1. మరియు హిజ్కియా ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల దేవుడైన యెహోవాకు పస్కాపండుగ ఆచరించుటకై యెరూషలేములోనున్న యెహోవా మందిరమునకు రావలసినదని ఇశ్రాయేలువారికందరికిని యూదావారికందరికిని వర్తమాన ములను, ఎఫ్రాయిమీయులకును మనష్షేవారికిని పత్రికలను పంపెను.

1. And Hezekiah sent to all Israel and Juda: and thereto wrote letters to Ephraim and Manasseh, that they should come to the house of the LORD at Jerusalem, to offer passover unto the LORD God of Israel.

2. సేవకు చాలినంతమంది యాజకులు తమ్మును తాము ప్రతిష్ఠించుకొనకుండుటచేతను, జనులు యెరూష లేములో కూడుకొనకుండుట చేతను, మొదటినెలయందు పస్కాపండుగ జరుగకపోగా

2. And the king held a counsel with his lords and all the congregation at Jerusalem to keep the feast of passover in the second month.

3. రాజును అతని అధిపతులును యెరూషలేములోనున్న సమాజపువారందరును దానిని రెండవ నెలలో ఆచరింపవలెనని యోచనచేసిరి.

3. For they could not keep it at that time: for there were not priests enough sanctified, neither was the people gathered together to Jerusalem.

4. ఈ సంగతి రాజుకును సమాజపువారికందరికిని అనుకూల మాయెను.

4. And the thing pleased the king and all the congregation.

5. కావున బహుకాలమునుండి వారు వ్రాయ బడిన ప్రకారము ఇంత ఘనముగా నాచరింపకుండుట చూచి, ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల దేవుడైన యెహోవాకు యెరూషలేములో పస్కాపండుగ ఆచరించుటకై రావలసినదని బెయేర్షెబా మొదలుకొని దాను వరకు ఇశ్రా యేలీయులుండు దేశమంతటను చాటింపవలెనని వారు నిర్ణయముచేసిరి.

5. And they decreed that it should be proclaimed thorowout all Israel from Bersabe to Dan, that they should come and hold the feast of the passover unto the LORD God of Israel at Jerusalem: for they had not often done it, as it is written how they should.

6. కావున అంచెవాండ్రు రాజునొద్దను అతని అధిపతులయొద్దను తాకీదులు తీసికొని, యూదా ఇశ్రాయేలు దేశములందంతట సంచరించి రాజాజ్ఞను ఈలాగు ప్రచురము చేసిరిఇశ్రాయేలువారలారా, అబ్రా హాము ఇస్సాకు ఇశ్రాయేలుల దేవుడైన యెహోవావైపు తిరుగుడి; మీరు తిరిగినయెడల మీలో అష్షూరురాజుల చేతిలోనుండి తప్పించుకొని శేషించినవారివైపు ఆయన తిరుగును.

6. And the messengers went with letters of the hand of the king and of his lords thorowout all Israel and Juda, at the commandment of the king which said: children of Israel, turn again unto the LORD God of Abraham, Isaac and Israel, and so will he turn to the remnant of you that are escaped out of the hands of the king of Assur.

7. తమ పితరుల దేవుడైన యెహోవాయెడల ద్రోహముగా ప్రవర్తించిన మీ పితరులవలెను మీ సహో దరులవలెను మీరు ప్రవర్తింపకుడి. వారి ప్రవర్తన ఎట్టిదొమీకు అగపరచవలెనని ఆయన వారిని వినాశమునకు అప్పగించెను.

7. And be ye not like your fathers and your brethren which trespassed against the LORD of your fathers, which therefore gave them up that they are wasted as ye see.

8. మీ పితరులవలె మీరు అవిధేయులుగాక యెహోవాకు లోబడి, ఆయన శాశ్వతముగా పరిశుద్ధ పరచిన ఆయన పరిశుద్ధమందిరములో ప్రవేశించి, మీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా మహోగ్రత మీ మీదినుండి తొలగి పోవునట్లు ఆయనను సేవించుడి.

8. Wherefore be not stiff necked like unto your fathers, but yield yourselves unto the LORD, and come to his holy place which he hath sanctified for ever, and serve the LORD your God, that his wrath may turn from you.

