1. దావీదు ఏండ్లు నిండిన వృద్ధుడాయెను గనుక అతడు తన కుమారుడైన సొలొమోనును ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల మీద రాజుగా నియమించెను.

1. So Dauid made Salomon his sonne kynge ouer Israel, whan he himselfe was olde, and had lyued ynough.

2. మరియు అతడు ఇశ్రా యేలీయుల యధిపతులందరిని యాజకులను లేవీయులను సమకూర్చెను.

2. And Dauid gathered all the rulers in Israel together, and the prestes & Leuites,

3. అప్పుడు లేవీయులు ముప్పది సంవత్సర ములు మొదలుకొని అంతకు పైవయస్సుగలవారు కవిలెలో చేర్చబడిరి; వారి సంఖ్య ముప్పది యెనిమిది వేల పురుషులు.

3. to nombre ye Leuites from thirtie yeare olde & aboue. And ye nombre of the (which were stroge men) fro heade to heade, was eight and thirtie thousande:

4. వీరిలో ఇరువది నాలుగువేలమంది యెహోవా మందిరపు పని విచారించువారుగాను, ఆరు వేలమంది అధిపతులుగాను, న్యాయాధిపతులుగాను ఉండిరి.

4. of whom there were foure & twentie thousande, which dyd their diligence in the worke ouer ye house of the LORDE, and sixe thousande officers and Iudges,

5. నాలుగు వేలమంది ద్వారపాలకులుగా నియమింపబడిరి. మరినాలుగు వేలమంది స్తుతిచేయు నిమిత్తమై దావీదు చేయించిన వాద్యవిశేషములతో యెహోవాను స్తుతించువారుగా నియమింపబడిరి.

5. and foure thousande porters, & foure thousande that songe prayses vnto ye LORDE with instrumentes, which he had made to synge prayse with all.

6. గెర్షోను కహాతు మెరారీయులు అను లేవీయులలో దావీదు వారిని వరుసలుగా విభాగించెను. గెర్షోనీయులలో లద్దాను షిమీ అనువారుండిరి.

6. And Dauid made the ordinaunce amonge the children of Leui, namely amoge Gerson, Kahath & Merari.

7. లద్దాను కుమారులు ముగ్గురు;

7. The Gersonites were: Laedan and Simei.

8. పెద్దవాడగు యెహీయేలు, జేతాము యోవేలు

8. The children of Laedan: the first, Iehiel, Sethan, and Ioel, these thre.

9. షిమీ కుమారులు ముగ్గురు, షెలోమీతు హజీయేలు హారాను, వీరు లద్దాను వంశముయొక్క పితరుల పెద్దలు.

9. The children of Simei were: Salomith, Hasiel and Haran, these thre. These were the chefe amonge the fathers of Laedan.

10. యహతు జీనా యూషు బెరీయా అను నలుగురును షిమీ కుమారులు.

10. These also were the children of Simei: Iahath, Sina, Ieus and Bria, these foure were Simeis children also.

11. యహతు పెద్దవాడు జీనా రెండవవాడు. యూషునకును బెరీయాకును కుమారులు అనేకులు లేకపోయిరి గనుక తమ పితరుల యింటి వారిలో వారు ఒక్కవంశముగా ఎంచబడిరి.

11. Iahath was the first, Sina the seconde. As for Ieus and Bria, they had not many childre, therfore were they couted but for one fathers house.

12. కహాతు కుమారులు నలుగురు, అమ్రాము ఇస్హారు హెబ్రోను ఉజ్జీయేలు.

12. The childre of Kahath were: Amram, Iezehar, Hebron and Vsiel, these foure.

13. అమ్రాము కుమారులు అహరోను మోషే; అహరోనును అతని కుమారులును నిత్యము అతి పరిశుద్ధమైన వస్తువులను ప్రతిష్ఠించుటకును, యెహోవా సన్నిధిని ధూపము వేయుటకును, ఆయన సేవ జరిగించుటకును, ఆయన నామమును బట్టి జనులను దీవించుటకును ప్రత్యేకింపబడిరి.

13. The childre of Amram were: Aaron and Moses. As for Aaron, he was separated, to be sanctified for the Most holy, he & his sonnes for euer, to burne incense before the LORDE, & to mynister and blesse in ye name of the LORDE for euermore.

14. దైవజనుడగు మోషే సంతతివారు లేవి గోత్రపువారిలో ఎంచబడిరి.

14. And the children of Moses the man of God were named amonge ye trybe of the Leuites.

15. మోషే కుమారులు గెర్షోము ఎలీయెజెరు.

15. The childre of Moses were Gerson and Elieser.

16. గెర్షోము కుమారులలో షెబూయేలు పెద్దవాడు.

16. The children of Gerson, the fyrst was Sebuel.

17. ఎలీయెజెరు కుమారులలో రెహబ్యా అను పెద్దవాడు తప్ప ఇక కుమారులు అతనికి లేకపోయిరి, అయితే రెహబ్యాకు అనేకమంది కుమారులుండిరి.

17. The children of Elieser, the fyrst was Rehabia & Elieser had none other children. But ye childre of Rehabia were many ther ouer.

18. ఇస్హారు కుమారులలో షెలోమీతు పెద్దవాడు.

