1. దావీదు రచించిన చివరి మాటలు ఇవే; యెష్షయి కుమారుడగు దావీదు పలికిన దేవోక్తి యిదే;యాకోబు దేవునిచేత అభిషిక్తుడై మహాధిపత్యము నొందినవాడును ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల స్తోత్రగీతములను మధురగానము చేసిన గాయకుడునగు దావీదు పలికిన దేవోక్తి యిదే.

1. These also be the last wordes of Dauid, Dauid the sonne of Ishai saith, euen the man who was set vp on hie, the Anointed of the God of Iacob, and the sweete singer of Israel saith,

2. యెహోవా ఆత్మ నా ద్వారా పలుకుచున్నాడుఆయన వాక్కు నా నోట ఉన్నది.

2. The Spirit of the Lord spake by me, and his worde was in my tongue.

3. ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల దేవుడు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు ఇశ్రాయేలీయులకు ఆశ్రయదుర్గమగువాడు నాద్వారా మాటలాడుచున్నాడు. మనుష్యులను ఏలు నొకడు పుట్టును అతడు నీతిమంతుడై దేవునియందు భయభక్తులు గలిగి యేలును.

3. The God of Israel spake to me, ye strength of Israel saide, Thou shalt beare rule ouer men, being iust, and ruling in the feare of God.

4. ఉదయకాలపు సూర్యోదయ కాంతివలెను మబ్బు లేకుండ ఉదయించిన సూర్యునివలెను వర్షము కురిసినపిమ్మట నిర్మలమైన కాంతిచేత భూమిలోనుండి పుట్టిన లేత గడ్డివలెను అతడు ఉండును.

4. Euen as the morning light when the sunne riseth, the morning, I say, without cloudes, so shall mine house be, and not as the grasse of the earth is by the bright raine.

5. నా సంతతివారు దేవుని దృష్టికి అనుకూలులే గదా ఆయన నాతో నిత్యనిబంధన చేసియున్నాడు ఆయన నిబంధన సర్వసంపూర్ణమైన నిబంధనే అది స్థిరమాయెను, దేవునికి పూర్ణానుకూలము అది నాకనుగ్రహింపబడిన రక్షణార్థమైనది నిశ్చయముగా ఆయన దానిని నెరవేర్చును.

5. For so shall not mine house be with God: for he hath made with me an euerlasting couenant, perfite in all pointes, and sure: therefore all mine health and whole desire is, that he will not make it growe so.

6. ఒకడు ముండ్లను చేత పట్టుకొనుటకు భయపడినట్లు దుర్మార్గులు విసర్జింపబడుదురు.

6. But the wicked shalbe euery one as thornes thrust away, because they can not be taken with handes.

7. ముండ్లను పట్టుకొనువాడు ఇనుప పనిముట్టునైనను బల్లెపు కోలనైనను వినియోగించును గదా మనుష్యులు వాటిలో దేనిని విడువక అంతయు ఉన్నచోటనే కాల్చివేయుదురు.

7. But the man that shall touch them, must be defensed with yron, or with the shaft of a speare: and they shall be burnt with fire in the same place.

8. దావీదు అనుచరులలో బలాఢ్యులెవరనగా యోషే బెష్షెబెతను ముఖ్యుడగు తక్మోనీయుడు; అతడు ఒక యుద్ధములో ఎనిమిది వందల మందిని హతము చేసెను.

8. These be the names of the mightie men whome Dauid had. He that sate in the seate of wisedome, being chiefe of the princes, was Adino of Ezni, he slewe eight hundreth at one time.

9. ఇతని తరువాతివాడు అహోహీయుడైన దోదో కుమారు డైన ఎలియాజరు, ఇతడు దావీదు ముగ్గురు బలాఢ్యులలో ఒకడు. యుద్ధమునకు కూడివచ్చిన ఫిలిష్తీయులు ఇశ్రా యేలీయులను తిరస్కరించి డీకొని వచ్చినప్పుడు ఇశ్రా యేలీయులు వెళ్లిపోగా ఇతడు లేచి

9. And after him was Eleazar the sonne of Dodo, the sonne of Ahohi, one of the three worthies with Dauid, when they defied the Philistims gathered there to battel, when the men of Israel were gone vp.

10. చేయి తివిు్మరిగొని కత్తి దానికి అంటుకొని పోవువరకు ఫిలిష్తీయులను హతము చేయుచు వచ్చెను. ఆ దినమున యెహోవా ఇశ్రాయేలీ యులకు గొప్ప రక్షణ కలుగజేసెను. దోపుడుసొమ్ము పట్టుకొనుటకు మాత్రము జనులు అతనివెనుక వచ్చిరి.

10. He arose and smote the Philistims vntill his hande was wearie, and his hande claue vnto the sworde: and the Lord gaue great victorie the same day, and the people returned after him onely to spoyle.

