1. అహరోను సంతతివారికి కలిగిన వంతులేవనగా, అహరోను కుమారులు నాదాబు అబీహు ఎలియాజరు ఈతామారు.

1. The division of the sons of Aaron: Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.

2. నాదాబును అబీహుయును సంతతిలేకుండ తమ తండ్రికంటె ముందుగా చనిపోయిరి గనుక ఎలియా జరును ఈతామారును యాజకత్వము జరుపుచువచ్చిరి.

2. But Nadab and Abihu died before their father and had no children. And Eleazar and Ithamar were the Priests.

3. దావీదు ఎలియాజరు సంతతివారిలో సాదోకును ఈతామారు సంతతివారిలో అహీమెలెకును ఏర్పరచి, వారి వారి జనముయొక్క లెక్కనుబట్టి పని నియమించెను.

3. And David ordered them on this manner: Zadock of the sons of Eleazar and Ahimelek of the sons of Ithamar to be in office by course.

4. వారిని ఏర్పరచుటలో ఈతామారు సంతతివారిలోని పెద్దలకంటె ఎలియాజరు సంతతివారిలోని పెద్దలు అధికులుగా కనబడిరి గనుక ఎలియాజరు సంతతివారిలో పదునారుగురు తమ పితరుల యింటివారికి పెద్దలుగాను, ఈతామారు సంతతి వారిలో ఎనిమిదిమంది తమ తమ పితరుల యింటివారికి పెద్దలుగాను నియమింపబడిరి.

4. And there were more mighty heads found of the sons of Eleazar than of the sons of Ithamar. And they divided them into sixteen heads of ancient households of the sons of Eleazar, and eight of the sons of Ithamar.

5. ఎలియాజరు సంతతిలోని వారును, ఈతామారు సంతతివారిలో కొందరును దేవునికి ప్రతిష్ఠితులగు అధికారులై యుండిరి గనుక తాము పరిశుద్ధ స్థలమునకు అధికారులుగా ఉండుటకై చీట్లువేసి వంతులు పంచుకొనిరి.

5. And they put them in order by lot, one with another that there should be rulers in the sanctuary and lords before God as well of the sons of Ithamar as of the sons of Eleazar.

6. లేవీయులలో శాస్త్రిగానున్న నెతనేలు కుమారుడగు షెమయా రాజు ఎదుటను, అధిపతుల యెదు టను, యాజకుడైన సాదోకు ఎదుటను, అబ్యాతారు కుమారుడైన అహీమెలెకు ఎదుటను, యాజకులయెదుటను, లేవీయుల యెదుటను, పితరుల యిండ్లపెద్దలైన వారి యెదుటను వారి పేళ్లు దాఖలు చేసెను; ఒక్కొక్క పాత్రలోనుండి యొక పితరుని యింటి చీటి ఎలియాజరు పేరటను ఇంకొకటి ఈతా మారు పేరటను తీయబడెను.

6. And Semeiah the son of Nathaneel the Scribe of the Levites wrote them before the king and the lords, and before Zadock the priest and Ahimelek the son of Abiathar, and before the ancient heads of the priests and of the Levites: one principal household for Eleazar and one for Ithamar.

