1. మరియుదేవుడైన యెహోవా నివాసస్థలము ఇదే యని ఇశ్రాయేలీయులర్పించు దహనబలులకు పీఠము ఇదేయని దావీదు సెలవిచ్చెను.

1. And Dauid said: This is the house of the lord God, & this is the aulter for the burnt offring of Israel.

2. తరువాత దావీదు ఇశ్రా యేలీయుల దేశమందుండు అన్యజాతి వారిని సమకూర్చుడని ఆజ్ఞ ఇచ్చి, దేవుని మందిరమును కట్టించుటకై రాళ్లు చెక్కువారిని నియమించెను.

2. And Dauid commaunded to gather together the straungers that were in the lande of Israel, and he set masons to hew and pullishe stones for the building of the house of God.

3. వాకిళ్ల తలుపులకు కావలసిన మేకులకేమి చీలలకేమి విస్తారమైన యినుమును తూచ శక్యము కానంత విస్తారమైన ఇత్తడిని

3. And Dauid prepared plentie of iron for nayles, & doores of the gates, & to ioyne withal, and aboundaunce of brasse without wayght,

4. ఎంచనలవికానన్ని దేవదారు మ్రానులను దావీదు సంపాదించెను; సీదోనీయు లును తూరీయులును దావీదునకు విస్తారమైన దేవదారు మ్రానులను తీసికొని వచ్చుచుండిరి.

4. And Cedar trees without number: For the Zidons and they of Tyre brought much Cedar wood to Dauid.

5. నా కుమారుడైన సొలొమోను పిన్నవయస్సుగల లేతవాడు; యెహోవాకు కట్టబోవు మందిరము దాని కీర్తినిబట్టియు అందమునుబట్టియు సకల దేశములలో ప్రసిద్ధిచెందునట్లుగా అది చాలా ఘనమైనదై యుండవలెను; కాగా దానికి కావలసిన సాధన రాశిని సిద్ధపరచెదనని చెప్పి, దావీదు తన మరణమునకు ముందు విస్తారముగా వస్తువులను సమకూర్చి యుంచెను.

5. And Dauid sayde: Solomon my sonne is young and tender, and the house that is to be buylded for the Lorde must be magnificall, excellent, and of great fame and dignitie throughout all countreys: I wil therfore make ordinaunces for it. And so Dauid prepared many thinges before his death.

6. తరువాత అతడు తన కుమారుడైన సొలొమోనును పిలిపించిఇశ్రాయేలీయుల దేవుడైన యెహోవాకు ఒక మందిరమును కట్టవలసినదని అతనికి ఆజ్ఞ ఇచ్చెను.

6. And he called Solomon his sonne, and charged him to buylde an house for the Lorde God of Israel.

7. మరియు దావీదు సొలొమోనుతో ఇట్లనెనునా కుమారుడా, నేను నా దేవుడైన యెహోవా నామ ఘనతకొరకు ఒక మందిరమును కట్టించవలెనని నా హృదయమందు నిశ్చయము చేసికొనియుండగా

7. And Dauid sayde to Solomon: My sonne, I thought [as it was] in myne heart to buylde an house vnto the name of the Lorde my God:

8. యెహోవా వాక్కు నాకు ప్రత్యక్షమై యీలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను నీవు విస్తారముగా రక్తము ఒలికించి గొప్ప యుద్ధములు జరిగించిన వాడవు, నీవు నా నామమునకు మందిరమును కట్టించకూడదు, నా సన్నిధిని నీవు విస్తారముగా రక్తము నేల మీదికి ఓడ్చితివి.

8. But the word of the Lord came to me, saying: Thou hast shed much blood, and hast made great battayles: thou shalt therefore not buylde an house vnto my name, for thou hast shed much blood vpon the earth in my sight.

9. నీకు పుట్టబోవు ఒక కుమారుడు సమాధానకర్తగా నుండును; చుట్టు ఉండు అతని శత్రు వులనందరిని నేను తోలివేసి అతనికి సమాధానము కలుగ జేతును; అందువలన అతనికి సొలొమోను అను పేరు పెట్ట బడును; అతని దినములలో ఇశ్రాయేలీయులకు సమాధానమును విశ్రాంతియు దయచేయుదును.

9. Behold, a sonne is borne to thee, and he shalbe a man of rest, for I wil geue him rest from all his enemies rounde about: For his name is Solomon, & I wil send rest and peace vpon Israel in his dayes.

10. అతడు నా నామమునకు ఒక మందిరమును కట్టించును, అతడు నాకు కుమారుడై యుండును, నేనతనికి తండ్రినై యుందును, ఇశ్రాయేలీయులమీద అతని రాజ్య సింహాసనమును నిత్యము స్థిరపరచుదును.

10. He shall buylde an house for my name, and he shalbe my sonne, and I wilbe his father, and I wil establishe the seate of his kingdome vpon Israel for euer.