11. ఇతని తరువాతి వారెవరనగా హరారీయుడగు ఆగే కుమారు డైన షమ్మా;ఫిలిష్తీయులు అలచందల చేనిలో గుంపుకూడగాజనులు ఫిలిష్తీయులయెదుట నిలువలేక పారిపోయిరి.

11. After him was Shammah the sonne of Age the Hararite: for the Philistims assembled at a towne, where was a piece of a fielde full of lentils, and the people fled from the Philistims.

12. అప్పుడితడు ఆ చేని మధ్యను నిలిచి ఫిలిష్తీయులు దాని మీదికి రాకుండ వారిని వెళ్లగొట్టి వారిని హతము చేయుటవలన యెహోవా ఇశ్రాయేలీయులకు గొప్ప రక్షణ కలుగ జేసెను.

12. But he stoode in the middes of the fielde, and defended it, and slewe the Philistims: so the Lord gaue great victorie.

13. మరియు ముప్పదిమంది అధిపతులలో శ్రేష్ఠులైన ముగ్గురు కోతకాలమున అదుల్లాము గుహలోనున్న దావీదు నొద్దకు వచ్చినప్పుడు ఫిలిష్తీయులు రెఫాయీము లోయలో దండు దిగియుండిరి,

13. Afterward three of the thirtie captaines went downe, and came to Dauid in the haruest time vnto the caue of Adullam, and the hoste of the Philistims pitched in the valley of Rephaim.

14. దావీదు దుర్గములో నుండెను, ఫిలిష్తీయుల దండు కావలివారు బేత్లె హేములో ఉండిరి.

14. And Dauid was then in an holde, and the garison of ye Philistims was then in Beth-lehem.

15. దావీదుబేత్లెహేము గవిని దగ్గరనున్న బావి నీళ్లు ఎవడైనను నాకు తెచ్చి యిచ్చినయెడల ఎంతో సంతోషించెదనని అధికారితో పలుకగా

15. And Dauid longed, and said, Oh, that one would giue me to drinke of the water of the well of Beth-lehem, which is by the gate.

16. ఆ ముగ్గురు బలాఢ్యులు ఫిలిష్తీయుల దండు కావలివారిని ఓడించి, దారి చేసికొని పోయి బేత్లెహేము గవిని దగ్గరనున్న బావినీళ్లు చేది దావీదునొద్దకు తీసికొనివచ్చిరి; అయితే అతడు ఆ నీళ్లు త్రాగుటకు మనస్సులేక యెహోవా సన్నిధిని పారబోసియెహోవా, నేను ఇవి త్రాగను;

16. The the three mightie brake into the host of the Philistims, and drew water out of the well of Beth-lehem that was by the gate, and tooke and brought it to Dauid, who woulde not drinke thereof, but powred it for an offring vnto ye Lord,

17. ప్రాణమునకు తెగించి పోయి తెచ్చినవారి చేతి నీళ్లు త్రాగుదునా? అని చెప్పి త్రాగనొల్లకుండెను. ఆ ముగ్గురు బలాఢ్యులు ఈ కార్యములు చేసిరి.

17. And said, O Lord, be it farre from me, that I should doe this. Is not this the blood of the men that went in ieopardie of their liues? therefore he woulde not drinke it. These things did these three mightie men.

18. సెరూయా కుమారుడును యోవాబు సహోదరుడునైన అబీషై తన అనుచరులలో ముఖ్యుడు. ఇతడొక యుద్ధములో మూడువందలమందిని హతముచేసి వారిమీద తన యీటెను ఆడించెను. ఇతడు ఆ ముగ్గు రిలో పేరుపొందినవాడు.

18. And Abishai the brother of Ioab, the sonne of Zeruiah, was chiefe among the three, and he lifted vp his speare against three hundreth, and slewe them, and he had the name among the three.

19. ఇతడు ఆ ముప్పదిమందిలో ఘనుడై వారికి అధిపతి యాయెను గాని మొదటి ముగ్గురితో సమానుడు కాకపోయెను.

19. For he was most excellent of the three, and was their captaine, but he attained not vnto the first three.

20. మరియు కబ్సెయేలు ఊరివాడై క్రియలచేత ఘనతనొందిన యొక పరాక్రమశాలికి పుట్టిన యెహోయాదా కుమారుడైన బెనాయా అను నొకడు ఉండెను. ఇతడు మోయాబీయుల సంబంధులగు ఆ యిద్దరు శూరులను హతముచేసెను; మరియు మంచుకాలమున బయలువెడలి బావిలో దాగి యున్న యొక సింహమును చంపి వేసెను.

20. And Benaiah the sonne of Iehoiada the sonne of a valiant man, which had done many actes, and was of Kabzeel, slewe two strong men of Moab: he went downe also, and slewe a lyon in the middes of a pit in the time of snowe.

