1. సొలొమోను యెహోవా నామఘనతకొరకు ఒక మందిరమును తన రాజ్యఘనతకొరకు ఒక నగరును కట్టవలెనని తీర్మానము చేసికొని

1. Solomon gave orders to build a temple. That's where the Lord would put his Name. Solomon also gave orders to build a royal palace for himself.

2. బరువులు మోయుటకు డెబ్బది వేలమందిని, కొండలమీద మ్రానులు కొట్టుటకు ఎనుబది వేలమందిని ఏర్పరచుకొని వీరిమీద మూడు వేల ఆరువందల మందిని అధిపతులుగా ఉంచెను.

2. He chose 70,000 men to carry things. He chose 80,000 to cut stones in the hills. He put 3,600 men in charge of them.

3. సొలొమోను తూరు రాజైన హీరాము నొద్దకు దూతలచేత ఈ వర్తమానము పంపెను నా తండ్రియైన దావీదు నివాసమునకై యొక నగరును కట్టతలచియుండగా నీవు అతనికి సరళ మ్రానులను సిద్ధముచేసి పంపించినట్లు నాకును దయచేసి పంపించుము.

3. Solomon sent a message to Hiram. Hiram was king of Tyre. The message said, 'Send me cedar logs, just as you did for my father David. You sent him cedar to build a palace to live in.

4. నా దేవుడైన యెహోవా సన్నిధిని సుగంధ వర్గములను ధూపము వేయుటకును సన్నిధి రొట్టెలను నిత్యము ఉంచుటకును, ఉదయ సాయంకాలముల యందును, విశ్రాంతి దినములయందును, అమావాస్యల యందును, మా దేవుడైన యెహోవాకు ఏర్పాటైన ఉత్సవములయందును, ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు నిత్యమును అర్పింపవలసిన దహనబలులను అర్పించుటకును, ఆయన నామఘనతకొరకు మందిరమొకటి ఆయనకు ప్రతిష్ఠితము చేయబడునట్లుగా నేను కట్టించబోవుచున్నాను.

4. Now I'm about to build a temple. The Name of the Lord my God will be there. I'll set the temple apart for him. 'Sweet-smelling incense will be burned in front of him there. The holy bread will be set out at regular times. Burnt offerings will be sacrificed there every morning and evening. They will be sacrificed every Sabbath day. They will be sacrificed at every New Moon Feast. And they will be sacrificed at every yearly appointed feast of the Lord our God. That's a law for Israel that will last for all time to come.

5. నేనుకట్టించు మందిరము గొప్పదిగానుండును; మా దేవుడు సకలమైన దేవతలకంటె మహనీయుడు గనుక

5. 'The temple I'm going to build will be beautiful. That's because our God is greater than all other gods.

6. ఆకాశ ములును మహాకాశములును ఆయనను పట్టజాలవు, ఆయ నకు మందిరమును కట్టించుటకు చాలినవాడెవడు? ఆయన సన్నిధిని ఆయనకు మందిరమును కట్టించుటకైనను నేనే మాత్రపువాడను? ధూపము వేయుటకే నేను ఆయనకు మందిరమును కట్ట దలచియున్నాను.

6. So who is able to build a temple for him? After all, the heavens can't hold him. In fact, not even the highest heavens can hold him. So who am I to build a temple for him? It will only be a place to burn sacrifices to him.

7. నా తండ్రియైన దావీదు నియమించి యూదాదేశములోను యెరూషలేములోను నాయొద్ద ఉంచిన ప్రజ్ఞగలవారికి సహాయకుడైయుండి, బంగారముతోను వెండితోను ఇత్తడితోను ఇనుముతోను ఊదా నూలుతోను ఎఱ్ఱ నూలుతోను నీలి నూలు తోను చేయు పనియును అన్ని విధముల చెక్కడపు పనియును నేర్చిన ప్రజ్ఞగల మనుష్యునొకని నాయొద్దకు పంపుము.

7. 'Send me someone who is skilled at working with gold, silver, bronze and iron. He must also be able to work with purple, blue and bright red yarn. He must be skilled in the art of carving. Send him to work in Judah and Jerusalem with my skilled workers. My father David provided them to help me.

8. మరియు లెబానోనునందు మ్రానులు కొట్టుటకు మీ పనివారు నేర్పుగలవారని నాకు తెలిసేయున్నది.

8. 'Also send me cedar, pine and algum logs from Lebanon. I know that your men are skilled in cutting wood there. My men will work with yours.

9. కాగా లెబానోనునుండి సరళమ్రానులను దేవదారుమ్రానులను చందనపుమ్రానులను నాకు పంపుము; నేను కట్టించ బోవు మందిరము గొప్పదిగాను ఆశ్చర్యకరమైనదిగాను ఉండును గనుక నాకు మ్రానులు విస్తారముగా సిద్ధపరచుటకై నా పనివారు మీ పనివారితో కూడ పోవుదురు.

