1. Here are the groups of priests the sons of Aaron were separated into. The sons of Aaron were Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.

2. నాదాబును అబీహుయును సంతతిలేకుండ తమ తండ్రికంటె ముందుగా చనిపోయిరి గనుక ఎలియా జరును ఈతామారును యాజకత్వము జరుపుచువచ్చిరి.

2. But Nadab and Abihu died before their father did. They didn't have any sons. So Eleazar and Ithamar served as the priests.

3. దావీదు ఎలియాజరు సంతతివారిలో సాదోకును ఈతామారు సంతతివారిలో అహీమెలెకును ఏర్పరచి, వారి వారి జనముయొక్క లెక్కనుబట్టి పని నియమించెను.

3. With the help of Zadok and Ahimelech, David separated the priests into groups. Each group served in its appointed order and time. Zadok belonged to the family line of Eleazar. Ahimelech belonged to the family line of Ithamar.

4. వారిని ఏర్పరచుటలో ఈతామారు సంతతివారిలోని పెద్దలకంటె ఎలియాజరు సంతతివారిలోని పెద్దలు అధికులుగా కనబడిరి గనుక ఎలియాజరు సంతతివారిలో పదునారుగురు తమ పితరుల యింటివారికి పెద్దలుగాను, ఈతామారు సంతతి వారిలో ఎనిమిదిమంది తమ తమ పితరుల యింటివారికి పెద్దలుగాను నియమింపబడిరి.

4. More leaders were found among Eleazar's family line than among Ithamar's. So the priests were separated into their groups based on that fact. There were 16 family leaders from Eleazar's line. There were eight family leaders from Ithamar's line.

5. ఎలియాజరు సంతతిలోని వారును, ఈతామారు సంతతివారిలో కొందరును దేవునికి ప్రతిష్ఠితులగు అధికారులై యుండిరి గనుక తాము పరిశుద్ధ స్థలమునకు అధికారులుగా ఉండుటకై చీట్లువేసి వంతులు పంచుకొనిరి.

5. The priests were separated into their groups by using lots. That was the fair way to do it. The priests were officials of the temple and officials of God. They came from the family lines of Eleazar and Ithamar.

6. లేవీయులలో శాస్త్రిగానున్న నెతనేలు కుమారుడగు షెమయా రాజు ఎదుటను, అధిపతుల యెదు టను, యాజకుడైన సాదోకు ఎదుటను, అబ్యాతారు కుమారుడైన అహీమెలెకు ఎదుటను, యాజకులయెదుటను, లేవీయుల యెదుటను, పితరుల యిండ్లపెద్దలైన వారి యెదుటను వారి పేళ్లు దాఖలు చేసెను; ఒక్కొక్క పాత్రలోనుండి యొక పితరుని యింటి చీటి ఎలియాజరు పేరటను ఇంకొకటి ఈతా మారు పేరటను తీయబడెను.

6. Shemaiah was a Levite. He was the son of Nethanel. He was the writer who recorded the names of the priests. He wrote them down in front of the king and the officials. The officials included the priest Zadok and Ahimelech. Ahimelech was the son of Abiathar. They also included the leaders of the families of the priests and the Levites. One family was chosen by lot from Eleazar. Then one was chosen from Ithamar.

7. మొదటి చీటి యెహోయారీబునకు, రెండవది యెదా యాకు,

7. The 1st lot that was drawn out was for Jehoiarib. The 2nd was for Jedaiah.

8. మూడవది హారీమునకు, నాలుగవది శెయొరీము నకు,

8. The 3rd was for Harim. The 4th was for Seorim.

9. అయిదవది మల్కీయాకు, ఆరవది మీయామినుకు,

9. The 5th was for Malkijah. The 6th was for Mijamin.

10. The 7th was for Hakkoz. The 8th was for Abijah.

11. తొమ్మిదవది యేషూవకు పదియవది షెకన్యాకు పదకొండవది ఎల్యాషీబునకు,

11. The 9th was for Jeshua. The 10th was for Shecaniah.

12. పండ్రెండవది యాకీమునకు,

12. The 11th was for Eliashib. The 12th was for Jakim.

13. పదుమూడవది హుప్పాకు, పదునాలుగవది యెషెబాబునకు,

13. The 13th was for Huppah. The 14th was for Jeshebeab.

14. పదునయిదవది బిల్గాకు, పదునారవది ఇమ్మేరునకు,

14. The 15th was for Bilgah. The 16th was for Immer.

15. పదునేడవది హెజీరునకు, పదునెనిమిదవది హప్పి స్సేసునకు,

15. The 17th was for Hezir. The 18th was for Happizzez.

16. పందొమ్మిదవది పెతహయాకు ఇరువదియవది యెహెజ్కేలునకు,

16. The 19th was for Pethahiah. The 20th was for Jehezkel.

17. ఇరువదియొకటవది యాకీనునకు, ఇరువది రెండవది గామూలునకు,

17. The 21st was for Jakin. The 22nd was for Gamul.

18. ఇరువది మూడవది దెలాయ్యాకు, ఇరువదినాలుగవది మయజ్యాకు పడెను.