9. మీరు యెహోవావైపు తిరిగినయెడల మీ సహోదరులయెడలను మీ పిల్లల యెడలను చెరతీసికొని పోయిన వారికి కనికరము పుట్టును, వారు ఈ దేశమునకు తిరిగి వచ్చెదరు. మీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా కరుణాకటాక్షములు గలవాడు గనుక మీరు ఆయనవైపు తిరిగినయెడల ఆయన మీయందు ప్రసన్నుడగును.

9. For if ye turn unto the LORD, then your brethren and your children shall find compassion in the presence of them that hold them captive, that they may come again unto this land: for the LORD your God is full of mercy and compassion, and will not turn his face from you, if ye turn again to him.

10. అంచెవాండ్రు జెబూలూను దేశమువరకును, ఎఫ్రా యిము మనష్షేల దేశములలోనున్న ప్రతి పట్టణమునకును పోయిరి గాని అచ్చటివారు ఎగతాళిచేసి వారిని అపహ సించిరి.

10. And the posts went from city to city thorowout the land of Ephraim and Manasseh and even unto Zabulon. But they laughed them to scorn and mocked them.

11. అయినను ఆషేరు మనష్షే జెబూలూను దేశముల వారిలోనుండి కొందరు కృంగిన మనస్సుతో యెరూషలేమునకు వచ్చిరి.

11. Nevertheless yet divers of Asser, Manasseh and of Zabulon meekened themselves and came to Jerusalem.

12. యెహోవా ఆజ్ఞనుబట్టి రాజును అధిపతులును చేసిన నిర్ణయమును నెరవేర్చునట్లు యూదాలోనివారికి మనస్సు ఏకముచేయుటకై దేవుని హస్తము వారికి తోడ్పడెను.

12. And thereto the hand of God was in Juda, to make them of one accord to do the commandment of the king and the captains, which was according to the word of the LORD.

13. కావున రెండవ నెలయందు పులియని రొట్టెలపండుగ ఆచరించుటకై అతివిస్తారమైన సమాజముగా బహు జనులు యెరూషలేములో కూడిరి.

13. And so there assembled to Jerusalem much people and a mighty great congregation, to hold the feast of sweet bread in the second month.

14. వారు దాని చేపట్టి యెరూషలేములోనున్న బలిపీఠములను ధూపపీఠములను తీసివేసి, కిద్రోను వాగులో వాటిని పారవేసిరి.

14. And they arose and put away the altars that were in Jerusalem. And thereto all the incense they did away and cast them into the brook Cedron.

15. రెండవ నెల పదునాల్గవ దినమున వారు పస్కాపశువును వధించిరి; యాజకులును లేవీయులును సిగ్గునొంది, తమ్మును ప్రతిష్ఠించుకొని దహనబలి పశువులను యెహోవా మందిరములోనికి తీసికొని వచ్చిరి.

15. And they slew passover the fourteenth day of the second month. And the priests and Levites sanctified themselves for shame, and brought in the burntofferings into the house of the LORD.

16. దైవజనుడైన మోషే నియమించిన ధర్మశాస్త్రములోని విధినిబట్టి వారు తమ స్థలమందు నిలువబడగా, యాజకులు లేవీయుల చేతిలోనుండి రక్తమును తీసికొని దానిని ప్రోక్షించిరి.

16. And they stood in their standing after their manner according to the law of Moses the man of God. And the priests sprinkled the blood receiving it of the hands of the Levites.

17. సమాజకులలో తమ్మును ప్రతిష్ఠించుకొనని వారనేకు లుండుటచేత యెహోవాకు వాటిని ప్రతిష్ఠించుటకై ప్రతిష్ఠించుకొనని ప్రతివాని నిమిత్తము పస్కాపశువులను వధించుపని లేవీయుల కప్పగింపబడెను.

17. And because there were many in the congregation that were not sanctified: and therefore did the Levites slay passover for all that were not clean to sanctify them to the LORD.

