప్రేమించెను; అయితే తాను చేసిన అతిక్రమము నిమిత్తము అతడు గద్దింపబడెను, ఎట్లనగా నోరులేని గార్దభము మానవస్వరముతో మాటలాడి ఆ ప్రవక్తయొక్క వెఱ్ఱితనము అడ్డగించెను.

16. but was rebuked of his iniquity. The tame and dumb beast, speaking with man's voice forbade the foolishness of the prophet.

17. వీరు నీళ్లులేని బావులును, పెనుగాలికి కొట్టుకొనిపోవు మేఘములునై యున్నారు. వీరికొరకు గాఢాంధకారము భద్రము చేయబడియున్నది.

17. These are wells without water, and clouds carried about of a tempest, to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever.

18. వీరు వ్యర్థమైన డంబపుమాటలు పలుకుచు, తామే శరీరసంబంధమైన దురాశలుగలవారై, తప్పుమార్గమందు నడుచువారిలోనుండి అప్పుడే తప్పించు కొనినవారిని పోకిరిచేష్టలచేత మరలుకొల్పుచున్నారు.

18. For when they have spoken the swelling(proud) words of vanity,(vanity, unto the utmost) they beguile(entise) with wantonness thorow the lusts of the flesh them that were clean escaped: but now are wrapped in errors.(walk in error)

19. తామే భ్రష్టత్వమునకు దాసులైయుండియు, అట్టివారికి స్వాతంత్ర్యము ఇత్తుమని చెప్పుదురు. ఒకడు దేనివలన జయింపబడునో దానికి దాసుడగును గదా

19. They promise them liberty, and are them selves the bondservants of corruption. For of whomsoever a man is overcome, unto the same is he in bondage.

20. వారు ప్రభువును రక్షకుడునైన యేసుక్రీస్తు విషయమైన అనుభవ జ్ఞానముచేత ఈ లోకమాలిన్యములను తప్పించుకొనిన తరువాత మరల వాటిలో చిక్కుబడి వాటిచేత జయింప బడినయెడల, వారి కడవరి స్థితి మొదటి స్థితికంటె మరి చెడ్డదగును.

20. For if they, after they have escaped from the filthiness of the world thorow the knowledge of the Lord, and of the saviour Jesus Christ, they are yet tangled again therein and overcome: then is the latter end worse with them than the beginning.

21. వారు నీతిమార్గమును అనుభవపూర్వకముగా తెలిసి కొని, తమకు అప్పగింపబడిన పరిశుద్ధమైన ఆజ్ఞనుండి తొలగిపోవుటకంటె ఆ మార్గము అనుభవపూర్వకముగా తెలియక యుండుటయే వారికి మేలు.

21. For it had been better for them, not to have known the way of righteousness, than after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment given unto them.

22. కుక్కతన వాంతికి తిరిగినట్టును, కడుగబడిన పంది బురదలో దొర్లుటకు మళ్లి నట్టును అను నిజమైన సామితె చొప్పున వీరికి సంభవించెను.

22. It is happened unto them according to the true proverb: The dog is turned to his vomit again, and the sow after she is(that was) washed, is returned to her wallowing in the mire.