18. The children of Iezehar were: Salomith the fyrst.

19. హెబ్రోను కుమారులలో యెరీయా పెద్దవాడు, అమర్యా రెండవవాడు, యహజీయేలు మూడవవాడు, యెక్మెయాము నాలుగవవాడు.

19. The children of Hebron were: Ieria the fyrst, Amaria the seconde, Iahasiel the thirde and Iakmeam ye fourth.

20. ఉజ్జీయేలు కుమారులలో మీకా పెద్ద వాడు యెషీయా రెండవవాడు.

20. The children of Vsiel were: Micha the fyrst and Iesia the seconde.

21. మెరారి కుమారులు మహలి మూషి; మహలి కుమారులు ఎలియాజరు కీషు.

21. The children of Merari were: Maheli & Musi. The children of Maheli were: Eleasar and Cis.

22. ఎలియాజరు చనిపోయినప్పుడు వానికి కుమార్తెలుండిరి కాని కుమారులు లేకపోయిరి. కీషు కుమారులైన వారి సహోదరులు వారిని వివాహము చేసికొనిరి.

22. And Eleasar dyed, and had no sonnes but doughters. And the children of Cis their brethren toke them.

23. మూషి కుమారులు ముగ్గురు, మహలి ఏదెరు యెరీమోతు.

23. The children of Musi were: Maheli, Eder and Ieremoth, these thre.

24. వీరు తమ పితరుల యింటివారినిబట్టి లేవీయులుగా ఎంచబడిరి; పితరుల యిండ్లకు పెద్ద లైన వీరు ఇరువది సంవత్సరములు మొదలుకొని అంతకు పైవయస్సుగలవారై తమ తమ పేరుల లెక్కప్రకారము ఒక్కొక్కరుగా నెంచబడి యెహోవా మందిరపు సేవచేయు పనివారైయుండిరి.

24. These are the children of Leui amonge their fathers houses, and the chefest of the fathers, which were counted after the nombre of ye names heade by heade: which executed the worke of the offices in the house of the LORDE from thirtie yeare olde & aboue.

25. ఇశ్రాయేలీ యుల దేవుడైన యెహోవా తన జనులకు నెమ్మది దయచేసియున్నాడు గనుక వారు నిత్యము యెరూషలేములో నివాసము చేయుదురనియు

25. For Dauid sayde: The LORDE God of Israel hath geuen his people rest, & shall dwell at Ierusalem for euer.

26. లేవీయులుకూడ ఇకమీదట గుడారమునైనను దాని సేవకొరకైన ఉపకరణ ములనైనను మోయ పనిలేదనియు దావీదు సెలవిచ్చెను.

26. Amonge ye Leuites also were the childre of Leui nombred from thirtie yeare olde and aboue, that they neded not to beare ye Habitacion with all the vessels of their office,

27. దావీదు ఇచ్చిన కడవరి యాజ్ఞనుబట్టి లేవీయులలో ఇరువది సంవత్సరములు మొదలుకొని అంతకు పైవయస్సుగలవారు ఎంచబడిరి.

27. but acordinge to ye last wordes of Dauid,

28. వీరు అహరోను సంతతివారి చేతిక్రింద పని చూచుటకును, వారి వశముననున్న యెహోవా మందిర సేవకొరకై సాలలలోను గదులలోను ఉంచబడిన సకలమైన ప్రతిష్ఠితవస్తువులను శుద్ధిచేయుటకును, దేవుని మందిర సేవకొరకైన పనిని విచారించుటకును,

28. yt they shulde stonde vnder the hande of the children of Aaron, to mynister in the house of the LORDE in the courte, and to the chestes, and for purifyenge, and to all maner of sanctifyenge, and to euery worke of the office in the house of God.

29. సన్నిధి రొట్టెను నైవేద్యమునకు తగిన సన్నపు పిండిని పులుసులేని భోజ్యములను పెనములో కాల్చు దానిని పేల్చుదానిని నానావిధమైన పరిమాణములు గలవాటిని కొలతగలవాటిని విచారించుటకును,

29. And for ye shewbred, for the fyne floure, for the meatoffrynge, for the vnleuended wafers, for the pannes, for ye fryenge, and for all maner of weight and measure.

30. అనుదినము ఉదయ సాయంకాల ములయందు యెహోవానుగూర్చిన స్తుతి పాటలు పాడు టకును, విశ్రాంతిదినములలోను, అమావాస్యలలోను పండుగలలోను యెహోవాకు దహనబలులను అర్పింపవలసిన సమయములన్నిటిలోను, లెక్కకు సరియైనవారు వంతు ప్రకారము నిత్యము యెహోవా సన్నిధిని సేవ జరిగించుటకును నియమింపబడిరి.

30. And in the mornynge to stonde for to geue thankes and to prayse the LORDE, and in the euenynge likewyse.

31. సమాజపు గుడారమును కాపాడుటయు, పరిశుద్ధస్థలమును కాపాడుటయు,

31. And vpon all Sabbathes, Newmones and feastes to offre all the burntofferynges vnto the LOROE, acordinge to the nombre and ordre, allwaye before the LORDE:

32. యెహోవా మందిరపు సేవతో సంబంధించిన పనులలో వారి సహోదరులగు అహరోను సంతతివారికి సహాయము చేయుటయు వారికి నియమింపబడిన పనియైయుండెను.

32. to wayte vpon the Tabernacle of witnesse and of the Sactuary, and vpon their brethre the children of Aaron, to mynister in the house of the LORDE.
