1. అయితే ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు ఇగుప్తుదేశములో నుండి బయలుదేరి వచ్చిన నాలుగువందల ఎనుబదియవ సంవత్సర మందు, అనగా సొలొమోను ఇశ్రాయేలును ఏలిన నాలుగవ సంవత్సరమందు జీప్‌ అను రెండవ మాసమున అతడు యెహోవా మందిరమును కట్టింప నారంభించెను.

1. And so it came to pass, in the four hundred and eightieth year, by the coming forth of the sons of Israel out of the land of Egypt, in the fourth year (in the month of Zif, the same, being the second month) of the reign of Solomon over Israel, that he began to build the house unto Yahweh.

2. రాజైన సొలొమోను యెహోవాకు కట్టించిన మందిరము అరువది మూరల పొడుగును ఇరువది మూరల వెడల్పును ముప్పది మూరల ఎత్తును గలదై యుండెను.

2. Now, the house which King Solomon built unto Yahweh, was sixty cubits in length, and twenty in breadth, and thirty cubits in height.

3. పరిశుద్ధస్థలము ఎదుట నున్న ముఖమంటపము మందిరముయొక్క వెడల్పునుబట్టి యిరువది మూరల పొడవు, మందిరము ముందర అది పది మూరల వెడల్పు.

3. And, the porch in front of the temple of the house, was twenty cubits in length, according to the breadth of the house, ten cubits in breadth, in front of the house.

4. అతడు మందిరమునకు విచిత్రమైన పనితో చేయబడిన అల్లిక కిటికీలను చేయించెను.

4. And he made to the house windows, with closed bars.

5. మరియు మందిరపు గోడచుట్టు గదులు కట్టించెను; మంది రపు గోడలకును పరిశుద్ధస్థలమునకును గర్భాలయమునకును చుట్టు నలుదిశల అతడు గదులు కట్టించెను.

5. And he built by the wall of the house a gallery, round about, against the walls of the house, round about, both to the temple, and to the shrine, and he made side chambers round about.

6. క్రింది అంతస్తుగది అయిదు మూరల వెడల్పు, మధ్య అంతస్తు గది ఆరు మూరల వెడల్పు, మూడవ అంతస్తుగది యేడు మూరల వెడల్పు; ఏమనగా దూలములు మందిరపు గోడ లోపల ఆనకుండ మందిరపు గోడచుట్టు బయటి తట్టున చిమ్మురాళ్లు ఉంచబడెను.

6. The, lowest gallery, was five cubits broad, and, the middle, six cubits broad, and, the third, seven cubits broad, for he put, ledges, against the house round about, on the outer side, so as not to make fastenings in the walls of the house.

7. అయితే మందిరము కట్టు సమయమున అది ముందుగా సిద్ధపరచి తెచ్చిన రాళ్లతో కట్టబడెను, మందిరము కట్టు స్థలమున సుత్తె గొడ్డలిమొదలైన యినుప పనిముట్ల ధ్వని యెంత మాత్రమును వినబడలేదు.

7. Now, the house, when it was in building, with whole quarry-stones, was built, neither hammer, nor axe, nor any tools of iron, was heard in the house, when it was in building.

8. మధ్య అంతస్తుకు తలుపు మందిరపు కుడి పార్శ్యమున ఉండెను, మధ్య అంతస్తు గదికిని మధ్య అంతస్తు గదిలోనుండి మూడవ అంతస్తు గదికిని ఎక్కి పోవుటకు చుట్టును మెట్ల చట్రముండెను.

8. The entrance of the lowest story, was on the right side of the house, and, by winding stairs, went they up unto the middle story , and, out of the middle, into, the third.

9. ఈ ప్రకారము అతడు మందిరమును కట్టించుట ముగించి మందిరమును దేవదారు దూలములతోను పలకలతోను కప్పించెను.

9. So he built the house, and finished it, and ceiled the house with planks and beams of cedar;

10. మరియు మందిరమునకు చుట్టు గదులను కట్టించెను; ఇవి అయిదు మూరల యెత్తుగలవై దేవదారు దూలములచేత మందిరముతో దిట్టముగా సంధింపబడెను.

10. and built the gallery against all the house, five cubits in height, and so fastened the house, with timber of cedar.

11. అంతలో యెహోవా వాక్కు సొలొమోనునకు ప్రత్యక్షమై యీలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను.

