1. సొలొమోను యెహోవా మందిరమును రాజనగరును కట్టుటయు, తాను చేయకోరినదంతటిని చేయుటయు ముగించిన తరువాత

1. And it came to pass, when Solomon had made an end of building the house of Yahweh, and the house of the king, and everything that Solomon desired, which he was pleased to make,

2. గిబియోనులో ప్రత్యక్షమైనట్లు రెండవమారు యెహోవా సొలొమోనునకు ప్రత్యక్షమై

2. then appeared Yahweh unto Solomon, a second time, as he appeared unto him, in Gibeon.

3. అతనితో ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను - నా సముఖమందు నీవు చేసిన ప్రార్థన విన్నపములను నేను అంగీకరించితిని, నా నామమును అక్కడ సదాకాలము ఉంచుటకు నీవు కట్టించిన యీ మందిరమును పరిశుద్ధపరచియున్నాను; నా దృష్టియు నా మనస్సును ఎల్లప్పుడు అక్కడ ఉండును.

3. And Yahweh said unto him I have heard thy prayer and thy supplication, wherewith thou hast made supplication before me, I have hallowed this house, which thou hast built, to put my Name there unto times age-abiding, and mine eyes and my heart shall be there, continually:

4. నీ తండ్రి యైన దావీదు నడిచినట్లు నీవును యథార్థహృద యుడవై నీతిని బట్టి నడుచుకొని, నేను నీకు సెలవిచ్చిన దంతటిప్రకారము చేసి నా కట్టడలను విధులను అను సరించిన యెడల

4. As for thee, therefore, if thou wilt walk before me, as David thy father walked, with a whole heart and with uprightness, to do according to all that I have commanded thee, and, my statutes and my regulations, wilt keep,

5. నీ సంతతిలో ఒకడు ఇశ్రాయేలీయులమీద సింహాసనాసీనుడై యుండక మానడని నీ తండ్రియైన దావీదునకు నేను సెల విచ్చియున్నట్లు ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల మీద నీ సింహాసనమును చిరకాలమువరకు స్థిరపరచుదును.

5. then will I establish the throne of thy kingdom over Israel, unto times age-abiding, as I promised unto David thy father, saying, There shall not be cut off to thee a man, from off the throne of Israel.

6. అయితే మీరేగాని మీ కుమారులే గాని యేమాత్రమైనను నన్ను వెంబడించుట మాని, నేనిచ్చిన ఆజ్ఞలను కట్టడలను అనుసరింపక యితరమైన దేవతలను కొలిచి పూజిం చినయెడల

6. If ye, turn back, ye or your sons, from following me, and keep not my commandments, my statutes, which I have set before you, but depart and serve other gods, and bow yourselves down to them,

7. నేను ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల కిచ్చిన యీ దేశములో వారిని ఉండనియ్యక వారిని నిర్మూలము చేసి, నా నామమునకు నేను పరిశుద్ధ పరచిన యీ మందిరమును నా సముఖములోనుండి కొట్టివేసెదను; ఇశ్రాయేలీ యులు సర్వజనములలో చెదరిపోయి సామెతగాను హేళనగాను చేయబడుదురు.

7. then will I cut off Israel, from the face of the soil, which I have given unto them, and, the house which I have hallowed for my Name, will I suffer to be carried away from before me, and Israel shall become a byword and a mockery, among all the peoples;

8. ఈ మందిరమార్గమున వచ్చువారందరును దానిచూచి, ఆశ్చర్యపడి ఇసీ, యనియెహోవా ఈ దేశమునకును ఈ మందిరమునకును ఈలా గున ఎందుకు చేసెనని యడుగగా
మత్తయి 23:38

8. and, this house which had been renowned, shall be desolate, every one that passeth by it, shall be astonished and shall whistle, and men shall say For what cause, hath Yahweh done, thus, unto this land, and unto this house?

