1. యెహోవా తన్ను సౌలుచేతిలోనుండియు, తనశత్రువులందరి చేతిలోనుండియు తప్పించిన దినమున దావీదు ఈ గీత వాక్యములను చెప్పియెహోవాను స్తోత్రించెను. అతడిట్లనెను.

1. David sang the words of this song to the LORD when the LORD had rescued him from the grasp of all his enemies and from the hand of Saul.

2. యెహోవా నా శైలము, నా కోట, నా రక్షకుడు.

2. This is what he sang: I 'O LORD, my rock, my fortress, my deliverer,

3. నా దుర్గము, నేను ఆయనను ఆశ్రయించుదును. నా కేడెము నా రక్షణశృంగమునా ఉన్నతదుర్గము నా ఆశ్రయస్థానము. ఆయనే నాకు రక్షకుడుబలాత్కారులనుండి నన్ను రక్షించువాడవు నీవే.

3. my God, my rock of refuge! My shield, the horn of my salvation, my stronghold, my refuge, my savior, from violence you keep me safe.

5. 'The breakers of death surged round about me, the floods of perdition overwhelmed me;

6. The cords of the nether world enmeshed me, the snares of death overtook me.

7. నా శ్రమలో నేను యెహోవాకు మొఱ్ఱ పెట్టితిని నా దేవుని ప్రార్థన చేసితిని ఆయన తన ఆలయములో ఆలకించి నా ప్రార్థన అంగీకరించెనునా మొఱ్ఱ ఆయన చెవులలో చొచ్చెను.

7. In my distress I called upon the LORD and cried out to my God; From his temple he heard my voice, and my cry reached his ears. III

8. అప్పుడు భూమి కంపించి అదిరెనుపరమండలపు పునాదులు వణకెనుఆయన కోపింపగా అవి కంపించెను.

8. 'The earth swayed and quaked; the foundations of the heavens trembled and shook when his wrath flared up.

9. ఆయన నాసికారంధ్రములలోనుండి పొగ పుట్టెనుఆయన నోటనుండి అగ్నివచ్చి దహించెనునిప్పు కణములను రాజబెట్టెను.

9. Smoke rose from his nostrils, and a devouring fire from his mouth; he kindled coals into flame.

10. మేఘములను వంచి ఆయన వచ్చెనుఆయన పాదముల క్రింద గాఢాంధకారము కమ్మియుండెను.

10. He inclined the heavens and came down, with dark clouds under his feet.

11. కెరూబుమీద ఎక్కి ఆయన యెగిరి వచ్చెను. గాలి రెక్కలమీద ప్రత్యక్షమాయెను.

11. He mounted a cherub and flew, borne on the wings of the wind.

12. గుడారమువలె అంధకారము తనచుట్టు వ్యాపింపజేసెను. నీటిమబ్బుల సముదాయములను, ఆకాశపు దట్టపు మేఘములను వ్యాపింపజేసెను.

12. He made darkness the shelter about him, with spattering rain and thickening clouds.

13. ఆయన సన్నిధికాంతిలోనుండి నిప్పుకణములు పుట్టెను.

13. From the brightness of his presence coals were kindled to flame.

14. యెహోవా ఆకాశమందు గర్జించెను సర్వోన్నతుడు ఉరుముధ్వని పుట్టించెను.

14. 'The LORD thundered from heaven; the Most High gave forth his voice.

15. తనబాణములను ప్రయోగించి శత్రువులను చెదరగొట్టెనుమెరుపులను ప్రయోగించి వారిని తరిమివేసెనుయెహోవా గద్దింపునకుతన నాసికారంధ్రముల శ్వాసము వడిగావిడువగా ఆయన గద్దింపునకుప్రవాహముల అడుగుభాగములు కనబడెను

15. He sent forth arrows to put them to flight; he flashed lightning and routed them.

16. భూమి పునాదులు బయలుపడెను.

16. Then the wellsprings of the sea appeared, the foundations of the earth were laid bare, At the rebuke of the LORD, at the blast of the wind of his wrath.

17. ఉన్నతస్థలములనుండి చెయ్యి చాపి ఆయన నన్ను పట్టుకొనెనునన్ను పట్టుకొని మహా జలరాసులలోనుండి తీసెను.

17. 'He reached out from on high and grasped me; he drew me out of the deep waters.