7. మొదటి చీటి యెహోయారీబునకు, రెండవది యెదా యాకు,

7. The first lot fell to Jehoiarib. The second to Jedaiah.

8. మూడవది హారీమునకు, నాలుగవది శెయొరీము నకు,

8. The third to Harim. The fourth to Seorim.

9. అయిదవది మల్కీయాకు, ఆరవది మీయామినుకు,

9. The fifth to Melciah. The sixth to Miamin.

10. The seventh to Hakes. The eighth to Abiah.

11. తొమ్మిదవది యేషూవకు పదియవది షెకన్యాకు పదకొండవది ఎల్యాషీబునకు,

11. The ninth to Jesua. The tenth to Secaniah.

12. పండ్రెండవది యాకీమునకు,

12. The eleventh to Eliasib. The twelfth to Jakim.

13. పదుమూడవది హుప్పాకు, పదునాలుగవది యెషెబాబునకు,

13. The thirteenth to Huphah. The fourteenth to Isbaab.

14. పదునయిదవది బిల్గాకు, పదునారవది ఇమ్మేరునకు,

14. The fifteenth to Belgah. The sixteenth to Emer.

15. పదునేడవది హెజీరునకు, పదునెనిమిదవది హప్పి స్సేసునకు,

15. The seventeenth to Hezir. The eighteenth to Haphzez.

16. పందొమ్మిదవది పెతహయాకు ఇరువదియవది యెహెజ్కేలునకు,

16. The nineteenth to Pathahaiah. The twentieth to Jehesekiel.

17. ఇరువదియొకటవది యాకీనునకు, ఇరువది రెండవది గామూలునకు,

17. The twenty first to Jacin. The twenty second to Gamul.

18. ఇరువది మూడవది దెలాయ్యాకు, ఇరువదినాలుగవది మయజ్యాకు పడెను.

18. The twenty third to Delaiahu. The twenty fourth to Maasiahu.

19. ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల దేవుడైన యెహోవా వారి పితరుడగు అహరోనునకు ఆజ్ఞాపించిన కట్టడ ప్రకారముగా వారు తమ పద్ధతిచొప్పున యెహోవా మందిరములో ప్రవేశించి చేయవలసిన సేవాధర్మము ఈలాగున ఏర్పాటు ఆయెను.

19. This is the order of them in their offices, to come into the house of the LORD according to their manner under Aaron their father, as the LORD God of Israel commanded.

20. శేషించిన లేవీ సంతతివారెవరనగా అమ్రాము సంతతిలో షూబాయేలును, షూబాయేలు సంతతిలో యెహెద్యాహును,

20. The rest of the sons of Levi: of the sons of Amram, Subael. Of the sons of Subael, Jehediahu.

21. రెహబ్యా యింటిలో అనగా రెహబ్యా సంతతిలో పెద్దవాడైన ఇష్షీయాయును,

21. Of the sons of Rohabiah the first Jesiah.

22. ఇస్హారీ యులలో షెలోమోతును, షెలోమోతు సంతతిలో యహతును,

22. Of the Izaharites, Salemoth. Of the sons of Salemoth, Jahath.

23. హెబ్రోను సంతతిలో పెద్దవాడైన యెరీయా, రెండవవాడైన అమర్యా, మూడవవాడైన యహజీయేలు, నాలుగవవాడైన యెక్మెయాములును,

23. And the sons of Hebron were Jeriahu the first, Amariah the second, Jahaziel the third, Jekameam the fourth.

24. ఉజ్జీయేలు సంతతిలో మీకాయును మీకా సంతతిలో షామీరును,

24. Of the sons of Usiel, Micah. Of the sons of Micah Samir.

25. ఇష్షీయా సంతతిలో జెకర్యాయును,

25. The brother of Micah was Jesiah. Of the sons of Jesiah Zachariah.

26. మెరారీ సంతతిలో మహలి, మూషి అనువారును యహజీ యాహు సంతతిలో బెనోయును.

26. The sons of Merari were Mahali and Musi. The sons of Jaaziahu, Beno.

27. యహజీయాహువలన మెరారికి కలిగిన కుమారులెవరనగా బెనో షోహము జక్కూరు ఇబ్రీ.

27. The sons of Merari by Jahaziahu. Beno, Sohem, Zacur and Ebri.

28. Mahali had Eleazar which had no sons.

29. కీషు ఇంటివాడు అనగా కీషు కుమారుడు యెరహ్మెయేలు.

30. మూషి కుమారులు మహలి ఏదెరు యెరీమోతు, వీరు తమ పితరుల యిండ్లనుబట్టి లేవీ యులు.

30. The sons of Musi: Mahali, Eder and Jermoth. These are of the children of Levi in the households of their fathers.

31. వీరును తమ సహోదరులైన అహరోను సంతతివారు చేసినట్లు రాజైన దావీదు ఎదుటను సాదోకు అహీమెలెకు అను యాజకులలోను లేవీయులలోను పితరుల యిండ్ల పెద్దలయెదుటను తమలోనుండు పితరుల యింటి పెద్దలకును తమ చిన్న సహోదరులకును చీట్లు వేసికొనిరి.

31. And these cast lots next to their brethren the sons of Aaron, before David the king and Zadock and Ahimelek and the ancient heads and priests of the Levites: as well the youngest brother as an ancient head.