9. జనులిట్లందురు ఐగుప్తు దేశములోనుండి తమ పితరులను రప్పించిన తమ దేవుడైన యెహోవాను వారు విడిచి యితర దేవతలను ఆధారము చేసికొని కొలిచి పూజించుచు వచ్చిరి గనుక యెహోవా ఈ కీడంతయు వారిమీదికి రప్పించియున్నాడు.

9. And men will answer Because they forsook Yahweh their God, who brought forth their fathers out of the land of Egypt, and laid hold of other gods, and bowed themselves down to them, and served them, for this cause, hath Yahweh brought in upon them all this ruin.

10. సొలొమోను యెహోవా మందిరమును రాజనగరును ఈ రెండింటిని యిరువది సంవత్సరములలోగా కట్టించెను. అతడు పని ముగించిన తరువాత తూరు రాజైన హీరాము సొలొమోను కోరినంతమట్టుకు దేవదారు మ్రానులను సరళ వృక్షపు మ్రానులను బంగారమును అతనికి వచ్చియున్నందున

10. And it came to pass, at the end of twenty years, when Solomon had built the two houses, the house of Yahweh, and the house of the king;

11. సొలొమోను గలిలయ దేశమందున్న యిరువది పట్టణములను హీరాము కప్పగించెను.

11. Hiram king of Tyre having supplied Solomon with timber of cedar, and with timber of fir, and with gold, according to all his desire, that, then, King Solomon gave unto Hiram twenty cities, in the land of Galilee.

12. హీరాము సొలొమోను తనకిచ్చిన పట్టణములను చూచుటకు తూరునుండి రాగా అవి అతని దృష్టికి అనుకూలమైనవిగా కనబడలేదు గనుక

12. And Hiram came out from Tyre to view the cities which, Solomon, had given him, and they were not pleasing in his eyes.

13. నా సహోదరుడా, నీవు నాకిచ్చిన యీ పట్టణములు ఏపాటివనెను. నేటివరకు వాటికి కాబూల్‌ అని పేరు.

13. So he said What cities are these which thou hast given me, my brother? And he called them, Unfruitful Land, as they are called unto this day.

14. హీరాము రెండువందల నలువది మణుగుల బంగారమును రాజునకు పంపించెను.

14. Now Hiram had sent to the king, a hundred and twenty talents of gold.

15. యహోవా మందిరమును సొలొమోను నగరమును మిల్లోను, యెరూషలేముయొక్క ప్రాకారమును హాసోరు మెగిద్దో గెజెరు అను పట్టణములను కట్టించుటకు సొలొమోను వెట్టి వారిని పెట్టెను.

15. Now, the following, is an account of the tax which King Solomon raised, for building the house of Yahweh and his own house, and Millo, and the wall of Jerusalem, and Hazor and Megiddo, and Gezer.

16. ఐగుప్తు రాజైన ఫరో గెజెరుమీదికి వచ్చి దాని పట్టుకొని అగ్నిచేత కాల్చి ఆ పట్టణమందున్న కనానీయులను హతము చేసి దానిని తన కుమార్తెయైన సొలొమోను భార్యకు కట్నముగా ఇచ్చెను.

16. Pharaoh king of Egypt, had gone up and captured Gezer, and burned it with fire, the Canaanites also who were dwelling in the city, had he slain, and had given it as a dowry, to his daughter, wife of Solomon.

17. సొలొమోను గెజెరును కట్టించెను, మరియు దిగువను బేత్‌ హోరోనును,

17. So then Solomon built Gezer, and Beth-horon, the nether,

18. బయతాతును అరణ్యములోనున్న తద్మోరు నును,

18. and Baalath and Tadmor in the wilderness, in the land;

19. సొలొమోను భోజనపదార్థములకు ఏర్పాటైన పట్టణములను, రథములకు ఏర్పాటైన పట్టణములను, రౌతు లకు ఏర్పాటైన పట్టణములను సొలొమోను యెరూష లేమునందును లెబానోనునందును తాను ఏలిన దేశమంతటి యందును ఏదేది కట్టుటకు కోరెనో అదియును కట్టించెను.

