Obedience to God’s Word
James 1:21 Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent, and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you.
We should always remember that we must strive to be obedient to God-s Word and keep our hearts and minds pure. We must be willing to put away anything that stands in the way of our relationship with God and accept His Word into our hearts.
This is not easy, but it is necessary if we want to experience the fullness of God-s love and forgiveness. We must be willing to turn away from our old ways and accept the truth of God-s Word. We must be willing to be humble and recognize that we do not have all the answers, but that God does. We must also be willing to trust in God-s plan for our lives and to trust that He will lead us in the right direction. We must be willing to accept the truth of His Word and to follow it as our guide.
This is not always easy, but it is necessary if we want to experience the joy and peace that comes from living in obedience to God-s Word. So, take some time today to humbly accept the Word of God and commit to living a life of obedience to His commands. Amen.
