1. సొలొమోను యెహోవా నామఘనతకొరకు ఒక మందిరమును తన రాజ్యఘనతకొరకు ఒక నగరును కట్టవలెనని తీర్మానము చేసికొని

1. Solomon planned to build a house for the name of the Lord, and a king's house for himself.

2. బరువులు మోయుటకు డెబ్బది వేలమందిని, కొండలమీద మ్రానులు కొట్టుటకు ఎనుబది వేలమందిని ఏర్పరచుకొని వీరిమీద మూడు వేల ఆరువందల మందిని అధిపతులుగా ఉంచెను.

2. So he picked 70,000 men to carry loads, 80,000 men to cut stones in the mountains, and 3,600 men to watch over these men.

3. సొలొమోను తూరు రాజైన హీరాము నొద్దకు దూతలచేత ఈ వర్తమానము పంపెను నా తండ్రియైన దావీదు నివాసమునకై యొక నగరును కట్టతలచియుండగా నీవు అతనికి సరళ మ్రానులను సిద్ధముచేసి పంపించినట్లు నాకును దయచేసి పంపించుము.

3. Then Solomon sent word to King Huram of Tyre, saying, 'You sent my father David cedar trees to build him a house to live in. Do the same for me.

4. నా దేవుడైన యెహోవా సన్నిధిని సుగంధ వర్గములను ధూపము వేయుటకును సన్నిధి రొట్టెలను నిత్యము ఉంచుటకును, ఉదయ సాయంకాలముల యందును, విశ్రాంతి దినములయందును, అమావాస్యల యందును, మా దేవుడైన యెహోవాకు ఏర్పాటైన ఉత్సవములయందును, ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు నిత్యమును అర్పింపవలసిన దహనబలులను అర్పించుటకును, ఆయన నామఘనతకొరకు మందిరమొకటి ఆయనకు ప్రతిష్ఠితము చేయబడునట్లుగా నేను కట్టించబోవుచున్నాను.

4. See, I am about to build a house for the name of the Lord my God. I will set it apart for Him. There special perfume will be burned before Him. The holy bread will be there all the time. Burnt gifts will be given morning and evening, on Days of Rest, on new moons, and during the special suppers of the Lord our God. This is to be done forever in Israel.

5. నేనుకట్టించు మందిరము గొప్పదిగానుండును; మా దేవుడు సకలమైన దేవతలకంటె మహనీయుడు గనుక

5. The house I am about to build will be great. For our God is greater than all the gods.

6. ఆకాశ ములును మహాకాశములును ఆయనను పట్టజాలవు, ఆయ నకు మందిరమును కట్టించుటకు చాలినవాడెవడు? ఆయన సన్నిధిని ఆయనకు మందిరమును కట్టించుటకైనను నేనే మాత్రపువాడను? ధూపము వేయుటకే నేను ఆయనకు మందిరమును కట్ట దలచియున్నాను.

6. But who is able to build a house for Him? For the heavens and the highest heavens are not big enough to hold Him. So who am I, that I should build a house for Him, except as a place to burn special perfume before Him?

7. నా తండ్రియైన దావీదు నియమించి యూదాదేశములోను యెరూషలేములోను నాయొద్ద ఉంచిన ప్రజ్ఞగలవారికి సహాయకుడైయుండి, బంగారముతోను వెండితోను ఇత్తడితోను ఇనుముతోను ఊదా నూలుతోను ఎఱ్ఱ నూలుతోను నీలి నూలు తోను చేయు పనియును అన్ని విధముల చెక్కడపు పనియును నేర్చిన ప్రజ్ఞగల మనుష్యునొకని నాయొద్దకు పంపుము.

7. Now send me an able man to work with gold, silver, brass, iron, and purple, red and blue cloth who knows how to cut all kinds of pictures. He will work with the able men I have in Judah and Jerusalem, whom my father David gave me.

8. మరియు లెబానోనునందు మ్రానులు కొట్టుటకు మీ పనివారు నేర్పుగలవారని నాకు తెలిసేయున్నది.

8. Send me cedar, cypress and algum trees from Lebanon. I know you have able men who know how to do this work. My servants will work with your servants

9. కాగా లెబానోనునుండి సరళమ్రానులను దేవదారుమ్రానులను చందనపుమ్రానులను నాకు పంపుము; నేను కట్టించ బోవు మందిరము గొప్పదిగాను ఆశ్చర్యకరమైనదిగాను ఉండును గనుక నాకు మ్రానులు విస్తారముగా సిద్ధపరచుటకై నా పనివారు మీ పనివారితో కూడ పోవుదురు.

9. to cut many trees for me. For the house I am about to build will be very great and beautiful.

