1. దావీదు తనకొరకు దావీదుపురమందు ఇండ్లు కట్టించెను; దేవుని మందస మునకు ఒక స్థలమును సిద్ధపరచి, దానిమీద గుడారమొకటి వేయించెను.

1. And Dauid made him houses in the citie of Dauid, and prepared a place for the Arke of God, and pitched for it a tent.

2. మందసమును ఎత్తుటకును నిత్యము తనకు సేవ చేయుటకును యెహోవా లేవీయులను ఏర్పరచుకొనెనని చెప్పివారు తప్ప మరి ఎవరును దేవుని మందసమును ఎత్తకూడదని దావీదు ఆజ్ఞ ఇచ్చెను.

2. Then Dauid saide, None ought to carie the Arke of God, but the Leuites: for the Lord hath chosen them to beare the Arke of the Lord, and to minister vnto him for euer.

3. అంతట దావీదు తాను యెహోవా మందసమునకు సిద్ధపరచిన స్థలమునకు దాని తీసికొనివచ్చుటకై ఇశ్రాయేలీయులనందరిని యెరూషలేమునకు సమాజముగా కూర్చెను.

3. And Dauid gathered all Israel together to Ierusalem to bring vp the Arke of the Lord vnto his place, which he had ordeined for it.

4. అహరోను సంతతివారిని

4. And Dauid assembled the sonnes of Aaron, and the Leuites.

5. లేవీయులైన కహాతు సంతతివారి అధిపతియగు ఊరీయేలును వాని బంధువులలో నూట ఇరువదిమందిని,

5. Of the sonnes of Kohath, Vriel the chiefe, and his brethren sixe score.

6. మెరారీయులలో అధిపతియైన అశాయాను వాని బంధువులలో రెండువందల ఇరువది మందిని,

6. Of the sonnes of Merari, Asaiah the chiefe, and his brethren two hundreth and twentie.

7. గెర్షోను సంతతివారికధిపతియగు యోవే లును వాని బంధువులలో నూట ముప్పదిమందిని,

7. Of the sonnes of Gershom, Ioel the chiefe, and his brethren an hundreth and thirtie.

8. ఎలీషాపాను సంతతివారికధిపతియగు షెమయాను వాని బంధు వులలో రెండువందలమందిని,

8. Of the sonnes of Elizaphan, Shemaiah the chiefe, and his brethren two hundreth.

9. హెబ్రోను సంతతివారి కధిపతియగు ఎలీయేలును వాని బంధువులలో ఎనుబది మందిని

9. Of the sonnes of Hebron, Eliel the chiefe, and his brethren fourescore.

10. ఉజ్జీయేలు సంతతివారికధిపతియగు అమ్మినా దాబును వాని బంధువులలో నూట పండ్రెండుగురిని దావీదు సమకూర్చెను.

10. Of the sonnes of Vzziel, Amminadab the chiefe, and his brethren an hundreth and twelue.

11. అంతట దావీదు యాజకులైన సాదోకును అబ్యాతారును లేవీయులైన ఊరియేలు అశాయా యోవేలు షెమయా ఎలీయేలు అమ్మినాదాబు అనువారిని పిలిపించి వారితో ఇట్లనెను.

11. And Dauid called Zadok and Abiathar the Priestes, and of the Leuites, Vriel, Asaiah and Ioel, Shemaiah, and Eliel, and Amminadab:

12. లేవీయుల పితరుల సంతతులకుమీరు పెద్దలై యున్నారు.

12. And he saide vnto them, Ye are the chiefe fathers of the Leuites: sanctifie your selues, and your brethren, and bring vp the Arke of the Lord God of Israel vnto the place that I haue prepared for it.

13. ఇంతకుముందు మీరు ఇశ్రా యేలీయుల దేవుడైన యెహోవా మందసమును మోయక యుండుటచేతను, మనము మన దేవుడైన యెహోవా యొద్ద విధినిబట్టి విచారణచేయకుండుటచేతను, ఆయన మనలో నాశనము కలుగజేసెను; కావున ఇప్పుడు మీరును మీవారును మిమ్మును మీరు ప్రతిష్ఠించుకొని, నేను ఆ మందసమునకు సిద్ధపరచిన స్థలమునకు దాని తేవలెను.

13. For because ye were not there at the first, the Lord our God made a breach among vs: for we sought him not after due order.

14. అప్పుడు యాజకులును లేవీయులును ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల దేవుడైన యెహోవా మందసమును తెచ్చుటకై తమ్మును తాము ప్రతిష్ఠించుకొనిరి.

14. So the Priestes and the Leuites sanctified them selues to bring vp the Arke of the Lord God of Israel.

15. తరువాత లేవీయులు యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చిన మాటనుబట్టి మోషే ఆజ్ఞాపించినట్లు దేవుని మందసమును దాని దండెలతో తమ భుజముల మీదికి ఎత్తికొనిరి.

15. And the sonnes of the Leuites bare the Arke of God vpon their shoulders with the barres, as Moses had commanded, according to the worde of the Lord.

16. అంతట దావీదుమీరు మీ బంధువులగు పాటకులను పిలిచి, స్వరమండలములు సితారాలు తాళములు లోనగు వాద్యవిశేషములతో గంభీర ధ్వని చేయుచు, సంతోషముతో స్వరములెత్తి పాడునట్లు ఏర్పాటుచేయుడని లేవీయుల అధిపతులకు ఆజ్ఞ ఇచ్చెను.

16. And Dauid spake to the chiefe of the Leuites, that they should appoint certaine of their brethren to sing with instruments of musike, with violes and harpes, and cymbales, that they might make a sounde, and lift vp their voyce with ioye.