21. ఇంకను అతడు సౌందర్యవంతుడైన యొక ఐగుప్తీయుని చంపెను. ఈ ఐగుప్తీయుని చేతిలో ఈటెయుండగా బెనాయా దుడ్డు కఱ్ఱ తీసికొని వాని మీదికి పోయి వాని చేతిలోని యీటె ఊడలాగి దానితోనే వాని చంపెను.

21. And he slewe an Egyptian a man of great stature, and the Egyptian had a speare in his hande: but he went downe to him with a staffe, and plucked the speare out of the Egyptians hand, and slewe him with his owne speare.

22. ఈ కార్యములు యెహోయాదా కుమారుడైన బెనాయా చేసినందున ఆ ముగ్గురు బలాఢ్యులలోను అతడు పేరుపొంది

22. These things did Benaiah the sonne of Iehoiada, and had the name among the three worthies.

23. ఆ ముప్పది మందిలో ఘనుడాయెను. అయినను మొదటి ముగ్గురితో సమానుడు కాకపోయెను. దావీదు ఇతనిని తన సభికులలో ఒకనిగా నియమించెను.

23. He was honourable among thirtie, but he atteined not to the first three: and Dauid made him of his counsell.

24. ఆ ముప్పదిమంది యెవరనగా, యోవాబు సహోదరుడైన అశాహేలు, బేత్లెహేమీయుడగు దోదో కుమారుడగు ఎల్హానాను,

24. Asahel the brother of Ioab was one of the thirtie: Elhanan the sonne of Dodo of Beth-lehem:

25. హరోదీయుడైన షమ్మా, హరోదీయుడైన ఎలీకా,

25. Shammah the Harodite: Elika ye Harodite:

26. పత్తీయుడైన హేలెస్సు, తెకోవీయుడగు ఇక్కేషు కుమారుడైన ఈరా,

26. Helez the Paltite: Ira the sonne of Ikkesh the Tekoite:

27. అనాతోతీయుడైన అబీ యెజరు, హుషాతీయుడైన మెబున్నయి,

27. Abiezer the Anethothite: Mebunnai the Husathite:

28. అహోహీయుడైన సల్మోను, నెటోపాతీయుడైన మహరై

28. Zalmon an Ahohite: Maharai the Netophathite:

29. నెటోపాతీయుడైన బయానాకు పుట్టిన హేలెబు, బెన్యామీనీయుల గిబియాలో పుట్టిన రీబై కుమారుడైన ఇత్తయి,

29. Heleb the sonne of Baanah a Netophathite: Ittai the sonne of Ribai of Gibeah of the children of Beniamin:

30. పరాతోనీయుడైన బెనాయా, గాయషు ఏళ్లనడుమ నివసించు హిద్దయి,

30. Benaiah the Pirathonite: Hiddai of the riuer of Gaash:

31. అర్బాతీయుడైన అబీయల్బోను, బర్హుమీయుడైన అజ్మావెతు,

31. Abi-albon the Arbathite: Azmaueth the Barhumite:

32. షయల్బోనీయుడైన ఎల్యహ్బా, యాషేను యొక్క కుమారులలో యోనాతాను,

32. Elihaba the Shaalbonite: of the sonnes of Iashen, Ionathan:

33. హరారీయుడైన షమ్మా, హరారీయుడైన షారారు నకు పుట్టిన అహీ యాము,

33. Shammah the Hararite: Ahiam the sonne of Sharar the Hamrite:

34. మాయాకాతీయునికి పుట్టిన అహస్బయి కుమారుడైన ఎలీపేలెటు, గిలోనీయుడైన అహీతో పెలు కుమారుడగు ఏలీయాము,

34. Eliphelet the sonne of Ahasbai the sonne of Maachathi: Eliam the sonne of Ahithophel the Gilonite:

35. కర్మెతీయుడైన హెస్రై, అర్బీయుడైన పయరై,

35. Hezrai the Carmelite: Paarai the Arbite:

36. సోబావాడగు నాతాను యొక్క కుమారుడైన ఇగాలు, గాదీయుడైన బానీ,

36. Igal the sonne of Nathan of Zobah: Bani the Gadite:

37. అమ్మోనీయుడైన జెలెకు, బెయేరోతీయుడైన నహరై, యితడు సెరూయా కుమారుడగు యోవాబుయొక్క ఆయుధములను మోయువాడై యుండెను.

37. Zelek the Ammonite: Naharai the Becrothite, the armour bearer of Ioab the sonne of Zeruiah:

38. ఇత్రీయుడైన ఈరా, ఇత్రీయుడైన గారేబు,

38. Ira the Ithrite: Gareb the Ithrite:

39. హిత్తీయుడైన ఊరియా. వారందరు ముప్పది యేడుగురు.