19. also all the store cities, which Solomon had, and the cities for chariots, and the cities for horsemen, and the desire of Solomon that he was pleased to build in Jerusalem, and in Lebanon, and in all the land that he ruled over.

20. అయితే ఇశ్రాయేలీయులుకాని అమోరీయులు హిత్తీయులు పెరిజ్జీయులు హివ్వీయులు యెబూసీయులు అను వారిలో శేషించిన వారుండిరి.

20. All the people that were left, of the Amorites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Hivites and the Jebusites, who were, not of the sons of Israel;

21. ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు వారిని నిర్మూలము చేయలేకపోగా వారి దేశమందు శేషించియున్న వారి పిల్లలను సొలొమోను దాసత్వముచేయ నియమింపగా నేటివరకు ఆలాగు జరుగుచున్నది.

21. their sons, who were left after them in the land, whom the sons of Israel were not able to devote to destruction, Solomon levied them for a toiling labour-band which remaineth unto this day.

22. అయితే ఇశ్రాయేలీయులలో ఎవనినైనను సొలొమోను దాసునిగా చేయలేదు; వారు రాణువవారుగాను తనకు సేవకులుగాను అధిపతులుగాను సైన్యాధిపతులుగాను అతని రథాధిపతులుగాను రౌతులుగాను ఉండిరి.

22. But, of the sons of Israel, Solomon devoted none to bond-service, but, they, were men of war, and his servants, and his generals, and his heroes, and captains of his chariots, and his horsemen.

23. సొలొమోను యొక్క పనిమీదనున్న ప్రధానులు ఐదువందల ఏబదిమంది; వీరు పనివాండ్లమీద అధికారులుగా ఉండిరి.

23. These, were the chiefs of the officers, who were over the work, for Solomon, five hundred and fifty, who ruled over the people that wrought in the work.

24. ఫరో కుమార్తె దావీదు పురమునుండి సొలొమోను తనకు కట్టించిన నగరునకెక్కి రాగా అతడు మిల్లోను కట్టించెను.

24. Scarcely had Pharaoh's daughter come up out of the city of David, into her own house, which he had built for her, when he built Millo.

25. మరియు సొలొమోను తాను కట్టించిన బలిపీఠముమీద ఏడాదిలో మూడు మారులు దహనబలులను సమాధాన బలులను యెహోవాకు అర్పించుచు, యెహోవా సముఖ మందున్న పీఠముమీద ధూపద్రవ్యము వేయుచుండెను; పిమ్మట అతడు మందిరమును సమాప్తము చేసెను.

25. And Solomon used to offer, three times a year, ascending-sacrifices and peace-offerings, upon the altar which he had built unto Yahweh, and to offer incense at the altar which was before Yahweh, thus Solomon gave completeness unto the house.

26. మరియు రాజైన సొలొమోను ఎదోముదేశపు ఎఱ్ఱ సముద్రతీరమందున్న ఏలతు దగ్గర ఎసోన్గెబెరునందు ఓడ లను కట్టించెను.

26. A fleet also, did King Solomon build in Ezion-geber, which is beside Eloth on the shore of the Red Sea, in the land of Edom.

27. సొలొమోను సేవకులతో కూడ హీరాము సముద్రప్రయాణముచేయ నెరిగిన ఓడవారైన తన దాసులను ఓడలమీద పంపెను.

27. And Hiram sent in the fleet his servants, seamen, having knowledge of the sea, with the servants of Solomon;

28. వారు ఓఫీరను స్థలమునకు పోయి అచ్చటనుండి యెనిమిది వందల నలువది మణుగుల బంగారమును రాజైన సొలొమోను నొద్దకు తీసికొని వచ్చిరి.

28. and they came to Ophir, and fetched from thence, gold, four hundred and twenty talents, and brought it to King Solomon.