17. కావున లేవీయులు యోవేలు కుమారుడైన హేమానును, వాని బంధువులలో బెరెక్యా కుమారుడైన ఆసాపును, తమ బంధువులగు మెరారీయులలో కూషాయాహు కుమారుడైన ఏతానును,

17. So the Leuites appointed Heman the sonne of Ioel, and of his brethren Asaph the sonne of Berechiah, and of the sonnes of Merari their brethren, Ethan the sonne of Kushaiah,

18. వీరితోకూడ రెండవ వరుసగానున్న తమ బంధువులైన జెకర్యా బేను యహజీయేలు షెమీరా మోతు యెహీయేలు ఉన్నీ ఏలీయాబు బెనాయా మయ శేయా మత్తిత్యా ఎలీప్లేహు మిక్నేయాహులనువారిని ద్వారపాలకులగు ఓబేదెదోమును యెహీయేలును పాటకు లనుగా నియమించిరి.

18. And with them their brethren in the seconde degree, Zechariah, Ben, and Iaaziel, and Shemiramoth, and Iehiel, and Vnni, Eliab, and Benaiah, and Maaseiah, and Mattithiah, and Elipheleh, and Mikneah, and Obed Edom, and Ieiel the porters.

19. పాటకులైన హేమానును ఆసాపును ఏతానును పంచలోహముల తాళములు వాయించుటకు నిర్ణయింపబడిరి.

19. So Heman, Asaph and Ethan were fingers to make a sounde with cymbales of brasse,

20. జెకర్యా అజీయేలు షెమీరామోతు యెహీయేలు ఉన్నీ ఏలీయాబు మయశేయా బెనాయా అనువారు హెచ్చు స్వరముగల స్వరమండలములను వాయించుటకు నిర్ణయింపబడిరి.

20. And Zechariah, and Aziel, and Shemiramoth, and Iehiel, and Vnni, and Eliab, and Maaseiah, and Benaiah with violes on Alamoth,

21. మరియు మత్తిత్యా ఎలీప్లేహు మిక్నేయాహు ఓబేదెదోము యెహీయేలు అజజ్యాహు అనువారు రాగమెత్తుటకును సితారాలు వాయించుటకును నిర్ణయింపబడిరి.

21. And Mattithiah, and Elipheleh, and Mikneah, and Obed Edom, and Ieiel, and Azaziah, with harpes vpon Sheminith Ienazzeah.

22. లేవీయుల కధిపతియైన కెనన్యా మందసమును మోయుటయందు గట్టివాడై నందున అతడు మోతక్రమము నేర్పుటకై నియమింపబడెను.

22. But Chenaniah the chiefe of the Leuites had the charge, bearing ye burden in the charge, for he was able to instruct.

23. బెరెక్యాయును ఎల్కానాయును మందస మునకు ముందునడుచు కావలివారుగాను

23. And Berechiah and Elkanah were porters for the Arke.

24. షెబన్యా యెహోషాపాతు నెతనేలు అమాశై జెకర్యా బెనాయా ఎలీయెజెరు అను యాజకులు దేవుని మందసమునకు ముందు బూరలు ఊదువారుగాను, ఓబేదెదోమును యెహీయాయును వెనుకతట్టు కనిపెట్టువారుగాను నియమింపబడిరి.

24. And Shecaniah and Iehoshaphat and Nethaneel and Amasai, and Zechariah, and Benaiah, and Eliezer the Priestes did blowe with trumpets before the Arke of God, and Obed Edom and Ieiiah were porters for the Arke.

25. దావీదును ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల పెద్దలును సహస్రాధిపతులును యెహోవా నిబంధన మందసమును ఓబేదెదోము ఇంటిలోనుండి తెచ్చుటకై ఉత్సాహముతో పోయిరి.

25. So Dauid and the Elders of Israel and the captaines of thousandes went to bring vp the Arke of the couenant of the Lord from the house of Obed Edom with ioye.

26. యెహోవా నిబంధన మందసమును మోయు లేవీయులకు దేవుడు సహాయముచేయగా వారు ఏడు కోడె లను ఏడు గొఱ్ఱెపొట్టేళ్లను బలులుగా అర్పించిరి.

26. And because that God helped the Leuites that bare the Arke of the couenant of the Lord, they offered seuen bullockes and seuen rammes.

27. దావీదును మందసమును మోయు లేవీయులందరును పాటకులును పాటకుల పనికి విచారణకర్తయగు కెనన్యాయును సన్నపునారతో నేయబడిన వస్త్రములు ధరించుకొని యుండిరి, దావీదును సన్నపు నారతో నేయబడిన ఏఫోదును ధరించియుండెను.

27. And Dauid had on him a linen garment, as all the Leuites that bare the Arke, and the singers and Chenaniah that had the chiefe charge of the singers: and vpon Dauid was a linnen Ephod.

28. ఇశ్రాయేలీయులందరును ఆర్బా éటము చేయుచు, కొమ్ములు బూరలు ఊదుచు, తాళములు కొట్టుచు, స్వరమండలములు సితారాలు వాయించుచు యెహోవా నిబంధన మందసమును తీసికొనివచ్చిరి.

28. Thus all Israel brought vp the Arke of the Lordes couenant with shouting and sounde of cornet, and with trumpets, and with cymbales, making a sound with violes and with harpes.

29. యెహోవా నిబంధన మందసము దావీదుపురములోనికి రాగా సౌలు కుమార్తెయైన మీకాలు కిటికీలోనుండి చూచి రాజైన దావీదు నాట్యమాడుటయు వాయించుటయు కనుగొని తన మనస్సులో అతని హీనపరచెను.

29. And when the Arke of the couenant of the Lord came into the citie of Dauid, Michal the daughter of Saul looked out at a windowe, and sawe King Dauid dauncing and playing, and she despised him in her heart.