18. ఎఫ్రాయిము మనష్షే ఇశ్శాఖారు జెబూలూను దేశములనుండి వచ్చిన జనులలో చాలామంది తమ్మును తాము ప్రతిష్ఠించు కొనకయే విధివిరుద్ధముగా పస్కాను భుజింపగా హిజ్కియా

18. There was very much people out of Ephraim, Manasseh, Isakar and Zabulon that were not clean, and therefore did eat passover otherwise than writing specifieth. But Hezekiah prayed for them and said:

19. పరిశుద్ధస్థలముయొక్క శుద్ధీకరణముచొప్పున తన్ను పవిత్రపరచుకొనకయే తన పితరుల దేవుడైన యెహోవాను ఆశ్రయింప మనస్సు నిలుపుకొనిన ప్రతి వాని నిమిత్తము దయగల యెహోవా ప్రాయశ్చిత్తము చేయునుగాక అని ప్రార్థింపగా

19. the good LORD be merciful to all that set their hearts to seek the God that is the LORD God of their fathers, though they do it not according to the cleanness of the holy place.

20. యెహోవా హిజ్కియా చేసిన ప్రార్థన అంగీకరించి జనులను స్వస్థపరచెను.

20. And the LORD heard Hezekiah and healed the people.

21. యెరూషలేములోనున్న ఇశ్రాయేలువారు బహు సంతోష భరితులై పులియని రొట్టెల పండుగను ఏడు దినములుఆచరించిరి. లేవీయులును యాజకులును యెహోవాను ఘనపరచుచు గొప్ప నాదముగల వాద్యములతో ప్రతి దినము ఆయనను స్తుతించుచు ఉండిరి.

21. And so the children of Israel that were found at Jerusalem, held the feast of sweet bread seven days with great gladness, and the Levites and the priests praised the LORD day by day with loud instruments.

22. యెహోవా సేవ యందు మంచి నేర్పరులైన లేవీయులందరితో హిజ్కియా ప్రీతిగా మాటలాడెను; వారు సమాధానబలులు అర్పించుచు, తమ పితరుల దేవుడైన యెహోవా దేవుడని యొప్పుకొనుచు ఏడు దినములు పండుగ ఆచరించిరి.

22. And Hezekiah spake heartily unto the Levites that had good understanding of the LORD. And they did eat that feast seven days long and offered peaceofferings and thanked the LORD God of their fathers.

23. యూదా రాజైన హిజ్కియా సమాజపువారికి బలియర్పణల నిమిత్తము వెయ్యి కోడెలను ఏడువేల గొఱ్ఱెల నిచ్చుటయు, అధిపతులు వెయ్యి కోడెలను పదివేల గొఱ్ఱెల నిచ్చు టయు, బహుమంది యాజకులు తమ్మును తాము ప్రతిష్ఠించుకొనుటయు

23. And the whole assembly took counsel to keep seven days more: and they held those seven days with gladness.

24. సమాజపు వారందరును చూచి నప్పుడు, మరి ఏడు దినములు పండుగ ఆచరింపవలెనని యోచనచేసికొని మరి ఏడు దినములు సంతోషముగా దాని ఆచరించిరి.

24. For Hezekiah king of Juda gave for heaveofferings to the congregation a thousand oxen and seven thousand sheep. And the lords gave to the congregation for heaveofferings a thousand oxen and ten thousand sheep. And the priests sanctified themselves, that they were enough.

25. అప్పుడు యాజకులును లేవీయులును యూదావారిలోనుండియు ఇశ్రాయేలువారిలోనుండియు వచ్చిన సమాజపువారందరును, ఇశ్రాయేలు దేశములోనుండి వచ్చి యూదాలో కాపురమున్న అన్యులును సంతో షించిరి.

25. And all the congregation of Juda with the priests and Levites, and all the congregation that came out of Israel and the strangers, both that came out of the land of Israel and that dwelt in Juda, rejoiced:

26. యెరూషలేము కాపురస్థులకు మిక్కిలి ఆనందము కలిగెను. ఇశ్రాయేలురాజును దావీదు కుమారుడునైన సొలొమోను కాలమునకు తరువాత ఈలాగున జరిగి యుండలేదు.

26. and there was great joy in Jerusalem. For since the time of Salomon the son of David king of Israel it happened not so in Jerusalem.

27. అప్పుడు లేవీయులైన యాజకులు లేచి జనులను దీవింపగా వారిమాటలు వినబడెను; వారి ప్రార్థన ఆకాశముననున్న పరిశుద్ధ నివాసమునకు చేరెను.

27. And the priests and the Levites arose and blessed the people, and their voice was heard, and their prayer went up unto his holy dwelling place heaven.