18. బలవంతులగు పగవారు, నన్ను ద్వేషించువారు, నాకంటె బలిష్ఠులై యుండగా వారి వశమునుండి ఆయన నన్ను రక్షించెను.

18. He rescued me from my mighty enemy, from my foes, who were too powerful for me.

19. ఆపత్కాలమందు వారు నామీదికి రాగా యెహోవా నన్ను ఆదుకొనెను. విశాలమైన స్థలమునకు నన్ను తోడుకొని వచ్చెను.

19. They attacked me on my day of calamity, but the LORD came to my support.

20. నేను ఆయనకు ఇష్టుడను గనుక ఆయన నన్ను తప్పిం చెను.

20. He set me free in the open, and rescued me, because he loves me. IV

21. నా నీతినిబట్టి ఆయన నాకు ప్రతిఫలమిచ్చెను నా నిర్దోషత్వమునుబట్టియే నాకు ప్రతిఫల మిచ్చెను.

21. 'The LORD rewarded me according to my justice; according to the cleanness of my hands he requited me.

22. యెహోవా మార్గములను నేను అనుసరించుచున్నాను. భక్తిహీనుడనై నా దేవుని విడచినవాడను కాను.

22. For I kept the ways of the LORD and was not disloyal to my God.

23. ఆయన న్యాయవిధుల నన్నిటిని నేను లక్ష్యపెట్టుచున్నాను ఆయన కట్టడలను త్రోసివేసిన వాడనుకాను.

23. For his ordinances were all present to me, and his statutes I put not from me;

24. దోషక్రియలు నేను చేయనొల్లకుంటిని ఆయన దృష్టికి యథార్థుడనైతిని.

24. But I was wholehearted toward him, and I was on my guard against guilt.

25. కావున నేను నిర్దోషినై యుండుట యెహోవా చూచెను తన దృష్టికి కనబడిన నా చేతుల నిర్దోషత్వమునుబట్టి నాకు ప్రతిఫలమిచ్చెను.

25. And the LORD requited me according to my justice, according to my innocence in his sight.

26. దయగలవారియెడల నీవు దయ చూపించుదువు యథార్థవంతులయెడల నీవు యథార్థవంతుడవుగానుందువు.

26. 'Toward the faithful you are faithful; toward the wholehearted you are wholehearted;

27. సద్భావముగల వారియెడల నీవు సద్భావము చూపుదువు మూర్ఖులయెడల నీవు వికటముగా నుందువు.

27. Toward the sincere you are sincere; but toward the crooked you are astute.

28. శ్రమపడువారిని నీవు రక్షించెదవు గర్విష్ఠులకు విరోధివై వారిని అణచి వేసెదవు

28. You save lowly people, though on the lofty your eyes look down.

29. యెహోవా, నీవు నాకు దీపమై యున్నావు యెహోవా చీకటిని నాకు వెలుగుగా చేయును.

29. You are my lamp, O LORD! O my God, you brighten the darkness about me.

30. నీ సహాయముచేత నేను సైన్యములను జయింతును నా దేవుని సహాయమువలన నేను ప్రాకారములను దాటుదును.

30. For with your aid I run against an armed band, and by the help of my God I leap over a wall.

31. దేవుడు యథార్థవంతుడు యెహోవా వాక్కు నిర్మలము ఆయన శరణుజొచ్చువారికందరికి ఆయన కేడెము.

31. God's way is unerring; the promise of the LORD is fire-tried; he is a shield to all who take refuge in him.' I

32. యెహోవా తప్ప దేవుడేడి? మన దేవుడు తప్ప ఆశ్రయదుర్గమేది?

32. 'For who is God except the LORD? Who is a rock save our God?

33. దేవుడు నాకు బలమైన కోటగా ఉన్నాడు ఆయన తన మార్గమునందు యథార్థవంతులను నడి పించును.

33. The God who girded me with strength and kept my way unerring;

34. ఆయన నా కాళ్లు జింకకాళ్లవలె చేయును ఎత్తయిన స్థలములమీద నన్ను నిలుపును.

34. Who made my feet swift as those of hinds and set me on the heights;

35. నా చేతులకు యుద్ధముచేయ నేర్పువాడు ఆయనే నా బాహువులు ఇత్తడి విల్లును ఎక్కు బెట్టును.

