యేసు సిలువలో పలికిన ఏడు మాటలు - అయిదవ మాట
మదర్ థె
రిస్సా తన ఆశ్రమంలోని ప్రార్ధనా గదిలో గోడపై "దప్పిగొనుచున్నాను" అనే ఆంగ్ల భాషాలో పదాలు వ్రాసియుండేవట. పరిశుద్ధ గ్రంథంలో ఎన్నో మాటలుంటే మీరెందుకు కేవలం ఈ చిన్న పదమే వ్రాసారని ఆమెను అడిగితే ఆమె ఇచ్చిన జవాబు "ఆత్మలకొరకైన దాహం".
యేసు క్రీస్తు అనేక సందర్భాల్లో తాను దప్పిక కలిగియున్నాడని గమనించగలం. "నేను దప్పి గొంటిని, మీరు నాకు దాహమియ్యలేదను" సంగతి వివరిస్తూ మిక్కిలి అల్పులైన వారి దాహమును తీర్చితే నాకు తీర్చినట్టేనని ప్రభువు బోధించాడు. అనగా మన సమాజంలో బలహీనులైనటువంటి వారికి మనవంతు సహాయం చేయడం ధన్యకరం. మదర్ థె

దాహమునకు కొన్ని నీళ్లు ఇవ్వమని

యేసు పలికిన మాటలు తన శారీరక దప్పికను గూర్చి కాదు గాని ఆత్మీయ దప్పిక అని గమనించగలం.
యూదులు మాత్రమే కాదు
సమరయులు కూడా రక్షించబడాలనే ఉద్దేశం ఆ స్త్రీ ద్వారా
సమరయుల మధ్య సువార్త ద్వారాలు తెరువబడ్డాయి. ఎప్పుడైతే రాబోయే మెస్సయ్య యేసయ్యేనని కనుగొన్నదో తన జీవితాన్ని
క్రీస్తుకు అంకితం చేసుకుంది.
సమరయయంతట సువార్తను ప్రకటించింది.
"నేనిచ్చు నీళ్లు త్రాగువాడెప్పుడును దప్పిగొనడు; నేను వానికిచ్చు నీళ్లు నిత్యజీవమునకై వానిలో ఊరెడి నీటి బుగ్గగా ఉండునని"
సమరయ స్త్రీతో చెప్పిన
దేవుడు సిలువలో దప్పిగొనుచున్నాడు. ఆశ్చర్యంగా ఉంది కదా!
సిలువలో తన పని సంపూర్ణమైనప్పుడు "దప్పిగొనుచున్నాను" అను మాట, రక్షించబడిన మన ఆత్మలు తన దగ్గరకు రావాలనే ఆత్మీయ దప్పిక.
కలువరిలో
క్రీస్తు పొందిన శ్రమ మనకొరకేనని గ్రహించి ఆ సిలువ యొద్దకు చేరి రక్షించబడిన అనుభవం కలిగియున్నమనం ఆ శ్రమను అనేకులకు వివరించే ప్రయత్నంతో సిలువలో
క్రీస్తు దాహమును తీర్చినవారమవుతాము.

Fifth Word-Sayings of Jesus on the Cross.
Mother Teresa had the words "I Thirst" on the wall of the prayer room of her monastery. When she was asked why such a short word out of so many words from the Holy Bible, her answer was "thirst for souls"
We see Jesus quoting the word thirst in many Situations"I was thirsty and you gave me to drink" further Jesus says whatever you did for one of the least of the brothers and sisters, you did for me. This implies when ever we are helping the weak and forbidden you minister to God and not men. Mother teresa has the same heart attitude towards the underprivileged and sick of the society.
When Jesus asked the Samaritan lady for water as he was thirsty, its the thirst of souls and not the physical one. With the intention of saving not just jews but also samaritans, God opened the door of gospel to samaritans though this woman. When she realized who Jesus was she changed her life with this encounter with messaih, she preached gospel throughout samaria.
Jesus said "but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” to the Samaritan woman and we see the same Jesus say" I thirst "at the Cross...
Its really surprising right!
At the Cross when Jesus accomplished Gods will, when he said "I thirst" is the thirst for the lost souls.
When we have received the Salvation through the sufferings of Christ on the cross we become the instruments to minister the same to the lost world and thus we quench his thirst for souls.