11. నా కుమారుడా, యెహోవా నీకు తోడుగా ఉండునుగాక; నీవు వర్ధిల్లి నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా నిన్నుగూర్చి సెలవిచ్చిన ప్రకారముగా ఆయనకు మందిరమును కట్టించుదువుగాక.

11. Nowe therfore my sonne, the Lorde be with thee, and prosper thee, and thou shalt buylde an house to the Lorde thy God, as he hath sayde of thee.

12. నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా ధర్మశాస్త్రమును నీవు అనుసరించునట్లుగా యెహోవా నీకు వివేకమును తెలివిని అనుగ్రహించి ఇశ్రాయేలీయులమీద నీకు అధికారము దయచేయును గాక.

12. And the Lord shall geue thee wysdom and vnderstanding, and shall geue thee commaundementes for Israel, that thou mayst kepe the lawe of the Lorde thy God.

13. యెహోవా ఇశ్రాయేలీయులనుగూర్చి మోషేకు ఇచ్చిన కట్టడల ప్రకారముగాను ఆయన తీర్చిన తీర్పుల ప్రకారముగాను జరుపుకొనుటకు నీవు జాగ్రత్తపడిన యెడల నీవు వృద్ధిపొందుదువు; ధైర్యము తెచ్చుకొని బలముగా ఉండుము; భయపడకుము దిగులుపడకుము.

13. For then thou shalt prosper, euen when thou takest heede and fulfillest the statutes and lawes which the Lorde charged Moyses with for Israel: Plucke vp thyne hearte therfore, & be strong, dread not, nor be discouraged.

14. ఇదిగో నేను నా కష్టస్థితిలోనే ప్రయాసపడి యెహోవా మందిరము కొరకు రెండులక్షల మణుగుల బంగారమును పదికోట్ల మణుగుల వెండిని తూచ శక్యముకానంత విస్తార మైన యిత్తడిని యినుమును సమకూర్చియున్నాను; మ్రాను లను రాళ్లను కూర్చియుంచితిని; నీవు ఇంకను సంపా దించుదువుగాక.

14. Behold, according to my pouertie haue I also prepared for the house of the Lorde, an hundred thousande talentes of golde, and a thousande thousande talentes of siluer: and as for brasse & iron, it can not be nubred, (for it is verie much) And I haue prepared timber and stone, and thou mayest prouide more thereto.

15. మరియు పనిచేయతగిన విస్తారమైన శిల్పకారులును కాసె పనివారును వడ్రవారును ఏవిధ మైన పనినైనను నెరవేర్చగల మంచి పనివారును నీయొద్ద ఉన్నారు.

15. Moreouer, thou hast workemen with thee mowe, and masons, and carpenters [to worke in stone and timber,] & many men that be actiue for euery worke,

16. లెక్కింపలేనంత బంగారమును వెండియు ఇత్తడియు ఇనుమును నీకు ఉన్నవి; కాబట్టి నీవు పని పూనుకొనుము, యెహోవా నీకు తోడుగా ఉండును గాక.

16. And of golde, siluer, brasse, & iron, there is no number: Up therefore, and be doing, and the Lorde shalbe with thee.

17. మరియు తన కుమారుడైన సొలొమోనునకు సహాయము చేయవలెనని దావీదు ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల యధిపతుల కందరికిని ఆజ్ఞాపించెను.

17. And Dauid commaunded al the lordes of Israel to helpe Solomon his sonne, saying:

18. ఎట్లనగామీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా మీతోకూడ ఉన్నాడు గదా? చుట్టునున్న వారివలన తొందరలేకుండ ఆయన మీకు నెమ్మది యిచ్చి యున్నాడుగదా? దేశనివాసులను ఆయన నాకు వశపరచి యున్నాడు, యెహోవా భయమువలనను ఆయన జనుల భయమువలనను దేశము లోపరచబడియున్నది.

18. Is not the Lord your God with you? and hath he not geuen you rest on euery side? for he hath geuen the inhabitours of the lande into my hande, and the land is subdued before the Lorde, and before his people.

19. కావున హృదయపూర్వకముగా మీ దేవుడైన యెహోవాను వెదకుటకు మీ మనస్సులు దృఢపరచుకొని, ఆయన నిబంధన మందస మును దేవునికి ప్రతిష్ఠితమైన ఉపకరణములను ఆయన నామముకొరకు కట్టబడు ఆ మందిరములోనికి చేర్చుటకై మీరు పూనుకొని దేవుడైన యెహోవా పరిశుద్ధ స్థలమును కట్టుడి.

19. Nowe therefore set your heartes and your soules to seke the Lord your God: Up, and buylde ye the temple of the Lord God, to bring the arke of the couenaunt of the Lorde and the holy vessels of God into the house so buylt for the name of the Lorde.