10. మ్రానులుకొట్టు మీ పనివారికి నాలుగువందల గరిసెల దంచిన గోధుమలను ఎనిమిదివందల పుట్ల యవలను నూట నలువదిపుట్ల ద్రాక్షారసమును నూట నలువదిపుట్ల నూనెను ఇచ్చెదను.

10. I will give to your servants who cut trees, 200,000 baskets of crushed grain, 200,000 baskets of barley, 200,000 bottles of wine, and 200,000 bottles of oil.'

11. అప్పుడు తూరు రాజైన హీరాము సొలొమోనునకు వ్రాసిపంపిన ఉత్తరమేమనగాయెహోవా తన జనమును స్నేహించి నిన్ను వారిమీద రాజుగా నియమించి యున్నాడు.

11. Then King Huram of Tyre answered by letter to Solomon, 'The Lord has made you king over His people because He loves them.'

12. యెహోవాఘనతకొరకు ఒక మందిరమును నీ రాజ్యఘనతకొరకు ఒక నగరును కట్టించుటకు తగిన జ్ఞానమును తెలివియుగల బుద్ధి మంతుడైన కుమారుని రాజైన దావీదునకు దయచేసిన, భూమ్యాకాశములకు సృష్టికర్తయగు ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల దేవుడైన యెహోవా స్తుతి నొందునుగాక.

12. Then Huram said, 'Honor and thanks be to the Lord, the God of Israel. He has made heaven and earth. And He has given King David a wise son. Wisdom and understanding have been given to David's son who will build a house for the Lord and a king's house for himself.

13. తెలివియు వివేచనయుగల హూరాము అనునొక చురుకైన పనివానిని నేను నీయొద్దకు పంపు చున్నాను.

13. Now I am sending Huram-abi, an able man of understanding.

14. అతడు దాను వంశపురాలగు ఒక స్త్రీకి పుట్టినవాడు, వాని తండ్రి తూరు సంబంధమైనవాడు, అతడు బంగారముతోను వెండితోను ఇత్తడితోను ఇనుముతోను రాళ్లతోను మ్రానులతోను ఊదా నూలుతోను నీలినూలుతోను సన్నపు నూలుతోను ఎఱ్ఱ నూలుతోను పని చేయగల నేర్పరియైనవాడు. సకలవిధముల చెక్కడపు పనియందును మచ్చులు కల్పించుటయందును యుక్తికలిగి, నీ పనివారికిని నీతండ్రియైన దావీదు అను నా యేలిన వాడు నియమించిన ఉపాయశాలులకును సహకారియై వాటన్నిటిని నిరూపించుటకు తగిన సామర్థ్యము గలవాడు.

14. He is the son of a Danite woman and a Tyrian father. He knows how to work with gold, silver, brass, iron, stone and wood and with purple, blue, and red cloth. He knows how to cut all kinds of pictures, any kind given him to do. He is to work with your able men, and with those of my lord David your father.

15. ఇప్పుడు నా యేలినవాడు చెప్పియున్న గోధుమలను యవలను నూనెను ద్రాక్షారసమును నీ సేవకుల చేతి కిచ్చి వారిని సాగనంపినయెడల

15. So now let my lord send the grain, barley, oil and wine to his servant, as he has said.

16. మేము నీకు కావలసినమ్రానులన్నియు లెబానోనునందు కొట్టించి వాటిని నీకొరకు సముద్రముమీద తెప్పలుగా యొప్పేకు కొనివచ్చెదము, తరువాత నీవు వాటిని యెరూషలేమునకు తెప్పించుకొన వచ్చును అని వ్రాసెను.

16. We will cut whatever trees you need in Lebanon, and bring them to you by ship to Joppa. Then you may carry them up to Jerusalem.'

17. సొలొమోను తన తండ్రి యైన దావీదు ఇశ్రాయేలు దేశమందుండిన అన్యజాతివారినందరిని, ఎన్నిక వేయించిన యెన్నిక ప్రకారము వారిని లెక్కింపగా వారు లక్ష యెనుబదిమూడువేల ఆరువందలమందియైరి.

17. Solomon numbered all those in Israel who were from other lands, using the number of them which his father David had taken. And 153,600 were found.

18. వీరిలో బరువులు మోయుటకు డెబ్బది వేల మందిని పర్వతములందు మ్రానులు కొట్టుటకు ఎనుబది వేల మందిని, జనులమీద అధిపతులుగానుండి పనిచేయించుటకు మూడువేల ఆరు వందల మందిని అతడు ఏర్పరచెను.

18. He picked 70,000 of them to carry loads, 80,000 to cut stones in the mountains, and 3,600 men to see that the people did their work.