11. Then came the word of Yahweh unto Solomon, saying:

12. ఈ మందిరమును నీవు కట్టించుచున్నావే; నీవు నా కట్టడలను న్యాయవిధులను అనుసరించి నడుచుకొనుచు, నేను నియమించిన ఆజ్ఞలన్నిటిని గైకొనిన యెడల నీ తండ్రియైన దావీదుతో నేను చేసిన వాగ్దానమును నీ పక్షముగా స్థిరపరచెదను;

12. Concerning this house, which thou art building, If thou wilt walk in my statutes, and, my regulations, wilt practise, and so observe all my commandments, by walking in them, Then will I establish my word with thee, which I spake unto David thy father;

13. నా జనులైన ఇశ్రాయేలీయులను విడిచిపెట్టక నేను వారిమధ్య నివాసము చేసెదను.

13. and will make my habitation in the midst of the sons of Israel, and will not forsake my people Israel.

14. ఈ ప్రకారము సొలొమోను మందిరమును కట్టించి ముగించెను.

14. Thus Solomon built the house, and finished it;

15. అతడు మందిరపు లోపలి గోడలను అడుగు నుండి పైకప్పు వరకు దేవదారు పలకలచేత కట్టించెను; లోపల వాటిని సరళపుమ్రాను పలకలతో కప్పి మందిరపు నట్టిల్లు దేవదారు పలకలతో కప్పివేసెను.

15. and he built the walls of the house on the inside, with boards of cedar, from the floor of the house, unto the cross-beams of the ceiling, he overlaid it with wood, on the inside, and he overlaid the floor of the house with boards of fir.

16. మరియు మందిరపు ప్రక్కలను దిగువనుండి గోడల పైభాగము మట్టుకు దేవదారు పలకలతో ఇరువది మూరల యెత్తు కట్టించెను; వీటిని గర్భాలయమునకై, అనగా అతిపరిశుద్ద మైన స్థలమునకై అతడు లోపల కట్టించెను.

16. And he built twenty cubits, at the hinder part of the house, with boards of cedar, from the floor as far as the cross-beams, and he built it within, for a shrine, even for the holy of holies;

17. అయితే దాని ముందరనున్న పరిశుద్ధస్థలము నలువది మూరల పొడుగై యుండెను.

17. but, forty cubits, was the house itself, the same, was the temple, before the oracle.

18. మందిరములోపలనున్న దేవదారు పలకలమీద గుబ్బలును వికసించిన పువ్వులును చెక్కబడి యుండెను; అంతయు దేవదారుకఱ్ఱ పనియే, రాయి యొకటైన కనబడలేదు.

18. And, the cedar for the house within, was carved with colocynths, and with festoons of flowers, the whole, was cedar, there was no stone to be seen.

19. యెహోవా నిబంధన మందసము నుంచుటకై మందిరములోపల గర్భాలయమును సిద్ధపర చెను.

19. And, the shrine in the midst of the house within, made he ready, for placing there, the ark of the covenant of Yahweh.

20. గర్భాలయము లోపల ఇరువది మూరల పొడుగును ఇరువది మూరల వెడల్పును ఇరువది మూరల యెత్తును గలదై యుండెను, దీనిని మేలిమి బంగారముతో పొది గించెను, అర్జకఱ్ఱతో చేయబడిన బలిపీఠమును ఈలాగుననెపొదిగించెను.

20. And, the interior of the shrine, was twenty cubits in length, and twenty cubits in breadth, and twenty cubits in height, and he overlaid it, with pure gold, and overlaid the altar with cedar.

21. ఈలాగున సొలొమోను మందిరమును లోపల మేలిమి బంగారముతో పొదిగించి గర్భాలయపు ముంగిలికి బంగారపు గొలుసులుగల తెర చేయించి బంగార ముతో దాని పొదిగించెను.

21. Thus then did Solomon overlay the house within, with pure gold, and he drew chains of gold across the front of the shrine, and overlaid it with gold;

22. ఏ భాగమును విడువకుండ మందిరమంతయు బంగారముతో పొదిగించెను; గర్భాలయము నొద్దనున్న బలిపీఠమంతటిని బంగారముతో పొది గించెను.

22. yea, all the house, overlaid he with gold, until he had made all the house into one whole, even all the altar that was by the shrine, overlaid he with gold.

23. మరియు అతడు గర్భాలయమందు పదేసి మూరల యెత్తుగల రెండు కెరూబులను ఒలీవ కఱ్ఱతో చేయించెను;

23. And he made, within the shrine, two cherubim of wild olive wood, ten cubits in height;

24. ఒక్కొక్క కెరూబునకు అయిదేసి మూరల పొడవుగల రెక్కలుండెను; ఒక రెక్క చివర మొదలు కొని రెండవ రెక్క చివరమట్టుకు పది మూరలు పొడవు.

24. and, five cubits, was the one wing of the cherub, and, five cubits, the second wing of the cherub, ten cubits, from the one end of his wings unto the other end of his wings.