9. They'll provide me with plenty of lumber. That's because the temple I'm building must be large and beautiful.

10. మ్రానులుకొట్టు మీ పనివారికి నాలుగువందల గరిసెల దంచిన గోధుమలను ఎనిమిదివందల పుట్ల యవలను నూట నలువదిపుట్ల ద్రాక్షారసమును నూట నలువదిపుట్ల నూనెను ఇచ్చెదను.

10. 'I'll pay your servants. They will cut the wood. I'll pay them 125,000 bushels of wheat that has been ground up. I'll pay them 125,000 bushels of barley. I'll also pay them 115,000 gallons of wine and 115,000 gallons of olive oil.'

11. అప్పుడు తూరు రాజైన హీరాము సొలొమోనునకు వ్రాసిపంపిన ఉత్తరమేమనగాయెహోవా తన జనమును స్నేహించి నిన్ను వారిమీద రాజుగా నియమించి యున్నాడు.

11. King Hiram of Tyre replied to Solomon. He wrote a letter to him. It said, 'The Lord loves his people. That's why he has made you their king.'

12. యెహోవాఘనతకొరకు ఒక మందిరమును నీ రాజ్యఘనతకొరకు ఒక నగరును కట్టించుటకు తగిన జ్ఞానమును తెలివియుగల బుద్ధి మంతుడైన కుమారుని రాజైన దావీదునకు దయచేసిన, భూమ్యాకాశములకు సృష్టికర్తయగు ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల దేవుడైన యెహోవా స్తుతి నొందునుగాక.

12. Hiram continued, 'I praise the Lord. He is the God of Israel. He made heaven and earth. He has given King David a wise son. You have good sense. You understand what is right. You will build a temple for the Lord. You will also build a palace for yourself.

13. తెలివియు వివేచనయుగల హూరాము అనునొక చురుకైన పనివానిని నేను నీయొద్దకు పంపు చున్నాను.

13. 'I'm sending Huram-Abi to you. He is very skillful.

14. అతడు దాను వంశపురాలగు ఒక స్త్రీకి పుట్టినవాడు, వాని తండ్రి తూరు సంబంధమైనవాడు, అతడు బంగారముతోను వెండితోను ఇత్తడితోను ఇనుముతోను రాళ్లతోను మ్రానులతోను ఊదా నూలుతోను నీలినూలుతోను సన్నపు నూలుతోను ఎఱ్ఱ నూలుతోను పని చేయగల నేర్పరియైనవాడు. సకలవిధముల చెక్కడపు పనియందును మచ్చులు కల్పించుటయందును యుక్తికలిగి, నీ పనివారికిని నీతండ్రియైన దావీదు అను నా యేలిన వాడు నియమించిన ఉపాయశాలులకును సహకారియై వాటన్నిటిని నిరూపించుటకు తగిన సామర్థ్యము గలవాడు.

14. His mother was from Dan. His father was from Tyre. He is trained to work with gold, silver, bronze and iron. He knows how to work with stone and wood. He can also work with purple, blue and bright red yarn and fine linen. He's skilled in all kinds of carving. He can follow any pattern you give him. He'll work with your skilled workers. He'll also work with those of your father David. David was my master.

15. ఇప్పుడు నా యేలినవాడు చెప్పియున్న గోధుమలను యవలను నూనెను ద్రాక్షారసమును నీ సేవకుల చేతి కిచ్చి వారిని సాగనంపినయెడల

15. 'Now please send us what you promised. Send us the wheat, barley, olive oil and wine.

16. మేము నీకు కావలసినమ్రానులన్నియు లెబానోనునందు కొట్టించి వాటిని నీకొరకు సముద్రముమీద తెప్పలుగా యొప్పేకు కొనివచ్చెదము, తరువాత నీవు వాటిని యెరూషలేమునకు తెప్పించుకొన వచ్చును అని వ్రాసెను.

16. And we'll cut all of the logs from Lebanon you need. We'll make rafts out of them. We'll float them by sea down to Joppa. Then you can take them up to Jerusalem.'

17. సొలొమోను తన తండ్రి యైన దావీదు ఇశ్రాయేలు దేశమందుండిన అన్యజాతివారినందరిని, ఎన్నిక వేయించిన యెన్నిక ప్రకారము వారిని లెక్కింపగా వారు లక్ష యెనుబదిమూడువేల ఆరువందలమందియైరి.

17. Solomon counted all of the outsiders who were living in Israel. He did it after his father David had counted them. There were 153,600 of them.

18. వీరిలో బరువులు మోయుటకు డెబ్బది వేల మందిని పర్వతములందు మ్రానులు కొట్టుటకు ఎనుబది వేల మందిని, జనులమీద అధిపతులుగానుండి పనిచేయించుటకు మూడువేల ఆరు వందల మందిని అతడు ఏర్పరచెను.