35. Who trained my hands for war till my arms could bend a bow of brass. II

36. నీవు నీ రక్షణ కేడెమును నాకు అందించుదువు నీ సాత్వికము నన్ను గొప్పచేయును.

36. 'You have given me your saving shield, and your help has made me great.

37. నా పాదములకు చోటు విశాలపరచుదువు నా చీలమండలు బెణకలేదు.

37. You made room for my steps; unwavering was my stride.

38. నా శత్రువులను తరిమి నాశనము చేయుదును వారిని నశింపజేయువరకు నేను తిరుగను.

38. I pursued my enemies and destroyed them, nor did I turn again till I made an end of them.

39. నేను వారిని మింగివేయుదును వారిని తుత్తినియలుగా కొట్టుదును వారు నా పాదముల క్రింద పడి లేవలేకయుందురు.

39. I smote them and they did not rise; they fell beneath my feet. III

40. యుద్ధమునకు బలము నీవు నన్ను ధరింపజేయుదువు నామీదికి లేచినవారిని నీవు అణచివేయుదువు.

40. 'You girded me with strength for war; you subdued my adversaries beneath me.

41. నా శత్రువులను వెనుకకు మళ్లచేయుదువు నన్ను ద్వేషించువారిని నేను నిర్మూలము చేయుదును.

41. My enemies you put to flight before me and those who hated me I destroyed.

42. వారు ఎదురు చూతురు గాని రక్షించువాడు ఒకడును లేకపోవును వారు యెహోవాకొరకు కనిపెట్టుకొనినను ఆయన వారికి ప్రత్యుత్తరమియ్యకుండును.

42. They cried for help-- but no one saved them; to the LORD-- but he answered them not.

43. నేల ధూళివలె వారిని నలుగగొట్టెదను పొడిగా వారిని కొట్టెదను వీధిలోని పెంటవలె నేను వారిని పారపోసి అణగద్రొక్కెదను.

43. I ground them fine as the dust of the earth; like the mud in the streets I trampled them down. IV

44. నా ప్రజల కలహములలో పడకుండ నీవు నన్నువిడిపించితివి జనులకు అధికారిగా నన్ను నిలిపితివి నేను ఎరుగని జనులు నన్ను సేవించెదరు.

44. 'You rescued me from the strife of my people; you made me head over nations. A people I had not known became my slaves;

45. అన్యులు నాకు లోబడినట్టు వేషము వేయుదురు వారు నన్నుగూర్చి వినిన మాత్రముచేత నాకు విధేయులగుదురు

45. as soon as they heard me, they obeyed.

46. అన్యులు దుర్బలులై వణకుచు తమ దుర్గములను విడచి వచ్చెదరు.

46. The foreigners fawned and cringed before me; they staggered forth from their fortresses.'

47. యెహోవా జీవముగలవాడు నా ఆశ్రయదుర్గమైనవాడు స్తోత్రార్హుడు నాకు రక్షణాశ్రయ దుర్గమైన దేవుడు మహోన్నతుడగును గాక

47. 'The LORD live! And blessed be my Rock! Extolled be my God, rock of my salvation.

48. ఆయన నా నిమిత్తము ప్రతిదండన చేయు దేవుడు ఆయన నా నిమిత్తము పగ తీర్చు దేవుడు జనములను నాకు లోపరచువాడు ఆయనే.

48. O God, who granted me vengeance, who made peoples subject to me

49. ఆయనే నా శత్రువుల చేతిలోనుండి నన్ను విడిపించును నామీదికి లేచినవారికంటె ఎత్తుగా నీవు నన్ను హెచ్చించుదువు. బలాత్కారము చేయువారి చేతిలోనుండి నీవు నన్ను విడిపించుదువు.

49. and helped me escape from my enemies, Above my adversaries you exalt me and from the violent man you rescue me.

50. అందువలన యెహోవా, అన్యజనులలో నేను నిన్ను ఘనపరచెదను. నీ నామకీర్తన గానముచేసెదను.
రోమీయులకు 15:9

50. Therefore will I proclaim you, O LORD, among the nations, and I will sing praise to your name,

51. నీవు నియమించిన రాజునకు గొప్ప రక్షణ కలుగ జేయువాడవు అభిషేకించిన దావీదునకును అతని సంతానమున కును నిత్యము కనికరము చూపువాడవు.

51. You who gave great victories to your king and showed kindness to your anointed, to David and his posterity forever.'