25. రెండవ కెరూబును పది మూరలు కలదై యుండెను; కెరూబులు రెండింటికిని ఏక పరిమాణమును ఏకాకారమును కలిగి యుండెను.

25. Ten cubits, also was the second cherub, of one size and one shape, were the two cherubim.

26. ఒక కెరూబు పది మూరల యెత్తు రెండవ కెరూబు దానివలెనే యుండెను.

26. The height of the one cherub, was ten cubits, and, so, of the second cherub.

27. అతడు ఈ కెరూబులను గర్భాలయములో ఉంచెను. ఆ కెరూబుల రెక్కలు విప్పుకొని యొకదాని రెక్క యివతలి గోడకును రెండవదాని రెక్క అవతలి గోడకును అంటి యుండెను; గర్భాలయమందు వీటి రెక్కలు ఒకదానితో ఒకటి అంటుకొని యుండెను.

27. And he placed the cherubim in the midst of the inner house, and the cherubim stretched forth their wings, so that the wing of the one touched the one wall, and the wing of the other cherub, was touching the other wall, and, their wings in the midst of the house, were touching, wing to wing.

28. ఈ కెరూబులను అతడు బంగారముతో పొదిగించెను.

28. And he overlaid the cherubim with gold.

29. మరియు మందిరపు గోడ లన్నిటిమీదను లోపల నేమి వెలుపల నేమి కెరూబులను తమాల వృక్షములను వికసించిన పుష్పములను చెక్కిం చెను.

29. And, all the walls of the house round about, carved he with figures of cherubim, and palm-trees, and festoons of flowers, within and without.

30. మరియు మందిరపు నట్టిల్లు లోపలను వెలుపలను బంగారముతో పొదిగించెను.

30. Even the floor of the house, overlaid he with gold, within and without.

31. గర్భాలయపు ద్వారములకు ఒలీవకఱ్ఱతో తలుపులు చేయించెను; ద్వారబంధముమీది కమ్మియు నిలువు కమ్ములును గోడ వెడల్పులో అయిదవ భాగము వెడల్పు ఉండెను.

31. And, the entrance of the shrine, made he with doors, of wild olive-wood, the pillars and posts being a fifth.

32. రెండు తలుపులును ఒలీవ కఱ్ఱవి; వాటిమీద కెరూబులను తమాల వృక్షములను విక సించిన పుష్పములను చెక్కించి వాటిని బంగారముతో పొదిగించెను; కెరూబుల మీదను తమాల వృక్షముల మీదను బంగారము పొదిగించెను.

32. The two doors, also were of olive-wood, and he carved upon them carvings of cherubim, and palm-trees, and festoons of flowers, and overlaid them with gold, yea he spread out, over the cherubim and over the palm-trees, the gold.

33. మరియు పరిశుద్ధ స్థలపు ద్వారమునకు ఒలీవకఱ్ఱతో రెండు నిలువు కమ్ములు చేయించెను; ఇవి గోడవెడల్పులో నాలుగవవంతు వెడల్పుగా నుండెను.

33. So, also, made he for the entrance of the temple, with posts of wild olive-wood, a fourth part.

34. రెండు తలుపులు దేవదారుకఱ్ఱతో చేయబడి యుండెను; ఒక్కొక్క తలుపునకు రెండేసి మడత రెక్కలు ఉండెను.

34. And, the two doors, were of fir wood, the two leaves of the one door, were folding, and, the two leaves of the other door, were folding.

35. వాటిమీద అతడు కెరూబులను తమాల వృక్షములను వికసించిన పుష్పములను చెక్కించి ఆ చెక్కిన వాటిమీద బంగారు రేకును పొది గించెను.

35. And he carved cherubim, and palm-trees, and festoons of flowers, and overlaid them with gold, smoothed out on the carved work.

36. మరియు లోపలనున్న సాలను మూడు వరుసలను చెక్కిన రాళ్లతోను ఒక వరుసను దేవదారు దూలములతోను కట్టించెను.

36. And he built the inner court, with three rows of hewn stone, and a row of beams of cedar.

37. నాలుగవ సంవత్సరము జీప్‌ అను మాసమున యెహోవా మందిరపు పునాది వేయబడెను;

37. In the fourth year, was laid the foundation of the house of Yahweh, in the month Zif;

38. పదునొకండవ సంవత్సరము బూలు అను ఎనిమిదవ మాస మున దాని యేర్పాటుచొప్పున దాని ఉపభాగములన్నిటితోను మందిరము సమాప్తమాయెను. ఏడు సంవత్సరములు సొలొమోను దానిని కట్టించుచుండెను.

38. and, in the eleventh year, in the month Bul the same, is the eighth month, was the house finished, as to all the particulars thereof, and as to all the appointments thereof, so then he built it in seven years.