18. The 23rd was for Delaiah. The 24th was for Maaziah.

19. ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల దేవుడైన యెహోవా వారి పితరుడగు అహరోనునకు ఆజ్ఞాపించిన కట్టడ ప్రకారముగా వారు తమ పద్ధతిచొప్పున యెహోవా మందిరములో ప్రవేశించి చేయవలసిన సేవాధర్మము ఈలాగున ఏర్పాటు ఆయెను.

19. That was their appointed order for serving when they entered the Lord's temple. That order was based on the rules Aaron had given them long ago. Everything was done exactly as the Lord had commanded Aaron. The Lord is the God of Israel.

20. శేషించిన లేవీ సంతతివారెవరనగా అమ్రాము సంతతిలో షూబాయేలును, షూబాయేలు సంతతిలో యెహెద్యాహును,

20. Here are the other members of the family line of Levi. From the sons of Amram came Shubael. From the sons of Shubael came Jehdeiah.

21. రెహబ్యా యింటిలో అనగా రెహబ్యా సంతతిలో పెద్దవాడైన ఇష్షీయాయును,

21. From the sons of Rehabiah came Isshiah. Isshiah was the oldest.

22. ఇస్హారీ యులలో షెలోమోతును, షెలోమోతు సంతతిలో యహతును,

22. From the people of Izhar came Shelomoth. From the sons of Shelomoth came Jahath.

23. హెబ్రోను సంతతిలో పెద్దవాడైన యెరీయా, రెండవవాడైన అమర్యా, మూడవవాడైన యహజీయేలు, నాలుగవవాడైన యెక్మెయాములును,

23. Jeriah was the first son of Hebron. Amariah was his second son. Jahaziel was the third. Jekameam was the fourth.

24. ఉజ్జీయేలు సంతతిలో మీకాయును మీకా సంతతిలో షామీరును,

24. The son of Uzziel was Micah. From the sons of Micah came Shamir.

25. ఇష్షీయా సంతతిలో జెకర్యాయును,

25. The brother of Micah was Isshiah. From the sons of Isshiah came Zechariah.

26. మెరారీ సంతతిలో మహలి, మూషి అనువారును యహజీ యాహు సంతతిలో బెనోయును.

26. The sons of Merari were Mahli and Mushi. The son of Jaaziah was Beno.

27. యహజీయాహువలన మెరారికి కలిగిన కుమారులెవరనగా బెనో షోహము జక్కూరు ఇబ్రీ.

27. The sons of Merari from Jaaziah were Beno, Shoham, Zaccur and Ibri.

28. మహలికి ఎలియాజరు కలిగెను, వీనికి కుమారులు లేకపోయిరి.

28. From Mahli came Eleazar. Eleazar didn't have any sons.

29. కీషు ఇంటివాడు అనగా కీషు కుమారుడు యెరహ్మెయేలు.

29. From Kish came Jerahmeel. Jerahmeel was the son of Kish.

30. మూషి కుమారులు మహలి ఏదెరు యెరీమోతు, వీరు తమ పితరుల యిండ్లనుబట్టి లేవీ యులు.

30. The sons of Mushi were Mahli, Eder and Jerimoth. Those were the Levites, family by family.

31. వీరును తమ సహోదరులైన అహరోను సంతతివారు చేసినట్లు రాజైన దావీదు ఎదుటను సాదోకు అహీమెలెకు అను యాజకులలోను లేవీయులలోను పితరుల యిండ్ల పెద్దలయెదుటను తమలోనుండు పితరుల యింటి పెద్దలకును తమ చిన్న సహోదరులకును చీట్లు వేసికొనిరి.

31. They cast lots, just as their relatives, the sons of Aaron, had done. They did it in front of King David, Zadok and Ahimelech. They did it in front of the family leaders of the priests. They also did it in front of the family leaders of the Levites. The families of the oldest brother were treated in the same way as the families of the youngest.
